Female Softball Coach Pretends To Be High School Boy A former teacher’s aide and softball coach for Virginia Beach Public Schools was sentenced Monday, after prosecutors say she tricked students into online relationships. Via WAVY reports: Circuit Court Judge A. Bonwill Shockley sentenced 27-year-old Kyle Lynne Noro of Virginia Beach for one count entice a minor to perform in porn, age 15+, offender 7+ years, according to Macie Pridgen with the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Virginia Beach. Noro was arrested in January 2014. In July, she pleaded no contest to the charges, meaning she admits the Commonwealth has enough evidence to prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Pridgen said the Commonwealth’s evidence proves Noro, while employed at Princess Anne High School in 2012 and 2013, used false identities to pose as teenage boys on at least 20 Facebook accounts. She bought prepaid cell phones to coordinate with the false identities and befriended several female students online. “She was not really soft spoken. She talked a lot, and when she talked, she kind of made you feel uncomfortable,” said Princess Anne graduate Ryan Sobotta. “She just didn’t seem normal to me.” Posing as “Kevin,” Noro engaged in an online sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, even arranging for gifts to be delivered to her. Pridgen said Noro sent numerous sexually explicit photos to the victim and convinced her to send hundreds of sexually explicit photos, in return. That relationship went on from August 1, 2013 to Oct. 31 of 2013, around when the victim’s father discovered the online relationship and reported it, according to Virginia Beach police. Later, it was discovered that “Kevin” was Noro. Pridgen said Noro confessed to the crime. “This case is a perfect example of the online predators that can threaten our community,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney for the city of Virginia Beach Collin Stolle. “Parents should continue to talk to their children and teenagers about online safety and encourage teens not to share information with people they don’t personally know. My office will continue to vigorously prosecute those who threaten our children online.” Judge Shockley sentenced Noro to 15 years in prison, with 12 years suspended. After she serves her three years, she must register as a sex offender and receive sex offender treatment. Noro will also not be allowed to use the internet and will be on intensive supervised probation. Pridgen said three years is the mandatory minimum sentence for Noro’s offense. This is gross!!!!
