I’ve been trying to meet Justin since 2009. He’s been my idol for 4 years now. I’ve participated in a lot of contests but I never won. I wanted to buy M&G tickets but they were sold out so I got normal tickets. One day, I was on bieberfever.com and I saw this contest to win M&G to the show in my city. I was a member so I decided to enter. My show was on November 26 th 2012, and on November 25 th 2012 I’ve got an email from BieberFever saying that I won the contest. I’ve never screamed like that, I was so excited I couldn’t believe it, I’ve never been lucky in these kind of things. Me and my friend have planned to go around the Bell Centre to maybe meet the crew or Justin, so we went even though we were already going to meet him. We waited 5 hours outside in the cold but it was too cold so we left at 1:30 to go to Starbucks. At around 4:00 p.m. we went to pick up our M&G wristbands. It was really long but we finally got in. In the line up, Dan showed up because he knew some people in the line. He stayed there for the entire time we were waiting. When it was time to meet Justin we went in the little tent. He said, “Hey guys” and I said “Hi Justin!” I wanted to hug him but the security told us we didn’t have time so he took me by the hips and put me behind him. We took the picture and then the security guard pushed me away. I said ‘JUSTIN’ and he turned around and looked at me and smile. I gave him the letter I wrote for him and he was like, “Omg this is for me?” He was really happy. I said, “Yes! Goodbye I love you so much,” and he said, “Aw I love you too,” with the cutest smile. He was so flawless and beautiful, and he smelled amazing. It was only 15 seconds but it was perfect. Then when I got out, Kenny, Jeremy, Jaxon and Jazzy were standing there. I said hi to Kenny and got to shake his hand. Then I said hi to Jeremy and he said hi back with a big smile. He has a really beautiful smile, that’s why Justin’s smile is so perfect haha. Jaxon and Jazzy were concentrated on something so I didn’t talk to them but they were adorable. I walked away because the security told me to leave, and when I left I saw Bruce. It was the best minute of my entire life. The show was beyond amazing, I’m so proud of him. Never give up on your dreams and never say never. I never thought that I would meet him one day and I never thought one day I would write my Bieber experience , I feel really lucky and I’m very grateful. Arguably the best photographer in LA…if not the world, RonysPhotobooth ….a good friend of ours here at DrunkenStepfather…despite our constant teasing of his friends…. Well he sent one of his crew to a media event DrunkenStepfather was finally invited to…and not only showed up to…but brought the best fucking photographers in the city to….because we may be ghetto, but we’re fucking awesome…. I feel kinda bad that everyone went to the trouble to go to this announcement…that Selena Gomez just signed a 3 year deal as guest designer for Adidas….. I was hoping the event, that we weren’t given much info about, was going to be for a crotchless panty collection….not that Beiber is out of the picture and she can finally have sex… Either way, thanks to the crew at RonysPhotobooth for being so lovely….and I’m looking forward to more fun times like these…even if they weren’t fun for anyone involved….
Hey guys! My name is Maribel and I honestly never pictured myself ever writing a Bieber experience on this page! I come on it everyday and read everybody’s stories. Well, now it’s my turn to write and I can’t wait to tell you guys my story! First off, I haven’t had the chance to meet Justin, but I’m so blessed and proud to say that I’ve gotten the chance to meet Scooter, Dan, and Nick Demoura. I have though, been followed by Justin on Twitter. It was October 6th, the day I went to the Believe concert in Oakland. I was so happy and just overall shocked that I was even going. The whole week I prayed to God to meet someone from crew. I prayed everyday and finally I just said, “God, I don’t care if I don’t meet Justin, I’d love it if I did, but PLEASE at least let me meet someone from the crew.” I got there about 2 or 3 hours earlier before the show started. There were already so many beliebers waiting against a short gate saying that Justin, Carly, Fredo, and others had already came. I thought I’d never have a chance in meeting them. I waited there still for a while to hopefully at least get a glimpse of someone and soon enough, Nick Demoura came out. I was like, “Hey! Can I take a picture with you?” and he said “Yeah sure!” To be honest, I thought he was just one of the dancers, but when I got home I realized that he was Justin’s choreographer and I freaked out even more. He was so cute and humble. Then, SCOOTER BRAUN, Justin’s CREATOR came out! I was so shocked, but I kept my emotions to myself. I WAS FREAKING OUT ON THE INSIDE! Scooter finally got to me and I was like, “Scooter! I love you, can you take a picture with me?” and he grabbed my camera and we took a picture; he also signed my shoes. He started moving down the line of girls and I checked to see how our picture had came out and I noticed that it was only a picture of my face, so I screamed, “Scooter you didn’t come out in my picture, can we take another?” He was so nice, he came back and we took another one, but then the same thing happened. He took my camera and checked it out and said “That’s because you have it on zoom!” Then we finally took the perfect picture. Then Kenny (the teddy bear) came out. He was also going down the row of girls but Scooter called him. Just seconds later, Dan Kanter came