In just two weeks, Pippa Middleton will marry James Matthews . Usually, this close to a wedding (particularly a high-profile “almost royal” wedding), the guest list is pretty much etched in stone, but in this case it seems there’s a lot of last-minute tinkering going on. In order to understand why the guest list is so important to Pippa, you have to remember that it was a wedding that made her a household name. For much of the world, Kate and William’s wedding was the first time they laid eyes on the younger Middleton sister. For reasons that remain unclear, Pippa’s butt became a worldwide trending topic, but the love affair between her pert backside and the public would prove short-lived. After a few failed attempts at careers in the public eye, Pippa is mostly a footnote these days, but she reportedly sees this wedding as an opportunity to crawl back into the headlines, however briefly. As such, the supporting cast that will surround her on the big day has to be meticulously curated. Pippa is reportedly attempting a tricky balancing act – loading the guest with enough big names to ensure that her wedding is a star-studded affair, while at the same time avoiding being overshadowed by up-and-comers more famous than herself. Obviously, Meghan Markle is the up-and-comer du jour, and Pippa is reportedly very concerned about being outshone. As recently as last month, Meghan was not invited to Pippa’s wedding , a casualty of the “no ring, no bring policy” (guests who aren’t married or engaged aren’t permitted a “plus one). After some cajoling, Pippa reportedly eased up and gave Harry permission to bring Meghan to the reception, but not to the ceremony. Insiders say Harry made it clear that that wasn’t good enough, and if Meghan was not invited to the ceremony , he wouldn’t be attending either. Apparently the ultimatum worked, because The Daily Express is reporting today that Pippa has broken down and offered Meghan a formal invitation to watch her say “I do.” We imagine the evening will be more than a little awkward, as Pippa has indirectly made it quite clear that she doesn’t want Meghan there. Brooklyn Cop Gets In Trouble Over Using “BlackLivesMatter” Hashtag A Brooklyn cop is under scrutiny with the NYPD  after she replied to a department Twitter post with the hash tag “Blacklivesmatter,” according to The NY Daily News . Police officer Gwendolyn Bishop responded to a post from February 2016 about a gun arrest using her own personal Twitter account, writing, “Sad day for the 76th Pct. #Blacklivesmatter.” The reply was made under her personal twitter account, @ducklipzanddimplzz, which has been deactivated. According to her attorney, John Tynan said, her Twitter account did not identify her as a cop. Also, from Tynan, she was not in violation of department rules, since she was not using the department Twitter account but was responding through her personal account as any other person on Twitter is allowed to do. The four and a half-year veteran told her superiors that she didn’t remember replying to the post, and that she rarely uses Twitter. When pressed about the issue on Tuesday, the officer says she meant to write #BlueLivesMatter and autocorrect got the best of her. If she’s found to be guilty, she faces 30 vacation days taken away and one year probation. That’s some BS.

Toby Willis, Former TLC Star, Arraigned on Child Rape Charges

Toby Willis, the patriarch of a family who formerly starred in its own TLC series, has been arraigned on four counts of child rape on Monday in Tennessee. According to The Tennessean newspaper, Willis pleaded not guilty to the charges and his trial will begin on July 18. The ex-reality star was arrested in September after authorities completed their investigation into an alleged sexual encounter he had an underage girl a dozen years ago. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations confirmed last fall that Willis fled his home in Ashland County to avoid arrest at the time and was eventually apprehended by the police in Greenville, Kentucky. The victim’s name has not yet been released, but The Daily Beast followed up initial reports by speculating that the individual may have been one of Willis’ own kids. The website wrote in September that a “child rape” charge only enters into the conversation in Tennessee if the alleged victim is between the ages of 3 and 12. Moreover, court documents obtained by FOX411 a few months back stated outright that the alleged victim is a female Willis family member. Toby and his wife are the parents to eight kids, although it remains possible the victim could have been an outside relative, such as a niece. Elsewhere, Nashville’s Newschannel 5 reported on other lewd details of the alleged incident back when this scandal was making major headlines in September. “The report stated she was removed by Willis from her bed and raped,” the station claimed, adding: “The reports added unlawful penetration by Willis took place when the child was older than 3 but younger than 13… “Authorities confirmed Willis was told he was not allowed to go around his biological children or his wife.” Toby Willis and his family previously starred on TLC’s The Willis Family, which ran for two seasons, after rising to fame while competing on season 9 of America’s Got Talent. Willis set to appear in court on May 31 after completing psychological testing requested by his attorney. However, the state chose to present its cause to the March grand jury, Circuit Court Clerk Julie Hibbs told the newspaper. Shortly after Toby’s arrest, wife Brenda issued the following statement: I was shocked and devastated by the revelation of events leading to Toby Willis’ arrest. As these are very trying times for the Willis family, I kindly ask all to respect our family’s privacy. As a mother of twelve, my first priority remains with my children and helping them through this traumatic event. We are cancelling all appearances for the foreseeable future to focus on the children and their well-being. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We have, and will continue, to fully cooperate with law enforcement officials and ask that you direct all inquires regarding Toby Willis’ case to the District Attorney’s office who have our complete support. Nick Viall vs. Jax Taylor: Unexpected Feud Alert!

