As previously reported Pepsi quickly pulled an ad showing the reality star helping stop racial injustice with a swig of Pepsi. “Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding”, the company said in a statement. “Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout.” Now Kendall’s releasing her own statement via “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” During the show’s season 10 premiere viewers saw her openly weep over the controversy. “When I first got this offer… I mean, it’s a huge company. The people I was following were so iconic and amazing,” said Kendall. “Michael Jackson has done it, Britney Spears has done it, Beyoncé has done it, Pink. The list goes on. So to get something like that was just… It was so exciting.” After I saw the reaction and I read what people had to say about it, I most definitely saw what went wrong. I was so stuck, and I really didn’t know what to do, and I completely shut down,” she added. “”The fact that I would offend or hurt other people was definitely not the intent. And that’s what got me the most, is that I would’ve ever made anyone else upset.” Awww, poor Pepsi peddling thang! Ever since the world learned that Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her third child , Teen Mom 2 fans have been desperately seeking new information about her baby daddy, Chris Lopez. For months, there was no official confirmation that Lopez got Lowry pregnant , and now that the cat’s out of the bag, details about Lopez remain hard to come by. And now it seems we may know why Lopez has been maintaining such a low profile. From the start, it was clear that Lopez was not seeking reality TV fame. In fact, in his one, brief appearance on Teen Mom 2 , he asked that his face be blurred. Now, it seems that Lopez wants no connection either to the show or to Kailyn. In the past, Kailyn has complained that she’ll be raising her third child on her own . It’s slowly becoming clear just how literally she meant that, as Radar Online is reporting today that Lopez will not be present at his child’s birth . We’ve known for several weeks that Kailyn and Chris broke up after a very brief fling, but it’s beginning to look like the split was not amicable, as was initially reported. It seems that in their first weeks apart, Chris and Kailyn planned to maintain a peaceful co-parenting relationship. Those plans have now been scrapped, and apparently, Lopez’s involvement in his child’s life will be limited to financial contributions. “In the beginning, he helped when she needed him,” a source close to Kailyn tells Radar Online. “Then they went their separate ways.” At this point, the relationship between Chris and Kailyn has deteriorated to the point that Lopez will likely not be in the delivery room the see his child enter the world. “She wants to give him the opportunity to see his child being born,” says the insider. “She never said Chris couldn’t be involved with his child. She would hope he would want that, but she won’t force it or chase him to do so.” Sadly, the tipster adds: “Out of spite or anger she doesn’t think he will even show up for the birth. Chris Cornell, a musician who rose to fame as the lead singer of Soundgarden before taking on the same role for Audioslave, died Wednesday night in Detroit. He was 52 years old. Brian Bumbery, a rep for the artist, has confirmed this sad piece of news to the Associated Press and other outlets. Via a statement to CNN, Bumbery says that Cornell was performing in The Motor City with Soundgarden, which had embarked on a domestic tour in April, when he passed away. He referred to the death as “sudden and unexpected,” saying in full: “His wife Vicky and family were shocked to learn of his sudden and unexpected passing, and they will be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause. “They would like to thank his fans for their continuous love and loyalty and ask that their privacy be respected at this time.” Cornell had just taken the stage on Wednesday evening at the Fox Theater in Detroit. Soundgarden was among the most prominent bands in the grunge music scene that dominated the 1990s. The band’s hits included “Spoonman,” ”Fell on Black Days,” ”Black Hole Sun,” “My Wave” and “The Day I Tried to Live.” Cornell started his career in Seattle back in 1984 when he helped form the popular group. We will need to await an autopsy before learning the cause of death, but Cornell was open through the years about his struggle with alcohol abuse and those close to him who died from a similar addiction. “I’ve lost a lot of young, brilliant friends, people that I thought were very inspired,” he told Rolling Stone in 2015, adding: “They’re all young and these guys all had limitless