Skinheads, Neo-Nazis & Gang Bangers Protect And Serve: Racism Running Rampant In The U.S. Military

Racism In The U.S. Military They call it “rahowa” — short for racial holy war — and they are preparing for it by joining the ranks of the world’s fiercest fighting machine, the U.S. military. White racists, neo-Nazis and skinhead groups encourage followers to enlist in the Army and Marine Corps to acquire the skills to overthrow what some call the ZOG — the Zionist Occupation Government. Get in, get trained and get out to brace for the coming race war. If this scenario seems like fantasy or bluster, civil rights organizations take it as deadly serious, especially given recent events. Former U.S. Army soldier Wade Page opened fire with a 9 mm handgun at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on August 5, murdering six people and critically wounding three before killing himself during a shootout with police. The U.S. Defense Department as well has stepped up efforts to purge violent racists from its ranks, earning praise from organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, which has tracked and exposed hate groups since the 1970s. Page, who was 40, was well known in the white supremacist music scene. In the early 2000s he told academic researcher Pete Simi that he became a neo-Nazi after joining the military in 1992. Fred Lucas, who served with him, said Page openly espoused his racist views until 1998, when he was demoted from sergeant to specialist, discharged and barred from re-enlistment. Experts have identified the presence of street gang members as a more widespread problem. Even so, the Pentagon has launched three major pushes in recent decades to crack down on racist extremists. The first directive was issued in 1986, when Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger ordered military personnel to reject supremacist organizations. That failed to stop former Marine T.J. Leyden, with two-inch SS bolts tattooed above his collar, from serving from 1988 to 1991 while openly supporting neo-Nazi causes. A member of the Hammerskin Nation, a skinhead group, he said he hung a swastika from his locker, taking it down only when his commander politely asked him to ahead of inspections by the commanding general. “We’re very strict on the tattoo policy here within this recruiting station,” said Sergeant Aaron Iskenderian, head of the Army recruiting office in Fayetteville, the Army town next to Fort Bragg. Iskenderian cited the example of a young man who came in recently with a tattoo of the Confederate flag. The potential recruit also told Iskenderian he had a black girlfriend. Iskenderian sent the issue up the chain of command, and the young man was rejected. Academics who study white supremacists say proponents of the “infiltration strategy” of joining the U.S. military have adapted, telling skinheads to deceive military recruiters by letting their hair grow, avoiding or covering tattoos, and suppressing their racist views. For neo-Nazis who get past the screeners, as with the gang members, the military needs a comprehensive strategy, said Carter F. Smith, a former military investigator who is now a professor of criminal justice at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. “They are some of the most disciplined soldiers we have. They really want to learn to shoot those weapons,” Smith said. “The problem wasn’t just that we were opening the floodgates to let them in. We let them out after prosecution or when their time was up and we didn’t let the police know.” SMH at the guy telling them he had a “black girlfriend”… Thoughts on this? Source

Lupe Fiasco Explains Why He Called Obama A Terrorist And “A Great Speaker, But Kills Little Children”

Lupe Fiasco sat down to talk about his controversial viewpoints and his upcoming album, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, this week. Known to be apolitical and someone who doesn’t vote, Lupe considers himself “a stone-cold subversive”: This time, “the plot,” as Lupe calls it, is to release the album’s first installment in September and the sequel in early 2013, with several singles hitting airwaves along the way. “It’s meant to tell the great American experience, touch on my ideas, my very rough, very unfinished, unpolished thoughts and feelings about America: American history, American culture, American society, American beauty, American food. You’ll see that laced throughout the album,” he said. If the first two joints, “B!tch Bad” and “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free),” are any barometer, the rapper’s reputation for blistering social and political commentary will remain intact. No hoes, kush and rims here, thank you. If you know his music, you probably recognize him as a gifted lyricist with a wide range of beats and a penchant for material that can go a little over listeners’ heads. It’s not that he’s condescending; he wants their heads a little higher. Those who know him only through headlines and sound bites may be more familiar with his Occupy Wall Street participation or his occasional inflammatory remark — such as when he called the president “the biggest terrorist” last year. Asked to elaborate, Lupe said there was a lot of backlash to his comment — especially from a hip-hop community that generally stands behind the country’s first black president — but his barb was more directed at the Oval Office rather than any particular man who has occupied it. “I think that American presidentssss,” he said, hissing to emphasize the plural, “that position in itself, as well as American foreign policy, it has terrorism in it. CIA agents going to overthrow certain governments — they’re using terrorist tactics. They’re not going in there like, ‘Hey, you wanna have some cake?’ “ “I don’t think it’s being unpatriotic,” he said of his stance. “This nation was founded by rebels and revolutionaries, and its flags were carried across the battlefields by people who were very, very against the status quo and who questioned and criticized. I think it’s following that tradition, but I think we’re in very sensitive times.” Not only did he decline to waver on his incendiary assessment of the commander in chief, but the day after explaining the aforementioned remarks, he described Obama as “someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children,” during an interview with a Philadelphia radio station. We got to respect his stance on Politics and the fact that Lupe has stayed true to his roots since the original Food and Liquor dropped back in ’06. He touches on the striking level of violence going on in the country right now, especially amongst youth: What often seems like savagery among urban youth can often be attributed to a lack of conflict-management skills, he said, and it’s troubling how much of the violence in American cities can be traced back to base aggression and materialism. Rap isn’t solely to blame, he said, but it often reinforces many of the inner city’s most cancerous characteristics. “What’s the biggest commercial for aggression, sexuality and materialism? What gets pumped into these kids’ heads?” he asked in a veiled shot at his musical genre. “Taking someone else’s girl, which is so laissez-faire in hip-hop, will get you killed in the streets, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue when you hear it on the radio.” It’s an interesting notion, that hip-hop should have a conscience, and it’s not something you hear from within the industry, at least outside the likes of Common or Talib Kweli. Perhaps it’s just another example of how Lupe isn’t your typical rap star. This is Lupe’s fourth album and it’s set to drop September 25th. Source Images via WENN/Facebook

