We feel obligated to tell this story, but also feel the kids do need to be in a safe environment: We want to get this exposed and while doing so perhaps it may help others that face similar issues or may not know that these issues exist. We Hope That legislation will restructure some of the laws when it comes to Teens and Adoption so this type of thing doesn’t happen to other families, although it happens quite frequently. I am the parent of a 17 year old daughter who happens to be the mother of two children. She has suffered from mental health issues since she was about 12 which has a lot to do with her being a mother at such a young age.We have been seeking help for her, my family and I are there for her and the children. Well on Jan 28th 2012 my daughter was raped at gunpoint by 4 men, Of course this devastated us. After the rape We immediately sought counseling as she began acting out and not like herself. It got so bad that we came to the conclusion that she may need In-patient care AGAIN. So I called our local mental health hospital for adolescents and was told I had to wait a couple of days until they were able to get a bed for her. On feb 9th 2012 my daughter disappeared with the children I called her constantly on her cell phone to see where they were finally she called me back and stated that she was at a good friend of hers house and asked could I come and get her, I did. We discussed her taking the kids and leaving without my consent due to her mental state and she was told not to do it again. Fast forward to feb 14th 2012 I wake up in the morning and go to my daughters room and realize that she and the children are not there, again I try calling her but get no answer. As I stated earlier due to her mental state I became worried and filed a police report…later that evening my daughter was found at the bus station getting ready to board a bus without her children. I came to pick her up while the police held her there. She tells me that she has signed adoption papers on her children and that they are gone. I was shocked but I know in the state I reside that there is a 5 day period to withdraw an adoption consent I mention it to her and she tells me that she signed the papers back on feb 9th. She told me that she had texted the adoption agency and told the coordinator that she lied about everything she told them and that she wanted her kids back of course she was told it was too late. My daughter was admitted into the hospital and upon explaining to the nurse what my daughter did she stated that after being raped my daughter was not in her right mind and that this happens to people that experience a traumatic event. I have a letter from the doctor that states she is suffering from PTSD and Major depression from being raped. She called Family Adoption Services (the adoption agency) to explain but to no avail. I called also to explain and again to no avail. They are not budging. Even though the law allows them to sign these papers and they have a child does not make them capable of making such a serious decision. These agencies give the girls money and gifts,(my daughter was given these things, which is AGAINST THE LAW, (A Class C Felony) and can be considered as “BUYING CHILDREN”. They Use very persuasive Tactics including telling them this is what they need to do to make a better life for their kids and making them feel as though since they are Teens this is the only choice. A lot of times the Teen’s parents are supporting the teen and the baby, at least in this case that’s how it is. Parents of the teens are not notified and they don’t have to be. At 16 and 17 you can’t legally sign a contract for anything EXCEPT to sign over rights to your children!!! Some laws need to be changed. They should have to check to make sure the girls are mentally competent at least. Of course these girls aren’t going to say “oh yes I have mental issues” A lot of them don’t really understand what they are doing, they don’t know how hard it is to fight the system to get your babies back. So I want to expose these agencies and maybe help someone else not have to endure what we have had to endure. Please understand that in NO WAY are we against Adoption when it is needed for children that are in NEED of a Family but, this is not the case with OUR girls. We just want them home, our family is suffering horribly due to this Shocking event. We are now forced to pay thousands of dollars in legal fee’s in an effort to bring OUR girls home. Mr. Rick L .Wyatt (the agency owner) can stop this whole thing at anytime if he had a heart and wanted to, perhaps the financial gain is much bigger than his heart. Some of these agencies receive upwards of 30,000 or more for each child they are able to gain custody of….You Do The Math. Sure my daughter may have told some untruths due to her mental condition, (which she later admitted to) but a Reputable company that cared about the well being of children as well a their clients, would have gone through great lengths to verify any information that was given to avoid trouble during the process……THEY DID NOT. The worst part is knowing that these two children age 2 and 3 were “Ripped” from their family and there is no telling what is running through their innocent minds. To whomever is reading this, when you lie down at night and say your prayers please add a small one for our family as we certainly do need and are thankful for each and every one of them! John