Awwww Diddy Says His Children Are The Best Birthday Gift He Could Ask For Music mogul and entrepreneur extraordinaire Diddy celebrated his 43rd birthday on Sunday and took to twitter to share what he said was “the best birthday present ever.” Sean “Diddy” Combs was moved to tears on his birthday when his children presented him with a song written in his honor. The rap mogul turned 43 on Sunday and to mark the milestone his stepson Quincy created a special track, which also features messages from the star’s other children. Lyrics include, “Dear Dad/ It’s your day… Well first off I wanna say that I’m thankful for this day/ It’s the day that you were given life/ And I thank god for it every night/ Wishin’ you a happy birthday.” Combs was overwhelmed by the thoughtful gift, and took to Twitter.com to share his pride. In a series of posts, he writes, “This is the best birthday present I’ve ever gotten. You gotta hear this. Quincy feat. the Combs’. B-Day Song. I can’t believe they did this! Congratulations are in order for lil Justin Dior Combs: Justin Combs, son of international music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, today announced that he has chosen to attend the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where he will be awarded a full scholarship to play football at the Division I school. The younger Combs, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound cornerback from Iona Prep, chose the Bruins over offers from Wyoming, Virginia, and Illinois, among others. After hitting the 7v7 camp circuit with the “GoonSquad” All-American 7v7 team this past spring, he quickly started to generate a buzz and secured his first Division I scholarship offer back in April. The latest Bruin commit has also been selected to play in the inaugural Marine Semper Fi All-American Game held in Phoenix, AZ January 3rd, part of college football’s Fiesta Bowl weekend. Combs, who carries a 3.75 GPA and is the Head of the African American Society at his school, will enroll in UCLA this fall and will major in Business Finance. Combs said he felt the combination of academic excellence and winning tradition at UCLA made his decision clear. JUSTIN COMBS STATEMENT: “Today I am truly blessed and thankful to accept my scholarship and give my full commitment to UCLA. Playing division I football was a life long dream of mine, and through hard work I was able to achieve it. I am a living testament that with a strong relationship with God, family, and hard work dreams do come true.” SEAN COMBS STATEMENT: “As a parent, today is one of the proudest moments of my life. This is everything a father could want for his son, for him to excel at what he loves to do and is truly passionate about. Justin is a shining example of what hard work, determination and a strong mentality can achieve. I am honored to call him my son and am happy that he is fulfilling his dream.” Wonderful! Kudos to Justin for working hard, maintaining good grades, and getting that full ride to UCLA (not like he needs it though)…Puff should certainly be proud.

“A wanna-be reality TV star turned herself in Friday night to face charges of slicing a bouncer’s face during a brawl at an upscale SoHo club, cops said. Rashidah Ali, who sells high-priced heels to celebrities and has guest spots on “Basketball Wives” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” was charged with felony assault. She is accused of slashing bouncer Joseph Wright from his hairline to his mouth during her birthday blowout at Greenhouse on Jan. 26. She turned herself in to cops last night even though she is “totally not guilty” of any wrongdoing, her publicist, Soulgee McQueen, said in an email to the Daily News. Wright, 31, said he was dragging two belligerent partygoers out of the VIP section when Ali rushed and clawed at him. He suffered a severed nerve and artery and took 50 stitches.” -NY Daily News
