Wow, I never once in my life thought I’d be writing a…

Wow, I never once in my life thought I’d be writing a “mybieberexperience” so to anyone reading this, honestly, NEVER SAY NEVER. It’s the truth. I’m Sarah and I’m 15 years old. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Okay well this is my Bieber experience! So yeah I live in Pittsburgh, PA right? But I met Justin in L.A. outside of his studio. I drove for 3 days, 14 hours each day, in a tiny car, across the country to California. You can guess why right? To see if I could even get a glimpse of Justin! See I’ve never seen Justin live. Last time he came to my city, I couldn’t afford a ticket to his concert.. so I didn’t get to go. I’ve never seen him in person and I thought it would be the coolest thing if the very first time I saw him in person, I was meeting him! My family thought I drove across the country to help my sister settle into college? But really I would have never gotten into that car and suffered those 14 hour long car rides if my sister didn’t promise to take me to L.A. Well, once we got to California it was 3 days of agonizing waiting/wondering if I would even see him. My sister drove me an hour from where we are at in that horrible L.A. traffic just to see if I could catch a glimpse of him. Well, after an hour and a half driving blindly through traffic and getting lost more than once, we finally pulled up to the dance studio. My heart was beating faster than I could breathe. I was a wreck to say the least. I got out of the car with my brother and headed to the back of the line. I sat down and legit was shaking so badly. I was on the phone with my friend @JDBdreamBelieb and she asked what time it was and I couldn’t even tell her cause I was shaking like crazy. Well I sat down for a little as my sister and her friend Jesse came after parking like a mile away. I met legit some of the SWEETEST beliebers. We talked and they helped calm me down. And kept me from having a crying attack right there, before Justin even came out. So then after like 20 minutes it got all quiet… I was freaking out. Everyone stood up and people kept shushing everyone. Then everyone started walking one way and let me tell you, I was internally screaming my lungs out. Was I actually going to meet the boy who saved my life? The boy who I drove across the country for?! We were waking and I suddenly see this gorgeous amazing looking kid in bright red Supras, grey Chachimama sweats, and a red tank-top and of course his hat. I grabbed my brother’s shoulder to keep from screaming. My brother simply responds with, “Hey look it’s Bieber.” I couldn’t take it. I was so close to crying. I got to the back of the line and waited to meet him. My hands were sweaty and I was breathing like a maniac. These two amazing, wonderful beliebers told me to go in front of them. They said they’ve met him before and the fact that I’ve never seen him before and drove all this way, they said I deserved it! I wanted to cry even more. My brother and sister made a huge deal about how sweet and different beliebers are. “They are so nice, like you guys care for each other. And every time we asked you guys something you guys would say we, like you’re all connected.” All I could answer was, “We’re a family.” ANYWAY. I was next in line to meet him. I was so nervous I felt like vomiting, so gross but true. Finally moment of truth, it was my turn. I walked up to him and he opened his arms for a hug yet I stupidly still asked, “Can I hug you?!” He smiled and was like, “Yeah of course!” And hugged me. Let me tell you, I never wanted to let go. So then we took our pictures and I turned to him before I walked away. Somehow we ended up holding hands as I drifted to the side, I looked in his eyes and I said sincerely from the bottom of my heart, “Justin. Thank you for saving my life.” He was smiling but when I said that his eyes went a bit wide and he looked a little caught off guard. He quickly replied, “Oh my gosh, yeah of course. You’re welcome,” and he was still holding my hands may I add. He looked a bit concerned to me, but like I mean if someone said, “Thanks for saving my life” that basically means they were on the edge of like suicide. Which yeah he saved me from that. But then after he told me that I was like, “No seriously Justin, thank you so so much.” I felt like crying. He squeezed my hand so tight and smiled at me. “Seriously no you’re so welcome I..” He couldn’t like finish his sentence. I smiled so wide and walked away. I broke down crying on the sidewalk legit like 2 seconds after. All I’ve ever dreamed about was telling him how he saved my life, and now the boy of my dreams finally knows. I heard him talking to my brother and sister and I started laughing. Then Angelina and Jade, the two amazing sweet beliebers who let me go ahead of them, came over and hugged me. I was like, “I want to cry but I have no tears!” It was the best day of my life. I got to my car and called my mom. When I uttered the words, “I just met Justin Bieber.” She couldn’t understand me cause I started bawling my eyes out. I never imagined in my life I’d be writing this. THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME. Thank you so much for making my dreams come true Justin. Sincerely your belieber, Sarah. -@ShakeItForMeJDB Read the original here: Wow, I never once in my life thought I’d be writing a…

Beyond The Blockbuster: Mike Birbiglia’s Sleepwalk With Me, Epic Doc Samsara, Soccer In The Slums And More

Expendables 2 looks likely to top the box office across the U.S. again, but naturally there are others waiting in the wings to capture your hard earned box office dollars and the choices do not have to be limited to studio carry-overs. Sleepwalk with Me is looking like an immediate hit, though most audiences across the U.S. will have to wait (but go for it New York). Samsara took a long, long path to its theatrical roll out this weekend, with an epic that travels the world. And two Latin American films will hit U.S. screens today. Hermano centers on two aspiring football (OK, ‘soccer’) stars who grow up in Venezuelan slums and Neighbouring Sounds won accolades at film festivals about a middle class Brazilian neighborhood that undergoes change once a private security firm arrives… Sleepwalk with Me Director: Mike Birbiglia, Seth Barrish Writers: Mike Birbiglia, Joe Birbiglia, Ira Glass, Seth Barrish Opens: New York’s IFC Center exclusively this weekend with Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Portland, Seattle and more in coming weekends. Indications point to a strong opening for the Sundance film that won an audience prize at the festival. Sleepwalk with Me . revolves around a burgeoning stand-up comedian who struggles with the stress of a stalled career, a stale relationship and frequent episodes of sleepwalking. “We are selling it as the first film from the creators of This American Life ,” an IFC Films exec noted. “We are also capitalizing on the fact that Mike Birbiglia and a cast of up-and-coming and established comics are heavily featured in the film.” Synopsis: Winner of a 2012 Audience Award at Sundance, comedian Mike Birbiglia wrote, directed and stars in this sincere and hilarious film, based on his off-Broadway show and bestselling book. It’s also the first movie co-written by Ira Glass and co-produced by “This American Life.”  The  story: when an aspiring stand-up fails to express his true feelings about his girlfriend and his stalled career, his anxiety comes out in increasingly funny and dangerous sleepwalking incidents. SLEEPWALK WITH ME features Lauren Ambrose (“Six Feet Under”), Carol Kane (“Taxi”), James Rebhorn (“Meet the Parents”), Cristin Milioti (star of Broadway’s “Once”), plus comedians Marc Maron, Kristen Schaal, Wyatt Cenac, Jesse Klein, Henry Phillips and David Wain. Samsara Writer-Director: Ron Fricke Opens: New York and Seattle this weekend followed by Los Angeles on August 31st followed by a national roll out. “I think that the challenges were making a film that doesn’t have a traditional screenplay or structure ahead of time and trusting that you’ll find the film as it’s made,” said writer and producer Mark Magidson. “We had a structural bookend that’s created and destroyed at the beginning and end of the film. Once we had that, it was a big relief. The film came together in the editing process.” Spanning five years with locations in 25 countries, the film travels to sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes and natural wonders. Synopsis: Expanding on the themes they developed in Baraka (1992) and Chronos (1985), Samsara explores the wonders of our world from the mundane to the miraculous, looking into the unfathomable reaches of man’s spirituality and the human experience. Neither a traditional documentary nor a travelogue, Samsara takes the form of a nonverbal, guided meditation. Through powerful images, the film illuminates the links between humanity and the rest of nature, showing how our life cycle mirrors the rhythm of the planet. The filmmakers approach non verbal filmmaking with an understanding that it must live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence. Samsara was photographed entirely in 70mm film utilizing both standard frame rates and with a motion control time-lapse camera designed specifically for this project. This camera system allows perspective shifts to reveal extraordinary views of ordinary scenes. The images were then transferred through the highest resolution scanning process available to the new 4K digital projection format that allows for mesmerizing images of unprecedented clarity. Samsara will be a showpiece for the new, high-resolution 4K digital projection, the HD format, as well as standard digital and film projection. Hermano (Brother) Director: Marcel Rasquin Writers: Rohan Jones, Marcel Rasquin Cast: Fernando Moreno, Eliú Armas, Alí Rondon, Beto Benites, Gonzalo Cubero Opens: In 51 theaters in 12 markets, concentrated in states along the U.S./Mexican border as well as Chicago and New York. This Venezuelan film did not go through official government channels en route to the big screen unlike much of the country’s domestic output. Director Marcel Rasquin attended film school in Australia and wrote the script in collaboration with Aussie, Rohan Jones. “The film has an international outlook,” said exec Ed Arentz from Hermano’s U.S. distributor Music Box Films. “The story is about a family that finds a boy in a slum and the two [brothers] grow up together and aspire to be professional football (soccer) players. They are also drawn back to the criminality of where they grew up.” Synopsis: Raised as brothers, intense teammates and competitors on the soccer field – the gregarious, swaggering Julio (Eliu Armas) and the wiry, focused Daniel/“Gato” (Fernando Moreno) have remained virtually inseparable ever since the newborn Daniel was found abandoned in a trash heap in their La Ceniza slum. The opportunity of their lives arrives when a football scout invites them to try out for the city’s top professional team, just as a tragic act of violence threatens to tear them apart and prevent them from achieving their dreams. Neighboring Sounds Director: Kleber Medonca Filho Cast: Irma Brown, Sebastião Formiga, Gustavo Jahn, Maeve Jinkings, Irandhir Santos Opens: In New York this weekend followed by 10 markets in Detroit, Seattle and Florida locations. Also heading to DVD and VOD in early 2013. Brazilian film Neighboring Sounds debuted under the radar at the International Film Festival Rotterdam last winter, but it picked up a Critics Week prize, elevating its prospects and awareness. “We heard about the film right after Rotterdam,” said Ryan Krivoshey, director of distribution at Cinema Guild. “We asked for a screener and we were totally blown away.” The programmers at New York’s New Directors/New Films series also took notice and slotted the feature that looks at the changes a middle-class Brazilian neighborhood undergoes after the arrival of an independent private security company. Synopsis: A palpable sense of unease hangs over a single city block in the coastal town of Recife, Brazil. Home to prosperous families and the servants who work for them, the area is ruled by an aging patriarch and his sons. When a private security firm is reluctantly brought in to protect the residents from a recent spate of petty crime, it unleashes the fears, anxieties and resentments of a divided society still haunted by its troubled past. Kleber Mendonça Filho’s Neighboring Sounds is a thrilling debut by a major new voice in world cinema. Wild Horse, Wild Ride Directors: Alex Dawson, Greg Gricus Opens: In limited showings beginning Friday. Synopsis: Each year, through the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge, 100 people across the country attempt to tame a wild mustang in 100 days. Following this dangerous and harrowing feat performed by everyday people from every walk of life, is a public showcase that determines whether these horses can be saved from a life in captivity. Complete with first-hand footage and interviews, Wild Horse Wild Ride provides an in-depth look at the incredible relationship that blossoms between man and animal. General Education Director: Tom Morris Cast: Chris Sheffield, Janeane Garofalo, Larry Miller, Maiara Walsh, Elaine Hendrix, Bobby Campo, Mercedes Masohn, Tom Maden Opens: In theatrical limited release as we’ll as iTunes and VOD Synopsis: Levi Collins is set to go to the local University on a tennis scholarship, but he forgot to tell his parents one thing — he didn’t graduate. As a result, he must take summer school before his mom and dad discover he’s failed senior science. At school, Levi falls in love with his classmate, Katie, and learns that he has to make a choice between playing tennis and receiving a proper education. General Education is a quirky comedy about a family learning to grow together. General Education – Official Trailer 2012 from Pelican House Productions on Vimeo .

