Bruce Willis to begin shooting with director John Moore in January. By Kevin P. Sullivan Bruce Willis in “Die Hard” Photo: Fox After a few years of speculation, John McClane is going to die hard another day. On Wednesday (October 12), Fox announced that the fifth entry in the series will be called “A Good Day to Die Hard” and is set for release on February 14, 2013. As Bruce Willis told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz while promoting “Cop Out” last year, the next adventure for McClane takes him international. According to the announcement, McClane heads to Russia to find his son, who has found himself in trouble. The role has yet to be cast, but the search has begun for a young actor to play the action icon’s son. “A Good Day to Die Hard” begins shoot this January under director John Moore of “Max Payne” and the “Omen” remake. Willis confirmed to MTV News last October that the script by Skip Woods was finished and undergoing some rewrites, saying that it was “probably going to happen.” Aside from what was mentioned in the initial announcement, little else is known about the plot or cast. “The Thing” star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who played McClane’s daughter Lucy in “Live Free and Die Hard,” recently told IndieWire that she didn’t think she would appear in the fifth entry. “I’m assuming I will not be [in that] because I have not heard anything,” Winstead said. Justin Long told MTV News something similar, saying he was interested but didn’t think he would be asked back. “I didn’t get a good feeling that I was going to be a part of this imminent ‘Die Hard,’ ” Long said. “I would love to get my hands on it.” Check out everything we’ve got on “A Good Day to Die Hard.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . ‘You kinda gotta step up and be a family man, and she deserves it,’ newly engaged MC tells MTV News. By Matt Elias Game and fiancee Tiffany Cambridge Photo: James Michael Lacsina/ MTV News INGLEWOOD, California — You would never consider rapper the Game “soft,” especially on his home turf of Los Angeles. But the MC showed us his vulnerable side by proposing to longtime girlfriend Tiffany Cambridge on Wednesday afternoon (October 12). Game staged the big surprise at Frank D. Parent Elementary School, where Cambridge works as a teacher. The school’s principal even got in on the plan, calling Cambridge to an afterschool “meeting” where Game was waiting anxiously with the couple’s two children. Cambridge arrived with a big look of suspicion on her face to a room full of people. As family, faculty, media and the couple’s bishop looked on, Game got down on one knee and said, “I just wanted to ask you: Would you marry me?” Game’s girl immediately answered with, “Oh, yes, Jayceon” (his actual first name), and the two embraced to a cheering crowd. “I’m just, like, in shock right now, so excuse my expression,” Cambridge told the room. “I am the deer-in-a-headlight type of person.” The same could be said for Game. For an artist who exudes confidence, it was rare to see the rapper nervous — well, as much as he would let on. But he admitted prior to popping the question that he was pretty anxious. “As a man, this is that day where you throw your player card away and you kinda gotta step up and be a family man, and she deserves it,” Game told MTV News immediately following the proposal. “It’s been a long run, and we’ve been together at least seven years. We’ve been off, we’ve been on, we’ve been arguing, we fought. We had good times and bad times, and I think that at the end of the day, as a man, this is something that I owed to her and I owed to my family, so it was time.” While the proposal seemed planned to the very last detail, you would be surprised how it all came together. “The planning was all quick, last minute. I woke up today with a different headspace, and I just started planning this at 10 a.m., and we pulled it off by 2 [p.m.]. Four hours to pull all these media outlets, get the school in line, the principal, the bishop from the church to come down. The sun came out, obviously [I’m] sweating here, crazy.” With Game’s success at prepping all these details, he might even get in on the wedding planning himself. Well, maybe. “No, no, no — I’m gonna stay on the Xbox, I’m gonna play ‘Madden,’ I’m gonna let her plan it all the way out, and then I’m gonna go overseas and get whatever she needs so she can successfully have the wedding of her life,” Game said. So what’s the next step for the engaged couple? “Hopefully a nice dinner and some lovemaking!” Game joked. This caps a successful couple of months for the rapper, whose R.E.D. Album debuted at #1 in late August. Share your well-wishes for the newly engaged couple in the comments! Related Artists The Game
They do studies on anything these days: Affairs may do more than break hearts — they may break penises as well, a new study says. Sex outside marriage, and sex that occurs under out-of-the-norm circumstances, may increase the risk of penile fractures, said study researcher said Dr. Andrew Kramer, a urologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The heightened risk appears to be due to the unconventional situations, and consequently, locations, surrounding sexual acts, the researchers said. Men in the study who had suffered penis fractures commonly were having sex in unusual settings, including in restrooms or at work, when the injury occurred. The majority were having extramarital affairs. In such atypical situations, sex may be rushed and involve unusual or awkward sexual positions, Kramer said. “All these factors could make the man less able to protect his penis from an unexpected sudden downward thrust leading to the fracture,” Kramer said. A penile facture, or “broken penis,” is an injury that occurs to the erect penis. There are no bones in the penis; the “fracture” refers to tearing or laceration of a fibrous membrane called the tunica albuginea, which surrounds the spongy tissue in the center of the penis. A “fracture” is followed by hemorrhaging, swelling and loss of erection. While previous research has focused on the physiological mechanism of the facture, and how to surgically treat it, no study has looked at exactly what men were doing when they broke their penises. Kramer’s study aimed to fill this gap. Kramer studied 16 cases of penile fractures treated at the University of Maryland Hospital between 2004 and 2011. He reported the findings in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Source
Hugh Hefner may have given it to Crystal Harris on multiple occasions, but the Playboy founder’s former fiancee is about to give it right back to her ex – but giving away his engagement ring! TMZ has actually posted the listing for this 3.39 carat rock, which will go up for auction in October at Christie’s, a famous auction house in New York City. It’s expected to fetch between $20,000 to $30,000. Why is Harris parting with the stone? Because, insiders say, the busty blonde “couldn’t bear to look at the ring anymore because it brought back bad memories.” And if you truly believe that’s the reason, you likely also believe the Boston Red Sox still have a shot to make the playoffs this season.

