A new promotional photo from Breaking Dawn Part II shows the various covens that unite to defend Edward, Bella, Renesmee and the rest of the Cullens. To protect them against the vengeful Volturi, of course. Pictured are the American Nomad, the Amazon coven, the Egyptian coven, the Denali coven, Carlisle Cullen and family, the Irish coven and many others. The epic vampire battle begins November 16 … In addition to this pic and seven minutes of new footage shown at Comic-Con , Summit also released a dozen new posters for the Twilight Saga’s final chapter. Noticeably absent are the big three – Robert Pattinson ‘s Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black – but we can only assume a mega-reveal of posters for that trio is still to come in the near future. Oh hey, remember Twilight ? That book that was a movie that spawned a gazillion-dollar franchise before The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey made you momentarily forget about sparkly vampires? Well, it’s back, and the latest EW cover serves to remind us all that Breaking Dawn – Part 2 — the franchise ender, due in November — is just on the horizon. Forthwith, your first look at Vampire Bella, Daddy Edward, and, uh, Uncle Jacob with Breaking Dawn ‘s preternaturally mature baby Renesmee. EW teases their June 22 issue with family portraits of Bella ( Kristen Stewart ), Edward ( Robert Pattinson ), Jacob ( Taylor Lautner ), and little Renesmee, a new character introduced in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 . Per Stephenie Meyer’s final Twilight novel, Renesmee is the half-human, half-vampire baby whose birth pretty much kills Bella at the end of Breaking Dawn – Part 1 , necessitating Bella’s transformation into a vampire and kicking off the final chapter of zany events in the series. Among the stranger details of Breaking Dawn – Part 2 : Renesmee is a hybrid creature baby who grows at an accelerated rate, hence why she looks more like Siri Cruise than a normal infant. (Forget Twilight – let’s get to the untold story of Matt Leblanc, amirite?) Eleven-year-old newcomer Mackenzie Foy nabbed the role of Renesmee, and from the looks of EW’s preview she gets considerable face time with not only her vampire parents (and Jacob — more on that in a bit) but with the various assembled international vampires that gather to rally around the Cullen clan as the evil Volturi vamps head to America to wipe them out. EW’s Twilight issue hits stands June 15, along with new images from the film. Take a look at the Cullen brood… And the various global vampire clans that gather in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 : Of course, Dakota Fanning returns with the Volturi… …and Vampire Bella is strong enough to arm-wrestle Emmett… …but let’s talk about Jacob and Renesmee and the love that dare not speak its name: Imprinting. Scans of the EW cover story have already leaked, revealing bits of the cast and director interviews discussing the set, casting Foy (“Even our hands look similar,” marvels Stewart), etc. But let’s jump right over to the elephant in the room, shall we? Lautner addresses his Breaking Dawn challenge — making Jacob “imprint” on his soulmate, baby Renesmee, without making it feel, you know, creepy (via Nessie-Mackenzie.com ): …talking to Stephenie Meyer and diving back into the book got him more comfortable with the notion of being in love with a child. “Everyone likes to tease me about it,” he says. “Everyone thinks it’s so funny, and I laugh along with them, but it’s important for me to keep in my mind that it’s as simple as a lifelong bond. It’s not nearly as creepy as everybody likes to joke.” That “everybody” includes Pattinson, needless to say. “Oh, I can’t wait till he has to do live TV,” Pattinson says of Lautner with a gleeful cackle. “Did you ask him if his taste in women has changed? The first scene I saw them together, I literally could not stop laughing. I wouldn’t have been able to do it.” Well, good luck to Lautner. I don’t care if Stewart had to wear uncomfortable contact lenses, he’s officially got the hardest job of anyone on Twilight . Look for more in EW’s June 22 issue. [ EW ]

