Proving he is a reformed character, ‘Don’t Judge Me’ singer Chris is leaving his controversial bad boy persona in the past and moving to inspire others to embrace minorities in society through his new movement, Unity Campaign. Sharing his plans with his Twitter followers, Chris tweeted on Thursday: “The new single is apart of my “UNITY CAMPAIGN” which encourages all races, genders, sexes, (everyone) gay or straight to love each other!” “As a young inspiration to all types of people around the world, I have a moral obligation to let go of grudges or bs,” he added. Another day, another controversial ad campaign firing peeps up online. Move over, happy prostitute ads . Step right up, pregnant teen boys! The campaign, by Chicago Department of Public Health’s Office of Adolescent and School Health, features the tagline, “Unexpected? Most teen pregnancies are.” Teen pregnancy in Chicago is 1.5 times higher than the national average. Fortunately for miscreant boys, they can’t get pregnant. Unfortunately, they’re getting called out in these ads for being deadbeats and shirking responsibility. The point, of course, is to show that “teen parenthood is more than just a girl’s responsibility,” something the men of Teen Mom don’t exactly drive home. Looking at you, Adam Lind and all you other douchebags. This dude obviously isn’t knocked up, but he should be knocked around a bit if he doesn’t step up and think with his brain instead of his … you know. You get the provocative, online buzz-worthy point by now. So remember, hornball teens: Pull and pray does not actually work. No glove, no love. Wrap it before you tap it. Double bag it if you have to. Be safe. You’ll be glad you did, lest you end up like Jenelle Evans .

During an interview with CocoaFab this week Jackie Christie came to Draya’s defense: “You know, it’s unfortunate and I feel really sorry. Knowing Draya personally, I adore her. People say I bullied her and it was never that. I’ve always looked at her like a little sister. I learn from her just like she learns from me,” she says of her controversial costar. “Draya is a good parent. Jackson Says Evolution Is False According to Raw Story The Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in Virginia believes that biological evolution is false because chimpanzees cannot speak like humans do. BuzzFeed revealed on Tuesday that E.W. Jackson made the claim in Ten Commandments to an Extraordinary Life, a book he published in 2008. In the book, he noted that scientists had taught chimpanzees to use sign language. He said this finding was wrongly used as evidence that primates were our ancestors. Jackson said the scientists were incorrect because language was a gift God provided exclusively to human beings and “no other creature.” “There is an unfathomable gulf between humans and all other creatures because creation was designed that way,” he wrote. Scientists have uncovered that modern humans and modern chimpanzees share a common ancestor in the distant past. The notion that modern humans evolved from chimpanzees is a common misconception. It is not the first time the controversial candidate’s book has been the subject of scrutiny. In late May, the liberal blog Think Progress reported that Jackson was an advocate of the so-called “prosperity gospel.” In apparent contradiction to the teachings of the New Testament, Jackson’s book declared the pursuit of money was not evil and didn’t make people evil. Chris Brown has reportedly moved in with Karrueche Tran . But he now has far bigger problems on his hands than extra hair in the drain: the singer may be headed to prison. According to TMZ sources, the LAPD is investigating the singer’s car accident last week in order to determine whether or not he violated his probation. Following his beating of Rihanna, one condition for Brown’s freedom was that he obey every single law on the books. But there’s talk that Brown refused to give the victim of the crash his driver’s license and that he also provided false insurance information at the scene. If Brown really did leave without disclosing these requirements to the woman, he could head to jail for up to four years. Authorities will likely schedule a conversation with the controversial artist for some time in the future.
You’ll forgive Ann Curry for not caring a whole lot about what her NBC bosses think. The former Today Show host made her first live appearance on screen last night since her controversial firing, hosting the Nightly News for Brian Williams. And while fans were psyched to see the return of this former co-host, they were also taken aback by her new haircut. As were network producers, apparently. ” Ann was always told by her bosses that her hair had to be long, and she just didn’t like to wear it at that length,” an insider tells The Daily Mail . “She is a no-fuss gal, and doesn’t want to spend a ton of time styling her hair. [So] she just decided to cut it.” Curry reportedly clashed often with producers during her Today run, with higher-ups mocking her fashion and style. So perhaps this was her small attempt at revenge? Looks like it’s SO ON between Chris Brown and Rihanna … just not in the romantic sense this time. More like the passive-aggressive Twitter feud sense. The latest Chris Brown-Rihanna split was confirmed by the R&B star, who said earlier in the week that “Im’ma do it solo” but didn’t really get into why. From the looks of their social media accounts, there may be some lingering bitterness on both sides, not just drifting apart because of long distance, etc. You don’t have to read between the lines too aggressively when Rihanna, shortly after the split, goes and posts an Instagram image like this one: This implies that the Barbados-bred beauty lost her friends (we assume that’s what she means by “hoes” here) to get back with the controversial singer. Now that they broke up, she wants her “hoes” back. Obviously. Plenty of people were critical of Rihanna for taking Chris back – she reportedly lost Katy Perry as a BFF in particular – so it makes sense in context. In response (maybe), Brown posted a cryptic Tweet of his own: This implies that she either cheated on him or that he constantly worried about it with her on the road, which also isn’t exactly a big stretch. Brown lamented in a recent interview that he’ll never know what goes on when she’s on tour, though he did say it’d be cool if she cheated with a girl . There’s also Drake and Chris’ obvious insecurity there. If these messages really do mean what they think they mean, that’s pretty juvenile. Then again, it keeps us talking, and … they can be pretty juvenile.

We will just call this Raymond’s “teachable moment.” Raymond Kelly Says Blacks Commit 75 Percent Of Violent Crimes According to NY Daily News Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly credited the controversial stop-and-frisk tactic for helping to push New York’s crime rate to record lows. In a television interview, New York’s top cop defended his department’s use of the crime fighting tool and blasted critics who say it targets a disproportionate number of blacks and Latinos. “The stark reality is that crime happens in communities of color,” Kelly told “Nightline” co-anchor Bill Weir Wednesday. “About 70% to 75% of the people described as committing violent crimes — assault, robbery, shootings, grand larceny — are described as being African-American. “The percentage of people who are stopped is 53% African-American,” he continued. “So really, African-Americans are being understopped in relation to the percentage of people being described as being the perpetrators of violent crime.” The commissioner also countered allegations by a Brooklyn teenager that aggressive “proactive policing” like stop-and-frisk creates divisions between communities and police. “When things like this happen, there’s no trust,” said Kasim Walters, 17, of Flatbush. “We are trying to save his life,” Kelly responded. “And we are trying to save the life of other young people who are disproportionately victimized.” The “Nightline” segment also touched on the fatal shooting of Brooklyn teen Kimani Gray by police in March and featured comments by City Councilman Jumaane Williams (D-Brooklyn), a stop-and-frisk critic. The city Health Department reported this week that gun deaths in the city dropped nearly a third from 2000 to 2011. Kelly’s comments come during a lengthy federal trial on stop-and-frisk and a day after Mayor Bloomberg hammered his potential successors for criticizing the NYPD tactic. City Controller John Liu has described stop-and-frisk as racial profiling and called for its end, while other mayoral wanna-bes have said it needs to be reformed. City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, two other Democratic contenders, have also been vocal in their support for a bill that would create an inspector general to oversee the NYPD. The federal class-action lawsuit filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights against stop-and-frisk has entered its seventh week of trial. The trial is expected to conclude May 16.
