Count on the city of New York to catch random acts of silliness on video. Check out this guy reciting “Ni&&as in Paris” on the NYC subway. Dude is going HAM!!! LOL!!
My name’s Trish and November 23rd was the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. My friends and I were trying so hard to get VIP passes to see Justin at the Today Show and of course we had no luck. We were so unsure if it was even worth going down there. We were devastated until we found out about THE VIEW! We had a half day of school so we decided to skip school and go down to the city at 8 am. When we first got to The View, they were done handing out passes to get in. So we decided to wait outside! We waited near the exit where all the celebrities leave. We made so many friends while waiting, it was great!. While waiting we were looking at Twitter and saw that Scrappy tweeted about how there wasn’t enough beliebers inside The View! EVERYONE in the crowd outside told him that he should come out side! About 20 minutes later Justin came out. I WAS DYING. I’ve never been so close to Justin in my life! Girls pushed down the brocades to get in front of the gate. My friends and I stayed near one of the gates. We kept screaming Justin’s name and then Kenny pointed to us telling us that Justin would come over to us next! He came over right in front of me. He touched my hand and looked me in the eyes and was like, “How are you”. I always had like a conversation planned out on what I would say to Justin when I first met him. That plan failed, the first thing I said was I LOVE YOU . After Justin left I was in SHOCK. I called all of my friends hysterically crying. We then walked to Rockefeller Center. My uncle was one of the workers there so we were hoping we would be able to somehow get close to see Justin perform! We waited downstairs and met so many people. We met all the dancers, Scooter, and Dan Kanter. While we were talking to the dancers, guess who walked right passed us? USHER! My uncle was able to get us VIP PASSES to go on the ice to watch Justin perform with Busta and Usher. This day was the best day EVER. Even though I didnt get a picture with Justin, this will be a memory I will NEVER forget. -@trishhhhhhhh Originally posted here: My name’s Trish and November 23rd was the BEST DAY OF MY…
My name is Stephanie and My Bieber Experience happened on November 23, 2011 . JUSTIN BIEBER KISSED MY HAND! I thought that meeting him which was on June 23, 2011 at Macy’s for his launch for his Someday perfume was amazing but after Justin kissing my hand…I don’t think anything can top that! On the 23rd, I had VIP passes to the Today Show so I was allowed to go in first along with a few other girls. I got down to the city around 3am and waited in the pouring rain for hours and hours until they let us in by the stage. While I was standing in line, I didn’t even notice the One Less Lonely Girl from MSG was standing right in front of me! She is so nice! Everyone was asking to take pictures with her and I was talking to her the whole time. By the time they took us in, I couldn’t look any worse from the rain! When they let me go in I was right at the edge of the stage behind one girl. We waited for like an hour because Justin was late for soundcheck and as soon as he came out everyone went crazy. The rain stopped once he came out, but by that time, everyone looked horrible. I was so excited for the show to start! All the producers came out and gave us all these accessories. I got to talk to some of the cast like Matt Lauer and Ann Curry. They were talking to me and my mom. Scooter also came out before Justin went on and he was talking to us for a little. I got to touch his hand! Finally, when the show started he sang a couple of songs like ‘Never Say Never’ and ‘Chestnuts’. I touched his hand about a million times. And he kept on looking at me. His big surprise was bringing out Usher and I got to touch his hand too! I was so close the them that I could’ve just stepped on stage if I wanted because the stage was so low. Finally, Justin sang ‘ Mistletoe ’. He came right towards me like 20 times and was basically singing right to my face. He kept putting out his hand right in front of me. At the end of the song he ran to the front and did this move and then he took my hand, held on to it for a few seconds, and at that point I could not believe my eyes, I was in complete shock, then he looked into my eyes and smiled, and then HE KISSED IT!!!! I couldn’t believe it! There was about 1000 hands reaching out to his and he took mine! I was freaking out! My heart was pounding! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. There was 6,000-7,000 people there and I was basically the luckiest girl there. Justin kissing your hand is like a once in a lifetime thing! And his lips are SO soft. Unfortunately..when he kissed my hand, the cameras on tv zoomed out while he did it. Just my luck. You see him bend down to kiss me but you don’t actually see the kiss. I was so upset because NO ONE has a video or picture anywhere. I saw every picture of Justin from the event online, but they don’t have one shot of him kissing me! The video I posted on Youtube is the only video there is for it. After Justin kissed my hand, I was freaking out! I was hysterical crying, my mom even started to cry because she was so happy for me. All the girls around me were starring at me, so many people were coming over to me, girls even asked if they can touch my hand. I was like absolutely not! When Justin kissed my hand, I was wearing a Tiffany ring and he touched it. So I put the ring on my necklace and I’ve been wearing it everyday ever since. You can watch the video when he kissed my hand that I took here . I’ll never forget that day! It was the best day of my entire life! DREAM BIG AND NEVER SAY NEVER! DREAMS DO COME TRUE! -@BieberTeamOfNY More: My name is Stephanie and My Bieber Experience happened on…