Obama Pot-Smoking Details Revealed in New Book

President Barack Obama’s pot-smoking past is detailed in Barack Obama: The Story , a new biography of the Commander-in-Chief by David Maraniss, who had previously revealed Obama’s early girlfriends (including Genevieve Cook ) in Vanity Fair . The President himself has been remarkably and refreshingly candid about his past drug use, but new details of Obama smoking marijuana with his buddies at Hawaii’s Punahou School are still setting the web ablaze (sorry). Maraniss writes , “When a joint was making the rounds, [Obama] often elbowed his way in, out of turn, shouted ‘Intercepted!’ and took an extra hit.” Yeah. Let’s all take a moment and let that image sink in. “But Obama’s buddies, who called themselves the “Choom Gang,” didn’t mind him messing up the rotation,” he continues. “After all, this was Hawaii.” Indeed. That’s not all. Maraniss writes that Obama was known for starting a trend called “TA,” short for “total absorption.” Use your imagination. “When you were with ‘Barry’ and pals, if you exhaled precious pakalolo (Hawaiian slang for marijuana, meaning “numbing tobacco”) instead of absorbing it fully into your lungs, you were assessed a penalty,” writes the author. “Your turn was skipped the next time the joint came around.” Maraniss also describes Obama’s technique of “roof hits” while hot-boxing cars … i.e. smoking up with all the windows closed: “When the pot was gone, they tilted their heads back and sucked in the last bit of smoke from the ceiling.” The book is one of two biographies making the rounds about Obama. The Amateur , by Edward Klein, contains this alleged Obama divorce story . Again, it’s worth noting Obama has been less than shy about his drug use in the past, writing about the topic in his memoir Dreams from My Father . “Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it,” the future president wrote in the memoir, before taking a darker tone. “Junkie. Pothead. That’s where I’d been headed: the final, fatal role of the young would-be black man. Except the highs hadn’t been about that, me trying to prove what a down brother I was. Not by them, anyway.” “I got high for just the opposite effect, something that could push questions of who I was out of my mind, something that could flatten out the landscape of my heart, blur the edges of my memory.” As Obama moved to higher stage, he’s also been forthcoming about drug use. On Bill Clinton’s absurd claim that he had once tried marijuana but “didn’t inhale,” Obama said smiling in 2007, “That was the point, wasn’t it?”

Photo of Boy Patting Obama’s Head Finally Explained

When you’re the most powerful and famous person on Earth, every photo gives way to the next in a matter of hours if not minutes. Except this one. By popular demand, it’s remained on display at his office since 2009. An “aw”-inducing photo hangs in the White House’s West Wing showing President Obama leaning over to allow a 5-year-old boy to touch his hair. The New York Times reveals the back story that led to the picture: The boy in the picture is Jacob Philadelphia of Columbia, Md. Three years ago this month, his father, Carlton, a former Marine, was leaving the White House staff after a two-year stint on the National Security Council. As departing staff members often do, Mr. Philadelphia asked for a family photograph with the Commander-in-Chief, who happily obliged. When the pictures were taken and the family was about to leave, Mr. Philadelphia told Mr. Obama that his sons each had a question …

In White Folks That Need To STFU News: “Baby Mama” Bristol Palin Talks Isht To President Obama For Listening To His Daughters’ Thoughts About Gay Marriage