The actual invitation used in the movie for Edward and Bella’s wedding is revealed during the MTV Movie Awards pre-show. By Terri Schwartz “Breaking Dawn” wedding invitation Photo: John Shearer/ WireImage/ MTV It’s the event the world has been waiting for: You are hereby invited to the wedding of Isabella Marie Swan and Edward Anthony Masen Cullen. MTV got their hands on the official “Breaking Dawn” wedding invitation that was used in the movie for Bella and Edward’s nuptials. And if you caught the red-carpet pre-show during the “America’s Best Dance Crew” finale, then you’ve already seen it with your own two eyes. Outlined in lavender and with the Cullen seal in wax embedded on the envelope, MTV has the exclusive invite to the wedding of the century. “Together with their families, [Bella and Edward] request the honor of your presence at the celebration of their marriage,” the invitation reads. SEE PHOTOS OF THE WEDDING INVITATION HERE! “I think that it’s really interesting that they don’t include the parents’ names,” Kallie Matthews of Twilight Series Theories said. “That’s very traditional for most families to have father and the mother’s name and actually the parents inviting the invitees to the wedding. In this case, it kind of makes me wonder if Charlie is really upset about the wedding happening, and the Cullens then decided not to put their names on the invite out of respect.” Also of note, the wedding date has been pushed forward from when it happened in the book — our deductive math skills reveal the wedding technically took place in 2006 — and is now occurring on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. “A lot of people had an idea of when the wedding would be, but now having this firm date, it’s going to be huge,” said Kara Hassell of Twilighters Anonymous . ” ‘Twilight’ fans screaming, you’ll hear them from your house, they’ll be everywhere. It will be a big date, there will be lots of parties, especially because the movie doesn’t come out until later this year, so people will be looking for something to celebrate.” If you feel like honoring that time frame with a visit to Forks, Washington, then you will be happy to know that the wedding is officially taking place at 420 Woodcroft Avenue. Unfortunately, based on a quick Google Maps search, that location doesn’t actually exist, but maybe Summit Entertainment will work their magic to make it happen. Definitely the coolest part of the invitation, though, is the official Cullen crest emblazoned on the wax seal on the envelope. Check your local Hot Topics to see if the Cullen crest becomes the next piece of “Twilight” merchandise that everyone starts sealing their letters with. “The seal is really cool. I really love the color and the context on the seal,” said Laura Byrne-Cristiano of Twilight Lexicon . “It’s got the Cullen crest that we first saw with the first ‘Twilight’ movie and it’s a really nice, rich color. It looks really cool. I like that a lot.” “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” hits theaters November 18, 2011. Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? Find out Sunday, when the 20th annual show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT for the “America’s Best Dance Crew” finale and Movie Awards pre-show, loaded with live action from the red carpet, exclusive movie clips and a special edition of “After Hours.” We want your reactions to the “Breaking Dawn” trailer! ‘Twilight’ co-star tells MTV News, ‘I thought, ‘This might not end well. She’s looking pretty pissed right now.’ ‘ By Terri Schwartz Elizabeth Reaser Photo: MTV News PARK CITY, Utah — Ever since Kristen Stewart spilled the beans at the that she had been filming “Breaking Dawn” as a vampire that day, it’s all we can think about when we get the chance to talk to one of her “Twilight Saga” co-stars. Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Esme Cullen in the film franchise, teased at the Sundance Film Festival this week that there have been some crazy vampire scenes on set recently. “There’s been some really cool stuff in the Cullen house with Bella,” Reaser revealed to MTV News. “There’s been some interesting transformations happening.” Sounds to us like director Bill Condon has been filming the famous “Breaking Dawn” birthing scene, and that Reaser got a chance to see Bella’s transformation into a vampire. already shared that the birthing scene will be shown from Bella’s perspective to keep with the film’s PG-13 rating , but as Reaser witnessed the whole scene unfold, what was her impression of Stewart’s transformation? “She scared me a little bit on Thursday, I’ll be honest with you,” Reaser said. “Because when vampires are newborns, they’re stronger than any other vampires, so for a second there I thought, ‘This might not end well. She’s looking pretty pissed right now.’ It was great.” Reaser’s praise of Stewart’s performance as vampire Bella matches with what co-stars Robert Pattinson and Peter Facinelli had to say about it at the Golden Globes. Pattinson told MTV News it felt like Stewart “wanted to do it the entire time.” “It’s really funny, it’s like a completely different environment on set when she’s a vampire and when she’s not,” he said. “I think she’s going to do it really well.” In the books, Bella becomes much more confident after transforming into a vampire, so it’s fitting that Stewart is coming into her own with the role. Facinelli jokingly credited vampire contact lenses as the real reason Stewart is doing so much better. “She’s doing really well. She looks fantastic,” Facinelli raved. “For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘I know that the fans have expectations,’ she tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Nikki Reed Photo: Damian Vaca/ MTV News “Twilight” was all about Bella and Edward. Then in “New Moon,” Jacob really stepped it up. While “Eclipse” definitely focuses on the love triangle, fans also get to learn a bit more about their friends and family. When Nikki Reed had to shoot Rosalie’s backstory, her biggest moment yet in “The Twilight Saga,” she was feeling the pressure. “I was torn, because I was definitely looking forward to it. I mean, I read the first three books before we began filming ‘Twilight,’ so I knew what I had in store if we made all three movies,” she told MTV News about going back in time and showing the fans Rosalie’s story. “But I was obviously very intimidated, and I felt a little insecure, and I was nervous, and maybe I should not be saying all these things, but I was.” For those unfamiliar with the “Twilight” series ( spoiler alert! ), when she was a human, Rosalie was attacked by a group of men, including her fianc

Sources say Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and others want raises if ‘Twilight’ film is split in two. By Adam Rosenberg Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz Photo: Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images As “Twilight” super-fans prepare to buy tickets to “Eclipse” when they go on sale this Thursday, Summit Entertainment is reportedly caught up in a little vampire skirmish of its own during negotiations for making the saga’s final chapter, “Breaking Dawn,” into two films. The latest hold-up for the production, which was only recently confirmed for a November 18, 2011 release , is said to stem from salary disputes with several key players in the supporting cast. The Hollywood Reporter ‘s THR Esq. blog reports that the actors who play the Cullen kids, “especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene,” are angling for more money. The major names associated with the series are all contractually bound to stay on through “Breaking Dawn,” but new deals are required if the studio splits the story into two movies. At least two actors’ deals are confirmed: Peter Facinelli, who plays Cullen patriarch Carlisle, and Billy Burke, who plays Bella’s father Charlie. Franchise stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are all in the final stages of securing their deals, which will reportedly grant each of them a big pay bump. Recently confirmed director Bill Condon is locked for two movies, to be shot back-to-back, with the two-part release scheduled for November 2011 and summer 2012. Most troublingly for fans, one source states that drastic measures may be taken if agreements with the supporting cast aren’t reached soon. “We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point,” said one unnamed person with close ties to the process. For the most part, fans have accepted a cast change for vampire villain Victoria (from Rachelle Lefevre in the first two films to Bryce Dallas Howard in “Eclipse”). But would they be as willing to imagine a “Twilight” world without Ashley Greene or Kellan Lutz? The issue on Summit’s side is purely financial. “Twilight” rolled out into theaters as an indie adaptation of a popular young adult novel; compare this to “Harry Potter,” which was already a blockbuster in the literary world by the time movie adaptation talk started to surface. As the vampire franchise has grown larger, budgets have increased. Supporting stars like Lutz and Greene are very much in demand, so their push for a bigger payday is understandable. Summit has a number of options. The studio could, as stated above, simply throw an actor “out on the street to make a point,” as it did with Lefevre and Howard . The studio could also scale things back and put out “Breaking Dawn” as a single movie. This seems less likely, given the length of the book and the inherent moneymaking opportunity in releasing two popular films instead of just one. Summit is also looking into moving the production. The three previous “Twilight” efforts were shot in Vancouver; the location could change to Louisiana for “Breaking Dawn,” to take advantage of the tax credits that state offers. We hope it doesn’t come to this, but which would you rather see: “Breaking Dawn” as one film with the current cast, or two films with new actors taking over the Cullen roles? Sound off in the comments. Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
