I have loved and believed in Justin Bieber for so long….

I have loved and believed in Justin Bieber for so long. He’s made me cry from happiness and given me hope when I was completely bummed out on whatever I was going through in life. It’s not just that he’s famous and completely and utter hotty, it’s the fact that he has so much in him that attracts you to want him. My biggest wish is to meet him one day, actually have a conversation and hang out. So that I can find his faults and he can see what I can be like instead of seeing me as some crazy fan. Hey, my name’s Natasha.  No, I didn’t meet Justin Bieber, although I did meet Scooter Braun.  I tried getting a concert ticket to see Justin Bieber but they sold out so quickly I never had the change to buy one. I had to try everything I could to get my hands on a ticket. I registered into competitions, I searched eBay, I asked friends and then one night a friend had two! She was selling them last minute because she had extras. I told my parents, they said yes but when I got back to her, she had already sold them. I didn’t win any of the contests and was left devastated and crying.  My dad suggested we go to the entertainment centre the night of Bieb’s concert to see if anybody had a ticket they were selling. We got ready and went. I was stressing and honestly didn’t have much hope at all. We probably stayed there for about 2 hours, but when it got to 7:30pm I decided it was probably time to give up. I sat down and tried not to cry or stress anymore but a second later a guy appears. He just looked like an ordinary guy that was taking his daughter in or something. He said, ”Hey, do you have a ticket?”  ”Um, nope..” (I wasn’t sure who he was and didn’t exactly know why he was talking to me) Then he said, “Never say never right?” ”Hah.. yeah, just seeing if we can find some last minute tickets” He then waved over to a guy in a hoodie who came over . As soon as he took off his hoodie and I could see his face, I knew who he was.  Scooter Braun , was standing right infront of me, I WAS GOING CRAZY,  but I didn’t show it haha. The guy said, “This is Scooter Braun” and I was like, ”I KNOW!!!!”  All of a sudden, Scooter Braun handed me the ticket. I blurted out, ”OMG REALLY!? ARGH! CAN I HUG YOU”, but without a reply, I still jumped up and hugged him. He told me to quickly hurry because the concert had already started but Justin hadn’t come out yet. It was the last ticket he had, so my dad just waited in the car. I explained exactly what happened to my dad and told him I’d call him after the concert, hugged him and went in.  Scooter said, “It’s just like you’re in the movie!”  The other guy who talked to me first turned out to be Justin Bieber’s drum tech. I had a bit of a conversation with him about how there time has been in Brisbane and whatever I could really talk about since I was so excited and trying not to cry and go crazy. Scooter led me to a door into the concert, we took a quick photo and then the drum tech guy took me to my seat.  I was four rows from the stage, dead set centre on the floor. It was amazing, I thought I would have just gotten some seat up high far away, but it was the best seat anyone could ask for . That night was one of my most beloved memories ever. It was the best experience and just AHHH. Justin was of course amazing and I was singing, dancing and jumping around the whole time. I will never forget that night, I have the ticket on my wall right next to the picture with Scooter.  -@tasha_bieber  Continued here: I have loved and believed in Justin Bieber for so long….

