Woman Puts Her “Soul” Up For Sale On eBay Wow. This lady took the term “selling your soul” LITERALLY!!!! An Albuquerque woman has something for sale on eBay that most of wouldn’t even consider selling at any price. It’s her soul. You can find just about anything for sale on eBay, from an ashtray for a 1959 DeSoto to a plaster bust of President Chester A. Arthur – but a human soul? We believe it to be a first. Bids start at $2,000 for the soul of Lori N., and so far nobody has made one. But there have been a lot of hits and that’s encouraging to Lori. She was a passenger in a car struck by a drunk driver in 2007. Lori was in a coma for three weeks, and woke up suffering from a stroke, a broken hip, broken pelvis, leg, collarbone, sternum, ribs, a collapsed lung. On top of all that she lost a breast. Lori was a freelance writer who cannot write much any more. She gets by on part-time inventory work and makes jewelry. Lori figured since her body is pretty much shot, why not market her soul? “What I’m gonna deliver is the opportunity for someone to save my soul,” Lori told KOB Eyewitness News 4. “They can save it through prayer, they can save it through conversion. They’re also gonna get a certificate detailing the white and black marks on my soul.” Sort of a spiritual Carfax – the good along with the bad. Lori admitted that her eBay ad is a cry for help. “I guess you could say that. I’m at the point now, I’m tired. I don’t feel good. I’m near the end of my rope. I really am.” Lori said she realizes her ad may offend some people’s religious beliefs, but she said she is really hoping just to make contact – maybe with somebody else’s soul. WTF??? Source

The announcement that this CNN anchor is gay was met by a horde of fans and celebrities sending their best wishes and congratulations to the reporter, all recognizing his bravery and well-reasoned statement explaining why he seemed to take so long to exit the closet. Now, while he continues to travel the globe and do his job as a journalist, Cooper has taken a moment to thank those who have reached out. “I appreciate all the nice tweets,” he Tweeted yesterday. “I am in Botswana working but want to wish everyone a great 4th of July!” We wish the very same to you, Anderson, and to every single one of our readers!
This mom is a monster ! A Kansas City woman was charged Saturday with abusing her 10-year-old daughter who weighed just 32 pounds when she was found locked in a closet that reeked of urine. The 29-year-old woman faces charges of assault and child abuse and endangerment in Jackson County Circuit Court. The Associated Press is not naming the mother to protect the child’s identity. Prosecutors are requesting that bond be set at $200,000. Officers freed the girl after responding Friday morning to a call to a child abuse hotline. Neighbors told police that they didn’t know the malnourished child taken from the public housing complex even lived there. When officers first arrived, two women told the officers that the mother had left about 20 minutes earlier with two girls, whom they described as “clean and well fed,” a Kansas City officer said in the probable cause statement. A social services worker said there should be three children at the home. But the women insisted, “No, we have lived here for several years, and she only has two daughters that stay here, and we have never seen the other girl, but we heard she stays with the father or an aunt,” the probable cause statement said. Officers ultimately made their way into the apartment, where they found a portable crib pushed up against a bedroom closet, which was tied closed. The officers asked if anyone was inside, and a child’s voice answered “yes,” the probable cause statement said. The girl told officers that her mother took her sisters out to breakfast, but she didn’t go because “she messes herself.” The girl was transported to a Children’s Mercy Hospital, where she was diagnosed with multiple skin injuries. Hospital staff said she had gained just 6 pounds since she last was at the hospital six years earlier. The girl told detectives who interviewed her at the hospital that her mother puts her in the closet “a lot,” that she doesn’t get to eat every day and that she “does not want to go back home anymore.” The girl also said she gets in trouble “because she keeps peeing on herself” and her mother will “punch her on her back real hard,” according to the probable cause statement. The mother was arrested later Friday and the two younger children were placed in protective custody. The mother told police she doesn’t let the 10-year-old leave the house because she knows the girl is malnourished and would “get in trouble if someone saw her.” The mother’s boyfriend, who is not the girl’s father and hasn’t been charged, said he hadn’t seen the girl in about a year. He said that when he asked about her, the mother told him she was with her aunt or in her room because she was in trouble. He said he never knew the mother put the girl in the closet or “he would have done something about it,” the probable cause statement said. Mike Mansur, a spokesman for the Jackson County prosecutor’s office, said the mother hasn’t said why she singled the girl out. This is just sick and sad! We hope this little girl gets placed in a home where can be properly loved and taken care of. Source

Kelly is making an official return with his 11th studio album, Write Me Back, set for release on June 26. “Share My Love,” the lead single from Write Me Back, was released in February and has already made waves on radio. The latest cut, “Feelin’ Single” will be available digitally on May 29. The new LP is a follow-up to R. Kelly’s 2010 release Love Letter, which was an ode to music from the ’50s and ’60s. Back in December, Kells shocked fans when he announced that he would be adding 32 chapters to his popular “Trapped in the Closet” series , and in March it was confirmed that the series would be aired on IFC later this year. Twenty-two chapters exist thus far in the soap opera series that begins with a one-night stand and weaves into an extended tale of sex and lies, starring Kelly’s alter ego, Sylvester. “When I first began experiencing the unknown journey of writing ‘Trapped in the Closet,’ I knew after the first chapter that I had tapped into something that was not of this earth,” R. Kelly said in a statement at the time of the IFC announcement. “Being the nosy person that I am, I more than anyone wanted to know what the second chapter would be. And now here we are at chapter 23, trapped in the million dollar question — what the hell is the package? Well, ladies and gentlemen, not only am I ready to reveal what the package is, but I have many more chapters to share.” It’s set to be a pretty eventful year for the Pied Piper.
