Rohan Marley is finally speaking on his breakup with Lauryn Hill . The pair, who had been linked since 1996, have five children together (Lauryn’s baby Micah, born last year, was allegedly fathered by a band member). While the relationship was rumored to have ended abruptly in 2011, details have been vague… and they still kinda are, but Rohan drops some clues in a new interview: In an interview with the UK’s Voice , Rohan confirms (sorta, kinda) why their relationship ended. “As a man, there are certain things I don’t accept, and it just so happened that I didn’t accept certain things [in the relationship]. It doesn’t mean she’s [Hill] a bad person or I’m a bad person. It just didn’t work out.” He continues: “[Our relationship] is good as in… in terms of being a mother and father to our children, it’s good. It’s not as perfect as one might want it to be. It’s just the way the road went.” Rohan has since become engaged to Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana. We guess Isabeli hasn’t brought anything he can’t accept into their situation eh? The full interview is in the print issue of the British magazine… Crazy how they got them on the front talking about “I’ve Moved On… I Wanted To Marry Lauryn But She Wasn’t Ready!” We would have thought she’d be ready after all them kids, but hey we know those artists are kinda weird right? It sounds like this guy expected Lauryn to be cool with him creepin out on their situation but he wasn’t trying to do the same thing! But maybe most guys would have put their foot down at accepting another man’s kid. What a messy situation! Source Via Retna/Twitter
Melissa Debling has a rockin’ set of tits….she’s some Glamour Model I’ve never heard of, but I don’t really keep track of these strippers, even though you think I would, because they are all willing to go topless as that is the foundation or basis of their skills and talents…It almost amazese me that these girls exist, you know that they look in the mirror and say “I have great tits, I must share said tits with the world, and monetize my life with these tits, cuz someone will see I have the tits that it takes and the eagerness to show them but not as a stripper cuz that’s tacky and gross”…..in some backwards big titty logic that makes little sense to me….but that doesn’t have to make sense…cuz we are all God’s Children and we are all allowed to have life dreams, goals, ambition, and if showing are tits is a part of that…than I’ll gladly watch….
She has won a slew of awards around the worldwide festival circuit and an Indian Academy Award nomination for titles including Fire , Water and Bollywood/Hollywood , but Indian-born filmmaker Deepa Metha’s latest Midnight’s Children may never be available to Indian audiences because the current government’s aversion to the film, which had its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival , has made the title unpalatable to distributors. The story, written by Salman Rushdie, who himself received a death Fatwa from the late Ayatollah Khomeini for another one of his novels, The Satanic Verses mirrors India’s history told through the emotional coming-of-age of a young man. India’s ruling Congress Party is the same party of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who ruled the world’s largest democracy from the mid-’60s to the late ’70s and again in the ’80s. The story includes a scathing indictment of the Prime Minister who was assassinated in 1984, causing the ire of officials though no outright ban is currently in place. Instead, distributors apparently fear soft reprisals and are avoiding the title. “Salman has often said that the book was his love letter to India,” said Metha as quoted in the Hindustan Times . “I think the film reflects that love. What a pity if insecure politicians deprive the people of India to make up their own minds about what the film means, or does not mean, to them.” This is not the first time that Metha has run afoul of authorities at home. Hindu right-wingers prevented her from filming Water in the country and she shifted production to neighboring Sri Lanka (where she also filmed Midnight’s Children ). And Rushdie’s Satanic Versus remains banned in India. “Ultimately, Midnight’s Children is about the emotional growth of a young man that parallels his country,” said Metha. “An allegory that almost everyone is relating to, despite color, gender, geographic boundaries.” Midnight’s Children will open in 40 countries beginning this fall. Usher got custody of his kids and wants Tameka to move on. Via TMZ reports : Usher is firing back at his ex-wife in their bitter custody dispute — claiming her “vile” attempts to regain custody of their children are an insult to the justice system. As we reported, Usher emerged victorious after an arduous custody trial with his ex Tameka Raymond, in which the judge awarded Usher primary custody of the couple’s two sons. Tameka filed papers asking for a new trial — on the grounds the judge had received campaign contributions from Usher’s lawyer and was biased as a result — but Usher says that’s BS. The singer filed his own response on Wednesday asking the court to deny Tameka’s request, claiming her motion is “an assault on the integrity of the court.” According to the docs, Usher believes Tameka is delusional, claiming if she were granted a new trial, it would be grounds for a reversal of ALL trials where a lawyer had contributed to a judge’s campaign. Usher claims the motion “constitutes a continuum of [Tameka’s] vile and unsupported claims that every person who dared testify against her … is biased and tainted.” A judge has yet to rule on the matter. SMH… What’s sad is there was never any evidence presented that showed Tameka Raymond isn’t a good mother, or even that Usher is a better parent than her. Especially when it was found that the shady azz judge had a relationship with Usher’s lawyer . Do you think Tameka deserves a new trial? But will she get one?