Leisha Hailey, an actress most recently seen on CSI but best known for her role on Showtime’s The L Word , was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight today and immediately took to Twitter to complain that she and her girlfriend got the boot because of their sexual orientation. Hailey says a flight attendant asked her and her partner to leave because they were kissing and, according to the stewardess, Southwest is a “family” airline. “They don’t like us,” the actress Tweeted of the company’s alleged “homophobic” policies. But Southwest has now replied and says its employees simply responded to passenger complains about the actress’ “excessive” affection toward her girlfriend. “Our crew, responsible for the comfort of all Customers on board, approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender,” the statement reads. “The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight. We are ready to work directly with the passengers involved to offer our heartfelt apologies for falling short of their expectation.” Hailey should just be grateful she wasn’t wearing baggy pants , too.
Jerry Bruckheimer, Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio and Elton John also in the top 10 of Forbes list. By Gil Kaufman Tyler Perry Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Though the stars get the headlines, it’s almost always the people behind the scenes who rake in the most cash in Hollywood. Case in point: According to the new Forbes magazine tally, the list of the highest-paid men in entertainment is led by actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author Tyler Perry, whose films have grossed more than $500 million worldwide. He tops a list — measuring the entertainers’ earnings from May 2010 to May 2011 — that also includes Steven Spielberg, Simon Cowell and one of the only actors on the list, Leonardo DiCaprio. How did Perry make it to the top with $130 million over the past year? Thanks to fat checks from his TV shows, “Meet the Browns” and “House of Payne,” as well as his hit series of movies based around his drag character Madea and his upcoming rare acting role as the titular detective in I, Alex Cross. ‘You may never again be able to touch your face without asking yourself where those hands have been,’ one critic says of germ thriller. By Kara Warner Jude Law in “Contagion” Photo: WB Perhaps the most terrifying film opening in theaters this weekend is not one full of high-pitched screams, blood and guts, but rather the discomfort and cringing that accompanies the spread of killer germs. “Contagion” — featuring an all-star cast that includes Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Laurence Fishburne, Gwyneth Paltrow and Marion Cotillard — demonstrates how quickly a cough can turn into a worldwide epidemic, as the characters reel from the rapid progress of an airborne virus that kills within days. Ordinary citizens are forced to come to terms with disease and death, while the medical community scrambles to find a cure and control the hysteria that spreads along with the virus. With a certified fresh rating of more than 80 percent on Rotten Tomatoes , “Contagion” seems to be creeping out moviegoers in the best and most realistic way possible. The Story “Global in scale but very particular in focus, ‘Contagion’ unfolds as an engrossing, believable search for Patient Zero and an effective vaccine. (‘It’s not a good time to be a rhesus monkey,’ remarks one character dryly.) More grounded in science than suspense, its rhythms evoke the steady beat of the crime procedural as the Centers for Disease Control (represented by Laurence Fishburne, Kate Winslet and a terrific Jennifer Ehle) and the World Health Organization (fronted by Marion Cotillard) work to save lives and stem panic.” — Jeannette Catsoulis, NPR The Direction “From his very first independent films through the “Ocean’s” trilogy and the widely misunderstood, little-seen “Che,” Soderbergh has viewed human life and human actions from a voyeuristic, almost clinical perspective, and in that sense a movie about disease and science and bureaucracy — about systems, rather than people — is a perfect fit. … There’s really no arguing with “Contagion” on technical grounds. The story it tells is based on sound epidemiology (even if some individual plot events are implausible) and the composition and editing are masterful. Instead of the usual two and a half hours of a Roland Emmerich-style disaster flick, this one is an economical 105 minutes, none of them wasted.” — Andrew O’Hehir, Salon.com The Cringe Factor “What we have here is one of the finest “breakdown of society” movies I’ve ever seen. If you’re the type of person who finds the opening credits montage the most frightening aspect of Romero’s original “Dawn of the Dead,” the instigating event to the apocalypse in “Contagion” is (sigh) a very real threat. Read “Flu” by Gina Kolata — or better yet, don’t, because maybe you like sleeping at night.” — Jordan Hoffman, UGO The Final Word: Pro/Con/Pro Style “If you’re looking for some kind of poetry — some exalted dramatic arc that lifts this narrative out of the ordinary — you won’t find it here. ‘Contagion’ is as straightforward as an episode of ‘CSI,’ but it’s gripping from start to finish. Now, excuse me while I wipe down my computer keyboard. — Leonard Maltin, IndieWire “Juggling multiple plotlines proved successful in Mr. [Soderbergh]’s ‘Traffic’ (and even more so in Alejandro Gonz
