Either reports of Breezy’s bad tenant-ness were grossly exaggerated , or he has found yet another good person to hold him down unnecessarily. The real estate agent who helped him land his cushy L.A. crib says she can’t imagine Chris Brown being the kind of tenant described in earlier reports. “Chris Brown has been very kind and an absolute pleasure to work with,” says Manuela Villa of L.A. Luxury Estates. “Our interaction on his behalf continues to be professional and seamless.” She’s probably not lying. We bet Breezy is no louder than any other 21-year-old who can afford to be living where he’s living… without their Mommy and Daddy. In other news, Team Breezy can officially pat itself on the back.
Congratulations are in order for Reese Witherspoon , who took her second trip down the aisle in California yesterday. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are officially man and wife! The blushing bride said “I Do” for the second time in a private ceremony at Reese’s ranch in Ojai, Calif. on March 26, Reese’s rep tells People. Some of Reese’s closest celeb pals and former co-stars were in attendance, including Renée Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey, Jr. and Alyssa Milano. Her two kids – Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7 –were also supporting their mom. As expected, Reese’s ex-hubbie Ryan Phillippe was a no-show for the nuptials. Reese, 35, looked stunning and was reportedly “giddy” as she made her way down the aisle in a ceremony lasting 20 minutes. The couple got engaged in December, and have been keeping their wedding details under wraps. Must be nice to have a Hollyweird wedding without instant rumors of divorce. Way to go Reese. Source

In times like these it’s always good to know miracles do happen. A 60-year-old Japanese man was found 10 miles from shore floating on the fragments of his shattered house, two days after the tsunami swept him out to sea. Hiromitsu Shinkawa was pushed out to sea while he clung to the roof of his home after a tsunami swept away his wife. For two days, he drifted off Japan’s northeastern coast, trying to get the attention of helicopters and ships that passed by – to no avail. Finally, on Sunday, a Japanese military vessel spotted the 60-year-old waving a red cloth. He was about 15 kilometers (about 10 miles) offshore from the earthquake-ravaged city of Minamisoma, said Yoshiyuki Kotake, a Defense Ministry spokesman. Shinkawa told his rescuers that the tsunami hit as he and his wife returned home to gather some belongings after Friday’s quake. His wife was swept away, Kotake said. “Several helicopters and ships passed by, but none of them noticed me,” he was quoted by another defense agency spokesman, who refused to be identified by name, as saying. Japanese troops used a small boat to pluck him from the ocean. Military officials said Shinkawa was lucky that mild weather and relatively calm seas enabled him to stay afloat for nearly two days, the Kyodo news agency reported. “I thought today was the last day of my life,” it quoted him as saying. Shinkawa’s wife is still among the missing in Japan. Amazing survival story, but for every Hiromitsu Shinkawa there are thousands more lives lost. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan affected by this devastation. R.I.P. to all the dead.
This also means the Lakeshow didn’t beat the Heat once this whole season. The Lakers could have finally wished their fans a Merry Christmas, along with a belated apology for their behavior back in December. Instead, they gift-wrapped a game Thursday and handed it to the Miami Heat. The Lakers’ messy last two minutes led to Miami’s 94-88 victory and ended two streaks at once — the Lakers’ eight-game surge and the Heat’s five-game skid. There was no getting even for a humiliating loss to Miami on Christmas Day after Kobe Bryant committed two late turnovers and missed two long three-point attempts, one from 28 feet at AmericanAirlines Arena. Bryant wasn’t the only one at fault. Ron Artest missed an open layup attempt with 1:04 left. Merry March, Miami. Or as Andrew Bynum said in his own way, “We tricked it, for sure. We definitely had an opportunity to win this game and we gave it away.” Their game Saturday in Dallas is more important to the Lakers, but this one was taken plenty seriously. Bryant warned teammates the previous day not to stay out late in always-rocking South Beach and to make sure the game was the focus of their trip to Miami. He had 24 points on a poor shooting night (eight for 21) and was still angry about it 30 minutes after the game. So he returned to the court and shot a slew of three-pointers and mid-range jumpers as three Heat ball boys fetched rebounds and fed him passes. His Lakers T-shirt was wet with sweat by the time he finished. He played almost 40 minutes in the game and stayed on the court for more than an hour afterward. “It’s my job,” Bryant said. “This is what you’re supposed to do if you’re not feeling comfortable with something and you feel like you can tweak some things.” The game ended feebly for a team that had been playing so robustly, beating Portland, Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Atlanta on the road since the All-Star break. Bryant started it by coughing the ball up to Dwyane Wade, who fed LeBron James for a dunk and 90-88 lead with 1:27 to play. Then Artest missed his easy shot. Then Bryant lost the ball out of bounds while going up for a shot down low. Then he lofted an off-balance, 28-foot, three-point attempt. By the time the misfires were added up, the Lakers had lost, though Coach Phil Jackson took the blame. As everyone knows, he rarely calls timeouts and often still has one or two in his pocket for end-of-game situations. This time, he called his last one with 46 seconds to play and the Lakers down by four. “I really took responsibility for screwing up the end of the game,” he said. “I had no timeouts…” As for Artest? “I should have made the layup, but they grabbed my arm, I got hit in my head, and then, well, goaltending too possibly, right?” Artest said. “But that’s an excuse, man. I should have made the layup.” The Lakers initially thought the Heat took the rebound with the ball still in the cylinder but stepped back from their thinking after conferring with their video coordinator. The Heat couldn’t be happier, ending a five-game losing streak that tugged on the franchise and its celebrated trio of All-Stars. “This was a very big game and we had everything riding on it,” said Heat forward Chris Bosh, who complained about his touches earlier this week and had 24 points on 10-for-17 shooting Thursday. You know who’s really happy? The owner of Whiskey Tango in Hollywood, FL, who promised to pay $25 of everyone’s bar tab every time the team lost. So far, it has cost John Todora $85K. Source
The NAACP Image Awards went down last night, attracting all the bangers, old and young, to the Shrine Auditorium red carpet. It’s hard to beat Halle Berry in the “Bangin’” category but we figured if anybody had a shot, it might be that other old fine banger — Salli Richardson. Check out more pictures from the red carpet below but don’t forget to tell us Who Looked More Bangin’.

For Tamera Mowry, work will just have to take a backseat to wedding planning. The Sister Sister star just announced her engagement to Adam Housley in late January, but is full-steam ahead for her May 15 nuptials. “I’m actually going to take a break from work because it’s been a little bit stressful,” she tells PEOPLE. “I want to focus on this huge transition that’s happening to me. I really want to soak it in.” Luckily, Mowry has pregnant twin Tia to help. “I’m picking out flowers and helping making sure the place is how she wants it and that kind of stuff,” Tia says. “She’s had her little bridezilla moments, but she’s been pretty cool.” And, even in the midst of booking locations – “everything needs to be by a beach,” Tia says – and choosing centerpieces, Tamera is most excited about spending the rest of her life with Housley, who is an on-air reporter for Fox News Channel. “[My favorite part of being engaged is] knowing that I will have a partner forever,” Tamera says, tearing up. “Knowing that he’s not going anywhere.” Congrats to her, but we didn’t even know that her “career” was even poppin like that to be taking “breaks”… Via People
