Taylor Swift's “Endgame” music video quietly dropped, folks! It features partying, drinking, dancing, and more drinking. Oh, and some hefty appearances by Ed Sheeran and Future. Check it out below! Taylor Swift was tremendously popular, even a decade ago. But, for a while, she was a very niche celebrity. Not only was she a hopeless romantic, her music was primarily of the Country variety. That changed with her 2014 album, 1989 . And those of us who weren't already became obsessed with the undeniably pleasant music of one Ms. Swift. For more than a year, Taylor Swift was sailing high above the clouds. Everyone wanted to be on her side and no one wanted to cross her. Until, in 2016, she broke up with underwear model and DJ Calvin Harris. After it was revealed that she had written (and even performed some uncredited vocals in) his biggest hit song, he lashed out at her on Twitter, referencing her feud with Katy. A number of people, fatigued with Taylor's overexposure in the media, began to turn on her. And that was when Kim Kardashian struck, releasing a series of months old, edited videos of a conversation between Taylor and Kanye that appeared to frame Taylor Swift as dishonest or “playing the victim.” What's important to remember about the fued-related songs on Taylor Swift's Reputation album is that … they're not really part of the feud. These songs aren't weapons designed to hurt Kim Kardashian. And we don't know how someone would go about “hurting” Kanye with music. She slams Kanye with her music , but the guy basically lives on his own private planet. Taylor's purpose — in addition to telling her story — is much more practical. You know they say that success is the best revenge? Well, Taylor Swift is really good at revenge. Reputation was the top-selling album of 2017. Because of course it was. Taylor's success is taking everything that Kim threw at her in 2016 and singing about it for heaps of cold, hard cash. Several of the songs directly reference the feud. Kim, though she's never had trouble being wealthy and is arguably a master at turning bad press into a financial gain, won't find it so easy to directly monetize her side of the feud. Unless she, like, comes out with some kind of fragrance line called “Snake Repellant” or whatever. Based on what Taylor put into her “Endgame” music video, you'd think that she'd taken to drinking to cope with her epic feud and the resulting fallout. Of course, the music video just shows her at a bunch of parties, where drinking is pretty standard. So there's that. Taylor's big guns for the music video are her guest stars. Remember when Reputation came out, and people were like “wait, did she just get Ed Sheeran to rap?” That was this song. Long the original track, this music video features both Ed Sheeran and Future. Overall, this video is less powerful than “Look What You Made Me Do” or the high-ish concept video fro “Are You Ready For It.” And, in my opinion, so is the song. (My bestie likes “Endgame” a lot, though) Some of us prefer the videos with stunning visuals to the ones with drinking and partying. We can all drink and party, even if we can't do it with quite Taylor's budget. You know what music videos we'd really like to see from Taylor? “This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things” and “Getaway Car.” Those were two of the best songs on the whole dang album and don't get the attention that they deserve. A nice music video or two could change that.

