Jay Rock’s ‘Redemption’ Album Is Out Now [STREAM]

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Jay Rock has not enjoyed the same level of fanfare in comparison with his Top Dawg Entertainment labelmates, but his third studio album should change things greatly for him. The Watts MC steps up to the plate with Redemption , featuring Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Future, and more. Redemption features production from Mike WilLL Made It, Hit-Boy, Boi-1Da, Sounwave, Jake One and more. The album opens with “The Bloodiest” and shows Rock in top form with his signature aggressive style. Rock taps Brent Faiyaz for vocal assistance on “For What It’s Worth” and Hykeem Cater gives Rock a heater of a track for “Knock It Off” that serves as one of the album’s early highlights. Pops and Crooklin provide the backdrop for “OSOM” featuring J. Cole. Rock goes into autobiographical mode while sharing his rise to fame while struggling with his ties to the streets. Cole gives another one of his solid performances, mirroring Rock’s somber tale of battling with the pressures of being a rap star. Say it ain’t so! Heidi Klum and Seal are divorcing after six years of marriage.The couple will file divorce papers in the LA County Superior Court early next week, TMZ reports. Heidi will cite “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce. They were last seen together on December 27, with Heidi tweeting a picture of her and her husband smiling against the backdrop of mountains in Aspen, Colorado. The couple got married on May 10, 2005 and have 3 biological kids. Seal adopted Heidi’s eldest daughter from a prior relationship. Heidi and Seal are famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary in a lavish ceremony. In 2010, Seal gushed about the tradition: ‘Each year, Heidi and I get remarried,’ he said. We should’ve known something was up when Heidi went solo to this year’s Golden Globes. This is one couple we thought would last! REVIEW: Dane Cook Is the Most Sympathetic Presence in Answers to Nothing, Which Tells You a Lot

Movies with multiple intersecting storylines aren’t exclusive to Los Angeles, but it’s a city for which they seem ideally suited, perhaps because it’s one in which incidental contact with the lives of strangers is less common and therefore more weighted with meaning. (Or maybe it’s just that L.A. has such an abundance of screenwriters sitting in coffee shops projecting potential narratives on passers-by.) Out of disparate threads we’re meant to draw common themes or emotional resonances, from Crash ‘s “everyone’s a little bit racist” to Magnolia ‘s ideas about loneliness and coming to terms with the past. Answers to Nothing , written and directed by Matthew Leutwyler ( Dead & Breakfast ), follows a group of linked lost souls navigating personal obstacles against the backdrop of a missing neighborhood girl, as they all come to discover that it’s OK to be an awful person, as long as you don’t tell anyone about it.

New Sherlock Holmes Trailer: Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law & Rachel McAdams Return!

Seeing everything is Sherlock Holmes’ curse. So the titular character played by Robert Downey, Jr., tells us in the new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows . Fortunately, he’s got his trusty sidekick Watson (Jude Law) and Adler (Rachel McAdams) along for the ride. The task at hand? Only thwarting the foremost criminal mind in all of Europe, Dr. Moriarty. The stakes? All of Western civilization, pretty much. No pressure. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Trailer It appears that eveningwear is donned, witty lines are exchanged, plot twists are undertaken and stuff blows up, making for an enjoyable cinematic ride. Bijou Phillips and Danny Masterson: Married!

Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips, who have been together more than eight years, tied the knot on Tuesday before an intimate group of family and friends. The wedding took place in the Irish countryside, their rep confirms to People . In a nod to Masterson’s Irish heritage, the couple had a formal wedding at a private castle, the picturesque setting of Tipperary serving as their backdrop. Masterson proposed to Phillips, his co-star in several films, in 2009 . For you celebrity fashion followers, Bijou Phillips, 31, wore a custom Zac Posen gown and Masterson, 35, chose to wear Albert Hammond Jr. for Confederacy. The groom’s brother Chris Masterson served as best man and guests included actors Ben Foster, Mike Pena and Ethan Suplee and artist Gottfried Helnwein. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
