Neither. Adele did! The results are finally in and 2011′s World Wide Year-End chart is available for all to see. The figures are based on the album sales made within the year – even if the album, itself, wasn’t released then. Holding the #1 spot is Adele , whose 21 album sold 15.3 million copies. (She also holds the #7 spot with her 19 album – despite it being released three years ago – with 2.8 million copies.) Lady Gaga technically nabbed the #2 spot, but she is still very far behind Adele in sales; her Born This Way album sold 5.4 million copies. Rihanna sits pretty at the #5 spot with her LOUD album selling 3.4 million copies. Beyonce , however, just made the cut. After much speculation, Nicki Minaj has announced the release date for her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded . The sophomore album from YMCMB’s head barb in charge, is slated to be released on Valentine’s Day 2012! “Pink Friday : ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentines Day, 2012. Jay-z’s BFF Chris Martin who recently called Camel “sweet” is now jokingly saying that his wife Gwyneth Paltrow is his beard: The Coldplay front-man – who has long been reluctant to talk about his relationship with the Oscar-winning actress, with who he has children Apple, seven and Moses, five – admitted he does not like to discuss Gwyneth while on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ but joked he is secretly gay and uses her as his “beard”, a term used where a woman pretends to be married to a man because he is hiding his sexuality. Ellen said: “You have had a great relationship and two precious kids. And we love Gwyneth. She’s been here many times,” to which British-born Chris responded: “She’s been a great beard for me now, for 10 years.” Ellen added: “Is that right? Fortunately, he’s got his trusty sidekick Watson (Jude Law) and Adler (Rachel McAdams) along for the ride. The task at hand? Only thwarting the foremost criminal mind in all of Europe, Dr. Moriarty. The stakes? All of Western civilization, pretty much. No pressure. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Trailer It appears that eveningwear is donned, witty lines are exchanged, plot twists are undertaken and stuff blows up, making for an enjoyable cinematic ride. Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips, who have been together more than eight years, tied the knot on Tuesday before an intimate group of family and friends. The wedding took place in the Irish countryside, their rep confirms to People . In a nod to Masterson’s Irish heritage, the couple had a formal wedding at a private castle, the picturesque setting of Tipperary serving as their backdrop. Masterson proposed to Phillips, his co-star in several films, in 2009 . For you celebrity fashion followers, Bijou Phillips, 31, wore a custom Zac Posen gown and Masterson, 35, chose to wear Albert Hammond Jr. for Confederacy. The groom’s brother Chris Masterson served as best man and guests included actors Ben Foster, Mike Pena and Ethan Suplee and artist Gottfried Helnwein. Congratulations to the newlyweds! Chris Brown Leads List of BET Hip Hop Award Winners

It’s good to be Chris Brown right now. Team Breezy has his back. Karrueche Tran is not pregnant. Even Rihanna says she’s a fan. And the BET Hip Hop Awards just bestowed three honors upon him. Most notably, Chris won Best Hip-Hop Video for “Look at Me Now.” Brown was on tour and not present, but Tweeted: “Thank you BET but most of all TeamBreezy!” The show, hosted by Mike Epps and MC’d by Da Brat (yep, she’s still around) opened up with a performance by T.I. (no word if the party bus took him there). Wiz Khalifa, Heavy D and Tyrese, Rick Ross and the Maybach Music Group, Big Sean and even DMX alongside Swizz Beatz hit the stage and rocked the crowd. Lupe Fiasco also took the mic and gave a political performance (big surprise) with a mysteriously masked female vocalist who turned out to be … Erykah Badu.
