A Bronx woman passed away this week after complications from a wound caused by her boyfriend in previous days turned fatal. According to the NY Daily News , Dayanara Carela, 44, had her foot hacked with a sword by a deranged boyfriend. Police arrive her apartment in the Bronx atabout 9 p.m. on November 3 on a report that she had been assaulted. Her live-in boyfriend, Gilbert Nunez, had attacked with the sword in a jealous rage. Medics took from her to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition with severe gash to her left foot. She was treated there for an unknown period of time and released. Nunez, 43, was arrested Nov. 5 on felony assault charges for the alleged attack. Carela refused to cooperate with prosecutors and so he was released on his own recognizance on November 9th, and resumed her relationship with Nunez. On Nov. 18, Nunez called 911 to report that Carela was in medical distress. Medics took her to Montefiore Medical Center where she died the same day. Her death was later deemed a homicide related to the original wound. The city Medical Examiner concluded she died from blood clots that formed as a result of the attack — technically, “a bilateral pulmonary embolism due to deep vein thrombosis due to lower extremity complicating chop wound of left foot.” Nunez could face upgraded charges in the wake of Carela’s death. He is due back in court Dec. 17. SMH, so sad!!

Source: Patrick Foto / Getty Her Attempted Getaway Was Beyond Messy One homeless woman was completely reckless when she tried to get away with a car in Brooklyn. According to New York Daily News , she tried to steal the car, even with a 2-year-old girl in the back seat. Cops say the toddler’s mom left her kid strapped in a car seat in the back of a blue Honda Accord at about 12:45 p.m. on Sutter Ave in East New York. When the mom ran into a store to pick up something to eat, she left the door unlocked and the engine still running. This is when Adrea Aronald, 52, allegedly jumped into the car’s driver seat and stepped on the gas to go on a joy ride. Interestingly enough, Ms. Adrea didn’t get too far. She drove the car about two blocks, to Sutter Ave. and Crescent St, where she ran into a bicyclist, according to police. Aronald then turned onto Belmont Ave. and crashed into three parked cars. Smh. The cyclist suffered minor injuries and luckily, the little girl in the back wasn’t hurt. Aronald was caught on the scene and charged with kidnapping, grand larceny and reckless endangerment.

Alec Baldwin has spent the past two years or so punching back at Donald Trump by portraying the President on Saturday Night Live. But now the actor has been arrested for a different sort of punch back. As in: Baldwin has been arrested for punching some dude in the face. According to TMZ and NBC News, the veteran actor got into an altercation with his alleged unnamed victim around 10th Street and 5th Avenue in New York City on Friday. Insiders tell the aforementioned celebrity gossip website that Baldwin had a friend holding a parking spot for him… … but that this other fella dared to swoop in and take it. (It’s unclear at the moment just how the friend was holding the spot for Baldwin.) Baldwin took exception to what he saw as a parking spot heist, screamed at the perpetrator and then slugged him in the face. The victim, reportedly a 49-year old male, was then taken to a nearby hospital. And Baldwin was placed under arrest. The actor lives in the area and has a well-earned reputation for being a hothead. The only real surprise in this story is that the man on the receiving end of Baldwin’s fist was not a photographer. Over the past few years, Alec has mixed it up several times with paparazzi members in the streets of the Big Apple. He was arrested in May of 2014 for confronting a police officer… … he verbally abused a Daily Mail writer the year before . … and he hurled gay slurs at a different photographer in between these incidents, stirring up understandable controversy and drama in the process. Accompanied by his wife and his daughter during this latter confrontation, which took place almost exactly four years ago, Baldwin referred to his then-nemesis as a “c-cksucking f-g.” It was a very low moment for the outspoken Liberal. He apologized afterward and has remained relatively calm ever since. Until now, that is. Not long after news of Baldwin’s arrest went public, President Trump was asked about the incident and showed surprising restraint by responding with a simple: “I wish him luck.” Neither Baldwin nor anyone on his team has spoken out yet about the arrest. The actor has four children under the age of five with his wife Hilaria, as well as an adult daughter with first wife, Kim Basinger. He once labeled that daughter, Ireland, as a “pig” in an infamous voicemail he left for her as a child. But Ireland and her dad have since made up and the former has even defended her dad on Twitter, saying he deserved credit for dealing with what she called “anger management issues.” He may now need to have that credit revoked, however.

