Give Hornet Signs credit. The Texas company came under fire this month for promoting its sign business by attaching a decal to the back of a truck… a decal of a woman tied up and seemingly abducted. Following extreme backlash against the PR stunt, the company has made a public showing of its retraction: as detailed in the following video, Hornet Signs removed the sticker from the back of its vehicle and burned it on camera. Abduction Sticker Torn Off Truck, Burned Owner Brad Kolb also says his company has donated $2,500 to the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco. You’ve gotta appreciate the swift and decisive action taken as an apology by Kolb in this case – and you’ve gotta wonder: When will Miley Cyrus do the same for unleashing the act of Twerking upon society?
He was supposed to protect the women, not have forced sex with them. Crime Watcher Accused Of Forced Sex This guy is a piece of isht. According to The NY Daily News A neighborhood crime watch leader in Texas led a double life of serial forced sex, police said. Van Dralan Dixson, 38, is accused of having forced sex with nine women in south Dallas. Cops say they matched his DNA to one of the victims. Dixson is now on the run, ditching his car in the Dallas suburb of Garland as his old neighbors live in fear. “I wouldn’t have thought it was him,” one female neighbor told CBS 11. “It’s scary to live that close to someone that’s doing that.” The attacks began on June 22 near Fair Park. The pervert picked off women walking alone in the morning dark and forced them at gunpoint into secluded areas where he robbed and had forced sex with them. It took a while for police to recognize the pattern of a serial rapist at work. The first two attacks were followed by six weeks of quiet before the creep returned, racking up victims with increasing speed. Police warned the public on Tuesday. Dixson was identified by lab results on Saturday. It’s crazy how people live double lives. The 38-year-old served as the crime watch leader for the Mill City Community Association until the day he disappeared, CBS 11 reported. Neighbors told the station they often saw Dixson walking the streets, but he was a “quiet guy that kept to himself.” Police suspected from the early going the suspect lived among his victims, because the attacks all fell within about 2 square miles. He apparently fled about the same time police identified him as a suspect, leaving his children in the care of relatives. There is now a warrant for Dixson’s arrest and a $1 million bond. Crime Stoppers and a local business put up a $15,000 reward for information leading to his capture. Police said they were still awaiting lab results on DNA they collected in the other attacks. Only cowardly men pick on women who are alone and walking in isolated areas. Somebody will be too happy to have forced sex with him in prison.
Ann Coulter: Obama Brought Back Racism In America The wicked witch of the GOP, Ann Coulter , is once again (surprise!) discussing liberals and black folks in her new book. Via Marietta Daily Journal: Written by Ann Coulter The media’s fixation on the Trayvon Martin case, while ignoring much more brutal crimes with clearer racial motivations, is a return to pre-O.J. America. The thesis of my book, “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery From the Seventies to Obama” — out in paperback this week! — is that after decades of liberals play-acting Racist America, wherein they cast themselves as civil rights champions, and other, random white people as Bull Connor (a Democrat), it all ended with the O.J. verdict. That’s when white America said, That’s it. The white guilt bank is shut down. It was one of the best things that ever happened to America — especially for black people. But then in 2007, Barack Obama brought it all back. In order to immunize the most left-wing presidential candidate the nation has ever seen, the Non-Fox Media went into overdrive reporting their fantasies of America as a nation full of racists, constantly terrorizing innocent blacks. Of course, once Republicans got the Democrats to stop terrorizing black people, there was no one else doing it. Nonetheless, for decades, the media would highlight every apparent white-on-black crime, treating each such incident as the Crime of the Century. White-on-black crimes were, and are, freakishly rare. But the media weren’t showcasing these one-off events as man-bites-dog stories, but rather as dog-bites-man stories in a universe brimming with packs of rabid dogs. According to liberals, whites attacking blacks was an epidemic — a nationwide “cancer,” in the words of erstwhile NYC Mayor Ed Koch. n 1986, only 2.6 percent of all homicides in the entire country were white-on-black killings. Black criminals killed nearly three times as many white people (949) as whites killed blacks (378) and they killed 16 times as many black people (6,235) as whites did. So if you’re confused by the blanket coverage of the Trayvon Martin case — attracting even the attention of the president of the United States! — while far more common and more vicious black-on-white murders are ignored, try to understand that liberals are frightened by change. They are desperately clinging to a world that never existed. Their fantasy of an America bristling with racists allows them to portray any criticism of our massively incompetent and dangerous president as just another sad episode of oh-so-typical white racism. They have to protect Obama, so the rest of us have to get “Mugged.” Discuss… WENN
