Jared Fogle Admits to Paying 16-Year-Old For Sex in Leaked Text Messages

Last month, Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle’s home was raided by federal authorities in connection with a child porn investigation. It was initially thought that the FBI was merely following up on an earlier investigation involving a former employee of Fogle’s charitable organization, and that Fogle himself was not under suspicion. As the weeks went by, however, sources came forward with stories of highly inappropriate conversations they’d had with the 37-year-old pitchman, including a reporter who claims Fogle told her “middle school girls are hot.” Now, the FBI has subpoenaed an affidavit containing text messages between Fogle and a female former Subway franchisee in which Fogle allegedly admitted to paying a 16-year-old girl to have sex with him. Sources familiar with the content of the messages say Fogle also encouraged the woman to offer sexual services on Craigslist in exchange for money. The recipient of the texts – who has asked to remain anonymous – says that she contacted Subway’s corporate office with a complaint about Fogle’s comments shortly after their conversation in 2008, but the fast food giant dismissed her concerns. Insiders say that the woman admitted she was in a sexual relationship with Fogle at the time that the messages were sent. Subway suspended its relationship with Fogle on July 7, after allegations of his sexual misconduct came to light.  It is unclear at this time if Fogle will face any criminal charges. Whoopi Goldberg Still Says Bill Cosby Is “Innocent” After He Admits To Dropping Pills In Drinks

Whoopi Goldbers Stands By Bill Cosby, Says He’s “Innocent” While Bill Cosby’s sworn admission to drugging and sedating women for sex is enough for some to backtrack on their support of the scandalized comedian, others are refusing to face that there may be some truth to the roughly 40 accusations against him. Whoopi Goldberg is still searching for additional proof, and she doesn’t care what you have to say about it. Via PageSix : Whoopi Goldberg is doubling down in her defense of Bill Cosby despite his admission in sworn testimony he gave women Quaaludes to have sex with them. “The View” host spoke about the most recent damning evidence against Cosby, which was revealed on Monday when previously sealed court documents were released. In a sworn deposition taken in 2005, the married entertainer admitted to purchasing Quaaludes with the intention of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with. “I think it’s, again, we’ll see what happens,” Goldberg said of the Cosby developments. “As more information comes out, people can make judgments. I don’t like snap judgments.” The TV host added she didn’t care what critics would say of her stance. “Save your texts; save your nasty comments. I don’t care. I say this because this is my opinion, and in America, still, I know it’s a shock, but you are still innocent until proven guilty,” she said. “He has not been proven.” Does Whoopi need to watch the man drug a woman and have sex with her sleeping body in person to believe what he ADMITTED TO DOING out of his own mouth? Raven Symone tiptoed around the topic of Bill’s guilt, noting that the only reason she has a career is because of him: Meanwhile, co-host Raven-Symoné, who starred on “The Cosby Show” alongside the comedian, seemed hesitant to chime in during the conversation. She admitted it was a tough topic for her to discuss. “I don’t really like to discuss [this] because he is the reason I am on this panel in the first place. He gave me my first job,” she said. “You need proof and then I will be able to give my judgment here or there.” Do YOU believe someone can still be considered innocent of something they admit themselves that they did?

Mumford & Sons Disses Jay Z, Other Artists: What Did They Say?!?

Mumford & Sons are not thrilled with music service Tidal and the artists who’ve signed on with them. They offered up a strong opinion regarding Tidal’s subscription based music streaming service .  In an interview with The Daily Beast, the UK folk band didn’t hold back when Tidal came up in the conversation. Interviewer Marlow Stern described how the subject of Tidal was “greeted by a series of loud fart sounds.” The music streaming service, costing $9.99-$19.99, has the involvement of many high profile musical figures, including Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, Jason Aldean, Alicia Keys, Jack White, Daft Punk, and Kanye West.  Marcus Mumford explained the group’s disdain for Tidal: “We wouldn’t have joined it anyway, even if they had asked. We don’t want to be tribal. I think smaller bands should get paid more for it, too. Bigger bands have other ways of making money, so I don’t think you can complain. A band of our size shouldn’t be complaining. And when they say it’s artist-owned, it’s owned by those rich, wealthy artists.” Mumford & Sons guitarist Winston Marshall was a bit more direct with his words calling the artists involved “new school fucking plutocrats.” He also wanted to be clear that although they don’t like Tidal, they aren’t taking the same stance as Taylor Swift took against Spotify : “We don’t want to be part of some Tidal ‘streaming revolution’ nor do we want to be Taylor Swift and be anti-it.” “I don’t understand her argument, either. The focus is slightly missed. Music is changing. It’s fucking changing. This is how people are going to listen to music now – streaming. So diversify as a band. It doesn’t mean selling your songs to adverts. We look at our albums as stand-alone pieces of art, and also as adverts for our live shows.” Mumford chimed in again, saying:  “What I’m not into is the tribalistic aspect of it – people trying to corner bits of the market, and put their face on it. That’s just commercial bullshit. We hire people to do that for us rather than having to do that ourselves. We just want to play music, and I don’t want to align myself with Spotify, Beats, Tidal, or whatever. “We want people to listen to our music in their most comfortable way, and if they’re not up for paying for it, I don’t really care.” View Slideshow: 21 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming
