KIKA/WENN.com Tyga Slaps Birdman & Cash Money With $10 Million Lawsuit For Withholding Royalties According to The Blast Birdman is trying to work out a settlement with Tyga for the $10 million lawsuit he filed after leaving Cash Money Records. He is claiming the record label screwed him out of millions of dollars in royalties. Tyga sued Cash Money and Young Money Records earlier the year accusing them of refusing to pay him royalties for his albums “Careless World” and “Hotel California”. The “Taste” rapper sued Birdman for breach of contract and is seeking a total of $10 million in damages. Court documents were filed earlier this month on Birdman’s behalf where Cash Money is asking for an extension to respond to the lawsuit. Birdman acknowledges that his answer was due this week but is requesting until the end of the month to work the issue out. He stated that Tyga has already agreed to the “extension of time to facilitate ongoing settlement discussions.”

One of the maids even passed out drunk on her kitchen floor. Genevieve Snow vented about the whole incident on Facebook writing, “I hired two ladies from Joanna’s Cleaning Service in Brooklyn and they didn’t clean a thing, just drank all my liquor and fu**ed up my home.” According to the New York Post , Snow let the two maids in her house before heading off to work that day, then one of her housemate woke up a few hours later to discover the cleaners eating on the couch. “You know when you are not supposed to be doing something, people jerk up really quickly? They did that,” said Snow’s roommate Kristen Nepomuceno. Nepomuceno then went off to work and when she returned home around 5:30 p.m., that’s when she discovered one of the maids passed out on the floor next to a smashed spice rack. The house was also a mess and the other maid was nowhere to be found. Nepomuceno left the apartment and called the police. When they all arrived back at the scene, the maid was awake, chilling on the couch eating some ice cream. “She is licking ice cream and hammered, beyond hammered. She drank one whole bottle of Broker’s Gin and [most of] a bottle of Kettle,” said Nepomuceno. The NYPD told the New York Post that they sent the drunk woman to a hospital. They weren’t able to charge her with anything, since she didn’t commit any crimes, so they suggested Snow take it up in civil court. Snow says she was left with more than $400 worth of damages. However, when she asked for reimbursement from the cleaning company, she says they tried to explain the chaos with a sob story. Apparently, the woman who passed out in the kitchen had a rough week. “Her husband left her after 19 years marriage, and that day when she was cleaning your apartment she had the phone call that her teenage daughter is pregnant,” Joanna Oltuszewska, a contact for the business, wrote in a response email to Snow. “She couldn’t stop her emotions and that’s why she used the alcohol, thats never happened before.” To make matters even worse, Snow says she’s used the Brooklyn-based Joanna Cleaning Service on certain occasions since 2013. However, when she posted about her recent bad experience on Yelp, a woman identifying herself as Joanna Sokolowska reached out to Snow and said her company, Joanna Cleaning Service, hadn’t cleaned Snow’s home since 2017. Sokolowska says Snow must have been conned by Oltuszewska, who was a former employee of the cleaning service, but got fired back in 2013. Oltuszewska reportedly set up a rival company called Joanna’s Cleaning after she got the boot. Snow is now trying to figure out who she should bill (and sue) for her damages. “If there really are two Joanna’s Cleaning Services, I want to know who owns both of them and where they are registered,” Snow said. “The end goal is finding an address to sue the business.” Smh. What a mess.

According to ESPN , the unnamed driver is asking for $75,000 for damages in the nature of emotional distress and future therapy expenses.” The groping incident occured back in 2016, which ultimately led to his three-game suspension by the NFL. According to reports, the lawsuit alleges that while waiting in the drive-thru line of Los Betos restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, in March 2016, Winston was “belligerent” and “leaned toward [her] and placed his fingers between her legs and pressed them firmly against her vagina over her yoga pants.” She looked at Winston, down at his hand, and responded, “What’s up with that?” before Winston withdrew his hand, the suit says. She then immediately tried calling her boyfriend before sending him a series of text messages. In one of the texts, she wrote, “I just got semi-molested by the Tampa Bay Buc QB,” and that she was “pretty shaken up …” The woman did not file a report with police but had discussed it with her boyfriend. She did report the incident to Uber the next day. Uber contacted Winston, who told the ride-share service that there were other passengers in the vehicle that night. In the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, the plaintiff, identified as “Kate P.”, states that despite Winston’s three-game suspension, he “issued a hollow apology” in July and “has a history of sexually hostile behavior and appears to be no closer to understanding the impact of his conduct.” Yikes! An eight-month NFL investigation concluded that Winston engaged in detrimental conduct that night by “touching the driver in an inappropriate and sexual manner without her consent and that disciplinary action was necessary and appropriate.” Sounds pretty straightforward to us! Time for Winston to pay up for being pervy!