Travolta has been sued by a masseur (male masseuse) who claims that the actor tried to have sex with him during a recent massage. According to the shocking lawsuit, Travolta saw the masseur’s ad online, and scheduled an appointment for $200 an hour. Then it all went haywire. The accuser did not know who booked the appointment, but followed instructions and met up with a black Lexus SUV, which Travolta was driving. Travolta and the masseur, who says he saw Trojan condoms in the center console, drove to the Beverly Hills Hotel and went to Travolta’s bungalow. The suit claims Travolta stripped naked , appearing semi-erect. The masseur says he told Travolta to lay down on the table and the first hour went without incident. Unfortunately, there was a second hour booked. Then, according to legal documents, the 48-year-old actor began rubbing the masseur’s leg, touched his scrotum and the shaft of his penis. The masseur claims he told the movie star that he does not have sex with his clients, but Travolta was completely undeterred … allegedly. Sunday, Carl Cox handed over the Cocoon’s “mega-structure” stage to Dutch trance-music icon Armin van Buuren , who continued his globe-spanning celebration of the 550th episode of his “A State of Trance” radio show, streaming epic, dazzling sets of some of his larger-than-life trance-music friends. Gareth Emery, ATB, Ferry Corsten, Tritonal, and Sander van Doorn were but some of the big stars who had fans packing Cocoon right up to the stage’s back gates. Earlier in the day, 2012 MTV Woodies closing act Steve Aoki set the Ultra Main Stage ablaze with his driving electro-metal house show, and a few of his recent Wonderland album collaborators helped him celebrate the occasion. Lil Jon launched the set into overdrive early, joining Aoki for “Turbulence” and more, and singers Polina, and Alyssa Palmer all hit the stage to perform alongside Aoki. Before ending his set with an inflatable boat ride across a sea of tens of thousands of fans, as he traditionally does, Aoki caked two lucky fans in the front row of the audience — with dexterity, we’d like to add, right in the face from more than seemingly 15 feet away. Sunday night marked the UMF return of dance-music king , certainly the biggest crossover brand in EDM. While one might assume that after a throttling set by Knife Party followed by excellent performances by Kaskade and Fedde Le Grand, fans might have been a bit fatigued by then. If they were, they didn’t show it. “Can I hear my party people?” Guetta asked as he took the stage. The audience roared back as he launched into Alesso’s remix of Guetta’s “Titanium.” Notably, after the French superstar began a mix of little broski Afrojack’s “Can’t Stop Me Now,” Afrojack, Lil Jon, Aoki and Italian DJ/producer (and Madonna MDNA collaborator) Benny Benassi all joined their friend onstage, causing pandemonium. They posed for a group photo for the history books, and the set continued, only with the volume lower. “Every time I play a track at Ultra, it brings me luck!” Guetta told the audience. “And I’m going to start a new electronic label, and this is the first track on the label. “It’s with Nicky Romero , and it’s called ‘Metropolis,’ ” Guetta continued, before pumping the volume back up and letting the audience take in the electro-house banger that both he and Romero have been previewing in their sets recently. Throughout his set, Guetta maintained a bouncing tide of tens of thousands of screaming fans with his typical ease. There were a couple of new stadium house tracks in addition to known crowd-pleasers like Swedish House Mafia’s “Greyhound,” with the addition of Example’s “Changed the Way You Kissed Me” vocal, and Avicii’s “Le7els,” with Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” vocal. Before ending his set with a remix of “Turn Me On,” his single with Nicki Minaj , and finally “Without You,” his Usher hit, Guetta turned down the volume again and asked folks to take out their cell phones. As a sea of small lit-up screens formed around the UMF Main Stage, he made a remark that would underscore just how big the Ultra Music Festival and electronic dance music are in 2012. “Wow! Thousands and thousands and thousands of people partying together feeling like one,” Guetta remarked. “Do you realize what’s going on in America? Many questions were answered, but which ‘Mad Men’ mysteries remain unresolved following Sunday night’s season opener? But not every question was answered — two seasons later and we still don’t know the whereabouts of Sal Romano, for one, not to mention all of the confounding baby drama circulating throughout the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce offices. Those are just some of the “Mad Men” mysteries still lingering after the season five premiere. Here are 10 more. 10. You do know Dick : So, Megan is in on Don’s big secret — some of it, at least. We know she knows his real name is Dick Whitman, and clearly she knows he has some deep-seated insecurity issues. Beyond that, what else does she know? Did Don tell her he witnessed the real Draper’s explosive death firsthand? Did he tell her about switching the dog tags while Real Don’s corpse was still warm? We’re definitely curious to know more. 9. Pete’s secret : Megan isn’t the only one in the know on Drapergate. Don’s former-rival-turned-reluctant-ally Pete Campbell is also in on the secret, having known Draper’s true identity for a few seasons now. Pete’s always been ambitious, but as we saw in the season premiere, his ambitions are at an all-time high. When will the time come when Pete uses Don’s real identity to his own advantage? Will that particular cat come out of the bag this season? 