out. He took so long to get to where I was, but the reason was because he seriously took his time to talk to all of us beliebers one by one and made sure all of us got a picture with him . He honestly stole my heart and was the greatest. The whole time, myself as well as the girls around me sang the “Dan Kanter Song” until he got to us. Once he got to me I said “Dan how’s Justin?” and Dan said “He’s doing great! He’s getting ready for the show and all.” I took a picture with Dan and then we talked some more. My friends and I were wearing some Canadian wristbands in honor of Justin and then Dan noticed them and said, “I love your bracelets! You guys are representing Justin” and right then and there, my friend Marlen took her bracelet off, signed it, and gave it to Dan to give it to Justin. Then Dan signed our poster and I asked him to sign my shoes too. I was so nervous and said, “Oh my gosh my leg is shaking!” and Dan said “Aww, it is shaking, that’s so sweet! It shows that you care.” THAT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME. For once in my life someone from the crew understood how much I care and love all of them. And that was it! The tour buses were right in front of us and were hard to see into, but we managed to see someone wave hi. I’m not sure who it was, it could’ve been, but who knows, it might have been Justin. God is real you guys, I prayed so much and he listened and made my wishes come true. Seriously, Justin tells us this all the time, Never Say Never and BELIEVE! Dreams do come true! Ever since I became a belieber and got a Twitter account in February 2011, I wanted nothing more than to meet the one boy and his incredible crew who have completely changed my life. My positive attitude assured me Justin and his crew would follow me on Twitter, I’d get to see him in person, I’d go to one of his concerts, and I’d meet him and his crew someday. One by one, each of my dreams started coming true. Justin, Kenny, Scrappy, Scooter, and more all followed me…still waiting on Mr. Alfredo Flores, but I know he will someday. Then in November 2011 I drove 11 hours to California and made my dreams of seeing him in person come true outside the AMAs. Then a couple months ago I bought tickets to Believe tour which means I’m one step closer to seeing him in concert, and on September 1 st , I was finally able to meet him. A couple weeks ago I was looking at plane tickets online, trying to find good deals for round trip tickets to California for Labor Day weekend . I found a really great deal and decided to go for it. I knew Justin had been taking pictures with fans outside his rehearsal studio, so I was hoping I hadn’t missed out on all the action. On September 1 st I woke up at 3 a.m. and flew to California. A few hours later I drove to Los Angeles to hopefully meet Justin outside rehearsals. As soon as I got there, my friends told me I’d JUST missed Alfredo coming out and taking pictures with all of them, but he said as long as the group stayed pretty small, Justin would definitely come out. At that point we knew we couldn’t tweet or text anyone or else our chance of meeting Justin could be shattered. I stood there practically hyperventilating because I knew my chance of meeting Justin that day was really big. I eventually calmed down and we all just talked together until we heard a group of guys talking in the parking lot behind the hedge. We all stood up and in my mind I said, “This is it. I’m about to meet Justin Bieber.” As soon as we looked over, Justin walked around the corner holding a big box and said, “I brought you guys cake!” He opened the box and stood there for a few seconds, letting us soak in the fact that he was standing right in front of us holding a big cake for us to dig into. After a few seconds he put the cake on the ground and Kenny tried handing forks and plates out to everyone, but I think we were all in such shock that no one moved. I was the first to reach out and grab a fork from Kenny and then I looked at Justin and said, “So I can just take some?” I took a chunk out of the cake and Justin and Alfredo looked and me and said, “Oh wow just goin’ for it!” since I didn’t even think to take a plate. I mean if Justin Bieber brings you a cake, you don’t waste your time waiting for a plate, right? Before I took the first bite, I looked at Justin and said, “Can I feed YOU a bite?” Unfortunately Justin didn’t hear me the couple times I said it, but how amazing would that picture have been?…Justin and I feeding each other bites of cake. After I took the first bite Justin said, “Let’s take some pictures!” Since we were all in a line he made his way down to each of us. I was fourth in line, so as I was waiting my turn, I couldn’t even comprehend what was happening. The third girl took her picture and as I started walking toward Justin I said, “Am I next?” I felt his arm wrap around me and I put my hand on his back and felt his incredibly soft shirt. My friend took the picture and before I knew it, we were done, and I realized I hadn’t really even talked to him. As I walked away I said, “Thank you so much Justin” and he briefly turned to look at me before moving on to the next fans in line. It was the most surreal and special experience of my life. After meeting Justin I realized several members of the crew were standing by, and since I love them all like I love Justin, I wanted to talk and get pictures with them as well. I saw Scrappy first, standing there with Nick DeMoura. Scrappy and I have talked several times over Twitter so he knew who I was, but we’d never met before, so I stood next to him and just