T he annual holiday ritual of waiting in long lines so your children can appeal to Santa Claus for presents is officially upon us. But as America’s collective skin color skews increasingly darker, so are the men dressing up as St. Nicholas to accommodate the demand from families of color who want their children to see a Kris Kringle they can ethnically identify with. Enter Christmas 2017, where there are seemingly more Black Santas peppered across the nation’s map than ever before. You can find them at malls, churches, schools, community centers and maybe even just walking down your block, depending on where you live. But the overarching point here is that you can find them easier than ever, which wasn’t really the case just a few years ago. READ MORE: Tamron Hall Posts ‘Woke’ Black Santa Statue Photo On Instagram From the Pacific northwest to rural Georgia, and a handful of spots in between, the U.S. has more Black Santas on deck than ever before. But to simplify things a bit for those looking for them, News One has created this handy little interactive tool to help you map where exactly to find one or more Black Santas during this holiday season. Just click on the point located nearest to you to find the closest Black Santa to your town. Strangely enough, or perhaps not strangely at all depending on who you ask, there are a number of Black Santa Clauses concentrated in Indianapolis and North Carolina. On the other hand, not surprisingly, the same is true for the metro Atlanta area. Maybe most notably is Santa Larry , the Black Santa Claus who last year began making appearances at the Mall of America in suburban Minneapolis. He has triumphantly resumed his post this season at the largest shopping center in the U.S., an indication of the type of demand he and other Black Santas have generated in recent years. Please let us know if we missed any locations where to find Black Santa and we will update our map. Seasons greetings! Old Italian guys fucking love Monica Bellucci… If you go to an Italian barber, or to an Italian bakery, or an Italian restaurant….or even if you’re into petty crimes and work with the Italian mob, or find yourself at WWE events or Soccer events, you’ve likely heard and Italian along with saying BRO as every second word mention how hot Monica Bellucci…. I have a theory that Italian guys are momma’s boys and love the idea of fucking their moms, while Monica Bellucci is old enough to be their mom…or maybe they are so disconnected with their culture being American that they think they need to fall in love with the old country…or maybe, just maybe it’s her big tits from the 90s that are no 90 but still tits… Who really knows…so many questions…we don’t need answers for. Rihanna is on the cover of Vogue Arabia, because countries that don’t like their women driving or working because it means being around other men, really appreciate American music from earner Rihanna who is naked or half naked and singing about sex…you know totally in line with their culture if you look at it from an OIL MONEY BILLIONAIRE ON A YACHT perspective…because we know that despite all the rules of the religion, people break the rules, especially when rich as fuck, with access to celebrities and fancy gold things..which may be backwards but that works for Rihanna because she’s a puppet that can be bought by the highest bidder, and that Arab money, is likely the highest bidder, they spend on shit this Rihanna…I mean just look at Lohan…you see her prostiting has gone from British tourists in Barbados to execs in NYC to the Oil Fields…getting paid…work work work work work or some shit…. Here are the conservative, most conservative she’s done, you know rebranding that she cleans up nicely.. here’s some from the streets…. Paola and Russ Mayfield are a 90 Day Fiance couple that keeps on going. They have their controversies, sure, but they love each other and stay together. Usually, when it comes to Paola and Russ, any disagreements see fans taking sides. Some say that Russ is too jealous or controlling, others say that Paola should quit modeling. That sort of thing. This time, these two have stirred up a very different sort of controversy. Paola Mayfield and Russ are an attractive couple. But are their Halloween costumes problematic and offensive? The short answer is: yes. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t still huge Paola fans. In fact, we were rooting for Paola to win Maxim ‘s contest , which could be an amazing boost to her modeling career. But dressing as Native Americans for Halloween is a big no-no. It’s just below blackface and Nazi symbols on the list of what to never, ever wear. Why? Because of America’s history of genocide against Native Americans, basically. Native Americans are still heavily marginalized, but white Americans love to adopt their symbols as their own. A general guide to life is: If a marginalized person tells you that what you’re doing is kinda screwed up, don’t get defensive. Just ask how you can change. Anyway, apparently none of this crossed Russ and Paola’s minds as they donned their couples costumes and got into double trouble. Paola shared the photos on Instagram, and the backlash in the comments was immediate: One comment read: “Not a fan of this costume at all! disgusting. Next