Confirms Nixon’s rep to People : “On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.” Nixon – who has two children from a previous relationship and one with Marinoni, an education activist – created a stir earlier this year when she said homosexuality is a choice . In typical reality show fashion, we already knew about Kody Brown’s 17th child being born well before the episode aired, but Sunday we got a behind-the-scenes look. The emotions leading up to Robyn’s delivery of son Solomon were wide-ranging, including those of Kody’s first three wives, Meri, Christine and Janelle. How did the original three take it? What else went down? At lunch, Robyn says she’s nervous about how Kody feels about another child. Meri, Christine and Janelle reassure her that “Kody’s great” and that she’s going to feel “relieved.” Just what one wants to feel when one’s spouse cares. Relief. Robyn tells the wives that they are the reason Kody is so great. Heartfelt? Most likely. Politically savvy comment? Absolutely. You gotta get in good right now. Christine may be coming around as a result, too. Making peace with Robyn, she admits, “Being jealous of her, what it really did, it made her feel like she wasn’t welcome. That I didn’t want her as a sister wife.” “I welcome Solomon as my son and I promise to be better,” Christine adds, while Janelle is just sort of excited. Excited, but not get-up-at-all-hours excited. Meri observes, “It’ll be fun to have Solomon, but it’ll be very different than if it were my own.” Ya think, Meri? She and Robyn have become very close, though. She says she always wanted to feel that deep kind of connection with a sister wife and Robyn was the first to provide that. Oh, snap, Christine and Janelle. After the due date comes and goes (by two weeks), Robyn goes into labor, at home, and gives birth, at home. This happened on October 25, so it’s pretty timely. Meri came over to say, “Good luck! Happy pushing!” Read: I’m glad it’s not me! A few hours later and voila, Kody and Robyn welcomed their first child together. “I was impressed,” Kody said. “Here’s our dream come true.” Wonderful. Perhaps the most startling moment of the night, in a good way, came when Robyn said she needed to talk to Meri alone. But not to stir up drama. “I want to know if you want me to be your surrogate,” she says. Meri can’t bear children, so this is one incredible offer … from the woman also married to her husband. Robyn is genuine in her offer, and Meri is clearly moved. In this family-themed episode, the other 16 Brown children talked about the move from Utah to Vegas. It’s going well, for the most part. Parents, this is what happens when you don’t discipline your kids. They grow up to commit violent acts just because they can’t get a cheeseburger at 3 a.m. When Shanaya Edgell arrived early yesterday morning at a McDonald’s in Janesville, Wisconsin, she was expecting to order from the fast food joint’s regular menu–Big Macs, french fries, Chicken McNuggets, and the like. Except it was around 3 AM and the restaurant had already switched over to its breakfast menu–hash browns, Egg McMuffins, hotcakes, and the like. This enraged Edgell, according to Janesville Police Department officers, since she wanted a cheeseburger. The 22-year-old–for some unexplained reason–turned on her boyfriend, biting him on the arm and tearing off his shirt. Darrell Page, 40, explained to a cop that Edgell “wanted a burger from McDonald’s,” so they drove to the restaurant–only to discover at the drive-thru window that the eatery “had stopped serving hamburgers and was now only serving breakfast.” Edgell, he added, “got upset because she did not want breakfast and only wanted a cheeseburger.” After driving away, Edgell apparently changed her mind, and directed Page to “return to McDonald’s so that she could get breakfast,” according to a misdemeanor criminal complaint filed in Circuit Court. At this point, Edgell allegedly began striking Page in the face and biting his right arm. Page also told police that when he pulled his car over during the assault, Edgell got out of the vehicle and climbed atop the hood to keep him from leaving. During police questioning, Edgell confirmed that she became “upset” after discovering that McDonald’s had “switched over to the breakfast menu and…she wanted to order food off the regular menu.” She reported “freaking out over this,” adding that Page was trying to calm her down over the matter of the unavailable cheeseburgers. When a cop asked why he had spotted her on the car’s roof, Edgell answered, “because I was acting crazy.” After dismounting from the vehicle, Edgell was collared for disorderly conduct. Pictured in the above mug shot, Edgell is being held in the Rock County jail in lieu of $150 bond. She is scheduled for a court appearance later this afternoon. Seriously? This time it was Kenan — not Kel — who said “I do, I do, I do, I do ooh!” Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson married model Christine Evangeline on Friday, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The 33-year-old comedian said “I do” in the Arctic Room of the George Aquarium in Atlanta, and Nick Cannon even headed south to DJ and do some MCing! “[They’re] very happy. They’ve lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends,” says a source. “She was thrilled and a beautiful bride.” The bride wore a chic silky white gown with a long trail for the ceremony, then changed into a ruffled, strapless white dress for the festivities after. “Being in the rented out aquarium made the night even more magical,” a source tells Us. “Christina loved the dolphins.” Before Thompson joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2003, he was a fan favorite on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy show All That from 1994-1999. The 27-year-old model said that “fate stepped in” when she was introduced to Ryan while doing a photo shoot in The Bahamas in February. “We ended up hanging out every minute I was able to when I wasn’t working,” says Allemand , who was soon offered a job in The Bahamas. That required her relocation to Florida – where Anderson’s pro team happens to be – in order to “be flown to the Bahamas every weekend.” Allemand, who recently designed a line a bathing suits for The G Stop, says she and the 23-year-old Anderson have been going strong. “Not only was it love at first sight but it seemed like a touch of destiny. Former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell defended her decision to walk off Piers Morgan Tonight , but also responded with a good-natured Tweet after the host took a dig at her past as a witch. “Ms O’Donnell wasn’t happy about me quizzing her re withcraft and sex. But really flipped at gay marriage Qs. Ripped mike and fled,” Piers said. “My first ever walk-out in 25 years of interviews … do you think Christine O’Donnell is going to put a witch’s curse on me now?” Piers then did the professional thing, inviting Christine back on his show to discuss the walk-off. But she respectfully declined on Twitter. “Piers, thanks for the invite. Schedule is already packed, maybe another night. No hard feelings, you cheeky bugger,” she wrote. And that’s that. The sorceress/politician told Fox News earlier today that she didn’t come on CNN to speak about those hot button issues, and wanted to discuss other topics instead … except that Piers wouldn’t STFU about sex! Saying she found Piers’ line of questioning to be “inappropriate” and “borderline creepy,” the Republican from Delaware added: “I was not there to talk about sex – and he would not stop trying to talk about sex.” For the record, gay marriage is a broader topic than just sex, but with this piece of work, we don’t expect logic to resonate, so forget it.