put my arm around him to give him a hug and before he recognized me he said, “Hey…” as if I was just some creepy fan who was about to molest him or something. Then I looked at him and said, “It’s me!” and he recognized me and said, “Oh hey!! You made it!” I talked to him the majority of the time and it was so incredible to finally have met him too. After talking to him for a few minutes I saw Alfredo and since I wasn’t able to get a picture with him before, I said, “Fredo I missed my opportunity to get a picture with you earlier!” so he said, “Aw ok let’s take one now!” We posed and after my friend took the picture, Fredo walked over and grabbed my camera and I said, “Is it cute? We have to get a good one!” He looked at it for at least 5 seconds and then said, “It’s so good.” And I said, “You’re just looking at yourself! The whole picture has to be cute!” and he said, “YOU’RE in the picture; it’s beautiful.” As you can probably guess, I practically died. After Alfredo I saw Kenny , so we talked for a second and I held my camera out and just assumed he would reach out and take the picture, but after a few seconds of smiling at my camera I said, “…Can you take the picture?” Haha, so he reached out and pressed the button. A couple seconds later I looked at my pictures with Kenny and noticed they were super bright so I went over to him again and said, “Kenny we have to take another picture! Your pearly whites blew out the other one!” As we were taking another couple pictures, Scrappy snuck behind and photo bombed them, haha! Love Scrappy. After about 15-20 minutes of talking with the crew and Justin taking pictures with every single fan there, they all said bye and started walking back inside. Justin said something like, “Thanks so much for coming! I love you! Bye!” and then turned the corner. Accident in Toronto left two others injured. All three men were likely members of Radiohead’s tour crew. By Jonathan Goldner The collapsed section of stage at Toronto’s Downsview Park Photo: A massive section of ironwork collapsed at Toronto’s Downsview Park Saturday afternoon prior to Radiohead ‘s planned show there, leaving one dead and three injured. According to Toronto Police, the deceased man was in his thirties. Given that the show was not yet open to the audience, he was likely a member of Radiohead’s tour crew. The man’s name is not yet being released until such time as police are able to notify his family. Two of the injured were treated and released with minor injuries. The third, 45 years old, sustained a serious, but not life-threatening injury to his head. It’s not clear if the victims were working on the elevated metalwork or on the stage level when the collapse occurred. So far Radiohead’s only comment has been via their Twitter, which posted what appears to be a hastily written message just after 5 pm ET. “Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight’s at downsview park tonight has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue.” The CBC spoke to several concessionaires who were on scene at the time of the accident. Alexandra Mihan reported a sound like fireworks, then hearing screaming and gasping. “We turned around, and the entire top of the stage has just collapsed. All of the metalwork and all of the screens had just kind of folded over on top of each other.” Photos and videos making their way across the Internet on Saturday painted a similarly grim picture. Fans can expect to see familiar characters like Thurnis Haley, the golf-loving whack job that Tyler played to promote his 2011 Goblin album. “Thurnis gonna be on there, he got a couple of skits, but it’s mostly about me, though,” Jasper said jokingly when the crew appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday .”It’s like what I do on my day. ‘It was difficult processing through all of it,’ Earl tells ‘RapFix Live’ of famous ‘Free Earl’ campaign. By Rob Markman Earl Sweatshirt on “RapFix Live” Photo: MTV News Earl Sweatshirt may not have been around for the ascent of Odd Future , but the once-exiled MC is now back in the OFWGKTA fold, and judging from his playful demeanor on Wednesday’s (March 21) “RapFix Live,” it doesn’t seem as if he’s missed a beat. “It’s been pretty crazy, watching them do them,” Earl said about his hiatus from the OF crew while holding four different microphones. While the group was busy breaking through, performing on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and winning Video Music Awards , Earl was attending the Coral Reef Academy in Samoa . Though his 2010 free Internet album Earl helped lay the groundwork for the crew’s future success, the OF wunderkind was left on the outside looking in. There was even a “Free Earl” campaign that fans championed in the MC’s absence. “It was difficult processing through all of it ’cause it was a lot goin’ on with it,” he told “RapFix Live.” Though Earl returned home at the top of February, there was concern that he wouldn’t be able to make an appearance on The OF Tape, Vol. 2, the album that the crew just released on Tuesday. He was, however, able to make a last-minute contribution to the album’s closer, “Oldie.” On the 10-minute posse cut, which features all members of the crew, Earl starts his verse spitting, “Look the contrast is a pair of lips/ Swallowing syrup and setting fire to sheriffs’ whips.” In an off-the-cuff music video for the track, Earl is seen goofing off with the rest of the group, just in case there was any concern about how he would fit in. “Feels like home,” he said on the set of “RapFix Live,” where OFWGKTA laughed uncontrollably for almost an hour.
