Tika Sumpter On The Cover Of Fit Pregnancy Tika Sumpter sure makes pregnancy look REALLY good. The ‘Southside With You’ star covers the October 2016 issue of Fit Pregnancy magazine. Not only does she look stunning inside, but she also gives a lot of juicy inside scoops — including what her parents and “Haves And Have Nots” boss Tyler Perry had to say when she revealed her pregnancy to them. Check out that answer and more excerpts when you continue. On keeping it under wraps…but eventually telling your boss: “I didn’t want to hear, ‘Who’s the dad? Are you with the dad?’ Social media can be harsh, and I’m a mama bear, protective of my family. So that’s why I waited to tell people, including some friends. My friends weren’t mad at me. They said, ‘You did it the way you wanted to do it. You’re an inspiration.’” “It’s hard to be pregnant, because you get scared about your job. I even felt worried about telling my agent and manager. Then when I was five months, Tyler Perry [her boss, the creator of The Haves and Have Nots] texted me, ‘Are you pregnant?’ Inside, I was thinking, ‘Oh, my god, how did he know?’ I wrote back, ‘What are you talking about? You’re crazy!’ But when I saw him that afternoon, I told him. He just said, ‘I knew it! Tika, this is going to be the best time of your life.’ I feel lucky that he’s been so supportive.” That’s definitely the way that a boss (especially of TP’s stature) should react. Lou Pearlman Dies; Backstreet Boys, ‘NSync Creator Was 62

Lou Pearlman, the infamous record producer who created such boy bands as The Backstreet Boys and ‘NSync, died in prison on Thursday, according to a Federal Bureau of Prisons record. He was 62 years old. The cause of death is believed to have been an undisclosed illness. Known in during the heyday of his career “Big Poppa,” Pearlman was one of the world’s most successful music producers in the 1990s. Based in Orlando, he created The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, LFO and O-Town. In 2000, however, members of The Backstreet Boys filed a lawsuit against their manager, claiming that Pearlman had set up their contract in an unfair manner. Via court documents, the band alleged that they had only received $300,000 …while Pearlman received millions. Soon afterwards, NSYNC also filed a similar lawsuit, as did Aaron Carter (pictured below with Pearlman) in 2002. Still, it wasn’t until 2006 when Pearlman got into real legal trouble. At that time, investigators discovered that he had defrauded investors of over $300 million in a Ponzi scheme. He did so by somehow convincing wealthy investors to put their money into shell corporations that did not exist. Pearlman fled to Indonesia in response to the charges and was captured in 2007. A year later, Pearlman pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering, conspiracy and fraud. He was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, although a judge ruled that Pearlman could reduce his prison time ; for every million he paid back, the judge would take one month off his sentence. Pearlman never paid a dime. “Word is that #LouPearlman has passed away,” Lance Bass wrote in response to this news, adding: “He might not have been a stand-up businessman, but I wouldn’t be doing what I love today w/out his influence. RIP Lou.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Passed Away in 2016: Gone, But Not Forgotten Pearlman was a diabetic who suffered a stroke in 2010. “It was definitely a wake-up call,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at the time, adding that he had since lost 75 pounds by walking around the prison track. Stupid Americans: “Homeland Is Racist” Graffiti Gets Airtime During Showtime Hit Drama

Show Creators Embrace “Homeland Is Racist” Graffiti Prank For Being Subversive Three Arabic-speaking street artists hired by the Showtime series “Homeland” to create realistic graffiti for the Season Four set instead wrote “Homeland is racist,” “Homeland is a joke” and “#blacklivesmatter” along with other subversive messages — then released a statement owning up to their prank and calling out the show for it’s inaccurate and biased depictions of the Muslim world. According to NY Daily News reports : “It was our moment to make our point by subverting the message using the show itself,” wrote Egyptian artist Heba Amin and her fellow artists Caram Kapp and Stone. “We wish we’d caught these images before they made it to air,” Alex Gansa, the creator of “Homeland,” told the Daily News in a statement about the stunt, which had former CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) walking past graffiti declaring that the show was racist. “However, as ‘Homeland’ always strives to be subversive in its own right and a stimulus for conversation, we can’t help but admire this act of artistic sabotage. In June, the show’s production company hired the trio for a two-day job in Berlin writing apolitical graffiti on a set depicting a Syrian refugee camp, the artists wrote. They were given images of graffiti supporting Syrian president Bashar al-Assad as a reference and told it was “OK, of course,” to write “Mohamed is the greatest” — but busy crew members failed to notice when the three artists went rogue. “In their eyes, Arabic script is merely a supplementary visual that completes the horror-fantasy of the Middle East, a poster image dehumanizing an entire region to human-less figures in black burkas and moreover, this season, to refugees,” the artists wrote. “The show has thus created a chain of causality with Arabs at its beginning and as its outcome — their own victims and executioners at the same time.” Wow, that is pretty impressive, but do you think someone may lose their job over this? Seems like some fact checker or production assistant should have been on hand to translate. Do y’all watch “Homeland”? Everything is about to change on  Grey's Anatomy Season 12 . Actually, correction: According to Meredith in the first promo for new fall episodes, everything has already changed. The 21-second teaser gives us a look at Meredith lying alone in bed (Rest in Peace, Derek Shepherd), along with some demolition work taking place in her house and some enthusiastic high-fives taking place at work. Oh, and someone gets punched in the face in the hospital. That also happens here Creator Shonda Rhimes has promised a “lighter tone” for the series this fall, though the question still remains: Will people tune in now that Patrick Dempsey is gone? Or will they continue to hold his character's death, and the way it was handled, against the long-running drama? So Sad: Styles P Reveals That His Daughter Committed Suicide

This is just terrible … Styles P Reveals His Daughter’s Suicide Styles P is sharing some sad news with fans. The Lox rapper wrote a letter to fans today to share that his daughter Tai Hing committed suicide back in June. I rarely speak on my personal issues and i usually express my pain the through music but today I will share a little with you last month my wife and I lost a daughter and my son lost a sister . My baby girl took her life and there are no words to describe the day to day pain we have to endure and maintain through but in dealing with pain you find yourself dealing with the creator and asking questions and going through emotions most would not understand. So I’m taking this time out to express a few things to y’all because life is short and we are not promised tomorrow. I like to deal with simple math I know I am 180- 180+ but im trying my best to live on the positive side of things . I have truly tried to live up to the code of being a gentleman and gangster to fullest of my ability. I have been chasing the dollar bill since I was 12 years old I hustled I worked legal jobs and even manage to make my dream of making it as a rapper come true I have popped bottles before it was the thing to do , I have owned beamers, benzos , rovers, trucks etc etc etc I have lived in the ritz ,owned condos , houses traveled a lot of places etc etc etc but I can honestly tell you don’t none of that sh*t add up or equal to love!! I have lost my brother , father , aunt , grandmother in law and too many good friends/ brothers and now my daughter!!!! But the only thing that can be done is to leave it in the creators hands . But I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t take this time out to say from the most humbled part of my heart and soul to say to yall that the dream most of us chase is not !!I repeat is not !!more valuable than the love you get from your family and friends it may seem like it is but it ain’t they print money and make material shit everyday but once you used a love one that’s it the spirit is with you but you will miss the physical and Won’t be able to speak to them how you want to until you get home to the other side. So I just want to tell yall keep it family 1st and don’t get lost and lose your focus the fam is way more important than anything else …. We lost a daughter but gained an angel . Love is love ..ghost Such sad news. Condolences to Styles P and his family.