Sometimes people who have the most in common have trouble getting along for the simple reason that they each see their worst qualities reflected in one another. It’s probably why Quentin Tarantino has beef with fellow fast-talking movie geek Spike Lee. It might even be have something to do with the fact that Donald Trump hates fellow rage-aholic white guy Alec Baldwin so much more than all the other comics who roast him. And it’s definitely the reason that Vanderpump Rules’ resident d-bag Jax Taylor can’t get along with fellow reality douche Nick Viall: As you probably know by now,  Viall got engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi  on last night’s season finale of The Bachelor. But while Vanessa may have fallen head-over-heels for Nick, it seems Jax would rather give him a heel to the head. It seems the famous-ish bros butted heads at a recent event to promote a mutual friend’s new hotel/nightclub venture. According to Taylor, he asked Viall to pose for a pic to help promote the business, and Nick rudely refused. “I go, ‘First of all, buddy, don’t toot your own horn, I have no f—ing idea who you are,’” Jax recently told Bravo’s Daily Dish blog. Hilariously, Jax proceeded to go off on Viall for, of all things, starring on a “disposable reality show”: “I know you’re on The Bachelor — okay, good for you, great,” Taylor said. “You’re on a disposable reality show that you’ll be gone in five minutes and no one will know who you are, so you want to get your five minutes of fame in now.” In case he hadn’t already made his feelings perfectly clear, Jax added: “I just think he’s a d-bag,”  Yes, when this is the same Jax Taylor who, despite pulling in over half a million a year, still gets arrested for stealing sunglesses . El Chapo From Prison: Hey, Am I Still Famous?

Eventually, you’ll be familiar with El Chapo from the inevitable Netflix series based on his exploits, but in case you can’t wait that long, here’s a run-down: Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was digging tunnels in Mexico long before the Donald hatched his cartoon supervillain plan to build a border wall. The infamous drug lord escaped from prison twice  before being recaptured and extradited to the United States. As if that’s not Hollywood enough, it was actor Sean Penn who inadvertently led police to El Chapo after interviewing the head of the Sinaloa Cartel for a piece in Rolling Stone. These days, Guzman’s life is considerably less glamorous. The 62-year-old is currently being held in solitary confinement in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Complex. Sources say Guzman is confined to a “closet-sized” cell 23 hours a day, five days a week. He’s permitted to leave the cell for one hour each weekday so that he can work out on a treadmill or stationary bike to prevent his muscles from atrophying. Chapo’s lawyers are in court this week arguing that the treatment is inhumane, and petitioning for their client to be relocated to the facility’s general population wing. It’s a tough sell for a couple of reasons: 1. Chapo is a two-time escapee, and if prison officials are no doubt concerned that he’ll try again. 2. Chapo is an A-list celebrity in the crime world, a fact that could make him an esay target for inmates with something to prove. Interestingly, insiders tell TMZ that Guzman isn’t all that concerned with the upcoming trial that will likely land him behind bars for the rest of his life. Instead, he’s reportedly more focused on his celebrity status . “He regularly asks his lawyers, ‘What are they saying about me?’ He’s very concerned about his image,” says a source inside the prison. Of course, he needn’t worry too much, as a story like his probably won’t go too much longer without being adapted for the screen. But on the other hand, the guy had to spend two days hanging out with Sean Penn. So when you think about it, he’s really already suffered enough.

Blatt says the footage is being shopped around “porn valley” at a price of $500,000. That’s not shabby, if it’s any comfort to Barton. “I know that at least three large online porn sites, YouPorn.com, Porn.com and RedTube.com, have reviewed it and they’re all seriously considering the offer,” Blatt says. “I’ve seen stills from the video, it’s clearly Mischa,” he adds. “She’s seen performing a sex act on a guy and can be seen having sex in various positions.” That last part isn’t too surprising, really. Barton doesn’t weigh very much. It’s easy to see how a partner could maneuver her body around pretty easily. It is believed the video was shot at a private residence in Hollywood within the past year, although it’s unclear what evidence exists to back up this claim. In January, Barton was hospitalized for a mental evaluation after police responded to calls about a disturbance at her West Hollywood apartment. She was allegedly spotted by neighbors leaning over her backyard fence and rambling about her mother being a witch. There were initial reports that claimed Barton was topless at the scene and making “incoherent statements” when approached by authorities. Woman Who Fainted In Front Of Subway Survives But Loses Arm And Leg 25-year-old Sophie Yu survived falling in front of an oncoming 6 train Wednesday in Manhattan but she remains in hospitalized after losing her right arm below the elbow and right leg below the knee. “Her family is devastated,” close pal, who asked not to be identified, told t he New York Daily News. “There’s a lot of stuff they need to figure out right now … She’s going to have a lot to go through.” Police and witnesses say Yu, who is a Wharton business school grad, swooned and fell to the tracks as the train pulled into the 51st St. station on the Lexington Ave. line around 1:30 p.m. The subway motorman saw Yu fall and attempted to stop, slamming on the brakes, however his attempt was unsuccessful. Yu’s shoes remained on the platform after her fall. She regained consciousness while being rescued and was alert as workers carefully removed her from beneath the train. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition. “I’m not sure how much her (parents) know,” said the friend. “We are all supporting her, and I think that’s all she needs right now.” Prayers up for Sophie right now.
