People ain’t isht… Man Leaves Baby In Hot Car Outside Barbershop An Iowa man is making national headlines after he told police he “forgot” his child was in the backseat of his sweltering hot car and went inside a barbershop for “an extended period of time.” The Desmoines Register reports: A Des Moines man told police that he had fallen asleep in a sweltering car while his 6-month-old son was dying from heat exposure in the back seat, according to a police report. But detectives aren’t buying his story. Lance Jordan Williams Sr., 35, is in jail on a child-endangerment charge after authorities determined that the baby had been left in the car Saturday afternoon while the outside temperature approached 90 degrees. Based on interviews with Williams and witnesses, police said they believe Williams parked his 1998 Dodge Caravan outside Barbershop Fresh, 501 Euclid Ave., and went inside the barbershop for an “extended period of time” before the child was found unresponsive. Williams initially told police a different story, according to the police report. He said he parked behind the business with his son in the back seat and started to play a game on his phone, while the car was turned off. The investigation has identified inconsistencies in his statements,” Sgt. Paul Parizek, a spokesman for the Des Moines Police Department, said Monday. “Detectives believe that he was not sleeping in the car at the time the child died.” Other people were in the barbershop while Williams was there, but police believe nobody knew that the child was outside. Medical personnel told police that the child appeared dead when they arrived, according to the report. The child likely died from overheating, but the Polk County Medical Examiner has not released autopsy results and an official cause of death. So sad, we hear about these “hot car deaths ” all the time. Parents, what do YOU think about this dad’s story??? Do YOU think he intentionally killed his child???

At around 9:00 p.m. ET, a Nebraska couple watch their two-year-old son wade in the shallows of Walt Disney World’s Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Hotel. All of a sudden, the boy was snatched up by an alligator and dragged into the water. “The father entered the water, and he tried to grab the child, but was not successful in doing so,” Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings told reporters during a press conference today. The mother also went into the water to try and save her son. The couple, who brought their 4-year-old daughter on the trip, alerted a nearby lifeguard who then called 911. The father suffered only scratches while trying to remove the boy from the alligator’s jaw. “They [alligators] were probably attracted to some motion on the bank,” executive director of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Nick Wiley explained, according to USA Today . “That’s the way they stalk their prey.” Wiley added that the alligator could have mistaken the child for prey, as the reptile was likely feeding. The lake is being searched by wildlife specialists, divers and a trained alligator trapper. Four alligators have been removed, but no traces of the child were found. Demings told reporters this morning that this was still considered a “search and rescue operation,” adding that he and all though involved in looking for the boy were “very hopeful. “Sometimes you get the worst, but we are hoping for the best,” he said. As the search continued, Demings changed his tune. The sad reality of it is it’s been several hours, and we’re not likely going to recover a live body,” he said, according to CNN . No Swimming signs are posted to all beach areas of the land-locked resort, which has never had an accident like this.

The following video features one pretty awful man. And a bunch of totally awesome Target employees. It was filmed by a young mother in Connecticut named Jessie Maher, as she sat down in the store’s cafeteria to breast feed her one-year old daughter. Quickly after she started to do so, a man blasted Maher as a “disgusting whore.” But Maher pulled out her cellphone and started to film the incident, later sharing it on her Facebook page. To date, it has racked up over five million views. “Anybody know this a**hole who verbally assaulted me in target this morning while I was breastfeeding my baby? (He’s wearing an Avon shirt),” Maher wrote as a message along with the footage. She added: “Before the video started rolling he looked at me and said (very angrily), “can’t you do that somewhere else?… That’s f***ing disgusting.. You are nasty” (he said a few other things under his breath). “I responded with, “I am feeding my baby, and I have the right to do it here…walk the f*** away..leave me the f*** alone.” “He responded with, (as he’s walking closer and closer to me and getting louder) “you are f***ing disgusting…you are f***ing disgusting…you are f***ing disgusting…you whore” he said a bunch more bullshit that I can not remember …. “by this point EVERYONE came to my defense! Target staff and shoppers… Then I started rolling the camera….” An unidentified woman can be heard coming to Maher's defense. She makes sure the poor mother doesn't feel ashamed over providing her child with sustenance. “You shouldn’t be ashamed of feeding your baby,” she tells Maher. “He can go the other way. This is a beautiful moment. If he doesn’t like it he can go.” Then she addresses the man: “Don’t look, okay? I’m here to protect her.” Pretty awesome, huh? Check out the full video below:

She said she hadn’t planned on making the announcement so soon, but went ahead after hearing about the leak. “It’s a bittersweet time for me right now,” Stodden said. “I’m dealing with a lot of stress and emotions surrounding life and its ups and downs.” “Doug and I weren’t planning on going public with this so soon.” “I’m only four weeks along in my pregnancy. But some things are out of your control,” she added. Shortly after breaking the news, Courtney revealed that she was suffering from depression . We don’t know if it’s a longstanding problem, hormone-related or a condition stemming from the fact that she had her life taken away when she married a 50-year-old has-been actor when she was just 16. Whatever the case, we do hope her spirits rise.
