If you were on Twitter last week, you had a front-row seat for the appalling spectacle of a high-profile, unhinged lunatic railing against his enemies in the kind of tantrum one rarely finds outside of a pre-K classroom. But enough about President Donald John Trump; we’re here to talk about Kanye West’s feud with Drake . Come to think of it, “feud” might not be the right word for this situation, as the altercation was almost entirely one-sided. Kanye attacked his former friend for everything from making jokes about the sneakers he designs to allegedly contacting Kris Jenner on the sly. At one point, Kanye dragged Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, into the situation, alleging that Scott and Drake had filled their lyrics with subtle “sneak disses” directed at Kanye. “F–k that sickomode song Family first and always,” Kanye tweeted at one point, referring to a collaboration between Travis and Drake. Kim Kardashian defended her husband at one point, calling him “the most genius person that I know.” But for the most part, she kept her distance from the feud. Now, insiders are claiming that Kim was appalled by her husband’s outburst, and according to one source, she currently feels that “divorce is the only option.” Now, you might think that Kim would be used to Kanye’s outbursts by this point, as Yeezy takes to social media to boast that he’s off his meds about once a month. But this time is different for at least two reasons: For one thing, by dragging Travis into the fray, Kanye involved Kim’s family, and Kim is nothing if not protective of her sisters. (It’s one of those situations where she can talk as much smack as she wants, but outsiders better keep their mouths shut.) On top of that, Kim reportedly feels that by stirring up drama on social media, Kanye is threatening his family’s safety. “The more crap Kanye talks, the more and more Kim feels unsafe,” the source tells Radar Online. It’s not hard to see why the mother of three might feel this way. After all, it’s only been two years since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. And just last month, gunmen opened fire at the filming of a Tekashi69 music video , at a time when Kanye was rumored to be on set. Kanye wasn’t actually there at the time, and no one was injured, but we’re sure that this is all much more drama and violence than Kim would prefer in her life. “Kanye continues to throw Kim and her family into the fire and she is constantly getting threats and harassment,” the source continues. “It is just past the point of getting old and Kim is so fed up with all of this.” Obviously, Kim and Kanye divorce rumors are nothing new, but if anything would prompt Kim to pull the plug on her marriage, it would be the feeling that her husband is creating an unsafe environment for their children. Here’s what we know: Bullying isn’t just mere child’s play for our children. Just last week, we reported that a nine-year-old Alabama girl, McKenzie Adams , committed suicide because she was being teased by her classmates for being Black. To combat the negative effects of bullying against her child, one Georgia mother is using the gift of song to remind her son that he is special and that his life matters. In the viral video below, Briana Hampton can be seen singing Major’s “ Why I Love You ” to comfort her 6-year-old son, Isiah, who is being teased at school for his dark skin. “My son has been bullied at school and kids have been teasing him about his Darkskin. Me and my husband @_latruth always say Son your handsome and those kids are mad their not you,” Hampton wrote in a caption. The 26-year-old mother of three added, “Today I found the perfect song to tell my son how much i love him! I love you Isaiah your handsome and chocolate. The lady’s love chocolate men too. Ain’t that right ladies? #latruth #mrslatruth #thehamptons” Just beautiful! HelloBeautiful sat down with Hampton to talk about what prompted this beautiful video, where she believes this type of racist bullying comes from and what parents can do to protect their children. HelloBeautiful: What was going on with your son to prompt you to make this video? Briana Hampton: Ever since he’s been going to this new school, which is predominately white, I noticed that he was always complaining about not having any friends. I am not sure what started it, but I kept telling him, “Oh you’re going to make friends, Isiah.” After that, I would ask him how things were going at school and he said everything was fine, but I knew something was going on. He was always so jolly and happy and then things started to change. HB: What was the biggest thing that alarmed you about your son’s behavior? BH: He has an iPhone and I would take all these pictures of him on it, and then one day I noticed that all the photos of him were gone and were replaced with pictures of white boys. So I asked him “Isaiah, where are all the pictures of you? Why are these pictures in here?” He said to me that he didn’t want to see pictures of himself and that he wanted to be like the white boys and that white people were cooler than him. He also told me that his skin and hair were ugly and that he wanted to change his skin color. HB: That must have been heartbreaking. BH: It was. He’s only in kindergarten and he’s never said anything like that before. So I told him, “Isiah, you are beautiful and there is nothing wrong with how you look.” Soon after, I went to the school and spoke to the teachers and asked them to do a buddy program, and they said they would look into it, but I don’t think it’s working, because he is still saying that he doesn’t have any friends. I tried to ask who were the people doing this, was it Black kids, was it white kids, who was it. He is so little, he tells me that he doesn’t see color. That, and he doesn’t want to tell me who it is exactly. But here’s what I know is that racism is taught at home. These children are learning this from their parents, who because Trump’s in office, their attitude is “ we