Jill Duggar: Dragged By Fans For Pretending Derick Dillard Has a Job!

Back in November of 2017, Derick Dillard was fired from his in-laws’ reality show, Counting On . His wife, Jill Duggar, quit the show shortly thereafter as a gesture of solidarity. For a time, the Dillards were without a source of income, which would be a problem for anyone, but was especially daunting in this case, as the couple is raising two young sons. Recently, Jill launched a midwife service , but business has reportedly been slow, both due to concerns about her licensure and ongoing issues with her family’s reputation. Meanwhile, Derick seems to be devoting most of his ample free time to spewing his political opinions on Twitter. Naturally, fans and critics alike have been quick to encourage him to get a job, but it seems that’s the one issue that Derick has no interest in arguing about with strangers. In fact, it seems he’ll do whatever it takes to avoid the subject of his lack of employment, so you can imagine our surprise when Jill addressed the issue for him: This week, Jill posted the above photo, taken at her local polling place — and she raised quite a few eyebrows with the caption. “We just voted! Teaching ‘em young the privilege of letting your voice be heard…and took both boys with me since Derick was at work. lol,” she captioned the pic. On top of the usual comments about the Josh Duggar sex scandals and concerns over whether little Samuel is the right size for his car seat, lots of fans wanted to know exactly what sort of “work” Derick was engaged in. Last we checked, the 29-year-old was unemployed and seemed to have no interest in changing that condition. And as Jill’s followers were quick to point out, it’s not like D-Dill is the type to keep his accomplishments to himself. “Does he work at Twitter?” joked one fan . “‘Work’ and an actual job may be different things at the Dillard house,” quipped another. “Haha. ‘Derick is at work.’ That cracks me up,” remarked a third. Another dispensed with the humor and simply stated exactly what we’re all thinking: “He doesn’t really work or hold a job,” the follower wrote. “If he did, he would proudly be announcing his job all over the internet.” That’s both tough but fair — in other words, the exact opposite of a bigoted coward like Derick. Jill Duggar Accused of Faking Grief Over Friend’s Murder

Last week, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard shared some startling news from their temporary home in El Salvador. It seems a friend of Jill and Derick’s was murdered near his home in the couple’s village. Jill reported the news with a lengthy social media tribute to her late friend: “We received a phone call on Monday from a friend here in Central America informing us that one of our other good friends (a fellow Christian) had been murdered the day before and that his family had found his body down by the river earlier that morning,” Jill wrote. “Even though we had spoke [sic] with our friend and his family about the realities of the dangers here, and especially in their area right now, we were shocked when we learned of his kidnap [sic] and murder.” Fans were shocked, and many expressed their concerns for the Dillards safety or offered prayers for the family of their departed friend. However, now it seems that others were doubtful about the sincerity of the Dillards’ grief. Hollywood Life posted the above photo on Tuesday, along with a headline reading: “Jill Duggar Posts Baby Bump Snap After Revealing Her Friend Was Murdered” The site went on to write: “Jill Duggar seems to be in good spirits despite the tragic death of her friend, on May 22. She posted a photo on May 23, with her mother Michelle, where she showed off her growing bump. “The snap came just 24 hours after she learned that her friend had been murdered.” We hate to get all Gossip Cop on you, but Hollywood Life may need to check its facts on this one. Jill posted about her slain friend on May 17. The photo above (which is nowhere to be found on Jill’s IG account) appears to have been posted by a Duggar fan site on May 23. The Dillards just returned to the US on May 20, so Jill couldn’t possibly have posed with her mother within 24 hours of the murder. On top of all of that, we have no way of knowing when that photo was actually taken (It could be from Jill’s first pregnancy!) or when the Dillards’ friend was murdered. Keeping Up with the Kardashians Klip: Road Trip!!!!!!

