Britney Spears Announces Vegas Show The 31-year-old singer announced on Good Morning America Tuesday morning that she will indeed be heading to Las Vegas for the next two years. Spears’ residency at the city’s Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will result in an expected 50 shows each year at an estimated $300,000 apiece. That’s a lot of cash for (not really) a ” Work Bitch .” “I’m going to definitely do the greatest hits but I’m going to have to put some of my new material in it to just keep it fresh,” Spears said on the ABC show. The much-anticipated news of the show, which will be called “Piece of Me,” comes after the release of the singer’s latest single over the weekend. The song, which is expected to be featured on Spears’ upcoming eighth studio album, made its official debut on Sunday after it was leaked online. Tickets for Spears’ “Piece of Me” show are available for purchase today and include packages in which you can meet Spears, VIP tables, and gets autographs. Man Chopped With Hatchet, Thrown In River By Pimp & Prostitutes SMH at the hookers’names being “Angel” (pictured above) and “Cinderella”.. Via NBC Philly: Two alleged prostitutes and their pimp are charged in the murder and mutilation of a Northeast Philadelphia man in a Center City apartment. Police say the women called themselves “Angel” and “Cinderella.” Philadelphia Police say three people killed a Northeast Philadelphia man, chopped up his body and tossed it into the Schuylkill River after a botched robbery. Keith Tolbert, Angel Weston and Stephenie Foulke were charged Thursday with the murder of Frank Zarzycki, police said. Zarzycki’s torso was found by fishermen near the 1300 block of Schuylkill Avenue in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. The 40-year-old’s head, arms and legs had been chopped off and were missing. Using a distinctive tattoo on Zarzycki’s upper back, investigators on Wednesday were able to identify the man who had been reported missing by family a week before. Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit Capt. James Clark said Zarzycki, who lived in the Somerton section of the city, went to Apartment 26 inside 220 South 11th Street last Monday, August 26 to have sex with prostitutes. The man allegedly began an act with Weston, 21, and Foulke, 22, in the apartment’s living room when Tolbert, 34, came in to rob Zarzycki. During the struggle, Zarzycki was beaten, tasered and then suffocated. He died as a result of the fight. Capt. Clark said investigators believe the trio panicked and dragged the man’s lifeless body to the bathroom. There, Tolbert allegedly used a hatchet to dismember Zarzycki. His torso was then placed into a bag and thrown into the river, police said. Investigators are still searching for Zarzycki’s other body parts and are leaning on the suspects to share where and how they were disposed. The trio were arrested on Saturday, before Zarzycki’s body was found, after the department’s Vice Unit held a sting at the apartment. The housing unit is listed in Tolbert’s name. Capt. Clark said the home was a known prostitution spot and that phone and computer records showed the victim had frequented the place. “My understanding is he had been there before and obviously he wasn’t robbed, but for whatever reason, this time they chose to rob him and it escalated to him being killed,” Capt. Clark said. Neighbors who live in the apartment building tell NBC10.com they saw plain clothed officers visit the same apartment last week and arrest a man and woman for alleged prostitution. NBC10 visited Zarzycki’s family in Northeast Philadelphia on Thursday, but they did not want to speak with the media. Papa was a rolling stone… Man Who Fathered 54 Children Passes Away Three daughters of an 87-year-old man who passed away recently embarked on the search of a lifetime when they took on the task of locating their other estimated 52 siblings to bring them together for their father’s memorial service. via Inquisitr Samuel Delbert Whitney, who is estimated to have fathered a total of 54 children, died last month and his entire family gathered to bid farewell to him at his funeral last weekend. Whitney, who was a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, died at the age of 87, and he is believed to have been the father to 54 children who age from 69 down to 13 years of age. The youngest of which was born when Whitney was in his mid 70s. Whitney, who ran an operating wrecking yard in south Phoenix, also worked in numerous social clubs too in the city. He has fathered so many children that no one knows exactly how many sons and daughters he has. Lexi Woods, one of his eldest, revealed that her father once revealed that she had 41 brothers and sisters, but friends have revealed that it was actually closer to 54. Marilyn Whitney, another of his daughters, praised her father, calling him a family man, but admitting, “He had a lot of umph in him I guess.” In light of his death, the three sisters worked together to locate their other siblings so that they could all reunite to celebrate the life of their stick-n-move father. Lexi, Marilyn