(Family courtesy photo via AP) It has been almost six months since two Sacramento police officers shot and killed 22-year-old Stephon Clark as he stood in the backyard of his grandmother’s home. The officers fired about 20 shots and said that they thought he was holding a gun and were in fear for their lives. He was only holding a cell phone. The Sacramento Police Department’s internal investigation of the shooting is still ongoing, as is the investigation being led by the California State Attorney General. Both officers involved in Clark’s death have been back on the job for at least four months, and activists continue demanding justice for his death. According to the Sacramento Bee, Clark’s family has filed $35 million in wrongful death claims with the city of Sacramento. The city has not officially released any documents to confirm this, a news release acknowledged that claims forms seeking damages “in excess of $15 million” for “nine separate causes of action that include negligence and wrongful death” have been filed with the city. Los Angeles attorney Dale Galipo and other attorneys reportedly filed claims seeking $20 million for Clark’s two children and $15 million for his grandparents and parents. According to the Bee , the documents were filed just before the six-month deadline to submit a wrongful death claim to the city. Such claims usually indicate a federal civil rights lawsuit will follow. Woman Sues Husband For Knowingly Infecting Her With Herpes A Manhattan woman is suing her soon-to-be ex-husband to the tune of $4 million dollars claiming he hid the status of his Herpes diagnosis for years and passed the disease on to her. Adrienne Vanterpool says her former spouse Lionel Canton didn’t divulge that he indeed had herpes until 2014, a whole 4 years into their marriage, and that he admitted to knowing about it since 2005. Vanterpool got tested immediately after he came clean and discovered she was positive now she wants him to pay up. Vanterpool wants $1million in alleged damages and another $3million as ‘punishment’ for 63-year-old Canton.

Nelly & Monique Greene In Legal Battle Over Alleged Rape Nelly’s rape accuser is hitting back at the rapper’s claims that she littered her court filings with salacious, irrelevant details and pics in order to sway the court and public opinion. The “Hot in Here” rapper asked a judge to strike portions of Monique Greene’s complaint, arguing they were purposely malicious, unproven, and had nothing to do with the case except to ruin Nelly’s rep. Greene sued Nelly last year after she said his handlers lured her to the rapper’s tour bus, where he raped her. Nelly has countersued her, alleging she made false statements to law enforcement in order to get him arrested. Lawyers for Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, argued that elements from Greene’s complaint – including allegations from two unnamed women who said Nelly sexually assaulted them, photos of the two women with Nelly, and another photo of Nelly in handcuffs – weren’t hard facts, and were designed to inflame the public about the alleged rape. TMZ But Greene’s lawyer filed paperwork Wednesday said Nelly’s motion didn’t have a shot in hell because the allegations, photos and other evidence in her complaint – no matter now unpleasant – actually describe what happened. Greene also said that she included the other women’s testimony to illustrate Nelly’s alleged pattern of sexual abuse. Greene’s lawyer Karen Kohler said police in the U.K. are investigating one of the woman’s claims, while the other woman is a sergeant in the U.S. Army. Greene wants the judge to bar Nelly ( and specifically, his penis ) from abusing any other women – and not money – which contradict’s Nelly’s assertion that Greene’s lawsuit was a “money grab,” Greene’s court papers state. “Given the scheme and pattern of conduct and the multiple instances of wrongful conduct against female members of the public who attend his concerts as described in the complaint, an injunction is a viable remedy,” Greene’s court papers, obtained by BOSSIP, state. “It is also no worse in terms of being humiliating to Defendant Nelly – than a jury finding him liable for committing the sexual assaults detailed in the complaint and assessing money damages.” Greene’s lawyer said Nelly and his legal team have played dirty from the get go, launching a campaign of intimidation and threats against Greene that began the day after the alleged rape and in the middle of the criminal investigation, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. We all heard the horrifying story of what Harvey Weinstein allegedly did to his former assistant . But, as you can imagine, the 65-year-old former mega-producer had multiple assistants over the years. One of those assistants, Sandeep Rehal, is now suing over the way that she says Harvey Weinstein treated her. This goes beyond what most of us think of as workplace sexual harassment. The accusation that she says that she was regularly required to clean up semen and condoms, which is gross , barely scratches the surface. TMZ reports that Sandeep Rehal is suing Harvey Weinstein and also Rob Weinstein for “unspecified damages.” She says that she started working as Harvey Weinstein’s personal assistant in 2013. According to her