Raised in the historic New England town of Southington, Connecticut, Lisa made her big debut on the small screen in an episode of Married… with Children , before landing more boob tube roles in shows like Silk Stalkings , Murphy Brown , The X-Files , and more. In 1996 she made her one and only nude appearance, going top free in the 8th installment of the Amityville Horror franchise, Amityville: Dollhouse . It was brief, but boobiful. Her wild blonde mane and sultry bad girl image made her a perfect fit for the role of Eric Foreman’s ultra-hot older sister on That’s ‘70s Show , although substance abuse problems eventually brought her career to a standstill. A lil’ positivity… Hospital Changes Decision About Denying Treatment To Dying Teen Over Legal Troubles Earlier this week, we reported on the case of a 15-year-old Georgia boy who was given six months to live but being denied a heart transplant by hospital administrators partly because of his past run-ins with the law. Well, it seems the powers that be have had a change of heart. via Think Progress Anthony Stokes, the 15-year-old Georgia resident who was initially denied a place on a heart transplant list because of his history of “non-compliance,” is getting a second chance. His family says that his doctors have changed their minds, and Anthony was placed on a transplant list at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta on Tuesday. Anthony has an enlarged heart, and likely only has six months to live unless he receives a transplant. But at the beginning of this week, the doctors at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta informed his family that he wasn’t eligible for the transplant list, partly because of his history of low grades and trouble with the law. Doctors weren’t convinced that Anthony could be trusted to follow directions and manage his follow-up care. “I know he will comply with all the rules,” Melencia Hamilton, Anthony’s mother, told ABC News in an emotional interview before the family learned the good news. “He will take his medicine because he knows that is how he has to live.” On Tuesday, hospital officials reversed course. They did not explain why they had changed their minds, but they indicated that Anthony would be one of the first in line for a heart transplant because his condition is so serious. “We met with hospital officials about 30 minutes ago,” family spokesman Mark Bell told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday afternoon. “After reviewing the situation, they said Anthony would be placed on the list for a heart transplant and that he would be first in line, due to his weakened heart condition.” Despite the blatantly shady reasoning behind the transplant denial in the first place, we’re glad that this young man will get another chance at life. Teenage Black Boy Denied Heart Transplant Due To Juvenile Record An Atlanta-area teenager fighting for his life with less than six months to live is being denied a necessary transplant that would save his life all because the hospital says his past run-ins with the law indicate that he wouldn’t take the follow-up steps necessary to effectively make the transplant a success. via Think Progress Fifteen-year-old Anthony Stokes has less than six months to live unless he receives an emergency heart transplant. But his family has been told that Anthony doesn’t qualify for the transplant list because he has a “history of non-compliance” — partly due to his history of earning low grades and having some trouble with the law. “They said they don’t have any evidence that he would take his medicine or that he would go to his follow-ups,” Melencia Hamilton, Anthony’s mother, told WSBTV News. Hamilton explained that her son has an enlarged heart, and a transplant is the only thing that will help his condition. The doctors at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta weren’t very specific about what exactly contributed to their decision to label Anthony as “non-compliant.” But family friends explained to WSBTV News that they were told it’s partly because of Anthony’s performance in school and run-ins with law enforcement. Hours of emotional testimony in the custody battle between Usher and his ex-wife today resulted in the singer keeping primary custody of the former couple’s two sons. As previously reported, five-year old Usher Raymond V nearly drowned on Monday and remains in the ICU under doctor’s care, though all accounts say the boy will recover fully. Usher Enters Courtroom In response to the incident, Tameka Raymond was granted an emergency hearing in which she argued that Usher is a negligent father who too often leaves the children under someone else’s supervision. According to TMZ sources, Tameka reiterated on the stand that the pool accident was simply the latest in a string of examples that prove Usher is an inattentive parent. She even broke down at one point when discussing her reaction to little Usher’s condition immediately following the incident. Usher and his legal team, meanwhile, argued that the accident could have happened to anyone at any time and that the singer positively loves his children. In the end, a judge ruled that Usher will maintain primary custody and Tameka will retain her right to occasionally visit with the boys. At the conclusion of the hearing, Usher embraced his ex-wife.