According to Heidi Klum, her ex Seal is a muhfuggin liar! Heidi Klum has spoken out for the first time since her divorce from Seal turned nasty when he accused her of “fornicating with the help,” insisting, “When we were together, I never looked at another man.” The German supermodel and TV host broke her silence in an exclusive TV interview with Katie Couric, recorded last week. The interview will be broadcast on Couric’s new daytime show, “Katie.” Sources tell us Klum was devastated after Seal made the mean-spirited comment, which suggested his ex-wife’s alleged cheating with her bodyguard caused their split. Seal told TMZ just over a week ago, after news of her becoming close to bodyguard Martin Kristen broke: “I preferred Heidi would have showed a little bit more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help.” While she has become close to her bodyguard of four years, friends insist this has happened only since her split from Seal. The pair separated in January and filed for divorce in April after nearly seven years of marriage. The “Project Runway” host and hunky Australian Kristen were spotted in New York a few weeks ago and on the beach in Sardinia with her children. Seal also added in an interview with TMZ, “I guess you now all have the answer that you’ve been looking for the past seven months.” Hinting that British-born singer Seal had used strong words during their marriage, Klum told Couric about Seal’s comments, in an excerpt revealed exclusively to Page Six: “It was a unique choice of words . . . I’m used to it. Other people aren’t. When we were together, I never looked at another man.” We’re told that Klum, who also said she was trying to mend her friendship with Seal, had already agreed to the interview with Couric, whose show debuts tomorrow, before Seal made the comment. The interview will air Wednesday. Hopefully both parties will be able to move on amicably, but we know Heidi will be okay…since Seal wifed that up when she was knocked up with another dude’s baby. SMH. Source

Big Bill couldn’t have been any cooler unless he broke out his saxophone after his speech! Our former Pres was calm and collected as he spit fact after fact…checkin’ Robney and Lyan for misleading voter’s with all the isht they’ve been spitting. Here’s an excerpt from President Clinton’s speech: We’re here to nominate a President, and I’ve got one in mind. I want to nominate a man whose own life has known its fair share of adversity and uncertainty. A man who ran for President to change the course of an already weak economy and then just six weeks before the election, saw it suffer the biggest collapse since the Great Depression. A man who stopped the slide into depression and put us on the long road to recovery, knowing all the while that no matter how many jobs were created and saved, there were still millions more waiting, trying to feed their children and keep their hopes alive. I want to nominate a man cool on the outside but burning for America on the inside. A man who believes we can build a new American Dream economy driven by innovation and creativity, education and cooperation. A man who had the good sense to marry Michelle Obama. I want Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States and I proudly nominate him as the standard bearer of the Democratic Party. In Tampa, we heard a lot of talk about how the President and the Democrats don’t believe in free enterprise and individual initiative, how we want everyone to be dependent on the government, how bad we are for the economy. The Republican narrative is that all of us who amount to anything are completely self-made. One of our greatest Democratic Chairmen, Bob Strauss, used to say that every politician wants you to believe he was born in a log cabin he built himself, but it ain’t so. We Democrats think the country works better with a strong middle class, real opportunities for poor people to work their way into it and a relentless focus on the future, with business and government working together to promote growth and broadly shared prosperity. We think “we’re all in this together” is a better philosophy than “you’re on your own.”Though I often disagree with Republicans, I never learned to hate them the way the far right that now controls their party seems to hate President Obama and the Democrats. When times are tough, constant conflict may be good politics but in the real world, cooperation works better. After all, nobody’s right all the time, and a broken clock is right twice a day. All of us are destined to live our lives between those two extremes. Unfortunately, the faction that now dominates the Republican Party doesn’t see it that way. They think government is the enemy, and compromise is weakness. I like the argument for President Obama’s re-election a lot better. He inherited a deeply damaged economy, put a floor under the crash, began the long hard road to recovery, and laid the foundation for a modern, more well-balanced economy that will produce millions of good new jobs, vibrant new businesses, and lots of new wealth for the innovators. Are we where we want to be? No. Is the President satisfied? No. Are we better off than we were when he took office, with an economy in free fall, losing 750,000 jobs a month. The answer is YES. President Obama started with a much weaker economy than I did. No President – not me or any of my predecessors could have repaired all the damage in just four years. But conditions are improving and if you’ll renew the President’s contract you will feel it. I believe that with all my heart. Barack also made a quick appearance out on the stage after Bill wrapped things up and, in case you didn’t know, this is the first time a former President has nominated a President. Period. If this didn’t get you amped up then we don’t know what will. Source Images via Getty