Come on son . Man Calls 911 Over Burgers According to Mail Online Lorenzo Riggins proved that the customer is not always correct when he called police because his McDonald’s order was shorted by one burger. Riggins said he was hungry Tuesday night when he entered a McDonald’s in East Albany, Georgia. He ordered seven McDoubles, one McChicken and a fries. But when he got out to his car he realized that they got his order wrong: there were only six McDoubles in the bag. So he went back in and asked for his order to be corrected, but the person behind the counter wasn’t giving out service with a smile. ‘She was trying to get an attitude with me and I said I’m going to call the police,’ Riggins told WALB. Riggins carried out that threat relaying his story to 911 operators. They heard out his story, asked him where he was and asked him to wait at the McDonald’s. When officers showed up, instead of confronting the McDonald’s employees they arrested Riggins for misusing 911. ‘I called the police and thinking that everything all cool by calling the police, I didn’t know I was misusing 911,’ he said. Riggins was booked and spent a night in the Doughtery County Jail. The next morning, a judge dropped his case saying the night in jail was enough punishment for the crime. ‘It’s really not funny. It’s not,’ Albany EMA and 911 Deputy Director Jim Vaught said. ‘A person who was waiting to get a call in for an ambulance of a car wreck is having to wait – possibly.’ Vaught told KSDK that calling 911 is no joking matter, and does come with the threat of arrest if you misuse the line. ‘The thing you need to understand is that we have their telephone number and we have their voice recorded and we will turn it over to the police department and you will be prosecuted,’ Vaught warned. While he’s upset about the incident,Riggins said that it won’t stop him from eating at McDonald’s again. ‘I would like to say check your food before you leave, always be careful when you go buy food anywhere you go,’ advised Riggins. It really wasn’t that serious…..he’s on that ninja isht. .
So sad… Long Beach Mother Shot Dead On Son’s 3rd Birthday Via CBS A 23-year-old mother was shot and killed Thursday in Long Beach as she dropped off her three-year-old son at the home of a relative, police said. Jazzmine Wash, of Long Beach, died at the scene of the crime in the 500 block of Walnut Avenue about 6:20 a.m., Long Beach police said. Authorities responded to a shots fired call and arrived to the scene to find the victim in the courtyard of the apartment complex where she had dropped off her child. “The police woke us up and I heard gunshots. Four or five gunshots,” a neighbor told CBS2/KCAL9′s Michele Gile. Wash had walked out of the apartment to get a diaper bag when residents in the area heard several shots fired, according to Sgt. Aaron Eaton. “She came outside of the apartment to gather a bag, what was described as a diaper bag, and was shot multiple times in her upper torso. The suspects fled the scene and the fire department came and unfortunately she was pronounced dead here at the scene,” he said. Police have not yet determined a motive for the shooting or whether the victim knew her killer, or killers. Neighbor Shawn Malloy said Wash was a single mother who had recently started working at Walmart in order to support her son. He said she planned to celebrate his third birthday later today. “She was affectionate with her son… very reserved. Good neighbor. Always said hello, friendly. A real nice person, you know, single mom. Struggling. Just started work. Today was the little boy’s birthday. It is really sad. We are heartbroken,” he said. We can’t imagine the pain Jazzmine’s family are feeling right now, our thoughts and prayers are with them. Image via Shutterstock Continue reading →
Aaron Hernandez was seen by his own home surveillance cameras holding a large-caliber gun just minutes after the murder he allegedly orchestrated. Prosecutors also found a spent .45 caliber shell casing in a car rented by the athlete matching five bullets found in the body of murder victim Odin Lloyd. Those revelations, along with the surveillance photo of the former Patriots tight end below, were released by Massachusetts investigators Thursday: According to a search warrant affidavit released by the Attleboro District Court: “Aaron Hernandez is observed on the surveillance video moving the item believed to be a firearm between his hands as he passes through the living room.” “Footage shows Aaron Hernandez pass through the living room area of the residence while holding an item, identified by investigators being consistent with a firearm.” The images were taken inside his home and recovered from the 14 cameras Hernandez had throughout his $1.2 million mansion in North Attleboro, Mass. Aaron Hernandez, prosecutors said, tampered with the cameras. Apparently not well enough, as state investigators were able to retrieve images. The pictures helped police build a timeline of the murder of