Game of Thrones Renewed For Seasons 5 & 6, Sets Ratings High For HBO

HBO’s blockbuster fantasy series Game of Thrones has been renewed through at least 2016. Seasons 5 and 6 of the show have been ordered, executives confirmed. The no-brainer decision from the premium cable network ensures that Game of Thrones Season 5 and 6 will follow Season 4, which kicked off Sunday night. The first episode of 2014, “Two Swords,” became the network’s most watched episode of any show since The Sopranos’ 2007 finale (11.9 million viewers). Suffice it to say, the series is only becoming more popular with time. In an effort to continue that upward trajectory, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Taylor Swift seems a little old to be letting her parents run her career, but sources close to the singer say that’s exactly what she’s doing…and they’re running it right into the ground. Even though they’re now legally separated Scott and Andrea Swift apparently remain united over their favorite activity: micro-managing Taylor and the people around her. One anonymous insider tells the New York Post that Taylor’s parents are “difficult and controlling” and adds that the former couple is making it impossible for management and musicians to work with Taylor. “Taylor’s parents are incredibly difficult to deal with,” says the source. “They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s–t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor.” Terrible parents, eh? They may explain a lot – like why she’s dated half of Hollywood and Karlie Kloss is the only person who can stand to be around her! We kid, of course. Taylor may have her diva side, but she recently visited cancer patients , and celebs who’ve worked with her in the past have reported that she’s a pleasure. On Fox News’ Fox & Friends First this morning, co-host Heather Childers sent her congratulations to the Connecticut Huskies for defeating the Kentucky Wildcats last night and winning the “NAACP” championship and… wait… what?!? Yes, Childers accidentally referred to UConn as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People” champs, as opposed to the toast of the National Collegiate Athletic Association world. She quickly apologized on Twitter (“totally on me. I’m a huge sports fan. Was excited about #UCONN’s win, misspoke but immediately corrected it. That “H” is one helluva drug… Courtney Love Thinks She Found Malaysia Flight 370 Via NYDailyNews Courtney Love has joined millions of other people in the effort to search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 in the wake of the plane’s shocking disappearance on March 8, by logging into crowdsourcing locator website Tomnod. The Hole singer scoured satellite images over the areas law enforcement and local officials have been circling around in hopes of finding evidence of the plane, or any wreckage — and she thinks she may have found something. Love drew lots of attention for her investigative post, including plenty of snark. “Swear to god if Courtney Love finds the f–king plane,” one Facebook user wrote — which garnered over 9,000 “likes.” Despite her effort, the Tomnod website has deemed Love’s discovery was not a plane. “Sometimes our eyes see what we want them to see,” the company said, according to the Wall Street Journal. Translation: “Bless her heart…” “Yeah, I went to the satellite site and just uploaded tons and tons of pictures,” she said. “I really doubt aliens took it. It’s got to be somewhere. I’m a little obsessive.” “I mean I don’t know anything about aviation per se,” she added. “I figured a plane would still be leaking some fuel so I searched for signs of an oil slick. I found one and there appeared to be an object nearby. I don’t know if it is the plane or not, but I figured I’d do my part and bring some awareness to the site, for the sake of all the families involved.” “I hope they find the plane. I pray they’re still alive. It’s sad and my heart goes out to all those involved. … It’s the least I can do.” We hope they find the plane too, but we’ll be damned if its at the hands of Courtney f***ing Love.

Remember the first episode of this season’s “Basketball Wives L.A.” when Ariane was acting all cray toward Draya over the guy they both dated? Well it looks as if homeboy (Deshawn Stevenson) is WAY WAY past all that isht they were talking about because over the weekend the former Atlanta Hawks baller popped the question to his girlfriend Jessi Marie… and she said YES! Congratulations!!! The happy occasion went down in Orlando, Florida while the couple celebrated Jessica (who also goes by JJ) turning 30. Both Deshawn and JJ have kids from previous relationships, she’s a fitness buff who recently put him on a plan that helped him lose 12 lbs. When she’s not doing yoga and touting the benefits of Herbalife she isn’t too shy to show off that mommy bangin’ bawwwwdy in a bikini (more photos of that later).
