Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are brand new parents. Just a week ago, the Counting On star welcomed her very first child into the world, a daughter named Felicity. In the days since, Vuolo has made one thing very clear… … having a small baby at home is tiring! A sizeable number of Facebook users are Black, but many of its employees are not Black. In fact, a staggeringly low number of the social media giant’s workers are Black and Latinx women, according to the company’s latest diversity report released July 12. There are only six Black women who are senior managers and executives. Less than one percent of those 769 positions belong to Black women, who fare worse than their Latinx counterparts at 1.3 percent. The data is alarming, to say the least. “We are definitely concerned,” Maxine Williams , Facebook’s chief diversity officer who is Black, told USA TODAY . In addition, there were higher gains for Latinx employees, who went going from 6 to 8 percent in those areas. Nueces County Jail Texas Woman Arrested After Selling Her Child A Texas mother has been arrested after allegedly selling her child. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Texas Department of Public Safety obtained a warrant to search the home of a Nueces County Woman, and when authorities arrived and searched the home, they found a 7-year-old boy. The woman says she purchase the child from the his mother, Esmeralda Garza. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to USA Today, the transaction totaled $2,500. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Garza stated that she and her boyfriend owe drug money and gave her child to (the woman) who pay $500 cash and clear the owe debt and and extra $700 when the ‘custody paperwork’ was signed,” a report states. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to DPS Sgt. Nathan Brandley, the woman was in the process of selling her two and three-year-old daughters as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The 29-year-old is facing third degree felony charges for selling a child. She is being held on a $100,000 bond.
