Kanye West Changes Title of "Theraflu" To…

Kanye West still claims to love Kim Kardashian in his latest single, but he has relevant breaking news regarding the track initially dubbed “Theraflu.” It is now titled “Way Too Cold,” a move Kanye labels as a “creative decision” on his official website, but more likely one made in response to backlash from Theraflu manufacturer Novartis, which released the following statement soon after the song hit the Internet: “Novartis Consumer Health in no way endorses or approves of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.” Kanye West – “Theraflu” West is also facing fire from PETA for a lyric in the single that mentions how his “mink is draggin’ on the floor.” Don’t look for him to give in to those attention-starved morons, though. They suck, and he’s too busy pretending to be in a relationship with Kardashian.

Ever Wanted To Have Sex With Your iPad? Now You Can!

People are just incredibly disgusting. We’ll be quitting life right now. Incredibly lonely and depressing people across he world now have something to look forward to. Fleshlight devices are makeshift vaginas for men to use to pleasure themselves. Let’s take a look at the official wording: This conceptual design titled the FleshliPad Holder, melds the Fleshlight device to a rubber housing for the Apple iPad (or alternative tablet) allowing the consumer to interactively reach self-gratification with various pre-recorded multimedia (photograph, video or animation) designed specifically for the tablet-penis interface. This product hasn’t hit stores yet as the “inventor” is trying to get it approved. Yes, this is incredibly weird. Would you even feel comfortable letting someone else use your iPad after you know you’ve been using it as a makeshift sex machine when you’re by yourself? Men will find a way to stick their members in anything these days. SMH. Pic via Filmdrunk More On Bossip! Put On Blast: Amber Rose’s Former Publicist Goes H.A.M. On Twitter! Chris Brown Hates The Fact That He Can’t Just Say “F**k It”, But Loves Inspiring The World With His Music And His Smile

Breezy is on the cover of The Source Magazine and speaks on his F.A.M.E. album, living up to expectations, and what he does and does not like about being Chris Brown: “I don’t really think it’s a comeback album. I feel like it’s an album of triumph, like an underdog type of album,” Brown tells the magazine. “It’s more of me showing and proving everybody wrong. I don’t think I ever went anywhere. It’s not like I fell off the face of the earth.” “What I like most about being Chris Brown is being able to influence the world with my music and smile, being able to inspire the world, fans singing your music, seeing people dressed like you but at the same time them wanting to be themselves, be individuals,” he continues. “I recognize my music touches people and everything I do negative or positive affects people all over the world. So that’s definitely a blessing and a curse. “The thing I dislike most about my life is living up to everybody’s expectations, never being able to be like, ‘F**k it,’ and do what I want to do, not care about someone’s opinion. As artists we’re opinionated, but we definitely do care about the public’s opinion because that’s our consumer.” Awwwwww, poor thang.

50 Cent Making It Rain On Them Hoes Via Twitter

Dayuummmm, Curtis!!! Rapper 50 Cent made $8.7 million yesterday — by tweeting. The 35-year-old celeb, aka Curtis Jackson, helped pop the shares of a no-name penny stock company he’s invested in by 290 percent yesterday after chatting it up this weekend on Twitter, the social-networking site. “You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford,” Jackson tweeted about H&H Imports, a money-losing venture out of Clearwater, Fla., that owns TV Goods, a marketing firm recently founded by Kevin Harrington. Harrington is best known for his role on ABC’s reality show “Shark Tank,” which lets entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to potential backers. “They are no joke get in now,” Jackson told his 3.8 million Twitter followers about TV Goods, which Harrington founded in 2009. It merged with H&H in May. Jackson received 30 million shares of H&H in a private placement last October, including a series of warrants granting him the opportunity to cash in as the stock rises: at 15 cents, 25 cents or — no kidding — 50 cents. For some of the warrants, he only has to put up 10 cents a share, according to a recent regulatory filing. Earlier this month, Jackson also “personally endorsed” a line of mobile audio products TV Goods had gained marketing rights to that are made by another Florida company, Sleek Audio, H&H said. Jackson talked up the headphones when he appeared on TV last week from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Jackson’s reps didn’t return a request for comment. Of course, Jackson’s hype won’t fix the cash-flow problems at H&H. The company lost $1.3 million last quarter on revenues of just $292,933. As of Sept. 30, the company has accumulated a deficit of $3.3 million and in March its auditor raised questions about its ability “to continue as a going concern,” the company has said in financial documents. H&H closed at 39 cents yesterday, up 29 cents, boosting Jackson’s 30 million-share stake by $8.7 million. Source

How Is Your Mobile Device or Laptop Funding Conflict Mineral Wars?