T rump has made immigration such a hot button issue that even the most radical of Republicans feel comfortable coming forward with their anti-immigrant sentiments. On Fox News this past Friday night , Amy Tarkanian , who is the former Nevada state GOP chairperson (her husband is Danny Tarkanian , who is currently running for the U.S.Senate for the seventh time — lost six times from 2004 – 2016 ), debated SiriusXM radio host and NewsOne contributing editor Clay Cane about immigration. Trump wants to end DACA after a bogus report was released saying that “About one in five inmates in federal prison are foreign-born, and more than 90 percent of those are in the United States illegally.” While defending Trump, Clay reminded Amy that her and her husband (this could be why he lost six Senate races) have created an entire political career on being anti-immigrant and actually campaigned for racial profiling “just in case” someone is illegal. According to The Las Vegas Review-Journal , “Tarkanian said he supported a harsh law in Arizona, including profiling of Hispanics by police, who could ask if they’re in the country legally if stopped for any reason.” Yep, Amy and her husband advocated for police to question the immigration status of “anyone” they suspect. The Supreme Court found the law to be constitutional. Watch Clay’s classy reminder: As for the report that “one in five inmates in federal prison are foreign-born, and more than 90 percent of those are in the United States illegally.” What the report doesn’t tell you that is the majority of these undocumented workers are being incarcerated for immigration offenses — not violent crimes. Therefore, instead of the government deporting them immediately, they are kept in the prison system to get as much free labor out of them as possible. Sound very Jim Crow, doesn’t? Tom Jawetz, the vice president for immigration policy at the Center for American Progress, told the New York Times . “The administration will take any opportunity possible to twist facts to demonize immigrants. The vast majority of immigrants in federal prison are there for crimes that only immigrants can be charged with — illegal entry and illegal entry after removal. When you cook the books you shouldn’t pretend to be surprised by the results.” Undocumented workers touch the life of every American, from the food we eat to the close we wear. Our economy has depended on the cheap labor of undocumented workers for years. For 11 million who are here, they need a pathway to citizenship not remixed versions of Jim Crow laws. Let’s face it: No one is entirely sure why so many people are excited for Prince Harry to marry Meghan Markle. She’s really just an actress best known for her role on the light-hearted USA Network drama Suits, while he’s a handsome party animal who happened to have been born into a famous family. Together, the couple has no real power or tangible influence of any kind. But while we do occasionally wonder why millions of people have the Harry/Markle wedding date (May 19, 2018!) circled on their calendar, we know for certain why Great Britain itself is excited for the nuptials: Cold, hard cash. And A LOT of it. According to Aimee Dunne, a London-based wedding planner who spoke to CNN, the Harry and Meghan wedding will cost about $670,000 (or 500,00 pounds). That’s a chunk of change, right? Yes. But it pales, significantly, in comparison to how much the next Royal Wedding will rake in . According to Express, the marriage of Prince Harry and the Suits actress is estimated to bring about $670 million into the country. We’ll give you a few moments to let that sink is… $670 million!!!!!! From where does this figure come from? We turn to David Haigh from Brand Finance for that answer. He predicts that tourism to London alone around the time of the wedding could generate about $540 million dollars in “hotel bookings,” as well as restaurant and pub visits. Haigh also looks at the way Kate Middleton has boosted various brands (she wears a certain designer’s dress… and it gets sold out in mere minutes the next day) and thinks Markle could have a similiar effect. “Meghan Markle is an accomplished actress in her own right, with a global popularity and a strong personal brand,” the financial advisor explains, adding: “It can be expected that she will join the Duchess of Cambridge as a great ambassador of the monarchy and British brands in general, especially in her native United States and in Canada where she recently lived.” Along with tourism, you can expect sales wedding memorabilia to rise exponentially over the next year or so. Just consider the following items, which are already on sale and whose profits will go to Queen Elizabeth’s estate. Now imagine the uptick in mugs, napkins and everything else you can imagine after the stars are actually married! Just by holding their wedding on a Saturday, meanwhile, Harry and Meghan have saved the country the expense of creating a bank holiday. With so many citizens so interested in the ceremony, there likely would have been a call to close businesses for the occasion. This could have cost the economy millions, if not billions. In a recent interview with The Blast , the man who killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin said that he wants to kill JAY-Z because of his upcoming documentary series Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story . He also claimed that he would feed the 4:44 rapper to the alligators too. Yeah, he tried it. Apparently, The Blast sat down with Zimmerman who complained that two weeks ago the film’s production team, including its producer Michael Gasparro, made unannounced visits to his parents and uncle’s homes in Florida in an attempt to get them on camera. Of course, he wouldn’t elaborate on what constituted harassment or whether his family agreed to be interviewed. That, and he didn’t say whether or not his ex-wife received payment for being interviewed. However, he was clear: “Anyone who f***s with my parents will be fed to an alligator.” Boy bye.
