R.I.P. Beloved House Music DJ Frankie Knuckles Passes Away At 59

We have lost another great one … This is so sad. Frankie Knuckles, The Godfather Of House, Dies From Diabetes Complications Via NY Daily News reports : The “Godfather of House” has died. Legendary DJ and music producer Frankie Knuckles passed away Monday, aged 59. The official cause of death is currently unknown, but some reports suggest it was from complications related to Type II Diabetes. Born in the Bronx in 1955, Knuckles first played disco in New York alongside Larry Levan – before moving to Chicago in the 1970s. It was there he started spinning at The Warehouse – the club credited with giving birth to the house music genre – before opening up his own venue The Power Plant in 1983. A prolific producer, he formed Def Mix Productions with Morales – and worked with stars including Diana Ross, Chaka Khan and Michael Jackson. His break as an independent artist came in 1991 when Virgin released his debut album “Beyond the Mix” – containing seminal singles “The Whistle Song,” “Rainfalls” and “Workout.” The City of Chicago renamed a stretch of Jefferson Street, near the site of the original Warehouse club, as “Frankie Knuckles Way” in 2004. Shook Ones … But can you blame her? Fortunately he left without causing any problems. According to NY Daily News reports : A New Jersey woman’s nightmare began after she woke up. The unidentified Montclair woman jolted awake at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday and found herself staring straight into the eyes of a shirtless man. “Are you ready for me?” the intruder asked, standing at the foot of her bed in nothing but blue jeans. The terrified woman screamed at the top of her lungs, while the man walked “casually” out the apartment’s back door, The Star-Ledger reports. Detective-Sergeant Wilhelm B. Young said the intruder never attempted to move closer or touch the woman. The woman told cops she may have left the back door of her Pine Street apartment building open that night. The intruder is described as 30 to 40 years old, very thin and wearing “some sort of head wear.” We’re glad she’s okay. The stranger in the house scenario is no bueno. Clearly he wasn’t using that anger management book anyway… Man Hits Girlfriend With Anger Management Workbook Forget anger management classes, these two need Iyanla to fix their lives. According to NY Daily News: Spartanburg County deputies have arrested a man who they say hit his girlfriend with a workbook from his anger management class during an argument, and she cut his arm with a box cutter. A sheriff’s office incident report said 22-year-old Sheelah Thompson and her 23-year-old boyfriend Tyler Ford were fighting about their relationship Monday night at their Spartanburg apartment when Ford rolled up the book and hit his girlfriend on the cheek. Deputies say Ford had a deep cut on his arm. Thompson told an officer she cut her boyfriend because he tried to strangle her. Ford told a deputy his girlfriend cut him because she was angry after he hit her with the book. Both were charged with criminal domestic violence. Thank God this domestic dispute didn’t end with someone in a pine box.

Hide Ya Kids: Teacher Busted By One-Time For Chopping Down 15-Year-Old Boy

When will teachers stop dippin’ it low and spreading it wide for underage peen? Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Student SMH. According to Click 2 Houston: A Cypress Fairbanks ISD teacher is facing multiple charges, accused of sexually assaulting an underage male student. Corrie Anne Long, a math teacher at Hopper Middle School, is charged with improper relationship with a student and sexual assault of a child under 17 years of age. Court documents state a student reported seeing strange behavior between Long and a male 8th grade student. The student told investigators they saw the 8th grader hitting Long on her behind. The student also said they saw Long sitting on the lap of the 8th grader. “It can be seen through just the two of them, their daily interaction, that they had something inappropriate, and we get an entire case,” said prosecutor Joshua Phanco. The student victim told investigators that Long is his math teacher and that he has known her since the 6th grade. Court documents show the boy admitted to police that he and Long were involved in a sexual act in her classroom on Nov. 15, 2013. The boy told investigators Long told him not to say anything because she would lose her job. The victim was 15 at the time of the incident. Cy-Fair ISD officials said, “The safety of our students is always our highest priority. The District took immediate action to remove the teacher once the allegations were made, and we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement in this matter.” These ain’t learnin’ isht nowadays except what position their teachers like the best. Only in Florida Woman Accused Of Performing Illegal C-Section On Dog What type of person does some fawkery like this? According to NY Daily News: A Florida woman is accused of performing a lethal C-section on a dog without anesthesia before using non-surgical glue to close the incision. Candace Patricia Hauser, who authorities said did not have a license to practice veterinary care, was arrested in Tampa Saturday — a little more than a week after the Mastiff died from its senseless injuries. Authorities say the trouble began after dog owner Brenda Hines of Winter Haven brought the pregnant Mastiff to Hauser for help after the dog went into labor on March 4. “She takes it over to the woman and the woman starts to help this dog birth by manual means — she actually reached into the dog and pulls 12 puppies out,” said Ron Spiller with the Hillsborough County Animal Safety and Enforcement. It was when the dog had trouble delivering her last two puppies that Spilled said Hauser, 31, decided to open the dog up, without anesthesia. “She glued the incision, she didn’t suture it, she glued it,” Spiller said of her handiwork once the puppies were out. The dog, described by her owner to police as in declining health, died in her owner’s car. She faces a maximum of five years behind bars and the lost right to own animals in Hillsborough County. Mr. Bobby Ray was a guest of honor at most of the hottest rap shows at South By’s 28th annual blowout including Nas’ Illmatic warmup and the Brisk Bodega all-star bash. Yahoo’s Show was no different. Headlined by a non-microphone-throwing 2 Chainz, B.o.B entertained with hits of days past and his latest album Underground Luxury, before working up a feverish sweat.
