The Juice is once again loose on the Internet. In an image released on Monday by Nevada’s Department of Corrections, O.J. Simpson is posing for his first photo since July 13. And he looks pretty darn happy to be standing for another mug shot, doesn’t he? The picture above was snapped this week at Lovelock Correctional Center, where Simpson has been a prisoner ever since he was convicted of armed robbery back in 2008. Indeed, the probable murderer was arrested for breaking into a Las Vegas hotel room nine years ago, joining a group of other men in making an attempt to steal some sports memorabilia. Simpson is eligible for parole next year. According to one former friend of the ex-running back, Simpson may admit to killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman upon his eventual release from prison. But we find that pretty hard to believe. We also doubt he’ll try to hook up with the Jenners upon his release. The case has been back in the news of late because FX aired a mesmerizing miniseries based on the investigation and trial this spring; while ESPN and ABC will premiere a six-part documentary on June 11 titled “O.J. Gilbert Arenas Slams Laura Govan After Winning STD Court Case Gilbert Arenas has won yet another victory over his ex-wife and mother of his 5 kids Laura Govan…so naturally, the baller is taking this as yet another golden opportunity to roast his former lady to high heaven . If you’ll recall, Gilbert sued Laura earlier this year for defamation after she blabbed to the world that her ex-husband had given her multiple sexually transmitted infections during the course of their relationship. Gilbert swore that it wasn’t true and sought monetary damages over her attempt to smear his name. Well, apparently the judge determined that Laura’s story was full of lies. Apparently LAURA had a healthy handful of STIs…but Gilbert’s medical records consistently came back clear as a sunny day. Johnson & Johnson Ordered To Pay Woman With Ovarian Cancer $55M Remember back in February when Johnson & Johnson was ordered to pay $72 million to the family of a woman who died of ovarian cancer? Well… per KTLA : Johnson & Johnson has suffered its second costly court defeat in less than three months over claims its talcum powder caused cancer. And many more cases are looming. A jury in St. Louis awarded $55 million in damages to Gloria Ristesund, who used Johnson & Johnson’s talcum powder for more than 35 years before being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2011. Ristesund’s lawyers argued that Johnson & Johnson knew of possible health risks associated with talc, but failed to warn consumers. “Internal documents from J & J show it knew of studies connecting talc use and ovarian cancer but, to this day, it continues to market it as safe — neglecting any warning,” The Onder Law Firm, which represented Ristesund, said in a statement. Johnson & Johnson said it plans to appeal the verdict. “Multiple scientific and regulatory reviews have determined that talc is safe for use in cosmetic products and the labeling on Johnson’s Baby Powder is appropriate,” Carol Goodrich, a spokesperson for Johnson & Johnson Consumer, said in a statement. Cardinals Pitcher Carlos Martinez Denies Yikes… This lawsuit sounds like a doozy ! A woman is claiming that major league baller Carlos Martinez BURNED her even after she asked him if he was STD-free . According to TMZ reports : St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez is ferociously disputing a lawsuit — in which the 24-year-old is accused of giving a woman non-life threatening STDs … after swearing he was clean. The woman behind the suit, filed in district court in Miami, claims she began a romantic relationship with Martinez in 2012 — and the two had an on-and-off relationship for years. According to the suit, the two reconnected last year — and began having sex again on Dec. 16th. Two days later, the woman claims she began to feel ill and later tested positive for multiple STDs. The woman claims she had grilled Martinez about his sexual health before they hooked up and he “swore to God that he was not infected with any sexually transmitted disease.” Soon after the woman informed Martinez about her condition, he allegedly bolted for the Dominican Republic and never called her back. Now, she’s suing him for battery, negligent transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, fraud and more … and she’s demanding more than $1.5 million in damages. We spoke with Martinez’s attorney Ruben Scolavino who tells us Carlos adamantly denies the allegations. “I can tell you most assuredly the allegations are 100% false.” Do you think this woman has a case? The pressure is building for Jay Z. Last year, a 21-year-old aspiring rapper named Rymir Satterthwaite claimed Jay Z was his biological father, but thus far Mr. Beyonce has refused to take a paternity test. And now, the Families Civil Liberties Union is getting involved, according to Radar Online. The president of the association, Gregory T. Roberts, wrote a letter to Jay Z’s legal team , urging them to force the rapper to take a DNA test to determine whether or not he is indeed Satterthwaite’s father. “If Jay Z is innocent, I’m curious why you don’t advise him to take the paternity test rather than create false battles and artificial conflict with an upstanding not-for-profit,” wrote Roberts. “I have been 100% cooperative with you.” “In turn, you seem determined to create a frivolous legal blizzard of subpoenas in a futile attempt to find some hidden treasure trove of information that we don’t have,” he continued. Last year, Satterthwaite and his legal guardian Lillie Colley filed a civil suit against Jay Z, claiming that he provided fraudulent information to the court to try and silence the man who claims to be his son. Satterthwaite and Colley in turn sought damages to be paid by Jay Z. Now, Roberts alleges that Jay’s legal team has had a hand in some unethical legal maneuvering. “[The case] appears to involve a politically connected law firm that leverages the legal system as a sword and, through cozy relations with judges and politicians, receives a sweetheart deal that denies the legal rights of others,” Roberts continued. In conclusion, Roberts brought Jay Z’s wife, the one and only Queen Bey, into the mix. “Like Beyonce, who stands against police officers who overstep their power, we stand against lawyers who seek an unfair advantage with friendly judges and legally abuse adversaries seeking fairness in the judicial system,” he wrote. “Only you can know if you fall into that category. If you do think you are in that category, we (of course) would hate to find Jay-Z falling victim to a predatory lawyer using him for his money.” Eep. Harsh words for Jay and his lawyers. We can’t help but wonder what Beyonce is thinking. Earlier this week, rumors surfaced that she announced her plans to divorce the rapper during a drunken episode at friend Kelly Rowland’s birthday party.
