Prosecutors will recommend that Dorvilier be sentenced to 30 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 22. Prosecutors say she hid her pregnancy from her mother and sister. Anyone else digging the #FightThePower jam playing during the #Oscars credits? pic.twitter.com/rpUFTt72UV — SheKnows (@SheKnows) February 29, 2016 Public Enemy Sounds Off On The Use Of “Fight The Power” At The Oscars According to TMZ , Public Enemy isn’t too keen on The Academy using their legendary protest song “Fight The Power” as Chris Rock’s intro music . Group member Professor Griff tells us he thinks the Academy was just paying lip service to black protesters and will go right back to business as usual. Griff says Public Enemy is all about change — radical change — and the Academy’s efforts fly in the face of that. He adds, “The show can’t claim the blackness of Public Enemy’s message.” Chuck D also weighed in with a series of tweets, but he doesn’t seem as upset about it as Griff #EverybodyDoesntHateChris pic.twitter.com/gKTyuoABIM — Chuck D (@MrChuckD) February 29, 2016 He did add however… The song FightThe Power is beyond me & the crew. The point of the song is a call to making change eventually not just applauding the thought — Chuck D (@MrChuckD) February 29, 2016 I dont wanna hear about Oscars being white. Guys, memories. Amiright? This is probably the 600th post you've seen about Netflix's Fuller House , and we really appreciate you sticking around to read the end of this sentence. You're still here! Did you watch the pilot? Did it require a 4-drink minimum to hear Stephanie talk in a crap British accent? Or were you so overserved that you hope iTunes sells the most updated version of “Forever?” Whatever your mindset, the nostalgia will hit you like a wave. And like that wave, it might shoot water up your nose, which is bad. BUT, it will also engulf you in a wonderful current that sends you gliding towards the shore, which is great. 1. Never Change, Danny Ever. You are the coolest lame dad in the world. And your dedication to keeping a clean home is grossly underappreciated. 2. Whose San Francisco Is It Anyway? Talent, right? 3. Comet Reviews Stephanie’s New Glasses And it ain’t good. In fact, it made Steph feel like a loser. Man’s best friend, my a**. 4. Get A Room (Or an Attic), You Two I remember thinking this throughout the show’s entirety. Uncle Jesse was way too sexual for my pre-pubescent liking. Present day, though, I’d hit it. 5. Again With The Sexuality And to think, this scene aired on a Friday evening. When children were watching. 6. Joey Was Kinda Painful To Watch There were very few scenes involving Joey where I didn’t wish for the fast-forward option. Also, I think puppet, Mr. Woodchuck kind of resembles Andy Cohen. Student Nearly Dies From Toxic Shock After Leaving Tampon In Emily Pankhurst, a 20-year-old coed at the University of Canterbury in Kent, was in intensive care for three days and was left walking on a Zimmer frame after suffering toxic shock according to Metro UK reports: Emily, of Maidstone, Kent, said: ‘When I finally realised the tampon was in me and I pulled it out it was pure black. It was obviously coated in bacteria. ‘I wouldn’t have known what it was apart from the string. It was horrible. I immediately chucked it in the loo, I felt sick. ‘But just half an hour later my speech slurred and my skin became mottled. I started to feel faint and I was rushed to hospital by ambulance. ‘During the journey they said I was displaying all the symptoms of sepsis and so the blue lights were put on. I became an emergency case.’ At Maidstone Hospital she was transferred to intensive care. For three days 12 different types of antibiotics were intravenously fed into her. ‘I’ve never been in pain like it so was given morphine. Doctors said if I had left it any longer I would be dead. The NHS said: ‘The role of tampons in toxic shock syndrome remains unexplained. Yuck on yuck on yuck!!!!!!!!!!
You know those 911 recordings, where an angry customer calls because their favorite fast food spot is out of chicken nuggets? Well we’ve got them beat. 24-year-old Joshua James was recently arrested for chucking a live, 3 1/2 foot gator through the drive-thru window of a Royal Palm Beach Wendy’s back in October. Kylie Jenner has a sense of humor. That, or she’s insinuating something very telling about her mom and sisters. Earlier today, the youngest Jenner reposted an Instagram video depicting sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as the mean girls from, well, Mean Girls – and Kris Jenner as the “cool mom.” And guess who’s playing queen Mean Girl Regina George? Well, Kim is, natch! Kourtney appears as Gretchen Wieners and Khloe is pictured as Cady Heron. We’re not sure we agree with these two comparisons, but Kim and Kris are spot on. The video was originally posted by pop culture artist and satirist Saint Hoax, who has poked fun at the Kardashians and Jenners many times in the past. Kris and the Kardashians’ faces are superimposed onto the faces of the actors in an actual clip from the movie, and the results are pretty darn hilarious. Kylie captioned the pic by writing, “I hate the Internet lmfaoooo,” but she clearly found some humor (or reality) in it, or she wouldn’t have posted it. Watch the very chuckle-worthy clip below: I hate the Internet lmfaoooo A video posted by King Kylie (@kyliejenner) on Jan 28, 2016 at 3:47pm PST In the clip, Kim is seen shutting down her mother by saying “Please stop talking” – possibly a callback to when Kim suggested that she, and not assumed ringleader Kris, is the real family puppet master . We wonder what Kylie’s mom and sisters think of her posting this video of them. Will they see the humor in it too? View Slideshow: 19 Most Kontroversial Kardashian Pictures of All-Time
