Chuck — an outspoken Republican political activist — just penned an article for AmmoLand.com … titled, “Is Obama Creating a Pro-Gay Boy Scouts of America?” In the article, Norris attacks James Turley — a high ranking BSA official who recently announced his plan to “seek a change” to a Boy Scouts policy that bans gay Scouts and gay Scout leaders. 72-year-old Norris suggests Turley is only championing the cause because he’s trying to curry favor with Obama’s “pro-gay” administration. Norris talks about the Boy Scouts as epitomizing the best of America. The insinuation … that gays don’t. So gays are un-American? E L James’ next two books include another erotica tale and a YA paranormal novel. By Fallon Prinzivalli “Fifty Shades of Grey” book cover Photo: The Writer’s Coffee Shop America’s new favorite erotica author is making the switch to the young adult genre. “Fifty Shades of Grey” — originally penned as “Twilight” fan fiction — follows the sadomasochistic affair of a handsome, business tycoon named Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, the college graduate he seduces. But with a whole trilogy under her belt telling the couple’s erotic tales — the sequels entitled “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” — author E L James is setting her sights on new stories. The author told USA Today that she has two more novels stashed up her sleeve. One is another sensual tale in the vein of “Fifty Shades” and the second is a young adult paranormal novel. “I’ve got several more good ideas, but how do you follow this?” she told USA Today of “Fifty Shades.” “I’ve set the bar quite high in terms of storytelling.” The rights to the book were optioned by Universal Pictures and Focus Features, sparking a frenzy surrounding what daring actors would take on the titillating characters. With the ‘Hunger Games’ sequel more than a year away, here’s where you can catch its stars in the meantime. By Amy Wilkinson Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Lionsgate November 23, 2013, is just a year and a half away, but it might as well be a lifetime from now considering how antsy we are to feast on ” The Hunger Games ” sequel ” Catching Fire .” Progress is no doubt beginning on the follow-up (director Francis Lawrence was confirmed last week by Lionsgate), but there’s still much to be done before the film is big-screen ready for next, next Thanksgiving. In the meantime, we’ll pass the torturous days and months by gripping our Peeta pillow extra tight and gorging on the stars’ slew of interim offerings—Jennifer Lawrence and her Panem peeps are in-demand actors, after all! Here’s your guide to the actors’ upcoming projects: Jennifer Lawrence If only Lawrence could swipe Katniss’ bow and arrow for use in her horror flick ” The House at the End of the Street ,” out September 21. Lawrence plays a teen who moves next door to a home where a grisly murder took place. She befriends the surviving son and, well, things don’t go so well for her after that. Two months later, Lawrence will appear alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in the big-screen adaptation of Matthew Quick’s novel ” The Silver Linings Playbook .” She reportedly plays a widow trying to seduce Cooper’s character, who has recently been released from a mental institution. The Cooper coupling will continue with the period drama ” Serena ” (a role originally intended for Angelina Jolie), after the thriller ” Devil You Know ” makes its debut. Josh Hutcherson After bonding with Liam on the set of “The Hunger Games,” Hutcherson will star alongside the other Hemsworth brother in the November 21 release “Red Dawn,” which finds a group of teenagers trying to protect their town from invading North Korean soldiers. The baker’s son has a couple of other projects in the pipeline (neither of which have official release dates), but keep an eye out for “7 Days in Havana” and “The Forger.” Liam Hemsworth The younger Hemsworth will flex his action muscles throughout the rest of 2012 and into the new year. First up is ” AWOL ” (scheduled for release sometime this year), which follows a Vietnam soldier who defects to win back the love of his life. The film co-stars Teresa Palmer, Aimee Teegarden and Chris Lowell. If that doesn’t sound harrowing enough, Hemsworth will team up with every action star ever (read: Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris) for the splashy sequel “The Expendables 2,” out August 17. His list of in-the-works flicks also includes “Paranoia,” “Timeless” and “Arabian Nights.” Elizabeth Banks Fans won’t have to wait long to see Elizabeth Banks grace the silver screen once again. The bubbly blond dons a pregnancy belly for next week’s ” What to Expect When You’re Expecting ,” based on the iconic self-help book. (That woman loves her some adaptations, huh?) Shortly after (June 29, to be exact), Banks will portray long-lost sister to Chris Pine, who must find his secret sibling to deliver a $150,000 inheritance in the film ” People Like Us .” Woody Harrelson The word “eclectic” comes to mind when summing up Woody Harrelson’s CV — and it’s not an ill-advised adjective to describe his list of upcoming projects either. ” Seven Psychopaths ,” out in limited release November 2, follows a struggling screenwriter who gets caught up in the criminal underworld after his weird friend kidnaps a mobster’s dog. Then there’s 2013’s ” Now You See Me ,” in which a group of illusionists pull heists as part of their act and give the spoils to their audiences. (Uh, do you guys need extras?) With the success of ‘Avengers’ and ‘Hunger Games,’ the Australian brothers claim the year’s top two opening weekends. With Marvel’s “The Avengers” claiming a record-breaking $200 million in its first three days and “The Hunger Games” bowing at just over $150 