We're just gonna come right out and tell you: Kourtney Kardashian will NOT be naked on this Sunday's brand new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Sadly, this will be a departure from an earlier installment of the occasionally beloved series, during which Kardashian took all her clothes off . But just because no birthday suits will be shown, this doesn't mean no road trips will be taken. Titled “Classic Cars and Vintage Eggs,” the episode will find Kim and Kourtney forcing Khloe to take a sentimental sibling trip to Palm Springs in order to relive some of their fondest childhood memories. And it will be a blast, right? Nothing of interest will come of it, right? HA! Wrong! As the following trailer depicts, the sisters will run into a bit of car trouble while out and about on their vacation, perhaps growing to regret the classic car they brought along for the trip. Elsewhere on this episode, Rob Kardashian will actually meet with a life coach to try and save his relationship with Blac Chyna… while Kris will receive an outrageous proposition from a royal family. Jill Duggar Reveals Friend’s Shocking Murder, Prompts Safety Concerns From Fans

Back in February,  Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard returned to El Salvador to continue performing missionary work in the one of the Central American nation’s poorest villages. It wasn’t Jill and Derick’s first time taking such a trip, but this time around, Jill is pregnant with her second child , and the couple is traveling with their young son Israel Dillard in tow. As a result, many fans chided the Dillards for putting themselves and their son in danger – and that chorus of criticism will likely grow louder in the wake of a stunning new revelation from Jill: Taking to her family’s official website yesterday, Jill informed fans that she and Derick are currently mourning the loss of a close friend. A friend who was recently murdered in one of El Salvador’s crime-plagued slums. “We received a phone call on Monday from a friend here in Central America informing us that one of our other good friends (a fellow Christian) had been murdered the day before and that his family had found his body down by the river earlier that morning,” Jill wrote Jill didn’t offer many specifics, but it seems the friend was a native of El Salvador, whom she and Derick had become close with in recent weeks. “Even though we had spoke [sic] with our friend and his family about the realities of the dangers here, and especially in their area right now, we were shocked when we learned of his kidnap and murder,” Jill revealed. She added: “We’ve had them into our home three times in the past couple weeks!” Jill went on to report that Derick attended the unnamed friend’s funeral, while she stayed home in stunned disbelief: “After our regular church service last night, Derick was able to attend the funeral service with some people from church while Israel and I (Jill) stayed back at the house,” Jill wrote. “Typically funerals are held in a family member’s home and last several hours into the night. “Our friend’s funeral was held in their area and Derick and some men from church were able to share some words of encouragement with the family and guests. We have cried and continue to grieve the loss of our dear friend. ” Since the time of the Dillards’ first mission trip, fans have expressed concerns about the family’s safety. Jill has written about safety issues in the past, and many have pointed out that life in El Salvador seems to have had a negative impact on  Derick’s health .  But Jill has given no indication that she and Derick are planning to return to the States ahead of schedule. Jill Duggar: Did She Just Reveal Her Unborn Baby’s Name?

It’s been four months since we first learned that Jill Duggar is pregnant with her second child , and while she’s not quite as tight-lipped about her expanding family as her sister, Jessa Duggar, Jill hasn’t offered fans many updates in recent weeks. Granted, part of the reason for that is the fact that she and her son and husband are currently back in South America performing missionary work, and Internet connections are reportedly hard to come by in their village. Even so, it seems that Jill is occasionally able to login and fill fans in on the status of her forthcoming bundle of joy. Jill posted a lengthy blog post to her family’s official website yesterday, and she ended with a surprising reveal. She started with the sad news that the grandfather of her husband, Derick Dillard, passed away last week. Jill thanked fans for their support and explained that while the Dillards are enduring a difficult time, there’s a good deal of joy on the horizon: “Although the past few days have brought sadness to our hearts, we’ve also had reason to celebrate, since Israel turned 2 years old just a few days ago!” Jill wrote. She went on to offer fans an insight into her pregnancy as she approaches her third trimester: “Little ‘Samuelito’ (as the locals call him) sometimes wakes mommy up at night now with his active kicking,” Jill wrote. “We look forward to returning home soon to prepare for the birth (before we can’t fly anymore!).” The “Samuelito” tidbit has been interpreted by some fans as Jill’s way of revealing that she’s planning on naming her baby Samuel. It’s a tad traditional for a Duggar baby name, but it’s in keeping with Jill and Derick’s habit of choosing names that reflect their faith. Their first child, Israel Dillard , was named in commemoration of of the Christian holy land and the country where Derick performed his earliest missionary work. It may seem like a casual way to make such a big reveal, but Jill isn’t as secretive as other members of her family. Jill Duggar Criticized For Sharing Photo of Bruised Baby Israel

