During that stint, she posed with it in a bikini … presumably while sober. But who knows. Can Lohan’s SCRAM bracelet be tricked so she can still party? The device, which measures alcohol intake via an individual’s sweat, seems impossible to beat. Sensors record any attempt to remove or tamper with it. The New York Daily News , however, suggests that by sticking one’s foot in a tub of ice water, and thus not sweating, one could avoid any positive reading. So … put the keg in the tub and let’s party! SCRAM-ED : Have Lindsay Lohan’s partying days been collared? The newspaper also said that people can try sticking “cold cuts between the unit’s sensor and the wearer, creating a skin-like barrier that doesn’t sweat.” Seriously. There have been entire articles written on this subject, so you know Linds is going to be well-versed in any loopholes or trickery she can employ. Some lawyers and addiction counselors refute that you can “trick” the bracelet, though saying it’s nearly impossible. What about simply … not drinking? This could be a tall order for Lindsay. First of all, she’s going to be so bored. More significantly, the girl has cravings and needs to be satisfied . Fast. Hard. Her motivation to stay clean is strong, however. If that SCRAM device indicates she’s violating the rules, she could end up in jail by the end of the day. Who do you think will prevail?

American Idol bosses have shot down reports that former judge Paula Abdul is returning to the hit reality show. Hollywood has been buzzing with the news that Abdul was set to rejoin the judges’ table less than a year after she left. Last August, Abdul announced long-running negotiations had fallen through and she had quit the singing competition show after eight seasons. She has since been replaced by comedienne Ellen DeGeneres. But now with the news that Simon Cowell is leaving after this season to concentrate on the US version of his hit British show The X Factor , rumors began swirling that Abdul had been offered her old job back. A source told US magazine In Touch: “They want Paula back. They’re not sure if she’d be the fifth judge, but they are talking to her. People tuned in to see Paula’s wacky antics and her chemistry with Simon. The show is just not as much fun to watch without her.” However, American Idol executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz had denied reports Fox network executives are wooing Abdul back. Frot-Coutaz told the New York Daily News : “There’s no truth to that rumor.”

But pals of the Hollywood couple have laughed off any claims that they are separating. “Friends of Liev and Naomi will all tell you that they’re doing great.