Lloyd, 27, a semi-pro football player who was found less than a mile from Hernandez’s home. He was shot five times with a .45 caliber handgun. Hours before the June 16 slaying, Hernandez texted Lloyd , saying: “I’m coming to grab that tonight. U gon b around I need dat and we could step for a little again.” Hernandez’s surveillance cameras showed him leaving his home at 1:12 a.m. with two other men, who police say are Ernest Wallace, 41, and Carlos Ortiz, 27. Wallace has been charged in connection with Lloyd’s murder and Ortiz was arrested on firearms charges. Hernandez and Wallace pleaded not guilty. It’s unclear if Ortiz has entered a plea, or if Hernandez admitted the shooting , which has been rumored but not confirmed by any official documents. At 2:09 a.m., a security camera at a gas station in Boston showed Hernandez purchasing a cigar and Bubble Yum Cotton Candy flavored gum. Roughly 20 minutes later, the three men were seen picking up Odin Lloyd at his home, according to video recovered from Boston Police cameras. At 3:20 a.m., the silver sedan was captured driving into an industrial park, near Hernandez’s home, where Lloyd was killed, according to a search warrant: “This vehicle entered the crime scene at 3:23 a.m. [June 17]. The time of this activity is consistent with the reports of employees at an adjacent business who heard gunshots.” The surveillance photos of Hernandez back in his home and holding what appears to be a pistol were taken at 3:33 a.m., the police document states. Hernandez was arrested on murder and weapons charges June 26 and remains in solitary confinement at Bristol County Correctional Center in Dartmouth. He is due back in court for a probable cause hearing August 22.
Well, this is about as awful as it gets. A St. Louis woman named Adrienne Martin has been arrested after setting fire to a three-year old dog and bragging about the killing on Facebook. The charred shepherd-terrier (named Brownie) was discovered by its owner on July 10, a day after Martin took to Facebook and wrote message that included “I’m on killa mode… #killdogs.com.” It is believed the canine – who was taken to Stray Rescue of St. Louis for medical treatment, but died from organ failure – belonged to Martin’s sister. “When I got the call he passed away, all I could do was cry and then pray for the strength to make sure justice is served,” said Randy Grim , founder of Stray Rescue. “This is one of the saddest and worst cases I have ever dealt with.” After initially denying the crime, Martin admitted it to police. She has a criminal history and was previously charged with endangering the welfare of a child. In this case, Martin faces counts of felony animal abuse and the felony of “knowingly burning” an animal.
This is a damn shame. Train Operator In Spain Derailment Bragged About Going Too Fast On Facebook According to The NY Post Not only was one of the operators of the Spanish train that fatally derailed Wednesday going way too fast, he also found time to brag about it on Facebook. Francisco Jose Garzon Amo posted photos of the train’s speedometer on the social networking site, according to Spain media outlet El Pais. Garzon is in custody at a hospital where he is recovering from minor injuries. The accident claimed the lives of at least 80 people. Garzon, 52, posted a photo of the speedometer reading 200 km/h (125 mph). He responded to a friend who commented on the picture: “If I went any faster, they’d fine me.” A screengrab was obtained by Gawker.com and then later removed from Garzon’s Facebook. “What fun it would be to drive side-by-side the police and then pass them by, triggering the speed radar,” Garzon added. “Haha, bit of a fine or [train operator] Renfe, ha ha!” Garzon, a 30-year veteran of Spain’s national rail network, radioed in right before the crash saying the train was going “190” km/h (120 mph). An Associated Press analysis of video images suggests the train may have been traveling at twice the speed limit, or more, along that curved stretch of track. Spain’s government said two probes have been launched into the train’s derailment Wednesday night on its approach to this Christian festival city in northwest Spain, where planned celebrations in honor of one of Jesus’ disciples gave way to a living nightmare. The regional government in Galicia confirmed that police planned to question Garzon, in Santiago de Compostela’s main hospital with unspecified injuries, as both a witness and as a possible suspect, but cautioned that possible faults in safety equipment were also being investigated. The Interior Ministry raised the death toll to 80 in what was Spain’s deadliest train wreck in four decades. The Galician government said 94 others remained hospitalized in six regional hospitals, 31 of them — including four children — in critical condition. The U.S. State Department said one American was killed in the crash and five others were injured. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said those numbers were “likely to change” and declined to elaborate. “Today the American people grieve with our Spanish friends, who are in our thoughts and prayers,” President Barack Obama said in a statement. If he would have spent less time on Facebook bragging, people would still be alive.