This broad is trying to teach someone family values??? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit… Bristol Palin Slams President Obama For Listening To Daughters On Gay Marriage Issue Bristol Palin, one of America’s most famous political daughters, is outraged that President Obama is taking advice from his own children. The 21-year-old lashed out at the commander-in-chief, who said Malia,13, and Sasha,10, helped influence his decision to support gay marriage. “While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads,” the former Alaska governor’s daughter argued in a blog on Thursday. It was aptly titled “Hail to the Chiefs — Malia and Sasha Obama.” Palin — a single mom herself — then argued children are raised in homes where there is both a mother and a father. “In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that — as great as her friends may be — we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview.” Baby Mama Bristol then goes on to say that if Sasha and Malia were younger then… “…perhaps today’s press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox,” she wrote. “…It would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.” Who the fawk does this condescending lil beyotch think she’s talkin’ to?!?! Being that she and her child’s father aren’t together and admittedly will NEVER be together, perhaps she should have a stadium full of seats and sit the hell down somewhere. Just a thought… Source

Brandi Glanville Denied Real Housewives Regular Status Because of LeAnn Rimes?

Bravo was set to make Brandi Glanville a regular on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before she revealed her kids could not appear, reports say. Her ex, Eddie Cibrian, and his new wife LeAnn Rimes put the kibosh on that. Brandi was to graduate from ‘friend’ to full-fledged cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 3, but Bravo yanked the offer. “Bravo wanted her to have her kids on the show in order to expand story lines,” a source says of Glanville. “But Leann and Eddie wouldn’t allow it.” Eddie and LeAnn, who just marked their one-year anniversary by renewing their vows , started an affair while married to their respective spouses. They filed for divorce and married each other not long afterward. Despite the multiple photo-ops where the exes are seen smiling at the kids’ events together, there’s still plenty of tension between Eddie’s women. “Brandi didn’t expect that LeAnn and Eddie would have objections since the kids have been on the show before, but they did,” the source says. “Eddie said they did not want the children on camera. So Bravo said that Brandi would have to stay ‘friend’ and not become an official ‘housewife.’” Brandi will still be seen along with Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof, Kim and Kyle Richards, Yolanda Hadid and Camille Grammer.

Genevieve Cook, Ex-Girlfriend of President Obama, Reveals His "Sexual Warmth" in New Book

Genevieve Cook, an ex-girlfriend of President Obama, shares some intimate details about their relationship in a new book about the Commander-in-Chief. Barack Obama: The Story , by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Maraniss, is the most thorough account of the President’s life not written by Obama. Vanity Fair published excerpts Wednesday. While The Story contains no sordid, shocking tales of impropriety, it portrays Obama as extremely ambitious. Obama’s autobiography Dreams From My Father , while generally true, makes him look less calculating and motivated by his own career, in other words. Barack Obama: The Story also goes into much greater detail about his early life, including romantic relationships, such as that with Genevieve Cook. Using Obama’s writings and ex-girlfriends’ diaries, Maraniss paints a picture of Obama as an intense, conflicted and sometimes brooding intellectual. It was that intelligence that drew Cook to Obama after a chance meeting at that East Village apartment gathering, according to Maraniss’ book. The future President, who in 1983 was a recent graduate of Columbia University, began chatting up the assistant teacher at a party that Christmas. Obama apparently earned Cook’s endorsement, as they went on a date just days later and she spent that night at his tiny Manhattan apartment. While sitting on an orange beanbag chair, the two bonded over the time each spent in Indonesia as youths, then exchanged phone numbers. “I think maybe he cooked me dinner,” she wrote. “Then we went and talked in his bedroom. And then I spent the night. It all felt very inevitable.” Cook remembers that Barack Obama also used to spend Sundays in his room wearing a sarong, drinking coffee and solving crossword puzzles. She described the room as a “a mixture of smells that so strongly speak of his presence, his liveliness, his habits … running sweat, Brut spray deodorant, smoking, eating raisins, sleeping, breathing.” And while Cook wrote about Obama’s “sexual warmth,” she felt he sometimes kept her at arm’s length … and when she said “I love you,” he often responded “thank you” rather than “I love you, too.” Barack first met his future wife, First Lady Michelle Obama , in 1989. ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Trailer: Five Kick-Ass Moments