Don’t act like you didn’t tear up a little bit. First Lady Michelle Obama graced the stage tonight with a history-making speech that was filled with passion, determination, and most importantly, that human connection none of us felt last week when the Republicans had their turn. She spoke up for our children, all Women and their rights to equal pay and to make decisions for their bodies, and what it’s really like to be an American with convictions and heart. With such stories, the first lady sought to counter Republicans trying to paint Obama as something other than a typical American, and implied that it was Romney who couldn’t relate to people trying to get by in tough economic times. “In the end, for Barack, these issues aren’t political. They’re personal,” she said. “I’m going to try to not let them see their daddy cry because when Michelle starts talking, I start getting all misty,” Obama said at rally earlier Tuesday in Norfolk, Va. With a mix of personal anecdotes and policy talk, Mrs. Obama’s speech was by far her most political yet. “Today, after so many struggles and triumphs and moments that have tested my husband in ways I never could have imagined, I have seen firsthand that being president doesn’t change who you are – it reveals who you are,” she said. To that send, the first lady painted a portrait of a leader who knows first-hand the struggles of everyday Americans, who listens to them as president, and who pushes an agenda with their interests in mind. “That’s the man I see in those quiet moments late at night, hunched over his desk, poring over the letters people have sent him,” she said. “I see the concern in his eyes … and I hear the determination in his voice as he tells me, `You won’t believe what these folks are going through, Michelle . it’s not right. We’ve got to keep working to fix this. We’ve got so much more to do.”” She added: “I see how that’s what drives Barack Obama every single day.” In case you missed the amazing intro…or if you’re like us and you want to watch it again, here you go! You made us all really proud and inspired tonight Michelle. The best damn FLOTUS this country has had in a very long time! Source Photos via GettyImages/Youtube
C’mon now people, seriously?? WTC Victims Families Offended By Tourist 9/11 Memorial Behavior They’re treating it like a national playground. At the National September 11th Memorial, tourists balance coffee cups and soda bottles on the parapets bearing the names of the dead. Parents hoist their children to sit on the bronze plaques, while other visitors splash water from the two waterfalls onto their faces to cool themselves on a hot summer day. On the plaza, tourists break out lunch foods and lie on their backs. A year after the memorial’s opening, the almost-cheerful atmosphere at what was supposed to be a solemn site has appalled first responders and victims’ families. Some have compared the $700 million memorial to a “Disney attraction,” down to the weaving lines to get in. One tourist “spilt coffee all over my son’s name . . . after she arose from sitting on the names,” a relative wrote to Bill Doyle of the Coalition of 9/11 Families. When first responder Marianne Pizzitola visited, she found people acting “like this was a park or playground.” “People laughed and took pictures smiling, and so many people leaned on the tablets with all of my friends names engraved in them, holding Starbucks cups, like it was a kitchen table,” Pizzitola, head of the FDNY EMS Retirees Association, wrote in a letter to Memorial President Joe Daniels. Do you think that the 9/11 memorial and the WTC victims are being disrespected by people’s callous behavior? Image via NYPost Source
About that really clear statement Seal made this weekend? When he obviously accused Heidi Klum of cheating on him with bodyguard Martin Kristen ? He’d like to take it back, thanks. After telling TMZ he wished his ex-wife would have “at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help” and adding that the press has the answer it’s “been looking for” regarding his split with the super model, the singer has now released a new statement through his rep. It reads: “Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together, but he was merely pointing out that their separation and divorce are not yet final and they are indeed still legally married.” It’s unclear how a separation must be finalized, but, hey this is really none of our business. Klum, meanwhile, also released a rebuttal through a rep that states: “It is sad that Seal has to resort to this kind of behavior and spread these untruths about the mother of his children.” For the sake of those children, four of them, let’s hope the estranged couple calls for a media ceasefire starting… right… NOW.