These days, tt’s not exactly news when Kim Kardashian poses nude on social media. Of course, that’s got nothing to do with any sort of deterioration in Kim’s appearance. In fact, as far as we can tell, the 38-year-old mother of three is aging like Benjamin Button. But Kim’s been a household name for well over a decade now, and the internet has the attention span of a gnat who missed its morning Adderall dose. So it should come as no surprise that Kim’s curves don’t possess as much clout as they used to. Although as she proved today, Mrs. Kardashian-West can still break the internet and stir up some controversy when she wants to. That’s a pic that appeared on Kim’s Instagram page this afternoon. “My heavenly baby! Showing off the new pink shadows in the Flashing Lights Collection wearing Flashy and High Key available at KKWbeauty.com,” Kim captioned the photo. Sadly, it wasn’t long before the most insidious form of species of troll — the North American mom-shamer — descended on the pic’s comments section. “The baby’s shoulder is touching Kim’s breast!!” commented one follower, presumably while clutching her pearls. “That’s so creepy..she looks like a pedo,” wrote another fan. And since this is the internet in 2018, some folks were just flat-out cruel for no reason, with one follower writing, “ulgy [sic] baby like de father.” Stay classy, Instagram commenters. Interestingly, Kim was mom-shamed for two different pics today. She also posted this photo of 5-year-old North wearing eyeliner from her cosmetics line. Predictably, some idiots trashed Kim for putting makeup on a first grader, others for “using” her daughter to sell makeup. “So now babies are selling eyeshadow too, I don’t know it’s just a lil much for me,” wrote one such dipsh-t. “Not long before plastic surgery.” Yes, because clearly, that child is miserable and over-worked. You’ve flouted our nation’s labor laws for long enough, Kardashians! This has been your daily reminder that social media is a curse from the very darkest depths of hell. It’s been three months since Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child , and from the looks of her latest Instagram pics, the 24-year-old wasted no time in getting back to her fitness regimen. Fans have marveled at Jinger’s post-baby body , and many have asked the Counting On star for tips and tricks. Fortunately, Jinger is happy to fill fans in on her weight loss methods. Un fortunately, her followers might not be thrilled with Jinger’s “secrets.” It turns out, Jinger has stuck to the basics in the months since she welcomed little Felicity into the world. Insiders say she eats right and exercises a lot — a fact Jinger confirmed with her latest Instagram posts. Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, currently reside in Laredo, Texas, and while they escaped the brunt of Hurricane Michael, their proximity to the Gulf Coast means the couple has faced some pretty wild weather lately. But Jinger didn’t let the rain and wind stand in the way of her daily jogs. Jinger recently documented the stormy weather on her Instagram page and informed fans that it would not stop her from getting in a vigorous workout: “Perfect day for a run,” she captioned the above photo. As rich and famous as they are, the Duggars tend to eschew luxuries such as personal trainers and Hollywood trends like fad diets. So it stands to reason that Jinger would favor the old-fashioned approach when trying to lose that last little bit of baby weight. Needless to say, the old ways seem to be working for her. And one of Jinger’s famous peers recently took notice. “Uhm so that mama is looking fantastic. Congrats on your new baby girl!!!” Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff recently commented on one of Jinger’s pics. “She gets prettier every day.” Jeremy was quick to second that opinion, responding, “She gets prettier every day.” Obviously, baby Felicity is Jinger’s number one priority these days, but it seems she’s also taking time to look after herself while Jeremy watches the baby.