million, the Australian brothers have assembled the top two opening weekends of 2012. Talk about the thunder from Down Under! Six weeks after its debut, “The Hunger Games” continues to perform well, raking in a total gross of more than $380 million. And though it will undoubtedly fall in its second weekend, the box-office experts who spoke to MTV News were bullish about the continued heroics of “The Avengers.” “I project it will become the fastest film in history to smash the $1 billion global box-office mark, doing it in about 20 days or so,” Box Office Guru editor Gitesh Pandya said. ” ‘Avengers’ just might end up becoming the highest-grossing non-James Cameron film ever.” Interestingly enough, 2012 marks the first time in which the Hemsworth brothers have had competing films at the cineplex. Chris broke onto the scene with a small part as Captain Kirk’s father in 2009’s “Star Trek,” though his most high-profile role to date is arguably as the titular, hammer-heavy Norse god of 2011’s “Thor.” Brother Liam’s entry into American cinema came courtesy of Nicholas Sparks’ 2010 romance “The Last Song,” in which he played the beau of real-life girlfriend Miley Cyrus. And there will be plenty more Hemsworth to come in 2012. Next month, Chris will continue his weapon-wielding ways in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” co-starring Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart. In November, he’ll star alongside his brother’s “Hunger Games” cohort Josh Hutcherson in the action flick “Red Dawn.” Liam also has a pair of films readied for this year: “AWOL,” a war-time drama co-starring Teresa Palmer, and “The Expendables 2,” in which he’ll go toe-to-toe with action vets Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris (just to name a few). Ready or not, and on the heels of this afternoon’s wild End of Watch spot , behold a new trailer for The Expendables 2 . It’s got more bullets than brain cells, and someone literally died in one of these explosions (or at least one like them), but who can argue with Arnold Schwarzengger quipping, “I’m back!” or Jason Statham issuing a smirking pronouncement of “man and knife”? I’m pretty sure this is the first trailer to ever give viewers PTSD — and that’s just after Sylvester Stallone’s intro. [ IGN ]

The “Die Hard” star and his model/designer wife Emma Heming-Willis welcomed baby girl Mabel Ray Willis into the world Sunday in Los Angeles. A rep for the happy new parents told People they “are overjoyed about the newest member of their family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.” This is the first child for the couple, who have been married for three years and met through mutual friends. Their 2009 ceremony was an intimate affair attended by Willis’ three daughters — Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 18 — along with ex-wife Demi Moore and her then-husband Ashton Kutcher. Since their divorce in 2000, Moore and Willis have maintained a close friendship. Willis attended Moore’s 2005 nuptials to Kutcher and they are often seen in public together with their daughters. In addition to his daddy duties, Willis will be back on the big screen in a slew of highly anticipated films. First, we’ll see him flexing his military muscle alongside the Rock in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” which opens June 29. In August, we’ll watch Willis get his action-star on in “Expendables 2,” in which he stars alongside a group of fellow action vets like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. In late September, Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will “make us think” with their time-traveling action flick “Looper.” And somewhere in between, Willis will star in his fifth film as rebel cop John McClane in “A Good Day to Die Hard,” which is currently slated for a February 14, 2013, release.
To start off, I just want to say thank you Justin. But to me, that isn’t enough. March 26th 2012 I met you and you proved to me dreams do come true. Here’s what happened. A couple days before I was told by my friend that Justin was going to be at Radio Disney to talk about his new single ‘Boyfriend’ -which is now on iTunes, go buy it! LA is like 4 hours away, but to a belieber, distance doesn’t matter. So that morning I woke up ridiculously early to head to the radio station. Once I got there I met up with my friend Jade (@LABeliebs) and we headed over. We we’re so nervous because I’ve never met Justin before, let alone been a couple feet away from him. We get to Radio Disney and made our way in, it was funny too because the people who worked there automatically knew why we were there. We got there about an hour and a half before Justin. Finally two big black SUV’s pulled up and out comes Moshe (white Kenny), Kenny, and Alfredo! I was so excited! If you know anything about me, I do love my Fredo. A couple minutes later, Justin pops out and makes his way in. By this point I’m shaking, but I kept my cool. He walks in and I stick out my arms and say, “Justin can get a picture?!” He looked at me and gave me a hug and we took a pic. After that he looked at my arm (where I have portraits of my parents) and said, “OHHHHHHH” I think he liked them! After that Justin proceeded to the other fans and I spotted Fredo! I went up to him and gave him a bag with gifts for Justin and him. I showed Fredo his first. He goes, “AWWW crabbies!” (Krabby Pattie candy) and I showed him a poem I wrote him. Then I showed him Justin’s, which was a Chuck Norris shirt and a very special letter. I told Fredo how important it was I got this to Justin. He looked at me and said, “I got you” with that adorable smile of his. Then I asked Fredo if he remembered me from the time before when I met him. I explained to him that I was the girl who took a picture