can be racist ’cause he gets away with it, so i can too.” That, and hurt kids hurt other kids. Bullying starts at home too. HB: Completely. So to combat this racism towards your son, you made this video? BH: Yes. I have three kids, and I wanted to do something for Isiah and have some one on one time with him to show him how much I love him. And to show him that he is beautiful in his own skin. HB: The video has now gone viral and has gotten such a beautiful response. Did you ever expect it would be received like this? BH: Not at all [Laughs.] I didn’t even think my son would respond with crying. I just thought he would laugh. But people have been so great and encouraging. I’ve been showing Isiah all of their comments and videos of other dark skin Black men like LeBron James and Michael Jordan to show them how confident they are with themselves. I definitely think he had a breakthrough. HB: That’s so encouraging to hear. BH: Thank you. I just knew that I had to do something. I recently read that story of that little girl who killed herself and I saw that bullying is real. And to see my own son, depressed at six-years-old, I couldn’t sit back and do nothing. It’s a parents job to build their children up, that has to start at home. For us, the next steps for my husband and I are working with other parents and teachers to create an anti-bullying campaign at the school to raise awareness. HB: What’s your advice for parents whose children are being bullied? BH: First, I would say, keep asking your kids questions about their day and how things are going—and make sure you ask them different types of questions. Also, make sure to get involved in their school lives, pop up at their school, sit in the classrooms and have meetings with their teachers. Our children are at school more than they are with you during the day, so you need to know what is going on. I know as parents we work a lot and work hard, but it’s important that e veryday when we come home from work, we set aside an hour and spend time with our children. They need our love and attention. Most importantly, pay attention to your child’s behavior, especially if they were happy before and now they don’t want to talk to you or they just want to isolate themselves and spend time alone. You can tell when someone’s energy us off and when it’s changing. If you can tell when your spouse’s energy change, your child isn’t any different. HB: Final thoughts on what we can do to stop racist bullying? BH: I just want people to know that like Isiah said, it’s not all about color. We are all people and in order for us to be union, we have to stop looking at what race we are, stop putting each other down and build each other up. Source: Toshi Sasaki / Getty Two Lawsuits Call Out Staff Members By Name Some horrible and shady things seem to be coming to light for a juvenile detention center in New York. According to New York Daily New s , supervisors and staff at the Horizon Juvenile Center were accused in a lawsuit of coercing teens to perform sex acts with them. The suit was filed on behalf of Franklyn Malonado, a teen who spent 2010 through 2014 in and out of Horizon. At the detention center, which holds 10 to 15-year-olds in Mott Haven, supervisors allegedly participated in “grooming” teen boys and girls to have sex with Horizon employees in exchange for things like smuggled booze, cigarettes and food. Former administrative director of residential child care, Tahia Dennis, was one of the supervisor named in the suit. Weeks after being named, Dennis ordered the shredding of internal documents. The content of the documents is unknown, but they could possibly link staff to the alleged abuse. Fortunately, the documents didn’t get destroyed and according to City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), they were seized by management and sent to a locked warehouse. The situation was then referred to the city Department of Investigation. The lawsuit described graphic details of the alleged abuse. In one instance, a female counselor was found naked on top of a teenager in his cell. Malonado says that same counselor told him she would make sure he didn’t face disciplinary actions if he “took care of her needs.” Initially, Malonado’s suit was filed in August of 2017 and it didn’t include names. However, in September of that year, Maldonado’s lawyer, Vik Pawar, filed an updated lawsuit that listed the names of supervisors, including Dennis. Twelve days later, Dennis sent out an email to the detention center’s tour commander and overseer of counselors, writing, “Please begin immediately to shred old paperwork and files that you might have since the building opened. Thank You.” A former employee at Horizon said the documents were shredded soon after the email was sent out, however a spokeswoman for the ACS, Chanel Caraway, told Daily News that none of the records were shredded. “This was part of a routine shredding of duplicate documents, but these documents were never actually shredded and have been stored in a secure location the entire time,” Caraway said. “However, the matter was referred to DOI upon learning of it.” A second lawsuit was filed in May of 2018 accusing certain Horizon staff members of sexual abuse. Miguel Smith, a teen who was at Horizon between 2013 and 2015, said that Dennis and another supervisor would “stand guard” while a female counselor had sex with him. Pawar is representing Smith as well, and he questions the claim that the email shredding order was apart of a routine task. “It says ‘from the beginning’ so they’ll be hard-pressed to explain that they’ve been doing this (shredding) going back,” Pawar said. “I think they’re hiding stuff. I think they got caught with their pants down and they were destroying evidence.” A new ACS commissioner had been appointed since all the alleged abused took place and he said he “ordered a top-to-bottom overhaul of leadership and practices at Horizon.” Meanwhile, the investigation of the staff in the lawsuits continues.