Duke goes early and so does London in the brand-new trailer for ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation,’ from ‘Never Say Never’ director Jon Chu. By Josh Wigler Dwayne Johnson in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” Photo: Paramount Crashing through the sky comes the fearful cry of Cobra, but I feel no fear at the laser-blasting terrorist organization’s coming arrival. For one, we all know the Joes have this battle in the bag. For another, there’s a second “G.I. Joe” movie heading our way in just two short months, and by the looks of it, it’s the movie that fans have always wanted. Bring on Zartan, Firefly and the rest of them, I say! Cobra Commander and his minions are out in full force in the brand-new “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” trailer that arrived Tuesday (April 24) courtesy of Machinima . Featuring an introduction from leading man Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the two-and-a-half minute trailer embraces everything we loved about that first “Retaliation” spot and ups the ante considerably. Keep reading for the five scenes from the trailer we were most excited to see. The Duke Of Hazard “Just don’t kill Duke. That’s really my only request,” MTV.com reader Adam wrote in response to the arrival of the first “Retaliation” trailer some months ago. Unfortunately, Adam, I don’t think your wish will be granted: Rumors have long been swirling about the early exit of Channing Tatum’s “Rise of Cobra” hero, and his limited appearance in the “Retaliation” trailer only fuels that fire further. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that Duke appears to have grown among the Joe crowd quite a bit since last we saw him. He’s got a strong relationship with Roadblock, so much so that he happily volunteers to babysit his fellow Joe’s little girls for a weekend. Duke might not last long in “Retaliation,” but expect his departure — however it comes — to weigh heavily on Roadblock as the film unfolds. The Country Is At War There’s only one man who could destroy G.I. Joe in one crushing move, and The Rock voted for him. Viewers well know that the president of the United States is Zartan in disguise, using his influence to push Cobra into the public eye and assert its dominance over the globe. If you thought the rise of Cobra meant the death of the former president, however, you’d be mistaken: The trailer reveals that the real president (played by “Pirates of the Caribbean” veteran Jonathan Pryce) is still alive, if not exactly well. Two Cases of Thin Mints With few allies left to turn to, Roadblock takes his surviving Joes — Flint and Lady Jaye — and teams up with the reclusive General Joe Colton, the man who started it all. The hero, played by action legend Bruce Willis, has gone from complaining about his high cholesterol to demanding Girl Scout cookies in this newest trailer. And he wonders why his blood pressure is all out of whack! London Bridge Is Falling Down “Rise of Cobra” saw the destruction of the Eiffel Tower. It looks like London’s going to undergo a similar “everything must go” sale when “Retaliation” rolls around. What, you really thought that President Zartan wanted world peace? He and the Cobra gang are behind the massive terrorist assault on the United Kingdom, and it’s going to be up to Roadblock and his pals to prevent further destruction from happening. Ninja Wrap So. Many. Ninjas. But never enough ninjas. There is no such thing, as Snake Eyes and Jinx battling an army of sword-wielding Cobra loyalists on the side of a mountain will surely tell you. Recently, Chu revealed that a nine- to ten-minute, dialogue-free ninja battle would occur in “Retaliation,” and going by the previous trailer and this latest one, it looks like this snow-covered mountain is where it’s all going down. Awesome. What do you think of the new “G.I. Joe” trailer? Sound off in the comments below! Check out everything we’ve got on ” G.I. Joe: Retaliation .” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Related Photos “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” Character Photos Cast of G.I. Chris Brown to Perform at Grammys

Chris Brown will perform at the Grammy Awards next month, E! reports . It will be his first appearance at the annual show since 2009, when … you know. The singer, whose career has rebounded nicely despite some memorable flare-ups, is up for three awards this year, so his appearance isn’t too surprising. Plans for his performance are still being worked out, so details are lacking at the moment. Meanwhile, his ex Rihanna will perform with Coldplay . Chris Brown and Rihanna have been the subject of great speculation lately, most recently after they partied together (but separately) in W. Hollywood. The two are said to be on good terms now, and even hooking up … but they kept their distance last week. Brown was there with GF Karrueche Tran. The Grammy Awards will be hosted by NCIS: LA star LL Cool J and telecast live on CBS from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday, February 12. Also set to perform are Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, the Band Perry, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and more. [Photo: WENN.com]

Rumor of a Rumer: Was Daughter Present During Demi Moore Smoking Session?

Demi Moore was sent to the hospital earlier this week due to some kind of foreign substance inhalation. That’s not in dispute. But many are now asking just who was in the presence of this actress during the incident, specifically wondering: Was 23-year old daughter Rumer Willis actually there?!? The chatter is based on the 911 call (below) placed on Demi’s behalf, during which someone in Moore’s party turns to someone else nearby and asks: “Hey, Ru. What’s the name at the gate so that we can buzz them in from here?” Willis often goes by this nickname, even using it for her Twitter handle, and other reports say she and her mother have been spending a lot of time together recently, including attendance at a party two weeks ago that featured a bizzare-behaving Moore . Listen for the” Ru” reference now: Demi Moore 911 Call