MC began dominating Atlanta airwaves this summer with the help of big names like T.I. — vote in our Hottest poll now! By Steven Roberts Future Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News A few months ago, if you didn’t live in or near Atlanta, you would be hard-pressed to know who Future was. However, if you did live in or near Atlanta, you be hard-pressed not to hear one of his songs on the radio every five minutes with “Magic,” “Ain’t No Way Around It,” “Go Harder” and “Never Been This High,” to name a few. Now, he’s getting national recognition as a contender for MTV News’ Hottest Breakthrough MC . Future was the hook man on YC ‘s “Racks,” which was probably the most infectious track of the first part of this year. However, the rest of the country got the memo in early July when Drake hopped on a remix of the ATL-ien’s “Tony Montana.” The song features Future rhyming in a faux accent as if he were the beloved upstart Cuban drug lord. Drizzy not only adds a verse, but he seemingly adds his stamp of approval to what Future has been building. While their relationship seems to have soured , it hasn’t stopped Future from spreading his name. The MC dropped a number of mixtapes this year (including Dirty Sprite, True Story, Streetz Calling and Free Bricks with Gucci Mane), which helped him build his base and dominate the ATL airwaves. Even Atlanta stalwarts like Gucci, Young Jeezy, T.I. and Big Boi jumped on tracks with the Astronaut Kid to help maintain their own buzz in the city. At the same time, their co-signs helped him get nationwide attention. Future also comes from a sort of hip-hop royalty. He is the cousin of Organized Noize’s Rico Wade. Organized Noize have produced tracks for the likes of Outkast, Ludacris and TLC. It’s a part of Atlanta’s iconic Dungeon Family, making Future a second-generation Dungeon Family member. While their members are known for their lyrical prowess, few people would put Future in their weight class. But he promised his mixtapes weren’t a reflection of what fans could expect on his debut album, Pluto. Only time will tell how bright his future truly is. Hottest Breakthrough MCs was established by MTV News in 2010 as a fan-driven initiative that spotlights, celebrates and cultivates new talent. MTV News chose a pool of young rappers and urged fans to vote for their favorite. When it was all said and done, Wiz Khalifa emerged as the Hottest Breakthrough of last year. The competition was tough, but the Taylor Gang General beat out runner-up Nicki Minaj, ATL group Travis Porter, Diggy Simmons and J. Cole. This year, you can vote for Future (or your favorite up-and-comer) over at RapFix.MTV.com , and be sure to check back for daily updates and poll results. Each day, we’ll spotlight a new Hottest Breakthrough MC before we conclude Tuesday (December 13) when the polls close at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC will be revealed during Wednesday’s “RapFix Live,” during which the winner will appear as our in-studio guest. There will also be a special announcement about MTV News’ upcoming Hottest MCs in the Game list and debate. To be considered a Hottest Breakthrough MC, an artist cannot have released a major-label full-length album. Finalists from 2010’s Hottest Breakthrough MCs poll will not be eligible for 2011 consideration, so unfortunately, Diggy Simmons and Travis Porter won’t be part of this conversation. Who do you think should be 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC? Share your picks in the comments! Stick with MTV News as we profile the 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MCs before announcing the winner Wednesday on “RapFix Live” — vote now! Pop star Britney Spears gave a free outdoor concert Sunday in Mexico City. The singer’s Femme Fatale arrived South of the Border for a ticketed show at Foro Sol stadium Saturday night, then continued with a free concert at the Monument to the Revolution in the city center last night. The event drew an estimated 50,000 fans. Here’s a clip of Britney, who just turned 30 Friday, performing: Britney Spears Performs in Mexico Mexico City’s leftist leaders have made large-scale public parties a populist hallmark of governments in recent years, arguing that many residents of the city are unable to pay exorbitant ticket prices for concerts or for vacations outside the city. The capital sets up landlocked “beaches” featuring sand and pools during the warmer months, and an ice rink in the holiday season. Both initiatives have proved popular. It is unclear how they scored a name as big as Britney Spears to perform at such an event, or if any money was paid to the singer, but it was 100% free for the public.
