Adrian Peterson has been accused of child abuse for the second time in less than a week. According to a new report by KHOU, the Minnesota Vikings running back sent a different four-year old son back to his mother last June with a scar on his forehead. The station says Peterson sent the mother a text message that claimed the toddler smacked his head on a car seat… but when the boy’s mother pressed the issue, Peterson admitted to striking hitting the child. This story is developing. UPDATE: Sources tell TMZ that the the child accidentally hit his head on a car seat while being punished by Peterson, but Peterson did not directly hit the boy. KHOU has uncovered the actual text messages sent between Peterson and this woman. They read: Mother: “What happened to his head?” Peterson: “Hit his head on the Carseat.” Mother: “How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car.” Peterson: “Yep.” Mother: “Why?” Peterson: “I felt so bad. But he did it his self.” In a subsequent text, Peterson told the mother that if the child had simply remained “still” and taken his “whooping,” he would not have hit his head. The Houston TV station reports the mother of the four-year-old filed a report with Child Protective Services, but no charges have been filed. Meanwhile, Peterson was arrested on charges of negligent or reckless injury to a child over the weekend. He admitted to the authorities that he “whooped” another four-year old child with a switch , text messaging that boy’s mother (who is a different woman than the original woman cited above) that he felt bad for going so far with his beating. The Vikings sat Peterson for yesterday’s game against the Patriots, but have reinstated him for next Sunday’s contest against the Saints. He issued a lengthy apology earlier today in which apologized for the latest incident, said he’s been seeing a psychologist and that he’s working to be a better father and person . After being indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child , Adrian Peterson turned himself over to the police in Houston early Saturday morning. He was booked at approximately 1 a.m. and released once he posted $15,000 bond. Here’s a look at his unusually pleasant mug shot: Peterson has been deactivated by the Minnesota Vikings for their game against the New England Patriots tomorrow. He admitted to police that he whooped his four-year old son with a switch and that he later felt bad about the severity of the beating, especially because he accidentally struck the child in the testicles. Once the toddler was returned to his mother, she took him to the doctor, who tended to a number of serious wounds all across the boy’s back, legs and buttocks. Peterson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, says his client is fully cooperating with the authorities and is a caring father who was just disciplining his son. “This indictment follows Adrian’s full cooperation with authorities who have been looking into this matter. Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son,” reads a statement from Hardin. Dear Bossip , I’m 26-years old, and the mother of two beautiful daughters ages 6 and 3 years old. My story, to keep it brief, is I met my kid’s father almost 7 years ago. Our relationship, you can say, went from zero to one hundred real quick. Within three months we were living together, and I was pregnant with our first child. I was completely in love with life. Everything was going great, so I thought. As years went on I started to notice he was verbally abusive. That later became physical, not just on his end but mine as well. I’m bipolar and I never told him. Once my anger reaches a point I go into a state where it becomes sometimes uncontrollably. I later left once I become more emotionally stable. Now, two years later we are still together, but still no ring. I’m ready for the next chapter in life. We both have changed, but he is still hesitant about the thought of marriage. So, now we are in year 7 and he always says, “Yeah, baby, we gonna get married it just takes time.” Or, he says, “Baby, we gonna get married. We working on it, just take it one day at a time.” Which I understand, but at what point do I say no. No more waiting. We aren’t currently living together and I was recently offered a job out of state. I’m torn because I do love him and I do want us to be a family. But, I’m conflicted should I stay and wait? Leave and begin my new book as a single mother? – She Just Doesn’t Know Dear Ms. She Just Doesn’t Know , Accept the job offer and leave. Start over, begin a new life, and the new chapter in your life. You’ve been down this road of waiting on him. Ma’am, you’ve endured the abuse, on both of your ends, and, even though you mentioned things are better now, there is still no ring. So, why wait? Seven years later, and he still can’t make up his mind on whether or not he wants to get married? Uhm, no! This is not how this works. Why keep you on hold saying it takes time? You’ve given him 7 years and a child. You’ve invested in him, and you’ve been through hell and back. But, you’re not worth it to get married despite everything you’ve gone through with him? Get the freak out of here! If it hasn’t gotten better now, it won’t. If he is waiting on some miraculous sign to give him the “a-okay” to get married, it’s not going to happen. And, what are you working on before you get married? Are you in pre-marital counseling? Is he getting help for his anger, and abusive behavior? Are you therapy for your bipolar, and have you told him since you’ve kept it from him? If you haven’t done any of the above that I just mentioned, then why get married? Seriously!?! There is no need to marry this man if neither of you are working on yourselves, in therapy, and getting the necessary treatment you both clearly need. Therefore, you’ll just be spinning your wheels if you stay there and continue waiting on him. MOVE! LEAVE! Here is the opportunity, a blessing in disguise, to move on, start a new chapter in your life, and begin anew. A window of opportunity has opened, hell, a door is being propped open, so why not take it? You won’t know until you do it! Simply do it and watch