and Sandra, who are all aged 69 and are Samuel’s oldest children, decided to organize the memorial service and then attempted to track down their siblings. However, because they didn’t know how many siblings they had or even who they were, they took drastic steps to hunt them down. They even contacted a local TV news station who aired a feature on the bizarre search also. In the end, the sisters admitted that the service was a success, and they each gathered together to celebrate their father’s life. SMH. This is crazy. According to Mail Online A Pittsburgh mother has said that she feared for her life when she was attacked by a group of teenagers in the city’s North Side on Sunday as they beat her while calling her racial slurs. Ginger Slepski said that she suffered torn shoulder ligaments in the attack by the four black teenage girls which has left the electrician mother-of-two unable to work. ‘I thought it was so animalistic,’ said Slepski to WPXI. ‘So violent. I’m afraid for these girls to get out and walk the streets.’ Police in Pittsburgh said that Slepski was attacked after one of the teens threw a bottle at her car as she was driving through the North Side of Pittsburgh. ‘I was mad. I knew they were younger,’ said Slepski. ‘I thought they were in their early 20s. I got out and said, ‘What is your problem?’ The four teens were African-American and have now been arrested by Pittsburgh police and face charges of ethnic intimidation and juvenile counts of robbery and conspiracy. The names of the suspects will not be released by police, but all are between the ages of 14 and 16. Slepski said that she tried to escape the girls when she realized she was outnumbered but one of the girls grabbed her by the hair. ‘The one punched me in the head and I was on a set of concrete steps and my head hit the concrete so hard,’ said Slepski to WPXI. ‘Then they all got on top of me and all their hands were in my hair. They kept telling each other to, ‘Kick her in the head. Kick her head in the concrete.’ The mother-of-two said that the attack was witnessed by several people, but they were too scared to help. ‘Another woman was yelling at the girls, ‘I’m calling the police!’ And it’s like it only made it worse,’ Slepski said. Eventually a man jumped in to separate the girls and Slepski and allow her to escape. ‘I do feel like it was very racially motivated and I grew up in the neighborhood,’ said the electrician. This is sad. Transgender Woman Killed In Hate Crime According to Mail Online A transgender woman in New York has died after being beaten by a group of men who attacked her and yelled gay slurs. The victim, 21-year-old Islan Nettles, died Thursday in a Harlem hospital when she was taken off life support five days following the attack. The attacker, a 20-year-old man named Paris Wilson, was arrested for assault but now that the victim has died he may face murder charges. The attack on Nettles was the latest in a spate of bias incidents this year in New York and a total of 68 have been reported so far this year, showing a significant increase from the 54 that were reported in all of last year. Nettles and a friend, another transgender woman, were out Saturday evening in Harlem when they ran into a group of men and one pounced, punching Nettles in the face, police said. The New York Post reports that the attack took place after Wilson began flirting with Nettles, before he realized she was transgendered. Once that became clear, his friends started teasing him and he proceeded to attack her. After the attack, Nettles was hospitalized, slipped into a coma and later died. The witness eventually told detectives about the anti-gay remarks- after initially leaving them out of the criminal report- and the hate crimes task force took over the investigation. Detectives are looking whether the suspect had propositioned Nettles. Upgraded charges are possible following the medical examiner’s ruling, police said. Nettle’s sister, Elana, said in an interview Friday that she and her mother were coping well so far but did not comment further. The bias attacks this year range from yelled slurs to the May killing of a 32-year-old gay man in Greenwich Village. Police stepped up patrols this summer in response. In May, police said Mark Carson, 32, was first taunted with homophobic slurs, then shot in the head in Greenwich Village, not far from the site of 1969 riots that helped give rise to the gay rights movement. A suspect was arrested on a charge of murder as a hate crime. The killing, and other bias attacks, sparked a summer protest attended by thousands. Some of the other bias incidents this summer included an assault last week where two men were attacked in Chelsea. Christine Quinn, the city’s first openly gay City Council speaker and a mayoral candidate, denounced the most recent attack. ‘An attack against one person, or one community, is an assault against all New Yorkers,’ she said in a joint statement with other council members. ‘We ask all New Yorkers to come together, to embrace our differences and to denounce hate violence.’ So he attacked her because he was embarrassed?