My name is Rachael Dornauf, I’m from Melbourne Australia and I…

My name is Rachael Dornauf, I’m from Melbourne Australia and I never thought that I’d be writing my own Bieber experience. It all started when I was in L.A and I had tickets for his concert at the Staples Center. I was so excited that I was actually going to be 12 rows away from Justin and thought that nothing could ever be better then this. The concert was amazing, Jaden, Willow Smith, Sean kingston, Usher, and all the opening acts were there! The next night, we went to the Lakers game and all I could think of was how much I just wanted to see Justin again. Then I see this kid down the bottom doing the Bieb hair flip. I was like OMG it’s Justin with Jaden Smith! I couldn’t help but watch him the whole game instead of the Lakers! Then Justin’s tickets went on sale in Australia. I managed to snap up 2 VIP tickets for the first night. I screamed and cried of excitement! A month or two later, mum surprised me with 2 more VIP tickets for the next night in the exact same spot. I couldn’t believe it. I was the luckiest girl in the world! At the concert, Kenny walked by and he gave me a high five and then Alfredo walked past and I was like, “HEYYY ALFREDO” and he started laughing, and we started talking about his camera. When Justin came out on stage, he actually stared at me! I even recorded it. I thought it was the best night of my life until the next night. My brother rings up and says 4 hours before the concert, “Get ready in half an hour. We have to take you early or else you won’t be able to get there”. I was like okay?? and started rushing like a mad person to get ready! Then my sister rang and was like, “Are you getting ready? Make sure you do your hair good and dress good”. I was like, “You seriously want me to get ready and dress good in 20 minutes?”. Then she said, “Well you better, you’re meeting Justin” . I was literally speechless for like 2 minutes, I kept telling her over and over you can’t make jokes like that! Turns out my mum brought me a early birthday present from Pencils Of Promise! When we got there, I walked around the corner and Justin was there. He just looked like he was just a wax figure from Madam Tussauds. My heart was pounding out of my chest and it just felt like I was in a dream. I was like, “Omg” and he said, “Hey whats up, how are you?”. His voice is so sexy! He hugged me and I didnt want to let go! We got our photo taken. We then said goodbye and stuff and I started to walk of and I was like, “Oh wait, I forgot to give him my letter”. I handed it to him and he was like, “Awww thank you” and put it in his back pocket . I couldn’t stop smiling. Justin must have  recognized  me because he smiled and pointed at me. Then during ‘Eenie Meenie’, he stopped right infront of me bent down and sang to me which seemed like forever right in my eyes . Dan threw a guitar pick at Kenny like a meter away from me. I was like “Kenny!” and he walked over and handed it to me! When I thought things couldn’t get any better, at the end of the concert when they were packing up and stuff, Dan ran back on stage grabbed the setlist comes running towards me and points right at me and bent down, smiled and handed me the set list!  It definitely was the most amazing thing that ever happened in my life and it all still feels like a dream! I never felt so lucky. I’ll never forget it and I definetly believe that anything can happen now. ‘Transformers 3’ Box Office: How High Can It Go?

‘Dark of the Moon’ might not make as much as ‘Revenge of the Fallen,’ but that doesn’t make it a failure. By Eric Ditzian Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” Photo: Paramount Pictures Last month, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” corralled $92.2 million over its opening weekend — the highest total of 2011. How could Jack Sparrow possibly complain? Well, that lofty sum was still well below the openings of both 2006’s “Dead Man’s Chest” ($135.6 million) and 2007’s “At World’s End” ($114.7). The fact is, even the most robust of movie franchises tend to wane in terms of box-office bucks; the familiar pattern is a first film that sets the stage, a second installment that cashes in on the anticipation and then subsequent offerings that can’t continue the upward trend. Such is the case with “Transformers.” There’s much to celebrate with “Dark of the Moon,” which enjoyed a first-day gross on Wednesday of $42.5 million (when you count midnight screenings), beating the first-day pull of “On Stranger Tides” (a Friday release, no less). That puts the third “Transformers” film on track for a seven-day debut of as much as $200 million or more. So why might Optimus Prime be dissatisfied with that opening? “Revenge of the Fallen” opened to $62 million on a Wednesday in 2009, on its way to a one-week total of almost $240 million. Yet any dissatisfaction must be tempered with historical box-office perspective. “The fact that ‘T3’ didn’t measure up to ‘T2’ isn’t really a surprise, as the fatigue factor finally caught up to the franchise,” said Jeff Bock, box-office analyst for Exhibitor Relations. “This is the case for most films series as they reach the threequel. Plus, it didn’t help ‘Transformers’ that the second film was, for the most part, trashed by critics, fans and even the filmmakers.” While “Dark of the Moon” is off to a comparatively slow start, some industry observers believe it could pick up over the holiday weekend. “Everything we’re seeing on Facebook and Twitter indicates that word-of-mouth is extremely positive,” said Phil Contrino, editor of Boxoffice.com. “It’s still a bit early to rush to judgment on how well this is going to hold up over the holiday frame. It could explode in a big way over the weekend.” Perhaps. Or not. There’s no doubt the franchise took a public-opinion hit after the second film. And while the third one offers perhaps the finest use of 3-D since “Avatar,” it comes at a time when audiences are battling back against a host of shoddy 3-D offerings by simply not paying the extra bucks for another dimension. “Dark of the Moon” is a victim of the three-dimensional failings of “Clash of the Titans.” At the same time, we can’t ignore the worldwide situation. Globally, “Dark of the Moon” might well eclipse the $836 million total of “Revenge of the Fallen” (just as “On Stranger Tides” could end up being the biggest “Pirates” flick when international grosses are factored in). Thus, Optimus rejoices! So where does all this leave “Transformers” going forward? Both star Shia LaBeouf and director Michael Bay have declared, in no uncertain terms, that they plan to end their involvement with the series after three films. Both creatively and financially, that might not be such a bad thing. “This franchise needs new blood and a new angle going forward,” Bock said, going on to suggest the fourth film needs to leave the familiar environs of Earth behind and deeply explore the robot alien’s home planet. “Maybe a trip to Cybertron will be the spark ‘Transformers 4’ needs. Don’t bring it to us, we’ll come to you! But we will likely have to wait three to four years.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Pete Rock Says Police Hit His Wife During Post-Party Melee