accusations, while she worked as his assistant, if they sat together in a car, he would rub her between her thighs. She describes how he would allegedly press against her when they walked, and use derogatory language to refer to her — calling her things like “c–t” and “p–sy.” Sandeep accuses Harvey Weinstein of repeatedly using the line: “What’s wrong Sandeep, is the tampon up too far today?” Obviously, that’s inexcusable to say under any circumstances, because it’s sexist and vile. In a workplace environment, it’s normally a reason to go to HR. She also describes Harvey Weinstein in a way that matches the description of him as a leering, power-mad ogre that we’ve heard so much, saying that he was fond of the phrase: “I am Harvey Weinstein and you are at Weinstein University. I decide whether or not you graduate.” And then it gets worse. Sandeep says that Harvey Weinstein had her manage an updated list of “available women” for his sexual conquests. She did even more to facilitate that, making sure that he was stocked with Caverject shots for erectile dysfunction. To be clear, TMZ isn’t suggesting that Sandeep is saying that she helped him plan Weinstein’s alleged rapes of various actresses. Just that she managed his itinerary. But then comes what might be the grossest part that doesn’t involve Weinstein touching or speaking to her. She says that she was regularly required to clean semen from Harvey Weinstein’s couch, and to pick up his used condoms. Ewww . She also had to obtain clean underwear for him, but out of context, getting clothes for your boss is often a pretty standard job for personal assistants. (In context … it’s still icky) In response, Harvey Weinstein’s representation tells TMZ : “Mr. Weinstein categorically denies these claims and his lawyers will respond in the appropriate legal forum with evidence proving they are untrue.” So, your pretty standard denial. A little different from the “remembering things differently” line that came out in response to Lupita Nyong’o’s disturbing story . “The evidence will show these claims for money are in the realm of a science fiction movie.” Sandeep Rehal isn’t even the only woman suing, of course. It sounds like Weinstein’s lawyers are going to be very, very busy. There has been backlash against the #MeToo movement, mostly by men who think think that each of the accused is being portrayed as being equal to the others. (They aren’t; people have been very clear that James Franco is no Harvey Weinstein , because of course he isn’t) And then there are the usual irritating defenses — reductions to the absurd like “what, I can’t talk to women anymore?” to which most of us just want to respond: “If that’s your takeaway, then yes.” Because if you can’t tell the difference between talking to a woman and saying inappropriate things to her, you shouldn’t be talking to anyone. But even the most devoted contrarians seem to agree that Harvey Weinstein sounds horrifying. He was the string that was pulled to unravel so many sex monsters. Getty Images Shantel Jackson Said She Did Not Steal Big Bucks From Ex-Floyd Mayweather As rapper Nelly fights a civil lawsuit for rape, his girlfriend Shantel Jackson may also be headed to a courtroom soon. “The Platinum Life” star has fired back on ex-boyfriend Floyd Mayweather’s claim that she stole cash and used his credit card without permission to fund shopping sprees. The retired pro-boxer said that Jackson hid her alleged ill-gotten gains from him, and he didn’t learn about the thefts until Jackson began bragging about it around town. In her answer, filed Jan. 11 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jackson, 34, said she did not steal from Mayweather, with whom she was in a relationship with for eight years. Jackson said in court papers that Mayweather condoned her spending and didn’t have a problem with it until they broke up. Jackson – repped by legal eagle Gloria Allred – wants Mayweather’s suit thrown out, her lawyer fees paid and “for such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper.” A judge has yet to rule on the case.
Keyshia Cole Ordered To Pay Beating Victim $100K Cash Money employee Sabrina Mercadel has won her case against Keyshia Cole for catching a 4 am fade from the singer back in 2014. If you’ll recall, way back when Keyshia was grinding on top of grand pianos in the name of love for Birdman…she caught wind that the Cash Money Millionaire might be spending time with another woman behind her back. She paid a surprise visit to his West L.A. condo in the middle of the night, accusing Birdman of being a cheater. Sabrina was there at the time, and caught Keyshia’s hands. She claimed that Keyshia punched her in the face multiple times, snatched her hair and scratched her face and mouth with her fingernails — beating her so badly that one of her own fingers was rendered useless. Sabrina said Keyshia wilded out for no reason, asserting that she and Birdman were only “plutonic friends.” Yes, she actually spelled it that way. Either way, she sued the singer over the summer, seeking $4 million in damages for her injuries and emotional distress. According to TMZ , the judge apparently didn’t see it for her request of $4 million, but felt that $100,635 for her troubles would suffice. SMH. Sometimes keeping it real goes wrong.
