Has Ciara been signed to L.A. Reid’s Epic Records label? Following her split from Jive Records and the failure that was her “Basic Instinct” album, we’ve been waiting for her to announce what her next move was, and we heard a while ago that it may be with L.A. Reid. Over the weekend, L.A. tweeted the subliminal message: “@Ciara will be officially #EPIC very soon! Thats my girl!” The LaFace Records co-founder and X-Factor judge is responsible for signing Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Usher, Pink and OutKast, just to name a few. Is This Usain Bolt’s Fiance?

Originally posted here:

Usain Bolt was allegedly dating “For The Love Of Ray-J” contestant Taneish “Lava” Simpson but according to a loyal HelloBeautiful reader who was allegedly invited to his engagement party at the Bellagio Club Bank in Las Vegas this weekend, he isn’t. Usain was photo’d with Teahnna Banks a lovely brown skin woman who is wearing a very- blinged out ring on her “ring finger.” Our source claims that Teahnna posted on her Facebook page that she was recently “married.” Usain, his brothers and Olympian Wallace Spearmon allegedly enjoyed around eight bottles of Hennessey and two bottles of Ciroc. Fab Or Fug? Ciara Gets Vampy With Dracula-Style Cape [PHOTOS]

Ciara rocked a vampire-esque costume in Paris yesterday while there for Fashion Week. She was attending a themed party held by former French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld and got into her “beyond the grave” character by rocking a blood-red lip and sheer Dracula-style cape. She was joined by Kanye, who wore all black, and the designer of his “Watch The Throne” album cover, Riccardo Tisci, who went all the way with a gruesome, “bloodied” mouth. Ciara’s Shitty Nip Slip of the Day

I don’t know where these shitty nipple slip pictures are from, or if they are even legit. More importantly, I don’t even know if Ciara is a chick…I just figured I’d post them cuz someone emailed me and I felt so honored to get an email that I have no choice but to do what it says…I mean that coupled with the fact that I never get nipple pics anymore and the foundation of this site was not on freedom, or ethics, or strong moral value, but on nipple slips….so I have a very special place for them in my heart and on my site….even if they suck…like these ones do.

Kanye West’s Fashion Show ‘Monumental,’ Ciara Says

‘I saw Kanye after, and I told him it was amazing,’ Ciara tells MTV News via phone from Paris Fashion Week. By James Montgomery Kanye West and Ciara at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday Photo: Antonio de Moraes Barros/ WireImage Kanye West finally unveiled his much-discussed womenswear line Saturday night (October 1) with a high-profile show at Paris Fashion Week that was as full of eye-catching designs as it was celebs. From Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour to actress Lindsay Lohan, the stars were on full display for West’s show. Minutes after ‘Ye took his bow, we spoke to Ciara , who phoned MTV News from backstage to give us her take on the collection. And, yes, she was impressed with what she saw. “It was amazing. The clothes, the feeling in the room, the energy backstage — it really feels special,” she said. “It was definitely one of the most talked-about events [of Paris Fashion Week], because it wasn’t going to be your typical show. This doesn’t happen every day, and to see someone like Kanye, who aspires to succeed in fashion, to get so much respect and cross over like this, it was monumental. It was an historic moment.” While she was amazed by the fashion community’s embracing of West, Ciara was quick to point out that she was just as struck by his designs, singling out a few favorite looks. “I loved the pants, the color-blocking and the orange, I loved the fur accessories, I loved the black dresses,” she said. “There was a lot of attitude. It was strong, sexy … I loved it. I kept seeing looks that made me think, ‘Oh my God, I want that.’ ” Just before she phoned MTV News, Ciara had a chance to speak with West backstage, congratulating him on a job well done. As she was getting ready to head out into the night (“There’s definitely an afterparty,” she laughed), she also took a moment to reflect on (and draw inspiration from) what she had just witnessed. “I saw Kanye after, and I told him it was amazing. But there was so much chaos backstage — good chaos, of course. He was excited, and it was just so much good energy,” she said. “And now, I’m walking away from this being inspired. He continues to inspire me with everything that he does. And tonight was definitely a moment.” For complete coverage of Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week debut , check out the MTV Style blog . 50% Of African-American Youth Report Pressure To Have Sex

Read the original:

A new survey of African-American youth has found that almost half report considerable pressure to have sex. The results, which were derived from the answers of 1,500 youth ages 13-21, will be featured in the October issue of ESSENCE magazine, out on newsstands today. “I was elated that Essence, a secular Black magazine, choose to even run the story along with the data,” said the founder of BlackGenocide.org Rev. Clenard Childress Jr. “The multiple images and lyrics and instruction [young African-Americans’] minds are exposed to can only result in ill advised sexual behavior.” New Book Tells Black Women:“Don’t Marry Down. Marry Out.” “The result of the pressure has resulted in Black young women getting abortions disproportionately, which accounts for the data stating (a plummeting birth rate),” he told LifeSiteNews. Released by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, the survey found that 47% of respondents, including 21% of those 13-15, said they had been pressured to go further sexually than they wanted to. Among African-American males, 54% said they felt pressured by their friends to have sex. Respondents said that they believe that the TV shows and movies they watch paint a negative picture of African-American youth. For example, 72% believe that the media sends the message that African-American females’ most important quality is their sex appeal, and 64% believe that the media sends the message that it is okay for African-American males to cheat in relationships. “Sunday’s Best” LeAndria Johnson: “My Story Is Not Like Your Story” [EXCLUSIVE]

OutKast Signing With L.A. Reid’s Epic Records

See the original post:

OutKast fans can finally rejoice! It looks like music executive L.A. Reid is making major moves at his new label home Epic Records. According to The Hollywood Reporter , legendary Atlanta duo OutKast will be signing a group deal with Reid, in addition to Atlanta’s own Ciara. The HR says: Since taking over Sony Music’s Epic Records in July, label chairman and X Factor judge L.A. Reid has been busy erasing the company’s tarnished image and rebuilding its roster, which will soon include Outkast and Ciara, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. Reid has a long history with both acts, who were originally signed to his LaFace Records (label home to a young Usher, Pink and TLC). In 1994, LaFace, which had entered into a joint venture partnership with Sony’s Arista Records in 1989, released Outkast’s debut album, Southern-playalisticadillacmuzik. Ten years later, with Reid nearing the end of his presidency at Arista, the duo’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below sold 11 million copies and won six Grammy awards. Hip-Hop fans have been yearning for a new OutKast album, so this news comes as a pleasant surprise. SOURCE Will L.A. Reid Get OutKast To Finally Drop An Album Together? L.A.