A recent report from Enough Project ranked the top 21 electronics manufacturers, showing their progress in creating products with conflict-free minerals and the steps they've taken to ensure that. EP estimates that conflict mining is a $185 million business, which is even more shocking when you consider the World Bank says average the average miner makes only $5 a day. ====== report =================== By Michelle Castillo, TechLand, on December 15, 2010 Many of our electronic devices are made up of minerals like tantalum, used to make the capacitors in most cell phones, and tin, which makes up the inside lining of some cell phones and is used to solder circuit boards. Unfortunately, many of these materials come from conflict-ridden areas of the Congo, where increasing profits from electronic sales help fund the inhumane treatment of people who live and work in the country. The Enough Project, an advocacy group focused on ending genocide and crimes against humanity, estimates that conflict mining is a $185 million business, which is even more shocking when you consider the World Bank says average the average miner makes only $5 a day. According to Raise Hope for Congo, more than 5.4 million people have died from the continuous wars that ravage the country. The organization urges people to tell companies that they want conflict free products. Congo's minerals are especially attractive to electronic manufacturers because of unregulated mining practices and cheap labor. Minerals from the African nation cost half or a third as much the same materials from other countries, according to the Washington Post. Though the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Act requires manufacturers to identify and get rid of conflict minerals in their products and similar legislation will be mandated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2011, Congolese mines are often controlled by armed groups and militias. These groups smuggle the minerals out of the country to smelting companies on other continents, which means the origin of the minerals can often be masked even from the company commissioning the product. Even though Congo's president announced a ban on all artisanal mining in eastern Congo last August, the ruling has not been enforced by the country's national military and has even negatively affected the citizens who work in the mines as a main source of income. A recent report from Enough Project ranked the top 21 electronics manufacturers, showing their progress in creating products with conflict-free minerals and the steps they've taken to ensure that. Leading the pack was HP with an over 30 percent improvement. The company has endorsed anti-conflict mineral legislation and advocates for strong US regulations for all manufacturers. Apple, who uses tantalum not only in their smartphones but in iPods as well, were given a yellow score, which means there is much room for improvement. (Though several of their top executives have spoken out against conflict mineral mining in the Congo, they did not weigh in on key US conflict mineral legislation.) Toshiba received the worst score of the bunch; they have barely made any changes at all according to the study. Enough Project knows it may be hard for the average consumer to tell whether or not they are helping fund a war over natural resources just by looking at a product. Still, the group hopes that especially this holiday season when people are out shopping for the latest gadgets that by being little more knowledgeable about which companies are taking a stand against genocide and human rights abuses, shoppers can judge for themselves whether or not to support these crimes against humanity. ##### ARTICLE HERE ################## Is Your Mobile Device or Laptop Funding Conflict Mineral Wars? Lady Gaga’s Madame Tussauds Wax Statues Unveiled

Little monsters turn up in NYC for unveiling of Gaga in a hair hat. By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Evan Leong The Lady Gaga wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York City Photo: Gary Gershoff/ Getty Images All day on Thursday (December 9), Madame Tussauds unveiled eight wax versions of Lady Gaga all over the world, including at the museum’s European outposts, as well as one in New York’s Times Square. MTV News was on hand for the NYC unveiling of the pop star’s wax likeness, where her little monsters showed up dressed up in Gaga-like garb to catch a glimpse of the statue. For the New York version, Gaga appears in a sheer black dress paired with a wide-brim hat made of hair, a look she wore to the Consumer Electronics Show back in January. Earlier in the day, figures were unveiled in Asia and Europe, and they fittingly each have their own unique fashion statement, which Gaga fans were invited to help pick out. In Berlin, Gaga wears a blazer, leotard and hair bow; in London the figure dons a Philip Treacy telephone hat and sparkly navy Armani suit; in Amsterdam, she’s in a nude bodysuit, a white blazer and a towering purple beehive. Her skintight black harlequin outfit is featured in Hong Kong, and her wire “wing” dress is on display in Shanghai. Gaga statues are also making their debut in Los Angeles and Las Vegas later in the day. “As one of the biggest and most unique talents in the world, Lady Gaga is the perfect subject for the biggest figure launch in Madame Tussauds’ history,” a November press release said, explaining why Gaga was getting so many statues. “All of the styles being worked on are classic Gaga, and we’re sure her fans will be delighted with the unique looks when we unveil the figures next month.” Gaga is one of the many pop stars to get a wax statue this year. She joins Taylor Swift , Kim Kardashian and Gwen Stefani as some of the latest celebs to be immortalized for the museum. Which is your favorite Lady Gaga wax figure outfit?