NYPD commissioner tells MTV News that officers ‘used appropriate force’ when breaking up the Smif-N-Wessun album-release party Tuesday. By Rob Markman Pete Rock Photo: MTV News What was supposed to be a week of celebration for hip-hop group Smif-N-Wessun and veteran producer Pete Rock turned violently wrong on Tuesday after cops busted up their Monumental album-release party in New York City. Concertgoers were attacked by cops, and for Rock, the drama hit especially close to home as police struck his wife and stepdaughter, he told MTV News on Thursday (June 30). “We were coming out and someone was screaming, ‘Yo, Pete, your wife, your wife.’ So I ran out to make sure they were OK and to make sure the cop would stop hitting them,” the Mount Vernon, New York, hitmaker told MTV News. “My stepdaughter said the cop was hitting her leg and she jumped in the way for her mother, which is my wife, to take the hits. And then my cameraman tried to jump in front of her, to take her hits. I was going bananas.” A press release issued Thursday by the group stated that 30 minutes after “a minor argument” that “eventually was defused by the bouncers,” approximately 15 to 20 uniformed police officers from the 7th Precinct in downtown Manhattan arrived at Tammany Hall. “The officers then hurried into the club and began macing and assaulting individuals inside the club, dragging one of them out and pummeling him directly in front of the club,” the press release said. The group’s attorney, Kenneth Montgomery, who was present at the concert, said the police “behavior was unjustified, unprovoked, and simply barbaric considering there was no provocation.” When MTV News reached out to the NYPD for comment, we received this statement from Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly: “Police officers had every right to defend themselves against individuals assaulting them, and used appropriate force in doing so. They also protected civilians who were being pelted with bottles at the outset, as they responded to the location at the request of the club’s own security.” Various portions of the incident were captured on film by bystanders, who recorded the melee on their cell phones and video cameras and uploaded footage to YouTube and other social-networking sites. Tek and Steele (the two members of Smif-N-Wessun) and Rock weren’t harmed physically, but for the producer, who witnessed his wife and stepdaughter being assaulted by police, it was difficult to exercise restraint. “I have to say that I’m very proud of myself that I held every bit of anger I had inside when that was happening,” he said. “I’m very proud of myself.”

My name is Adriana and I’m from Adelaide, Australia. I never…

My name is Adriana and I’m from Adelaide, Australia . I never ever thought the day would come where I would be writing my own Bieber experience. A few months before Justin’s concert, I found out that bieberfever.com was having a contest to win meet and greets for Justin’s show in our city. I begged mum to let me join and she agreed. The task was to promote the website. I right away started promoting it in every possible. I stuck up signs everywhere, tweeted it and all of that kind of stuff. Two weeks before the concert I started sending my email in a few times a day. Then 2 days before the concert, I sent it in about 10 times a day because I was scared that they weren’t gonna see my video. It said on the website that we would have been contacted within 24 hours of the show, so I was thinking if I won I would have been contacted Wednesday as the show was Thursday. Wednesday came and I had no email, so obviously I had lost . All that hard work for nothing. My friend Isabelle said she had a feeling that the emails probably haven’t been sent out yet, and guess what, she was right! On Thursday 5 th May, the day it all began! 7:20am Isabelle rang my house phone to tell me I had won. I was sleeping at the time so mum came in and woke me up and told me that I had won! I straight away got out of bed and took the phone off mum and was like, ‘WHAT WE WON?’ I was so excited! I had to get myself organized, I still didn’t know what I was gonna wear! The day went by so slowly. Finally it was 2:30pm and I knew what I was wearing.   At 3pm we went to the entertainment center and waited. It was finally 5:00 so we waited in this corridor while the security spoke about the rules. The line was getting shorter and shorter and I was so nervous to meet him. The security said, “Okay I need another 4 people”, so Isabelle, Sarah, Bella and I went in. We waited at the door and we all looked in and there he was! As we walked in he said, “Hey girls”. I can’t even describe how I was feeling at this point. The girls hugged him, then I did. I didn’t want to let go of him. Once we had our photo, we tried to talk to him but the security told us we had to leave. I still couldn’t believe it.. I just met Justin Bieber?! The concert was so amazing. Still today I can’t believe I have met Justin Bieber! My dreams have come true!! Dream big and never say never, that’s all I’ve got to say!! -@AdriLovesBiebs Read the original here: My name is Adriana and I’m from Adelaide, Australia. I never…