Lizzy Caplan As She-Hulk? Actress Considers A Marvel Superhero Future — Alongside a Familiar Party Down Co-Star

Scarlett Johansson  might have some competition from Lizzy Caplan  in the Avengers world. Although the short film  Item 47 , which stars Caplan, hasn’t officially debuted yet — it’s one of the many Avengers Blu-ray extras, due out September 25 — the actress had fun riffing on the possibilities if her appearance in the one-shot  S.H.I.E.L.D adventure could lead to to her suiting up as a Marvel superheroine. “Well, I can definitely foresee Marvel not only asking me to be the star of one of their action movies from that short, but also [asking me] to cast the other people in the movie,” Caplan coyly replied during an interview for her latest picture, Bachelorette . “So I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and I think we would be…” she trailed off before turning to Bachelorette (and former Party Down ) co-star, Adam Scott, for assistance. “I need to think of some Marvel character…” she whispered with a laugh, before adding enthusiastically, “Adam would be the She-Hulk, and I would just be a regular person!” Her response suggests that in any future Marvel projects she would just be playing her Item 47 character, Claire, a human who (with Jesse Bradford) comes across an extraterrestrial weapon and goes on a crime spree — only battling a superhero instead of holding up banks. However, given her natural quick wit and the image of her toting a Chitauri gun in Item 47 , we could envision her fitting right in with Iron Man & Co. Think about it — how fantastic would it be to see Caplan and Robert Downey Jr. play off of each other? Since Caplan is already (literally) in the door at S.H.I.E.L.D., they could have her suited up and smashing box offices across the country in no time. But until Marvel makes a decision, Caplan is planning to make a grand entrance in Pawnee, Ind. “I think she would be great on [ Parks and Recreation ],” Scott said, Caplan quickly interrupting him: “As She-Hulk!” And, of course, Movieline had to suggest that he would run into the superhero when his character, Ben Wyatt, heads to D.C. for a new job. “I mean, spoiler alert: I know for sure The Hulk is going to be a big part of this upcoming season,” Scott said with a laugh. “She-Hulk, I’m not totally sure about, but we can look into it.” Previously: Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford Talk Item 47 at Comic-Con Alyse Whitney is an editor at Wetpaint Entertainment in New York City. Her work has been featured on TVLine, Movieline, and Bon Appétit, among others. You can find her on Twitter @AlyseWhitney.