Despite their best efforts, it seems there’s nothing the Duggar family can do to avoid controversy this year.  Obviously, the Josh Duggar sex scandals are still fresh in the minds of many former fans, but lately Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, have been drawing almost as much criticism. The latest dust-up concerns the above photo that was posted to the Duggar family’s official Facebook page last week. As you can see, baby Israel appears to be sporting a small bruise above his eye, and Duggar fans are pouncing on the opportunity to point out what they see as further evidence of Jill and Derick’s negligent parenting.  Obviously, kids bump and bruise themselves all the time, and this shouldn’t really be a big deal on its own, but with the response she’s been getting from her photos lately, you’d think Jill would know enough to just take a break from social media for a while.  Last month, Jill posted a photo of Israel in which he appeared to be sporting a different facial bruise.  Followers attacked her both for the injury and for the fact that he was seated in front of non-baby-proofed electrical outlet. Prior to that, Jill shared a photo that prompted Duggar fans to launch a series of bizarre conspiracy theories regarding Derick Dillard’s changing appearance . Really the only thing Jill can do now is step away from Instagram and Facebook until this trend of criticizing her every move dies down. Is it fair? Kim Kardashian: PISSED About Latest Nude Photos!

Even though nude photos of Kim Kardashian are pretty much everywhere on the Internet, the reality star star still likes to exercise control over where and when she shows off her bits. So it makes sense that Kim is reportedly royally pissed about photos obtained by some paparazzi who allegedly snapped some naked pics of her while she was skinny-dipping in her backyard pool. Sources say the paps – who were working for LA-based photo agency X17 – flew over the Kardashian-Wests’ house in Hidden Hills, CA and took photos from a helicopter. Obviously, that’s not kosher from a legal standpoint, and insiders say X17 violated the law a second time when they attempted to sell the pics to a number of tabloids and websites. Earlier today, Kim’s high-powered attorney Marty Singer fired off a letter to the company, and the pics were removed from the X17 website moments ago. That may be too little, too late to save them legal action, however, as insiders say Kim is furious  over the violation of her privacy. She’s reportedly told friends that the situation is particularly infuriating, as she wasn’t even naked in the photos, but was actually wearing a blue bikini. Obviously, Kim got famous from a sex tape , and she’s posed nude for dozens of magazines and photographers over the years, so it may not seem like some candid bikini pics would be such a big deal. However, it’s important to remember that the paparazzi are bound by strict laws when it comes to photographing people on private property. In Kim’s case, they’re not only stealing photos; they’re threatening her livelihood, as well. Sure,  Kim shows off her boobs on an almost daily basis, but as they say, when you’re good at something, never do it for free.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Leave U.S. For Missionary Work: See the Farewell Pic!

Well, that was fast. Jill Duggar, her husband Derick Dillard, and their baby son, Israel David, boarded a plane on Sunday, taking them to their new home abroad. Jill’s younger sister Jessa Duggar posted a sweet photo via Instagram of the threesome heading off for missionary work in parts unknown … “So excited for @jillmdillard & @derickdillard!” Jessa captioned the pic. “They’ve been praying about and working towards this transition.” The parents of baby Israel Dillard are “excited to finally be heading to the mission field! Please continue to pray for them,” Jessa adds. “Be sure to check out their blog at www.dillardfamily (dot) com. ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’ Mark 16:15.” Nice plug there, Jess. The duo announced their intention to travel to an undisclosed location for a lengthy mission trip late last month via their personal blog. As we also reported, Jill and Derick founded their own ministry , or at least filed the necessary documents to make that their occupation. The couple wrote: “It has always been our goal that Jesus Christ might be glorified as we serve others through family ministry, by whatever means that might be.” “We have a deep love and care for all of the world and [a passion for all] nations, as many have even seen in the early stages of our relationship.” “Our hope is that all peoples of the world would come to repentance and put their hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ.” The family of three did not note how long they would be gone, or where, but said it would be “longer than the typical short-term mission trip.” Who knew the photo of Duggar kissing Dillard with their baby boy looking on turned out to be their kiss goodbye … to America at least. Their departure comes after a period of turmoil for the 19 Kids and Counting stars after the Josh Duggar molestation scandal broke. Jill and Jessa both came forward as victims of Josh when he was a teenager; two other sisters and one babysitter were also molested. We wish them the best, wherever they may go, as we relive some of the Dillards’ sweetest moments in the galleries above and below.
