Actress reportedly tested positive for alcohol and faces possible jail time. By Gil Kaufman Lindsay Lohan Photo: David McNew/ Getty Images Just weeks from completing her home detention sentence, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is due in a Los Angeles court on Thursday (June 23) after allegedly violating her probation by testing positive for alcohol. According to TMZ , the 24-year-old actress tested positive for alcohol earlier this month and could be facing additional jail time if the probation department has its way. The gossip site reported that Lohan was tested twice last week for drugs and alcohol and that unnamed sources said she tested positive for alcohol on one of the tests and negative on another; both were reportedly negative for drugs. One of the tests is reported to have taken place after a rooftop barbecue party Lohan had at her condo for friends on June 12. In April, Lohan was sentenced to four months in jail for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace but was allowed to serve a reduced 35-day term at her Venice, California, condo. She was under strict home-confinement rules and wore an electronic monitoring device. TMZ reported that the Los Angeles County Probation Department will ask the judge in the case to pull Lohan from house arrest and send her directly to Los Angeles County jail. Lohan’s attorney could not be reached for comment at press time. Lohan was specifically told by the judge in her 2007 DUI case that she was not allowed to consume any alcohol while on probation. As part of her plea deal in the necklace case, Lohan was also sentenced to perform 480 hours of community service, but was ordered not to perform that work until she completed her house arrest. She was also sentenced to undergo psychological counseling and participate in a shoplifters alternative course. Nia Long is pregnant with her second child and before rumors can circulate of who the baby’s father is, Nia Long has revealed that it is basketball player Ime Udoka. “This is the most exciting time in our lives,” Long and Udoka tell PEOPLE in a statement. “Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.” Ime Udoka has previously played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trailblazers, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs. Ms. Gibson opened up about what she learned from working with Diddy, how it feels to have two different TV shows running on two different networks and why she doesn’t settle for BS. Check out a few excerpts from the interview below: How does it feel to have not one, but two TV shows (E!’s “Dance Scene” and BET’s “Born To Dance) of your own? It feels amazing! It feels victorious. I can now tell you: you can make it. I can look at people who were laughed at, people who were told they couldn’t make it, people that are being held down by other people who are manipulating their gift to benefit themselves and say, “Yes, you can stand in line to help someone, but once that season is over, that person needs to give back to you.” And if you are designed to help someone then that is amazing, but if you are designed to birth something that God has for you I understand. It feels like “I am free” and it feels like “My gift can operate the way God designed it to.” It’s only gonna get better and we are not giving up anytime soon.” You’re pretty feisty and you have that fire in you. What is it that makes Laurieann say, “I am not going to take anyone’s BS”? [People’s] BS is a projection. They want to crap all over you so you won’t do what you are called to do. I’m not letting that happen to me, my crew, or anybody. I am not letting them do it! What did you learn from Diddy after working so close with him for many years? My brother Diddy taught me about the business; he taught me without talking. He helped prepare me for the position that I am currently in. I often reflect on how I saw him operate. It wasn’t in a mean way or in an aggressive way, but in a way that he came from nothing. No one was going to take advantage of him. What I learned is: Don’t sacrifice your gift for anybody. Be willing to walk away or it jeopardizes your truth or creative instinct. Be willing to walk away because then you will get your respect; you will develop your own sense of greatness. But don’t ride the fence and don’t risk your instinct to have a job or belong, because then you push yourself further away from your goal. I must say that Laurieann seems to have really come full circle since her days on “In Living Color.” It’s always inspiring to see our black women doing major things in their careers. Why the hell are people bringing their babies to the crime scenes these days???? A 14-month-old girl was thrown from a speeding getaway car late Thursday night after the suspects were caught shoplifting at KMart, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to the KMart at 7325 Two Notch Road for a shoplifting call. “We know that three people went into the KMart with a child in the vehicle. We know that as they arrived at the KMart that they were there to shoplift,” said Captain Chris Cowan. When deputies arrived, KMart security had 21-year-old Courtney NaShawn Palmer in custody. Security officers told deputies that Palmer and another woman got into a scuffle with officers after being confronted and accused of stealing from the store. Deputies say a third woman, 22-year-old Kimberly Moody, was parked in the lot waiting in the getaway car when she noticed what was going on in the store, according to the sheriff’s department. After seeing what was happening, Moody decided to leave the premises in a hurry, according to deputies. ” She hit the accelerate,” said Captain Cowan. “She accelerated to a high rate of speed, sending a 1-year-old out of the back of the vehicle into the parking lot, causing serious injury.” The child was not restrained and the door was not secure, according to investigators. “Once she realizes the child’s been thrown out of the vehicle, she stops,” said Captain Cowan. “She and the other individual come running out of the KMart, picked the child up, put the child in the car, and then take the child to the hospital.” Deputy Curtis Wilson says the child has broken ribs, a collapsed lung and multiple abrasions and is currently in ICU at the hospital. Moody was charged Friday with unlawful conduct towards a child. Her bond hearing was held Friday night. Officers said she has since posted bail. Palmer was arrested Thursday night and charged with shoplifting. Palmer was arrested Thursday night and charged with shoplifting. Investigators say she tried to steal two bottles of body spray, a bottle of body wash, a stick of deodorant, a pair of earrings, and a pack of tissue totaling $29.61. A judge granted Palmer a $2,130 personal recognizance bond Friday morning. She also posted bail. A third arrest came Friday night, according to deputies. 20-year-old Courtney Nicole-Francetta Mace was charged with two counts of assault and battery as well as one count of unlawful conduct toward a child. Deputies said Mace is the mother of the child that was thrown from the vehicle Thursday. The mother of the injured baby, according to the deputies, was involved in the scuffle with the security officer. “We’ll continue to investigate,” said Captain Cowan. “We need to process witness statements. We need to continue to interview people, process surveillance footage, and once we do that, then we’ll make a determination whether somebody else will be charged and what those charges will be.” Truly sad…all this because they were trying to gank KMart for some deodorant and body spray. Album’s release comes just two months after the tragic death of group member M-Bone, who’ll be featured on the cover. The Kickback, distributed by Sony RED, will feature 15 tracks including the group’s 2010 platinum hit “Teach Me How to Dougie” and their next official single, “Burn Out (Drive Fast).” The release will come just two months after CSD’s Mante “M-Bone” Talbert was tragically gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Inglewood, California. “We’re sure that M-Bone is doin’ the Dougie at the gates of heaven, and we know he would want us to keep the movement goin’ here,” CSD’s Yung said in a press release issued to MTV News. The three remaining members of Cali Swag told MTV News that they had no plans to replace M-Bone , and though the energetic dancer was laid to rest on May 27, he will still appear on the cover to The Kickback. Bone is shown doing a handstand on the album’s cover while the rest of CSD look on in amazement. “We’re just focused on staying positive and doing what we were doing prior to this incident,” CSD’s C-Smoove told MTV News recently. “Basically, make M-Bone’s legacy and his name live on through us forever, as long as we do it. We don’t feel like this is a time for us to stop. We feel like this is a time for us to go harder.” At approximately 10:30 p.m. PT on May 15, police were called to the 400 block of La Brea Avenue in Inglewood. When they arrived on the scene, they founded Talbert seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with two gunshot wounds to the head. Witness accounts confirm that a gunman pulled up alongside M-Bone in a separate vehicle and let off at least two rounds. Since his death, artists including Jermaine Dupri, B.o.B and New Boyz have spoken out, remembering M-Bone’s positive energy and penchant for dancing.