They often say that Internet trolls weigh, like, 400 pounds and live in their mother’s basement. But Kourtney Kardashian is here to disprove that theory. She’s here to say that trolls can also be hot and sexy and seductive and sizzling and… wait, sorry. We lost our train of thought. Oh, right. Here we go again: Kourtney has posted a new photo to her Instagram page, very clearly trolling either Internet users in general or one Internet user in particular: Sofia Richie. The picture (above) features Kourtney in a fancy and revealing black dress. Her cleavage and her bare legs are very much on display… she’s lying on a bed… ex-boyfriend Scott Disick and six-year old daughter Penelope are in the background… and Kardashian has written one word as the caption: Coparenting . This is a fact, of course. We’ve often given Kourtney and Scott props for always placing their three kids above all else. It’s clear that no matter what turmoil has existed personally between Kardashian and Disick, they have always been sure not to let it affect their relationship with their children. But most folks seem to agree that something else is going on here, aside from Kourtney simply stating that she and Scott are watching their toddler together. To wit: “Not coparenting. Just manipulating the situation to upset the girlfriend. Not the maturity of an almost 40-year-old. Grow up,” wrote one person in the comments section alongside this photo. Another called out Kardashian for being “disrespectful” to Sofia Richie, who has been dating Disick for well over a year now. And then a third accused Kourtney of trying to make Richie feel “insecure.” It’s been rumored forever, of course, that Disick is still sleeping with Kardashian . Just about a month ago, Scott, Sofia and Kourtney all had dinner together , hoping to quell this kind of chatter or at least talk about an awkward situation in which Richie would be spending a lot of time with Kourtney’s son and daughters. The meal hasn’t really slowed down the rumor mill, however. After Kourtney posed nude for GQ Mexico recently, for example, many assumed she was sending some sort of message to Disick. I’ve still got it if you ever want it , you know? And then Richie must not have been comforted by reading about how much Disick appreciated seeing his ex-lover’s birthday suit again. This remains a very tenuous arrangement all around. It’s certainly possible that Kourtney didn’t mean much by posting the photograph here of her and Disick in bed — but does anyone really believe that? How much Richie have felt upon seeing it? No matter how much she may love Scott and no matter how much she may even think Scott loves her, the fact remains that he has multiple children with Kourtney and always will. She will never be able to compete with the bond this creates between parents. And Kourtney just went out her way to send Sofia a reminder. In this age of social media, many parents have taken their forms to punishment to the net to embarrass their children into behaving. Many of those punishments have been egregious and cruel, but this one seems to be reasonable. That said, someone will always find a way to be faux outraged… According to 13ABC , Ohio dad Matt Cox was sick and tired of his 10-year-old daughter being suspended from school for bullying her classmates, so he decided he was going to put an end to it. Cox forced his daugther to walk 5 miles to school in 36-degree weather over her 3-day suspension and uploaded his recording to Facebook. Many parents applauded Cox for teaching his daughter a lesson, other, more sensitive types were big mad: Something is wrong in the home if this is how you try to teach your child how to be a good person. Punishments may make a kid stop doing the behavior, but it doesn’t change their heart. You need to sit down and figure out why she is bullying, spend some TIME, instead of just punishing. Add to that, putting it on social media so you can get some attention? yuck. Do YOU have a problem with this kind of punishment?