with him at the Stevie Wonder Benefit Concert but I was too excited so I ended up taking a picture of his shoulder and not us! Yeah, he remembered me. Then he said, “Come here baby, let’s take another” I DIED . After we took our picture, he said he had to go because they were getting ready to start the interview and I told him I’d be waiting for them after. We waited for the interview to end. Meanwhile Vanessa was hanging out talking to us, she is beyond amazing. I love that girl. We chatted about Justin’s hair, ‘Boyfriend’, etc . She was awesome. Then the interview ended. I knew I needed to express to Justin HOW important this letter was. I didn’t want him thinking it was some “Love letter” which apparently he reads. Watch the video below and you’ll get what I’m saying. So I said, “Justin, can I ask you one more thing?” He turned to me and I said, “Pinky promise me you’ll read my letter.” Well little did Justin know I had already gave Fredo the letter to give to him. He looked at me kinda confused and said, “Pinky promise? But what if I can’t….” I wasn’t going to take NO for an answer. Which I knew Justin would recognize because he’s the same way. Determined! Eventually I told him, “Fredo has the letter!” and he looks at me and goes, “Ohh Fredo has it? Okay..” Right then and there I stuck out my pinky and looked him straight in the eyes and he locked his pinky finger on mine. We hugged one last time, but before he left to take pictures with more fans, he kept asking me about all my tattoos. He said, “How long have you been getting tattoos?“ I said, “Since I was 18, I’m actually 21.” He looked at me and said, “Thats awesome, I’m gonna get more.” That boy sure does love tattoos (Just like his daddy!). Finally he walked away but I kept talking to him lol. I even asked him to sing a little of ‘Boyfriend’. He did. It was amazing. While Justin was busy with fans, I chatted with Kenny and Moshe. I told Kenny, “You look amazing!” Justin overheard, and was like, “Ya doesn’t Kenny look good?” After I talked with them for a bit I walked over to Fredo and called him my way. He came right over. We talked about The Hunger Games, Call Me Maybe videos, etc. I swear that he has to be the sweetest guy in the world. Finally Justin made his way to the door where I was talking with Fredo and I blew Justin a kiss and he gave me a high five and then blew a kiss! My friend Jade was lucky enough to touch his hand after he kissed it! So that was our goodbye, for now at least. That was my story. To some this may just all seem silly, but to a belieber this meant the entire world. We were all so hyped, after we got in the car and blasted “Boyfriend” all the way to get some food. Since I hadn’t eaten all day, I knew I had to. We were waiting in line and I was on Twitter. All of a sudden I see “@justinbieber: @shelbaybayluvjb just read your letter. THANK YOU” My heart DROPPED. I couldn’t talk, I just ran out of the restaurant crying. Then my friend Lindsey (@lindseyaprilmay) called me. She already knew why I was freaking out. Heck, I’m still freaking out. I kept saying, “He actually read it!!! I cant believe it!!!! This stuff doesn’t happen to me!!!” We cried together a little longer and hung up. To be honest I never thought this day would come. I thought it was all to good to be true. But then I remembered what Justin always says, NEVER SAY NEVER . Miracles do happen, and that day it happened to me. There’s not words to describe the feeling I had, and still do. It still all seems like a dream. Getting Justin to read that letter was a life goal of mine, and it happened. So sorry to have missed this: Noted Newt Gingrich supporter Chuck Norris last week attempted to shore up his candidate’s standing ahead of presidential primaries in Southern states including Mississippi and Alabama, contributing his own riff on the automated telecommunications scourge known as the robocall. As you likely know, Gingrich lost. Hell, we all lost. “As my wife Jean and I watched the GOP debate and went to the website,” Norris begins, “we were trying to decide which of the candidates would be best to do head-to-head combat with President Obama. Now, I didn’t say ‘hand-to-hand combat,’ even though I think they would win there too.” Ah, yes, the hoary old “My candidate can beat up your candidate” meme. Classy. Sullivan Sylvester Stallone in “The Expendables” Photo: Lionsgate Tragedy has struck the Bulgarian set of the star-studded action sequel “The Expendables 2.” A stuntman was killed when an accident occurred involving a rubber boat and an explosion. Two stuntmen were involved in the scene, which was filming around 7 p.m. local time on Thursday night. The second man suffered serious injuries, but he is now said to be in stable condition. No information has been released yet as to the identities of the men involved in the incident. A representative from the production company behind the Sylvester Stallone -produced film, Nu Image/Millennium Films, released a statement, saying, “It is with great regret that we confirm this unfortunate accident. Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy. The filmmakers are working closely with the authorities in responding to and investigating this accident.” The accident occurred while the second unit filmed at the Ognyanovo dam in Bulgaria. None of the film’s stars were present during the incident, as the first unit was filming at a resort more than two hours away. “Expendables 2” is scheduled to hit theaters next August and stars Stallone, Jason Statham , Bruce Willis , Arnold Schwarzenegger , Chuck Norris and Jean-Claud e Van Damme . It is the sequel to the hit 2010 action film written and directed by Stallone. The sequel reunites most of the cast, while adding Simon West as director and adding Norris and Van Damme to the lineup.