year go as ketchup and mustard. Leave the traditional wear to the people that actually!!!! wear it for their cultures! Sickening people still think this is okay. Not a fan of miss @paola_mayfield so much anymore. #dobetter” We don’t know that one needs to stop being her fan, but that’s every individual’s choice. Here are some other comments: “Ummm, cultural appropriation much?” “Agree! It is disrespectful!! I am disappointed again!!” “It’s not an issue about sensitivity. It’s an issue of DISRESPECT of a people/culture as well as an APPROPRIATION by the dominant culture who has sought out to eliminate Native American people since the 1400s.” “Oh honey. No.” “Wtf?!? Not ok!!!!” “Tasteless, Native regalia is not a Halloween costume.” As you can see, some of those commenters tried to explain. Others just expressed their disgust. A few thought to differentiate between Paola and Russ. “Ah yes a white guy in native headdress and an over sexualized Native American woman…this is not okay.” One repeated a helpful motto: “Its a Culture NOT A COSTUME!!” Oh, and some of the commenters were Nativa Americans, for whom this issue hits very close to home. “My culture is not your costume @paola_mayfield .. this is so sad and offensive.” As you can imagine, there were opposing opinions presented, too. These were folks from the “who cares if it’s bad, I don’t want to change my behavior or think about how my actions impact others” camp. And, just like during the 2016 election, these people were out in force. “You guys look great! Too bad the world is so sensitive these days that even halloween costumes r censored!” Costumes aren’t censored, that’s not what that word means. But people can and should make wise choices about what they wear. “And here come the PC offended ….” People love to misuse “politically correct,” which is a largely meaningless term that’s usually used by people who just aren’t interested in being better people. “Halloween isn’t about representing a cultures struggle it’s about having fun! People are so worried about hurting feelings that nothing is allowed anymore.” That commenter, who apparently forgets that Native Americans exist and might have less fun in the face of such a mocking costume, continued. “I’m from Canada … and there are still indigenous costumes sold and worn. “I think they have beautiful traditional costume and choosing to dress up in one is not disrespectful in anyway. What are people ‘allowed’ to dress up as now a days. Geez! Everything will offend someone.” It’s worth noting that there are literally thousands of Native American women missing in Canada without any explanation. Our polite neighbors to the north aren’t a better authority on how to treat indigenous folks. Another commenter added hyperbole: “People read into way to much now if someone wears a feather in their hat it’s called discrimination I could add so many other examples but it would take me forever get over it people look at it as fun dressing up just love live enjoy #tomuch hate in this world” There are basically endless costume choices. Don’t dress as an outfit to either ridicule or sexualize a marginalized person. There aren’t many rules, but that’s one of them, and it’s super easy to follow. “Get over it. Everything has to be an upset and about race these days. Stop being so up tight and sensitive. It’s not a big deal. There are better things to be up in arms about…” If there’s one thing that minority groups like Native Americans love to hear, it’s “get over it.” That’s right up there with “it’s just a little genocide.” In case you’re concerned about the state of the world (which, actually, you should be) because these comments are so polarized, know that some commenters understand nuance. “She probably doesn’t know. She’s from a different culture.” And that, we think, might be the crux of it. Russ wasn’t able to predict the backlash, we suppose, because he’s a conservative white guy from Oklahoma. That’s not an excuse, mind you. Paola, however, is Columbian. She may have somewhat fair skin, but she is from Central America. She’s not quite. While that doesn’t make Paola part of any Plains Native American ethnic groups and doesn’t fully excuse the costume, it’s something to keep in mind. More to the point, as one of the commenters stated, Paola is still adapting to American culture and was almost certainly not aware that this costume would invite backlash. We can afford to be forgiving, folks. An apology — especially from Russ — would be appropriate, though. Just a few days ago, 38 women came forward and accused director James Toback of sexual misconduct . 38 is an alarmingly high number. The number of accusers has now grown to the hundreds . Among Toback’s accusers are Rachel McAdams and Selma Blair, who are bravely sharing their harrowing stories. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , more and more people in Hollywood are sharing their #MeToo stories and feeling brave enough to speak up, and shatter the culture of silence. One of the men accused of perpetrating a pattern of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry is an Oscar-nominated director. According to the initial allegations, James Toback uses similar tactics on different women. He allegedly approaches young women if they aren’t sent to him and promises to boost their careers, citing what he did for Robert Downey Jr. Once alone in a place like a hotel room, he reportedly becomes inappropriate, all under the guise of it just being part of the entertainment business. He would reportedly try things like humping women’s legs, masturbating in front of them, and ask them unacceptable questions. (In particular, based upon the accusations, he seems obsessed with talking about masturbation and fixated on women’s pubic hair) The issue, of course, is that none of this was consensual. These aren’t accusations of weird dates , these are accusations that he used the false pretense of work-related meetings to lure women to him, where he would then ambush them and coerce them — successfully or not — into playing their role in his twisted fantasies. All of that is enough to turn your stomach, but there’s more. As we said, hundreds of women have now reached out to say that they had experiences like those described with James Tomack. And two big-name actresses, Rachel McAdams and Selma Blair, are sharing their stories with Vanity Fair . Selma Blair says that she met with him to discuss Harvard Man , at a time when Selma Blair had filmed her famous role in Cruel Intentions but the film had not yet been released. After Toback apparently refused to leave his hotel room to meet her in the restaurant, Selma went up to meet him. She describes how uncomfortable she became. “He said, ‘Where are your parents?’ I was thinking, ‘Why is he trying to make me feel so uncomfortable?’ But I realize now he was really trying to figure out what support system I had. I answered him. My mother was in Michigan, and I had an estranged relationship with my father.” Meaning no family support network in town to speak of. “James said, ‘You know, I could have him killed.’ He sat back in his chair and said really confidently, ‘I do it all the time. I know people.'” That’s scary … and it will come up again. “It was about 40 minutes in and he said, ‘Will you trust me? I cannot continue to work with you unless you trust me.’ He said, ‘I need you to take your clothes off. I need you to do this monologue naked.'” As ridiculous as that sounds, Selma was thoroughly intimidated at this point and ended up caving to his request. She says that then, of course, he started rubbing himself through his clothes … and asking if she would have sex with him. She declined, but he didn’t seem impressed by her refusal. “I felt trapped. I did not know how to get out and save face and not make a scene. Was I imagining it? He dropped some names [of actresses] that he did some really dark sexual things with.” And there was an implied threat in that. “These felt like lies and dark gossip and that he would add my name to the list. I went to leave and he got up and blocked the door. He said, ‘You have to do this for me. You cannot leave until I have release.'” “He said, ‘It’s O.K. I can come in my pants. I have to rub up against your leg. You have to pinch my nipples. And you have to look into my eyes.’ I thought, ‘Well, if I can get out of here without being raped …'” No one should ever be put into this position. “He walked me back to the bed. He sat me down. He got on his knees. And he continued to press so hard against my leg. He was greasy and I had to look into those big brown eyes.” Gross. “I tried to look away, but he would hold my face. So I was forced to look into his eyes. And I felt disgust and shame, and like nobody would ever think of me as being clean again after being this close to the devil. His energy was so sinister.” After that, Selma says, he reminded her that he could supposedly have people killed, and admonished her to keep quiet. That didn’t stop Selma from telling her manager that Toback was “vile,” and warning her to note send any women to him again. But she didn’t tell the whole story, she says, to anyone except for two people. Until now. Rachel McAdams also shared her horror story in Vanity Fair . She was a 21-year-old theater student at the time, and she was also auditioning for Harvard Man . At the time, Rachel McAdams had her first TV job to film early the next day, but she eventually agreed to meet him that night. It could, after all, end up being her big break. (Remember, this is before Mean Girls or The Notebook ) “Pretty quickly the conversation turned quite sexual and he said, ‘You know, I just have to tell you. I have masturbated countless times today thinking about you since we met at your audition.'” That … is not appropriate in a workplace environment. And yes, an audition or anything audition-related is very much a workplace environment. Also … gross, dude. Rachel says that he then had her read to him a number of seemingly unrelated passages — like reviews about his work. (There’s no telling if he wanted to make sure that she was impressed, or if he … ugh, gets off on that) “Then he went to the bathroom and left me with some literature to read about him. When he came back he said, ‘I just jerked off in the bathroom thinking about you. Will you show me your pubic hair?’ I said no.” It sounds like, for whatever reason, Toback was less aggressive with her than he is accused of having been with Selma Blair. “Eventually, I just excused myself. I can’t remember how long I was there. I felt like I was there forever. This has been such a source of shame for me — that I didn’t have the wherewithal to get up and leave.” Countless other women didn’t. Few would, in that situation. Society trains us to be polite, innate survival instincts tell us to play along, and the man’s very real power to boost careers added even more complications. “I kept thinking, ‘This is going to become normal any minute now. This is going to all make sense. This is all above board somehow.’ Eventually I just realized that it wasn’t.” And Rachel acknowledges how fortunate she was. “I was very lucky that I left and he didn’t actually physically assault me in any way.” Even so, no one should have to endure that. With hundreds of accusers having come forward, there’s no telling how many are keeping silent. After all, reading a story or a woman who got away or said “no” enough times might actually be discouraging to a woman who did not, rather than liberating. But it’s so important that women — and men — who have faced this kind of unacceptable sexual harassment and sexual assault continue to come forward so that predators can be dragged out into the light of day. There can be healthy relationships between people who work in the entertainment, whether they’re casual or romantic. They might even be for personal gain. They must always be truly consensual, however. Making someone feel cornered or trapped or afraid is a monstrous tactic. If someone fears for their safety or their career if they say “no,” then it’s not consent. And, basically, no one should ever do any of the thing that James Toback is accused of having done. Please. Well… this is one way to deal with sexual harassment allegations. On Thursday afternoon, The New York Times published a bombshell article in which it quoted multiple women who claimed Harvey Weinstein took advantage of them in various inappropriate ways. According to this report, the veteran film producer has settled eight separate sexual misconduct claims over the years. Ashley Judd is among the women who have issued complaints against Weinstein. She’s now on record as saying Weinstein answered his hotel room door in 1997, while Judd was shooting the movie Kiss the Girls, and asked if he could either massage her or if she would watch him take a shower. We know, right? EWWWWW . In response to this multitude of claims against him, Weinstein basically acknowledged his many decades’ worth of lewd behavior. “I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologize for it,” he said, adding at the time: “Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go.” Fair enough, we guess. What else could he really say in the face of these allegations? We now have the answer. In a follow-up statement, clearly written without the help of a publicist, Weinstein opened by blaming the era in which he started his career for how he acted toward the opposite sex. “I came of age in the 60’s and 70’s, when all the rules about behavior and workplaces were different. That was the culture then,” the producer said. “I have since learned it’s not an excuse, in the office – or out of it. To anyone.” Okay, fine. If Weinstein had stopped there, we wouldn’t even be writing this right now. But he didn’t stop there. “Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go. That is my commitment,” he added. “My journey now will be to learn about myself and conquer my demons. Over the last year I’ve asked Lisa Bloom to tutor me and she’s put together a team of people. “I’ve brought on therapists and I plan to take a leave of absence from my company and to deal with this issue head on. I so respect all women and regret what happened.” For the record, Lisa Bloom is a lawyer who specializes in representing celebrities seeking some kind of payday. She sat alongside Blac Chyna this summer, for example, during her revenge porn case against Rob Kardashian . It’s unclear how she has been acting as a “tutor” to Weinstein. Weinstein then wrote this: Jay Z wrote in 4:44 “I’m not the man I thought I was and I better be that man for my children.” The same is true for me. I want a second chance in the community but I know I’ve got work to do to earn it. For the record: Jay Z did not rap these words. What he did rap was this: “And if my children knew/I don’t even know what I would do/If they ain’t look at me the same/I would prob’ly die with all the shame.” From there, Weinstein – inspired, we suppose, by this week’s Las Vegas shooting – turned his attention to… the National Rifle Assocation? Yup. “I’ve decided that I’m going to give the NRA my full attention. I hope Wayne LaPierre will enjoy his retirement party. “I’m going to do it at the same place I had my Bar Mitzvah. I’m making a movie about our President, perhaps we can make it a joint retirement party.” Finally, after touting his progressive bona fides in this manner, Weinstein wrapped it up. “One year ago, I began organizing a $5 million foundation to give scholarships to women directors at USC,” he wrote, concluding: “While this might seem coincidental, it has been in the works for a year. It will be named after my mom and I won’t disappoint her.” We’ve got a feeling it’s way too late for that. Mrs. Weinstein is likely quite disappointed in her son already.
