Claudia Schiffer Retired Model of the Day

Here are some long model legs for those of you still stuck in 1993 remembering David Copperfield’s best trick. I have a feeling I’ve used that joke before. I have limited capacity when it comes to humor… I also have limited capacity for keeping it in my pants when I see pictures of how retired models age…I don’t know why, but it’s just porn to me. Maybe it is their superior genetics, or the comedy of seeing them struggle with aging, knowing their self-worth relies so much on their appearance, and really who fucking cares why I like anything, just look at these skinny legs.

Jenny Lewis Accompanies Jake Gyllenhaal to Golden Globes

Sorry, Taylor Swift. We hope you weren’t watching the Golden Globes last night. Just a couple weeks after he reportedly broke the singer’s heart , Jake Gyllenhaal showed up at the event with ex-girlfriend Jenny Lewis. The star, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical for Love and Other Drugs , walked the red carpet with his former fling, an actress who appeared in Troop Beverly Hills and Foxfire . That’s not an impressive resume. But, if this couple is back on, you’re looking at one impressive catch for Lewis. Look away, Taylor Swift! Just look away.

Golden Globes Reward Onscreen Nudity, Girl-on-Girl

At the Golden Globes last night, Hollywood must have finally figured out what Mr. Skin has been screaming at the top of his lungs for over a decade: Movies must always be about nudity and girl-on-girl sex. If you’re not going to put boobs in your movies, then go produce stage shows in Branson, Missouri. The Kids Are All Righ t beat out the competition for Best Musical or Comedy (including the supremely disappointing Burlesque ) because it’s full of naked knockerage and MILFtastic lesbian coupling. Likewise, Annette Benning won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy because she appeared in a movie with naked chicks and made out with Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman won Best Actress in a Drama for making out with Mila Kunis and in the hopes that it would encourage her to do more nudity in the future. It even bleeds over into the Best Actor awards. Why do you think Paul Giamatti won for Barney’s Version ? Because it has T&A. It’s simple, Highly-Weird. If you want the Golden Globes, you’d better be showing us some.

Nominated in six categories, “Social Network” won four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director for David Fincher, Best Screenplay for Aaron Sorkin and Original Score. And honored in five separate categories, Fox’s hit musical comedy collected three trophies, Best Comedy Series, Supporting Actor (Chris Colfer) and actress (Jane Lynch). Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical went to “The Kids Are All Right,” one of two awards the film won. In the major TV categories, freshman HBO series “Boardwalk Empire” won Best Drama, while the “Glee” win marked the show’s second-straight best comedy award. To begin the evening, host Ricky Gervais had a beer waiting for him on the podium and took a slug from the sudsy glass before he even opened his mouth. It was just that kind of party. “It’s going to be a night of partying and heavy drinking. Or, as Charlie Sheen calls it, breakfast,” he joked, setting the tone for a raunchy and fearless emcee performance from start to finish. Long an Oscar front-runner, Natalie Portman won Best Actress – Drama for “Black Swan” and delivered one of the show’s most memorable acceptance speeches. Jonah Hill Says ’21 Jump Street’ To Shoot In April

‘We’re really excited,’ funnyman tells MTV News of filming the project. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Jonah Hill attends the 2011 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images After spending roughly two years in development purgatory, the wheels are finally turning on Jonah Hill’s big-screen take on the ’80s TV hit “21 Jump Street,” and the funnyman couldn’t be more amped. “The ball’s very slowly rolling,” Hill laughed to MTV News on the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards red carpet on Friday night. “We’re really excited.” The “Superbad” star, who penned the script, also gave an update about the production schedule and said filming is set to kick off in a just a few months. “We’re gonna shoot April 11 in New Orleans,” Hill divulged. “I’m excited. I’ve never been to New Orleans before.” While Hill and co-star Channing Tatum are slated to head in front of the lens, he added that the entire cast hasn’t been firmed up yet. “It was really important to get the main two characters together, and then now we gotta fill out the rest of the cast,” he said. However there is one superstar cameo Hill has been gunning for since the project was green lit: Johnny Depp. “Hopefully, he does it. It would be awesome if he did it,” Hill told MTV News in November about getting the “Pirates of the Carribean” star and “Jump Street” alum, even jokingly offering an aggressive plea to directly to Depp: “Just do it, dude. Don’t be an a–hole. Just be in the movie.” Depp seems down for turning up in the flick, telling MTV News in December, “I’m in.” A Depp cameo may lend the project some authenticity, but Hill has maintained that the film version will introduce brand new characters and bear little resemblance to its small-screen predecessor. “What happens is they get caught up in the high school-ness as opposed to the police work,” Hill previously told MTV News . “And whenever they get too caught up in the high school drama, police work comes in. And whenever they get too caught up in the police work, high school drama comes in. “It’s an entirely new imagination of what ’21 Jump Street’ is,” he explained. “We’re not doing a spoof whatsoever. It will be crazy characters that are in very unreal circumstances sometimes.” Check out everything we’ve got on “21 Jump Street.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com. Mindy Kaling on The Office, Parodying Taylor Swift and Her ‘Bossy’ New Book

If there is one person that could succeed Tina Fey as Hollywood’s Wonder Woman of Comedy, it’s Mindy Kaling. The Dartmouth graduate — who plays, of course, Kelly Kapoor on The Office — is an Emmy-nominated writer, with credits on 18 episodes of the NBC series, plus the writer/director and star of the show’s spin-off web series, Subtle Sexuality . Oh, and on top of that , Kaling co-stars in the upcoming Natalie Portman rom-com No Strings Attached , is searching for directors for her own romantic comedy (co-written by fellow Office scribe Brent Forrester) and is feverishly writing her first book The Contents of My Purse for Random House. Just a few things.