My name is Nicole and I have met Justin Bieber twice. The first time was on November 26th 2010.I heard about Justin’s book signing for First Step to Forever in NYC and I wanted to go but I had to convince my dad to take my friend and I. This would mean getting no sleep after Thanksgiving and driving me to the city at like 3:30am. After a lot of convincing, I finally got a “Well I guess so.” (I secretly think hes in love with Justin too) We got to the city at about 4am and the line was up the block twice and around the corner. I thought to myself, we were never going to meet him. After about 5 hours of waiting they finally started moving the line into barricades and we were one of the last to get let in! We waited about another 9 hours and was finally let inside Barnes and Noble to buy our books. When we got upstairs, we waited a little and finally got to meet Justin. We went up to Justin said hi and took our picture. I’m on the end to the right of Justin. We then asked if we could have hugs but he said he couldn’t because he was sick. We said goodbye and walked out side the area where I saw Kenny! . Even though it was so short, it was one of the best days of my life. The second time I met Justin was on November 17th 2011. My dad called me into the garage and said, “Your uncle has to ask you something but you’re not aloud to say anything to anyone.” I said okay and he put my uncle on the phone. He than asked if I wanted to meet Justin Bieber on Thursday at his job and of course I freaked out and said YES! I never thought I would have the chance to meet him by luck after I waited 15 hours the first time! He than said he was going to be at Hot97 in his building but no one knew he was going to be there and if I said anything, it wouldn’t happen. I then found out they needed to sneak him into the building and my uncle would only help them if Justin would meet my cousin and I. That day I got up early and went to work with my uncle. We waited in his office until we were told we could go wait upstairs. We saw Justin, Kenny, Alfredo and Scooter all come in and go into the studio . My cousin and I were the only 2 fans and then there were also a few workers from the station. We waited for Justin to do his interview and the lady told me to come stand by the door and I got to watch Justin do his freestyle rap! I saw Scooter go back into the room and said hi but i don’t think he heard me. A little while after, Justin came out and we were able to take a picture with him. We said hi to each other and he gave me a hug and he noticed my cousin standing on the side of me and said, “Come here honey come stand on this side” as she just stared at him, all starstruck he then guided her to the other side. Justin took a picture with a few other people and was rushed out. My uncle, cousin and I followed him out to the elevator but he was too fast. I got to said Hi to Alfredo and he said it was nice meeting me! We went where his car was and got to see him leave and get him to sign our ‘Under the Mistletoe’ CD! This was the best experience ever and it would be possible without my uncle! I was truly lucky to be one of the only people to meet him there. Thank you so much Justin for taking the time to meet me that day, it was such an amazing experience! I love you so much and are proud to say I will always be a Belieber! -@mjc_143 More: My name is Nicole and I have met Justin Bieber twice. The first…