other miraculous blessings open up, and new things begin to appear. Take the chance. Go and do you and for the first time really, and I mean really get to know what happiness, self-love, love, joy, happiness, and peace will be like without him. This is the time to invest in you and your child. Make the investment. You can sit there and wait on him all you want. You can ask until you’re blue in the face. If he isn’t ready, then nothing will make him do what he doesn’t want to do. And, simply, he doesn’t want to get married. He’s shown you, told you, and continues to be about him. Sure, he may love you, but marrying you is not what he wants. So, love you and your child enough to walk away, chuck up the deuces and give this new life a try. You have nothing to lose. And, I’m sure he will want to come back and want to be all up in your face talking about marriage once you start talking about moving. Well, too late. He had his chance. But others succeed at apologizing to their son’s girlfriend after their security cameras caught her dry humping their child behind the sofa in the living room. Yes, this really happened to a Reddit user named “One Skinny Mexican,” who shared his story online, along with the dessert item baked by his mom and dad. Look what they wrote to his embarrassed girlfriend: The young man says that he thought he and his girlfriend were “at an angle” in which the camera would miss them, but obviously he was mistaken. “All my mom could see when she looked at the camera was my girlfriend moving back and forth,” he wrote on Reddit, describing the experience. As for why they made the cake for her, well … it beats not making a cake. “I suppose my mother just thought it would be funny to do so,” he says. She was right! And this may have been a net positive overall. Throw this on top of the pile of BS Team Carter is facing daily… Via TheHollywoodGossip : A woman named Tina Seals has reportedly filed a maternity lawsuit in Manhattan in which she claims to be the mother of Blue Ivy Carter, Jay Z and Beyonce’s only child. The rumored legal document alleges that Seals is seeking “to verify whether she is the biological mother” of the toddler and that she was “previously associated” in some way with defendants “Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z Carter.” It’s nearly unheard of for a woman to file a maternity lawsuit because this somehow means Seals believes SHE gave birth to Blue Ivy instead of Beyonce… which is just an odd thing for the latter to have covered up and/or the former to have allowed. Could she have had an affair with Jay Z, given the child up for adoption to the couple and is now having second thoughts? It’s unclear, and it could be complete BS – but this scandal comes amidst incessant chatter that Jay Z and Beyonce are on the outs. They’ve been touring together for weeks, but many close to the stars say the singers scarcely talk off stage and that “no one will be surprised” when they split. Jay Z, meanwhile, has been rumored to have stepped out on Beyonce with everyone from Rihanna to some artist named Liv… and now with Tina Seals as well. Or perhaps she acted as a surrogate. Blue is the spitting image of both her parents. Unless this woman looks just like Beyonce and stole Hov’s baby batter somehow, we can’t see how she could possibly have mothered Baby Blue.
Cold blooded … Mom Accused Of Killing Her Toddler Smiles And Winks At Judge A Washington woman who’s accused of drowning her 2-year-old and slicing the throat of her teen daughter was recently seen smiling and winking at a judge during her hearing for aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder charges. KHOU Houston reports: Notes left by a mother accused of drowning her 2-year-old and cutting the throat of her teenage daughter recounted the attack and said the “baby didn’t suffer as she fell asleep in the water,” according to an arrest warrant affidavit unsealed Tuesday. The document was released as a Clatsop County Circuit Court judge accepted not guilty pleas from Jessica Smith to charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder. The murder charge could bring the death penalty if Smith is convicted. Smith, 40, of Goldendale, Washington, appeared in court via video and smiled on several occasions during the 20-minute hearing. She nodded and winked when asked whether she understood that she would remain in jail at least until a Sept. 30 hearing. Authorities have said Smith checked into the Surf Sand Resort in Cannon Beach on July 29 under her own name with her two daughters in tow. Three days later, a cleaning crew found the drowned body of the 2-year-old girl. The still-breathing teenager was covered in blood with her throat cut. According to the affidavit, Smith gave her teenage daughter a double dose of a sleeping agent, then used a numbing compound on her neck before her throat was slashed. Smith considered cutting the toddler’s throat, her 13-year-old daughter told an Oregon State Police detective, but chose to drown the child instead. The state medical examiner, Dr. Karen Gunson, told The Oregonian that the 2-year-old had been heavily sedated with an over-the-counter antihistamine. Gunson told the newspaper that asphyxiation by drowning was the main cause of the 2-year-old’s death and the drug was a “contributing cause.” SMH….this woman is sick.
A grandmother is Columbus, Ohio has hopefully learned a valuable lesson about humor. Earlier this month, Jackie Sheaks posted one photo of her baby granddaughter on Facebook with duct tape over her mouth and another photo of the child lying in a roasting pan. She says she meant the images to be a “joke,” but users didn’t exactly laugh. And neither did Child Protective Services or the local sheriff, who dropped by for a visit and questioned Jackie’s abilities to supervise a child. “We would never harm our children,” Sheaks told a local station after hearing from authorities, adding: “It’s definitely taught me a lesson: what we think is funny, other people don’t… it will never happen again.” Seriously. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse than tying a baby to your wedding gown and dragging it down the aisle.
