Ailing NBA star Lamar Odom is reportedly making major strides in his recovery … literally. Late last week, he walked without assistance. The basketball star had not been able to move without the aid a walker since the day he overdosed in a Vegas brothel earlier this fall. Until Thursday, when Lamar ditched the walker and took three steps, shocking the doctors working with him on his physical therapy. Furthermore, he has a limited range of motion in his hands, but he was able to make a small, yet significant, stride in that area as well. During a recent visit from wife Khloe Kardashian, Odom reached above his head to put his hood on, which may not sound that impressive. It is, however, considering the state of the athlete’s brain function, which was perilous to say the least and still clouds his entire future. The situation has been so unsettling – or at least uncertain – that some reports have suggested we may never see him in public again . Ever. While that’s an extreme and likely unsubstantiated scenario, it underscores what a difficult road lies ahead for the 36-year-old. Fortunately, he was able to recognize a hospital staff member this week, another milestone since he couldn’t recognize family before. Whatever you think of the circumstances that put him there, these developments are welcome news to Lamar, Khloe and Liza Morales . As for what lies ahead, that remains anyone’s guess, but we’re happy to hear that there has been some progress on the medical front. Baltimore Police Sign Reads “Enjoy Your Ride, Cuz We Sure Will” After Freddie Gray died from a reported “rough ride” in a Baltimore city police van, a sign has surfaced inside another vehicle that reads “Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will.” SMFH… WBAL reports: The Baltimore City Police Department has launched an internal investigation after a WBAL-TV 11 News viewer shared four photographs of a sign inside a city police wagon. The photos show the doors of the parked police van left open. On the inside of the back door is a sign, attached or possibly stenciled on, that reads: “Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will!” The pictures were taken Tuesday near the Central District Police Station on Baltimore Street. The sign’s placement makes it clear that this is a message for people who are arrested to see after they’re put in the back of the van and the doors are shut. Police Department officials told 11 News the photos are real and they triggered an internal investigation. Baltimore City police released a statement, saying: “The nature and the posting of wording in one of our transport vehicles is both concerning and unacceptable. We have recently become aware of the wording and have begun an internal investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding its placement and to identify the person or persons responsible for its posting. This is an incident that is being taken very seriously.” The photos come as six officers are charged in connection with the death of Freddie Gray. It was not immediately known who posted the sign or when, or how it went undetected by police officials until now. Seriously??? Breaking spines is funny now??? What do YOU think about the sign???

The revelation came as the former Olympian introduced his female identity, Caitlyn, on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. The star’s daughter Casey, 34, told the publication that she did not find out her father didn’t want her until she was 13. ‘I never knew he wasn’t at my birth until I was about 13 years old and we were arguing on the phone about money,’ she told the magazine. ‘He kept saying, “You don’t know the whole story”.’I hung up the phone and was asking my mom what he was talking about until she confessed the history behind my birth.’ Bruce Jenner was married to his first wife to Chrystie Crownover from 1972 to 1981, with whom he had two children, Burton and Cassandra. But in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, Jenner recalls that the couple found out Chrystie was pregnant halfway through their divorce. Jenner brought up the idea of abortion but ‘rejected it after 30 seconds’. When Casey eventually did arrive on June 10, 1980, Jenner was in a hotel room in Kansas City, crying. ‘Under the circumstances I could not even see myself being there,’ Jenner told the mag. Natasha McKenna’s Hands Were Cuffed & Legs Shackled During Tasing As officers argue that unarmed Natasha McKenna died from “excited delirium” more questions are being asked about what really happened to the Virginia woman who was fatally tased. McKenna who was 5’3 130 pounds and mentally ill, was handcuffed and shackled when she was shot four times with a stun gun in February. She also allegedly had a mask over her face and her last words were “You promised you wouldn’t hurt me,” as six officers left her permanently incapacitated for not bending her knees to be strapped into a chair. S…M…F…H… The Washington Post reports: IT’S BEEN more than three months since a mentally ill woman, Natasha McKenna, died after she was shot four times with a Taser stun gun by a guard in the Fairfax County jail. Since her death on Feb. 8, county officials have offered repeated assurances that a full investigation is underway, and that the facts surrounding the guards’ struggle with Ms. McKenna — which was recorded in full on video — will be laid bare. To date, however, it’s remarkable how little discernible progress authorities have made in providing an accounting of the circumstances leading to her death. A new report by Human Rights Watch — “Callous and Cruel: Use of Force against Inmates with Mental Disabilities in U.S. Jails and Prisons” — documents the routine brutality exercised by guards who are untrained and ill-equipped to deal with mentally ill people, who make up enormous proportions of jail and prison populations. Jail and prison staff use “force in the absence of any emergency, and without first making serious attempts to secure the inmate’s compliance through other means,” according to the report, which details cases similar to Ms. McKenna’s, which unfolded when she resisted the guards’ attempts to remove her from her cell. In Ms. McKenna’s case, she had already been fully restrained — her hands and feet shackled — when a guard, frustrated that she would not bend her knees to be strapped into a chair, shot her repeatedly with his Taser. Ms. McKenna was not physically imposing. At the time she was shocked, she posed no threat to the guards, nor was there any risk she could flee. Taser’s user manual warns several times that repeated use of the weapon against a subject “could increase the risk of death or serious injury.” Despite that, she was shot three times in the weapon’s “drive-stun” mode, which the manual says is “for pain compliance only.” And she was shot once with the weapon’s electrical prongs, designed to incapacitate a subject. Ms. McKenna was incapacitated — permanently. She never regained consciousness after the struggle in the jail on Feb. 3 and died five days later. This news is absolutely terrible. There’s no way Natasha “crazied herself” to death, this was FAR from an accident.

Nick Gordon Targeted In Bobbi Kristina Foul Play Investigation While the rest of Bobbi Kristina’s family remains by her side hoping and praying for a miracle …cops are starting to question the circumstances that led to her being discovered face down and unresponsive in the bathtub one week ago. Via TMZ : There is an active criminal investigation underway in Georgia in the Bobbi Kristina case … it centers on possible foul play and the target is her boyfriend … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us … Bobbi Kristina had certain injuries that have piqued their interest. We do not know the nature of the injuries. Multiple sources tell TMZ there is a history of violence between Bobbi Kristina and boyfriend Nick Gordon. We’re told police are looking into a possible altercation more than an hour before Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in a bathtub. We’re told Max Lomas — the friend who discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub — arrived at around 9 AM last Saturday. He says he hung out with Nick but did not see Bobbi Kristina. He was told she was in the bedroom. Nick wandered away and Max says he didn’t pay attention to his whereabouts. The cable guy showed sometime after 10 AM and Max says he let him in — Nick was nowhere to be seen. The cable guy said he needed access to the bedroom so Max let him in and discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. He screamed for Nick, who ran in and administered CPR. We’re told Max claims Nick allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains. Cops interviewed both Max and Nick and they want to debrief Max again, but our law enforcement sources say Max’s lawyer insisted on immunity before he spoke again. We’re told as of Friday morning Max hadn’t gotten immunity or talked to cops. Our sources say Nick Gordon has also lawyered up. We could not reach Nick for comment. Wow…blood? And Nick cleaned it up? This is starting to sound VERY suspicious. Our thought and prayers remain with Bobbi Kristina’s family during this time…but we’re definitely keeping track of these new developments.