Every royal pregnancy becomes a subject of global fascination, but the scrutiny and speculation surrounding Meghan Markle’s forthcoming bundle of joy might be unprecedented. Barring some sort of royal massacre worthy of George R.R. Martin, Meghan’s child will never inherit the throne, but the unborn guy or gal is already receiving more press attention than any monarch of the modern era. Of course, one of the more obsessed-over mysteries is the question of whether Meghan is having a boy or a girl . And for the past week, social media has been abuzz with reports that the Duchess of Sussex might be expecting a boy and a girl. Yes, the tabloid press is convinced that Meghan is having twins , and as far as we can tell the speculation began with a single report: “Meghan’s hinted numerous times that ‘double trouble’ lies ahead,” a source told Us Weekly , adding that Markle has been “spotted affectionately putting her hand on her stomach and saying she can’t wait to meet ‘them.'” In suspicious fashion, the “insider” abruptly shifts from the vague to the very specific “Meghan has been busy decorating a safari-themed nursery” with two cribs in her apartment at Kensington Palace and that “Harry’s been helping, putting up shelves and ensuring everything is baby-friendly.” The Kensington Palace part should’ve been enough to tip the public off about the bogus nature of the report as Meghan and Harry are currently moving out of Kensington and relocating to Frogmore Cottage. But many appear to have been swayed by the Us piece. In fact, some folks are so convinced that they’re willing to put money on it. An Irish company with the hilarious name of Paddy Power had been accepting bets on the outcome of Meghan’s pregnancy, but they stopped due to the influx of wagers from gamblers who think she’s expecting twins. “An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether,” said a spokesperson for the company. “Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters — or an insider source — knows something more than we do.” In the week since the twin rumors went public, several sites, including the eye-rollingly sanctimonious Gossip Cop have come forward to bravely refute the claim. The site claims that not only is Us lying about the twin thing, there’s also no truth behind reports that Kate Middleton is throwing a shower for Meghan and has “hired a caterer to make blue cupcakes,” thus indicating boys are on the way. We suppose that part makes sense, as Meghan and Kate are in the midst of a feud that’s making headlines globally. As for what exactly is going on in Meg’s uterus, we’re guessing only a select handful of people are privy to that information — and none of them work at Us Weekly or Gossip Cop. Throughout the past few weeks, as multiple outlets confirmed that Jon Gosselin was seeking primary custody of his estranged son Collin, ex-wife Kate Gosselin has said very little. And now it appears that she has done very little to prevent this outcome. She’s done nothing at all, in fact. As previously reported, a date of December 4 had been determined to discuss the future of Collin and where he will reside after he leaves his program for kids with special needs. Jon had filed legal paperwork for Collin to reside with him on a permanent basis, following Jon also sharing numerous photos of him and his teenage son spending time together. Well… today is December 4. And the hearing did take place as scheduled. But Kate didn’t show up for it. She simply… didn’t show up for it. As a result? “Jon won sole physical and sole legal custody of Collin,” a source tells Us Weekly. “All other matters were moved to a future court date.” Radar Online has confirmed the same, writing that Jon arrived to the Reading, Pennsylvania courtroom at 9:15 a.m. in a black coat and suit. He sat with his legal team before the judge. Kate, who had filed a motion (that was dismissed) to delay the proceedings, never did the same, however. And that was that. “He looked very serious but calm,” an insider tells Radar Online of Jon. “He looked like he had just one thing on his mind: To get custody of Collin.” Jon has not come right out and slammed his ex-wife at any point in the recent past. But he has posted several photos online of him and Hannah and then, as we mentioned above, of him and Collin. The latter has been away from his seven siblings for awhile now; off in a program to assist with his special needs. That is really the only description or summary we’ve ever been given about Collin’s situation. And that’s fine. He’s 14 years old, has clearly been going through some stuff and is entitled to his privacy. Jon and Kate divorced in 2009 after a decade of marriage and the Kate Plus 8 actress was granted full legal custody of their now 14-year-old sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden; along with 18-year-old twins Cara and Mady. The exes were each granted shared physical custody at the time. In 2016, Kate briefly explained that Collin was seeking inpatient treatment for behavioral issues. That same year, Jon alleged it had been three years since he saw all eight of his kids at one time. Kate did not dispute this timeline, but likely would have blamed Jon for being an absentee dad. Now, according to recent reports, Collin will be home in time for Christmas . And the home to which he will go will belong to his father. While Jon and Kate’s six other children live with their mom, Hannah has been residing with her dad since earlier this year … following another bitter custody war. Legally, for whatever it is worth, she is still custody of Kate’s, though. It’s all very complicated and, as has so often been the case between the elder Gosselin, all very ugly and unfortunate. We simply hope the kids are doing as well as can be under these circumstances.
Another day, another really upsetting story about Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. At one point, these two were fan favorites, and definitely the best couple on Teen Mom. All that's been falling apart for a while, but now? Honestly, their marriage is a great big depressing mess. And thanks to a new report, things may be even worse than we thought. But as much as they’ve struggled over the years, things took a definite turn after Cate had a miscarriage and then went for two separate six-week stays at a treatment center in Arizona.
