As he went through radiation treatment for thyroid cancer, Christina began a struggle of her own to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization and suffered a miscarriage in 2014. Eventually, she gave birth to son Brayden – and then returned to work just four weeks later. “I was overwhelmed. The tension between me and Tarek was high,” El Moussa told People last month, adding in the cover story interview: “We weren’t able to properly communicate anymore. It got to the point where we weren’t even driving to set together.” Arguments ensued and the couple separated last May. The divorce filing took place in December, with Christina continuing to make news ever since via a handful of interviews, social media photos and rumors about her love life. Just a few days ago, for instance, Christina was spotted at a professional hockey game because she may be boning an Anaheim Ducks player named Nate Thompson.
