Charlie Sheen: Engaged to Brett Rossi!

Charlie Sheen is engaged! To his porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi! Before you make the obvious jokes or roll your eyes, he swears it’s different this time! The Anger Management star “could not be a happier man” after he proposed to Rossi Saturday on their Hawaiian getaway, his publicist Jeff Ballard said. This will be the fourth wedding for the 48-year-old Sheen, whose brief first marriage, to model Donna Peele, ended in an annulment in the 1990s. He is divorced from Denise Richards (2002-2006) and Brooke Mueller (2008-2011), with whom he has quite the history (and two children apiece). Sheen announced the news in the quirky fashion his millions of Twitter followers have come to expect, referring to Rossi by her nickname “Scottie.” He says the third time is the charm with Brett Rossi, with an acknowledgement (and explanation) that he was technically married to Donna Peele: “With all due respect to Donna – that maiden Klay-Vinn was annulled. Therefore, if “three” truly is a charm; The mashup/acronym of the real CS, (Charlie & Scottie) HAS to be; “Char-M-stee…” xox c&s” No date has been set for the wedding to Rossi, who spoke of the engagement in more conventional terms, confirming to E! News, “Yes! We are engaged! ” “I was not expecting it at all,” she said. “We had a beautiful Valentine’s Day and he proposed to me early this morning after we watched the sun rise.” “He even was a gentleman and got down on one knee.” “The ring is classic and beautiful, but I don’t have any photos to share just yet. This is the happiest moment of both our lives. He’s my best friend and my soulmate.” Congratulations to the happy couple! But we gotta ask … Charlie Sheen and Brett Rossi: Will it last? Yes. Curt Schilling Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

Curt Schilling, a former Major League Baseball All-Star and World Series MVP, has been diagnosed with cancer. The ex-pitcher and current ESPN analyst released a statement yesterday that reads: “I’ve always believed life is about embracing the gifts and rising up to meet the challenges. We’ve been presented with another challenge, as I’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer. “Shonda [Schilling’s wife] and I want to send a sincere thank you and our appreciation to those who have called and sent prayers, and we ask that if you are so inclined, to keep the Schilling family in your prayers.” At the moment, Schilling has chosen not to reveal the type of cancer from which he’s suffering. Schilling played for the Phillies, Diamondbacks and Red Sox, winning three World Series titles during a 20-year playing career. He joined ESPN as a studio analyst in 2010 and was selected to be part of the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast team this season. In his statement, the respected hurler remembered a few words of wisdom he received from his father, who passed away when Schilling was 21. “My father left me with a saying that I’ve carried my entire life and tried to pass on to our kids: ‘Tough times don’t last, tough people do,’ ” he said. “Over the years in Boston, the kids at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have shown us what that means. “With my incredibly talented medical team I’m ready to try and win another big game. I’ve been so very blessed and I feel grateful for what God has allowed my family to have and experience, and I’ll embrace this fight just like the rest of them, with resolute faith and head on.”

A Colombian politician has slammed pop star Shakira for “promoting lesbianism” and instilling moral decay in her latest sexy music video with Rihanna. Marco Fidel Ramirez has called upon Colombia’s National Television Authority to ban “Can’t Remember To Forget You” clip in Shakira’s native country. The Public Option party councilor, from the capital Bogota, said the video “damages the moral character of the youth of Bogota, Colombia and Latin America.” The self-styled “defender of morals and principles” labeled the (HOT!) Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to push up their wedding date, sources confirm in the latest issue of Us Weekly. The brunette-again reality star, 33, and Yeezus rapper, 36, initially planned to get hitched in July, but are now pushing their Parisian nuptials up to May. “North will have a large role in the wedding!” one insider tells Us of the couple’s 8-month-old daughter. Another source says the two have been planning “lots of events leading up to the big day” for their guests. Kardashian and her fiance visited the City of Light several weeks ago, where they toured Versailles after dark, attended a dinner hosted by legendary designer Azzedine Alaia and tended to business. “I’m not telling where or the date, but I think it’s kind of obvious it’s in Paris,” the bride-to-be told Jimmy Kimmel on Jan. 23 of the location. West, who owns an apartment near the famed Champs-Élysées, has taken a hands-on approach while planning his upcoming wedding to the E! standout. “Kim isn’t totally pumped about a huge wedding,” one insider tells Us of the twice-divorced reality star. “But she’s going along with it.” While the rapper has been actively involved in planning various aspects of the wedding, Kardashian knows what she wants when it comes to wedding wear: “She’ll do one dress change,” a pal tells Us. We’re sure their wedding will be beautiful.

Let me start off by saying I never thought I would be able to meet Justin because money is super tight in my family, but once I found out he was coming to my city in July, I made up my mind. I had to do everything I possibly could do try and win meet and greet passes. It all started the week before the concert. All these local radio stations started coming out with contests to win meet & greet passes, so of course I entered every single contest I could. There was not one contest that I did not enter. I tried calling in to guess how many Swedish fish were in a jar, I got up EVERY SINGLE morning that whole week to listen at 7 a.m to see if I would hear my name called on the radio, sadly they didn’t call my name. I went to a screaming contest to see if I could win that, I didn’t. I even made my sister and her 2 guy friends come with me go-carting (you had to be 18 or older to race, I’m 15). I was not gonna let anything bring me down, I still had one more chance, it was BieberFever. I knew they emailed the winners the day before the concert. At around 4 o’clock I just checked my email to see if anything was there and all of a sudden I see: “CONGRATULATIONS VICTORIA!” and I flipped out. I started to scream so loudly, I started bawling my eyes out and running outside. My friend who was coming to the concert with me was over and she didn’t believe me until I showed her the e-mail. Everyone had told me, “Victoria stop trying,” “You’re not gonna win” or “You’re just like every girl who wants to meet him.” I kept thinking to myself, “Something good is going to happen,” and it did. It just goes to show NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS. I know that probably sounds beyond cheesy, but when Justin says “Never say never” he means it. Man Subjected To Triple Enema During Traffic Stop Awarded $1.6 Million via Gawker David Eckert, who was given three enemas as part of a humiliating search after a routine traffic stop last year, has received a $1.6 million settlement from a county and city in New Mexico. Lawyers from the city of Deming and Hidalgo County agreed to the settlement earlier this week. “It was medically unethical and unconstitutional,” his lawyer, Shannon Kennedy, told the Associated Press. “He feels relieved that this part is over and believes this litigation might make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.” Eckert was pulled over for failing to yield at a stop sign last January. When Eckert appeared to be “clutching his buttocks,” police called in a K-9 to the scene, despite the fact that the dog’s license expired in 2011. The dog indicated there were drugs in the car and police obtained a warrant for an anal cavity search, despite finding no other evidence of drugs in the car. The following exams were then performed on Eckert at Gila Regional Medical Center, where Eckert was taken after a first hospital refused to examine him on the grounds that such a search was “unethical.” Justice was served!