Miley Cyrus Dons Revealing Clothing, Covers Classics in Australia

Thank you, Miley Cyrus. It’s been far too long since we mocked your fashion choices . The singer took her international Gypsy Heart Tour to Brisbane, Australia late last week, entertaining screaming fans with tracks from “Can’t Be Tamed” and also covering a couple classics. There’s a problem, though, when you deliver a version of the iconic ballad “Landslide” in an outfit that might make some porn stars blush. It’s a bit distracting and off-message. Watch Miley belt out that single, followed by Nirvan’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” below. Miley Cyrus – Landside (Live) Miley Cyrus – Smells Like Teen Spirit (In Concert)

The night of July 4th, 2010 I didn’t sleep at all. I had entered a contest on bieberfever.com to meet Justin & for the contest you had to promote bieberfever.com on Facebook and Twitter, at the time. I didn’t have either one, but I still tried my best. I stayed awake all night just to see if I was lucky enough to meet Justin. It was already the morning of July 5th, and I was starting to loose hope; but around 9am I finally got an email, it was titled “Congratulations Bieber Fan”. I started crying right away, it didn’t feel like real life. (Fast forward to getting there) I was waiting outside in a line, and it being a hot summer day wasn’t going so well for me. I was already nervous and the heat made me wanna pass out. Before we entered the room, the security guard said we couldn’t take our own pics or ask for an autograph, it was a bummer, but nothing could bring me down that day. By the time I was in the same room as Justin, I lost all thought and the ability to speak. I wasn’t sure where to stand, there were two girls on one side of him, and after standing there for what seemed like forever, he opened his second arm out to me, he put his arm around me, it was surreal. After the picture was taken, we had to leave the room, and let the others in, I stood in front of him, wanting to ask for a hug, but i couldn’t manage to get the words out, I just stared, and it seemed like he was staring back, it may sound crazy, but he was looking at me… but no words. When we left the room, we waited around for the concert to start. The concert was amazing, all the energy in the room, it was like nothing else. I could barely hear, or talk after the concert, but it was all worth it. I didn’t sleep that night either. I was high up on all the energy. I can’t believe its been almost a year. Whenever I show someone the picture, they sometimes think its fake, because at the meet & greet there were two cameras, one turned out blurry, the other perfect, except Justin was looking in a different direction. I wish he wasn’t, but I don’t mind. It’s the memories that will last forever. -@itsthesamantha Original post: The night of July 4th, 2010 I didn’t sleep at all. I had…