It’s a step forward for these two to embrace….maybe it’s a sign of a much needed truce. Pretty shocking … especially considering the painfully awkward silence that preceded the hearing. Tameka filed an emergency request for primary custody after her and Usher’s 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned in a pool on Monday. Usher currently has primary custody of their two boys. In court Friday, Tameka used the pool accident as an example of Usher being an inattentive father, who employs incompetent caretakers — in this case his aunt Rena — to look after their children. Usher’s lawyer shot back, insisting Usher’s a great dad and the children are thriving with him, despite the recent pool accident … which, Usher argued, could have happened to anybody. During questioning, Tameka broke down in tears talking about her son’s accident, saying she didn’t know if her child suffered permanent brain or heart damage. FYI, Usher Raymond V is still in the hospital — Tameka claimed it’s because of lingering complications, including a low heart rate. Usher said it’s because he doesn’t want his son discharged before doctors are 100% sure he’s okay. In the end, the judge sided with Usher, ruling the current custody order should stay in place … meaning Usher keeps primary custody, and Tameka gets a little. Peep the video below. Man Stabs Father Then Cuts Off His Hands According to Mail Online A Northern California man is accused of stabbing his father with a pair of scissors before using a power saw to slice off his own hands during a violent dispute. Jason Dunn, 27, pleaded not guilty on Monday in a Shasta County courtroom to an attempted murder charge in the attack on his father, Gregory. The suspect appeared in court with his hands reattached at the wrist but heavily bandaged. According to court records, deputies who went to a Redding area home June 17 found the elder Dunn lying in the driveway with multiple stab wounds and his son standing nearby with both of his hands severed at the wrist. Authorities said Jason Dunn acknowledged stabbing his father and cutting off his own hands following a heated argument. Dunn is being held on $575,000 bail and is due back in court August 15, according to The Record-Searchlight of Redding. Deputies responded to a home on Scheer Drive in Redding at around 3.30pm on June 17 after receiving a report of a disturbance. In the driveway, the officers discovered 59-year-old Gregory Dunn lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds to his neck, throat and upper body, the station KRCR-TV reported. ‘After stabbing his father multiple times, Jason Dunn said he then used a power saw to sever both his hands,’ Detective Will Gardner wrote in his arrest report. Both the father and son were taken to Mercy Medical Center, where doctors were able to surgically reattach Jason’s hands. During a bedside interview with police, the 27-year-old reportedly admitted to stabbing his father. Neighbors on Scheer Drive told the paper that the Dunns had a turbulent relationship and a times could be heard yelling at each other. Damn, when your children do you like that…..maybe he should have left the condom on.

Brothers Killed By Snake According to Mail Online Two small brothers, age 5 and 7, have been strangled to death in their sleep in Canada, by a massive python that escaped from a pet store below the apartment where the children were staying. The pet store owner Jean-Claude Savoie says the creeping horror slithered into the apartment in Campbellton, New Brunswick, through the ventilation ducts this morning and crawled into the ceiling. It somehow punched a hole in the ceiling and dropped onto the small boys from above. It then coiled around them and crushed them as they slept together on the floor. Mr Savoie, the owner of Reptile Ocean in Campbellton, described to Global News how he found the two boys dead in his apartment about 6.30am on Monday. The boys are brothers, the children of Mr Savoie’s best friend. He said they often sleep over at his apartment. ‘I thought they were sleeping until I (saw) the hole in the ceiling. I turned the lights on and I (saw) this horrific scene,’ he said. ‘(The snake) went through a ventilation system. I don’t understand how it did it. It went through the ceiling… and the snake fell through the living room from the ceiling,’ he said. The snake is not usually handled by anyone in the store and Mr Savoie said he does not know how it escaped its cage in the pet shop. He said he has owned the giant snake for more than a decade. ‘My body is in shock. I don’t know what to think,’ he told Global News. The two boys are the children of a friend of Mr Savoie who were having a sleepover at his apartment above the pet store. The horrifying deaths of the two children shock residents of the small city of 7,400 in northern New Brunswick. ‘It’s very nerve-wracking. If one got out, how many else got out,’ neighbor Diane Fournier said. Ms Fournier said that the young boys were fixtures in the neighborhood and often seen playing outside. Police said an autopsy will confirm the exact cause of death, though officials believe the boys were crushed to death by the snake. Mr Savoie said he captured the snake and turned it over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who are examining the snake. Those poor babies…to be strangled to death in your sleep. Somebody needs to get sued and charged with negligence.