Randy Travis Labeled "Extremely Intoxicated," Hospitalized After Church Brawl

Randy Travis reportedly got himself into a lot more trouble this morning with alcohol. Just two weeks after the country singer was arrested for DUI – following a car accident in which he appeared to be driving naked – and six months after he was popped for public drunkenness , Travis was hospitalized due to injuries suffered in a church parking lot brawl around 1 a.m. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that they responded to the incident after receiving a tip about two men fighting and, upon arriving at the scene, escorted both to the hospital. One onlooker says Travis appeared to be “extremely intoxicated,” while another insider claims the fisticuffs took place over a female. No word yet from the artist or anyone in his camp. Dude clearly is in need of some serious help. [Photo: WENN.com]

Kelly Clarkson Tackles Gotye, "Somebody That I Used to Know"

Kelly Clarkson has now covered the two biggest hits of 2012. As the first-ever American Idol makes her way around the country on tour, she’s been taking fan requests at each stop. And just a few days ago that request involved a version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s ” Call Me Maybe .” Last night, meanwhile, Clarkson did her best impression of Gotye and his smash “Somebody That I Used to Know,” tackling both parts of the track and – did you really expect anything else? – knocking the cover out of the park. Or out of the beach, in this case, as the concert was set at Jones Beach in Long Island. Watch the rendition now:

Rosie O’Donnell Receives Well Wishes from… Donald Trump?!?

Rosie O’Donnell is resting comfortably at home today, following a major health scare last week: the former talk show host suffered a heart attack and considers herself lucky to be alive. But might have that frightening incident have led to a thawing in one of Hollywood’s most icy feuds? After learning of the news, Donald Trump – the same Donald Trump who has referred to Rosie as a “pig, a “degenerate” (below) and ” a loser ” – actually Tweeted the following message to his occasional rival: “Rosie, get better fast. I’m starting to miss you!”

Gabriel Aubry Warns Judge: Halle Berry Could Die!

Halle Berry is engaged to Olivier Martinez and hopes to make her permanent residence in her fiance’s native country of France . But Gabriel Aubry does not want his ex-girlfriend taking his daughter so far away, and the model’s attorney made a convincing argument in court today in an attempt to force Berry to remain in the United States: She might die abroad!!! Seriously. Aubry’s lawyer cited the 1997 car accident that took Princess Diana’s life – which resulted from a paparazzi chase – as an example that the country is no place for celebrities and argued that Berry would be placing the life of four-year old Nahla in danger. However, Berry’s lawyer responded with testimony from several French officials, all of whom verified that France is especially strict when it comes to the paparazzi; it’s illegal to snap photos of stars against their will, under any circumstance, in that country. The actress is already on the hook for $20,000 per month to Aubry in child support, but the actual issue of custody and living arrangement isn’t expected to be settled any time soon. Baby Daddy Drama: Gabriel “K-Fraudy” Aubry Says Halle Berry Will Die Just Like Princess Diana Did!

Gabriel Aubry Says Halle Berry Will Die Like Princess Diana …If she moves Nahla to France to live with their crazy-azz paparazzi! Via TMZ: Halle Berry faces the same tragic fate as Princess Diana if she moves to France — so said Gabriel Aubry’s attorney in L.A. court … TMZ has learned. As we reported, Halle and Gabriel are embroiled in a court battle over whether Halle should be allowed to move to France with the ex-couple’s daughter Nahla. Halle believes the kid will be better protected from aggressive paparazzi in France … thanks to the country’s strict anti-pap laws. But Gabriel’s attorney argued Halle and Nahla would be walking right into the lion’s den — because France is the same country where Princess Diana was killed in a wild paparazzi car chase back in 1997. Halle’s lawyer called several French lawyers — who testified that French judges will nail any photog who goes after a celeb. Under French laws, paparazzi can’t photograph celebrities who don’t want their pictures taken — even if they’re out in public. Photogs who violate the law can be sued for big bucks, and if they harass the celeb they can be criminally prosecuted. Do you agree with Catch Fade Gabe, or is he just being extra??