November 16, 2010 was the best day of my life. I remember I was…

November 16, 2010 was the best day of my life. I remember I was going to the Justin Bieber concert in Boston, Massachusetts at the Boston Garden with 3 of my best friends. It was on a Tuesday, so right after school we drove down to Boston. While we were in the car we were listening to his CD the whole way down and was talking about him. Then when we got there the first thing we did was buy t-shirts and went out to eat. Then finally we stood in line for about an hour outside in the cold. It was the biggest line I’ve ever seen. All four of us were singing and yelling while everyone was looking at us . Then the doors finally opened. Our seats were apart from each other so it was two of us in one section and two of us in another. My friend and I decided to take the first row of the Lodge and seats 9 and 10. My other two friends sat down on the floor but farther back then us. When the concert started you couldn’t hear anything because all you could hear was everyone screaming at the top of there lungs but I was doing the same. Sean Kingston came on first then Justin came on and the place got ever louder. I was yelling and screaming to every song Justin was singing so far. While Justin was singing “Down to earth” a lady (Allison) came up to me and said, “Do you wanna be the One Less Lonely Girl”. I said “What?” (since I couldn’t hear because of all the screaming) then she said again, “Do you wanna be the One Less Lonely Girl?” Then I realized what she was asking me and I said “YES!” She said, “Alright come with me” . I followed her backstage. She asked me questions like, “Where are you from?” “How old are you?” then she said “Do you need any water?” because I looked like I was going to pass out . Then she said, “Justin is going to sing to you” and she was talking to me the whole time and was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Then one of Justin’s back up dancers, Marvin, started talking to me and started dancing with me. They told me to move in a different place backstage but closer to the curtain. I remember Allison saying “look” and I could see the shadow of Justin being behind me singing to the audience. Then everyone asked me to step up in front of the black curtain. Then when I heard the lyrics, “I can fix up your broken heart” they opened the curtain for me and I walked out on stage . They brought me a chair and I started getting tears in my eyes. I couldn’t believe what was happening. Justin came down the stairs in his white long sleeve shirt, white pants, purple high tops, and a purple yankees hat. He comes over to me and gave me roses. He places them in my lap and looks straight in my eyes. Then he circles around me and drags his hand along my back and goes up to the front of the stage and waves his hands to the audience back and forth. Then he comes over to me puts his hand on my right cheek, looks in my eyes, and strokes it. Then goes behind me and starts dancing with his dancers. He came back to me, strokes my right cheek once more, stairs into me eyes deeply, then goes behind me and gives me a hug. Then he kisses me on the head and then the lights go off. I walk off stage with one of his back up dancers and was balling my eyes. Allison and the camera man walked me back to my seat. While I was walking back, people were putting there hands out and looking at me and I was on the big screen. When I was got back to my seat all of my friends were crying saying, “I hate you” and “You lived my dream” but I was still in shock by then and still crying so I didn’t even hear half the things they said. While the concert was still going on, Allison comes back with a disc that had the whole thing on tape. I thanked her so much and finished watching the concert. After the concert people came up to me asking so many questions, asking for a rose and a mother wanted to pay me $10 for a rose. I will never forget that day. It was the best thing that could ever happen to me. When I got home, I balled my eyes out again and then I put the flowers in a vase and then I found a scarf with his name on it that was in the flowers and it says “One Less Lonely Girl”. From this day I still have the flowers hanging in my room, and still have the scarf that I wear all the time. I watch my video about 3 times a day and at my school I’m known as the girl who got on stage with Justin Bieber. I will never, ever forget that day, and how that day was the best day of my life. -@lyssabiebs Here is a video when I was the OLLG! Idris Elba To Star In Guillermo Del Toro’s “Pacific Rim”

See the original post:

It was officially confirmed yesterday that British actor  Idris Elba will star in a sci-fi film called  Pacific Rim , which will be directed by Guillermo del Toro ( Pans Labyrinth , Hellboy ). The story is set in the future at a time and place in which malevolent creatures threaten the earth, and the world has to band together to rid the planet of these menaces, using highly advanced technological weapons. Elba will play a lead character named “ Sensi ,” starring alongside Son of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam. Not much else is known about the character breakdowns and the film’s plotline at the moment; but it’s clear that Mr Elba’s stock is rising rapidly, and rightfully so (compared to some of his British actor counterparts, like Chiwetel Ejiofor ). He has a hit TV show in “Luther ” (for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe award this year), and few big-budgeted Hollywood films he’s starring in, on the horizon. He’s co-starring in Ridley Scott’s heavily-secretive sci-fi epic, Prometheus , which is currently shooting in the UK, and has a role in the upcoming Ghost Rider sequel. Lastly, a multi-picture deal with Marvel Studios may see him cast in a movie based on one of a few black superheros, like  Luke Cage , or  Black Panther. The next two to three years should be eventful and rewarding for Mr Elba, who now seems to have come a long way from films like Daddy’s Little Girls and Obsessed . We’ll all be watching closely.