potential in their lives in front of them.” It’s true: With his passing, Cornell joins a long line of lead grunge rock singers who died at a young age. To wit: – Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home in 1994 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. – Alice in Chains’ original frontman, Layne Staley, died from a drug overdose in 2002. – Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots passed away of an accidental overdose in 2015. Soundgarden won two Grammy Awards in 1995. The track “Black Hole Sun” took home the Grammy for best hard rock performance, while the song “Spoonman” won for best metal performance that year. After the band broke up in 1997, Cornell performed solo for a few years prior to forming Audioslave. That super group included former Rage Against the Machine members Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford, and had a successful run in its own right. Soundgarden reunited in 2012 and released the band’s sixth studio album, “King Animal.” Wrote musician Dave Navarro upon learning Cornell had died: “SO SO stunned to hear about Chris Cornell! Such a terrible and sad loss! Thinking of his family tonight! RIP.” We, like so many fans, share the same sentiment. Why is Jana Duggar single? That's a question Duggar Nation has been asking for years, and fans have not shied away from offering their two cents, and then some. Some theories are more out there than others, obviously; Jana isn't secretly a monster underneath her long dresses and skirts (we think). But regardless of why the 27-year-old remains on the market, she continues to fascinate fans because WHY IS SHE ON THE MARKET?! With Jill, Jessa and Jinger all married and Joy-Anna not far behind, the eldest Duggar daughter does her own thing. It's a little baffling. Here's a look at all the rumors or reports we've read explaining this most unlikely phenomenon, and why they're likely true (or false). 1. She’s not allowed to date because Jim Bob needs her as a surrogate mom. This theory is both the longest-running and the most likely, given that Jana has been taking care of her younger siblings for her entire life (when she was born, the show was called 3 & Counting … just kidding). In all seriousness, she’s been a key part of raising her brothers and sisters for years, and even now, can be seen taking care of her nieces and nephews (like Josh’s daughter, above). Whether or not this correlates with Jim Bob turning a blind eye to suitors, or her simply being so put-upon that she can’t consider courting, or some combination of both? That we may never know for sure, but Jana earned the nickname “Cinderella Duggar” for a reason. 2. She’s infertile. In the Duggars’ world view, a woman’s value comes solely from the amount of babies she can crank out over the course of a lifetime, so if Jana doesn’t have that ability, she may not be “desirable” for Jim Bob and Michelle in terms of finding her a partner … and as such, she might as well be put to work, dovetailing with the above theory. 3. She’s a lesbian. Unlikely … but it has been rumored before on several occasions, and scientifically at least, 1-2 of the Duggars’ 19 kids being gay is plausible, maybe even likely. Jana hasn’t shown any interest in courting, and we can’t imagine there wouldn’t be interest from young men … if she’s attracted to women, her family would never admit it, or she would never admit it to them, and she would enter into a life of servitude to Jim Bob and Michelle. A stretch, but crazier things have happened. 4. She’s not impressed … by the Quiverfull movement. One fan theory is that she’s taken a Godly path, but not the controversial one espoused by her parents. Jim Bob and Michelle have embraced the “Quiverfull” movement, which basically means “be fruitful and multiply.” Jana, the theory goes, wants to embark on a path of celibacy, like the apostle Paul recommended. A little out there, but then again these are the Duggars. Can you rule that out? 5. She’s not allowed to date until John David does, or doesn’t want to. That’s just lunacy … but it is interesting that neither of the twins have entered into a courtship. Twins are known for a bond that few others understand or share. Perhaps they’re somehow looking to be paired off at the same time? 6. She’s not settling. (Or is too picky.) Crazy notion, right? That a 27-year-old woman just hasn’t felt strongly enough about a particular person yet? She basically said this last fall, telling TLC: “I don’t know what the next five years will look like. In some ways you’ve got hopes and dreams. Maybe I’ll meet the one and get married and have kids and stuff. There have been different guys come along and ask, but they haven’t been the right one.
