This is so sad. Two People Dead In Murder-Suicide Another instance of sad and senseless violence. According to NY Daily News: An Indianapolis Metropolitan police officer broke into his estranged wife’s home Thursday evening and shot her dead before turning the gun on himself, police said. “It’s a very difficult day in the city of Indianapolis,” Mayor Greg Ballard said at a 9:30 p.m. press conference. “We have lost two of our own. This one hurts deeply. This one hurts very deeply.” Sgt. Ryan Anders forced his way into the back door of Officer Kim Carmack’s home on Inishmore Way on the city’s west side around 5:40 p.m., police Chief Rick Hite said. Neighbors called police after hearing gunshots, and a responding SWAT team found the two dead inside. Carmack, a 21-year veteran of the city police force, had previously filed a restraining order against Anders, a 7-year veteran. Anders was on administrative leave after allegations of domestic violence and was required to turn in his service weapon, Hite said. “We had concerns about (Carmack),” Hite said of her rocky relationship with her estranged spouse. “We had concerns about both of them.” SMH. Sad and senseless. Boy Shot Twice In The Head In Brooklyn Crossfire It’s a shame this innocent boy could possibly die over senseless violence. According to NY Daily News: A 13-year-old was shot twice in the head in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Monday when he was caught in the crossfire, cops and witnesses said. The teen was outside 1066 Flatbush Ave. with his mother around noon when he was shot once behind the ear and once in the eye, witnesses said. Pizzeria manager Rufino Salazar, 25, said the mother and blood-spattered son came running into Avenue Pizza II after the gunshots rang out. “He was shot in the right eye,” Salazar said. “She was screaming, ‘My boy is dying! My boy is dying!’” The teen, Gama Droiville, was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in serious but stable condition. Assitou Diallo, 49, was with her 10-year-old son outside the pizza shop when the bullets began flying. Diallo said she pushed her son inside the shop, and began trying to care for the wounded teen. “I was standing right there,” she said, pointing at the spot where the teen was struck. “It just missed me.” SMH.
With a failed talk show under her belt, SkinnyGirl Bethenny Frankel will NOT be returning to the Real Housewives of New York . While the SkinnyGirl creator has made quite a name for herself, she said that her journey to the top of the pasta and alcohol food chain has been rife with so many disasters, so many failures, so many low points” and, she told the audience, “no amount of money can heal pain, suffering and loss.” While a source close to Frankel says that the former RHONY star won’t “stoop” to return to the series that helped launch her career, she is in talks with Bravo’s Andy Cohen to come back to his cable channel in a different series. Perhaps one where the bitter divorce in which she is currently embroiled plays out.