8. Pete’s other secret : The other bagged cat that eventually has to come out? Pete fathered a child with Peggy Olson. Trudy still doesn’t know about Pete’s somewhere-out-there illegitimate son, but that’s a secret that can’t possibly be contained forever. Five seasons is a long time to go without bringing that particular pot to a boil. Smart money says that Pete’s big daddy secret comes out before the year’s end. 7. When Joanie met Roger : In other baby drama news, Joan Holloway is the proud mama of Roger Sterling’s baby boy, though that too is a secret; by all other accounts, Joan’s infant son belongs to her military-serving husband Greg. But when that bundle of joy turns into a silver-haired, chain-smoking, womanizing toddler a season or two from now, people are going to put two and two together pretty quickly. Expect this one to be a major plot point throughout season five. 6. Wherefore art thou, Betty? : We understand that January Jones’ emotionally disturbed housewife has been downplayed in recent seasons, what with her divorce from Don, but sitting out of the opening two-hour episode entirely? That was a bit of a shock. What’s up with Betty Francis these days? How are things with her not-so-perfect new husband? Thankfully, this seems like one mystery that’ll get resolved before too long. 5. Wherefore art thou, Delores? : Ah, good old Lane Pryce. You can always count on that fine gentleman to wear his heart on his sleeve. This time, the detail-oriented Lane has set his sights on Delores, a woman he’s only spoken with on the phone and seen in an old photograph. Though that storyline seemed quickly and neatly wrapped up before episode’s end, that far-off look in Lane’s eye is a dead giveaway: He hasn’t given up on meeting this one, not by a long shot. The question isn’t when will they meet, but how super-awkward will their meeting be? 4. New hires : Looking at the business goings-on at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, it appears that a new employee will be hired before much longer, based on the premiere’s end. But in the racially tense 1960s, will the chauvinists and bigots of SCDP be accepting of an African-American co-worker? And what will the new hire, whoever he or she (probably she) may be, bring to the table as a character? We’re certain looking forward to meeting the latest “Mad Men” castmember when (or if) he/she finally shows up. 3. The musical fruit : We’ve already seen Peggy’s attempts at crafting creative, innovative ideas for her clients. But Heinz didn’t bite on Peggy’s elegant bean ballet, eye-fetching as it was. Will we see the better (or worse) idea that Heinz falls in love with, or will Peggy et al lose the client? And if they lose the client, well, it leaves only one question to ask … 2. When will the ship sink? : Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce barely stayed afloat during season four of “Mad Men.” Business has not improved much since then. Depending on how long the bad luck continues, can SCDP really stay open for business? Will Don and the guys have to cut back on their heavy drinking and over-the-top lifestyles to save the company? (God forbid they give their livers and lungs a break for one episode!) If the proverbial ship hits the iceberg, where will Don and the others go? A “Mad Men” without Sterling Cooper in some way, shape or form is a very different “Mad Men” indeed — but perhaps it’s a “Mad Men” we’ll see before season’s end. 1. Zooby zooby zoo : Finally, perhaps the most important lingering mystery of them all: When are we going to hear “Zou Bisou Bisou” again? C’mon Oprah, you know cotdamn well that we DGAF about your lil’ punk a$$ channel! Oprah issued a public apology on Monday for sending a controversial tweet on Sunday night. As the Grammys took many viewers over to CBS on Sunday, Oprah took to Twitter to ask people to tune into her cable network, OWN — “especially if you have a Nielsen box.” Oprah’s tweet drew criticism from followers, many of whom claimed that Oprah was “desperate” and “begging” viewers to watch her cable network. The more problematic portion of the tweet, however, was Oprah’s casual solicitation of Nielsen box owners. Oprah apologized for her tweet and said she deleted the message “at the request of Nielsen.” She added, “I intended no harm and apologize for the reference.” As Deadline Hollywood noted, Nielsen prohibits its clients from reaching out to homes with boxes in an attempt to change viewing habits and/or boost ratings. A Nielsen representative told Entertainment Weekly that the company was looking into the Sunday night incident. “In accordance with our policies and procedures, Nielsen is reviewing this incident with our clients and we may withhold, breakout and/or make a note in the ratings…We take any violation of our policy seriously and will work with clients to resolve the situation,” the Nielsen representative said. Oprah’s new show on OWN, “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” coincided with CBS’ airing of the Grammy Awards. The Sunday night episode featured the talk show queen sitting down with a Hasidic Jewish family who has never before watched television. So let us get this straight.
