Abby Lee Miller is making her way to prison in the next few weeks. The disgraced former Dance Moms star was sentenced to one year and one day in the slammer after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud last June. But when? According to Radar Online, “Abby will be checking into prison on June 30 .” “Although she has not yet received an official confirmation on where she will be serving her time, she has heard good things about Apple Valley or Victorville, which are both prisons located in California,” the rep said. Wait… so is Abby actually looking forward to swapping her dancing costumes for an orange jumpsuit? Reality TV stars do have a knack for coming out of prison and landing higher paid reality TV gigs. Maybe Teresa Giudice has been giving Abby some tips on how to raise her profile or something because she did get a hefty raise when she returned to The Real Housewives of New Jersey following her stint in the slammer. Abby’s legal woes came to the forefront when it emerged that she tried to hide more than $775,000 in earnings. If you watch Dance Moms online , you will already know that some of the other moms have taunted Abby over her bad decisions. It’s difficult to feel bad for Miller when you consider just how nasty she has been on the Lifetime reality series. At one point during the most recent season, Miller broke down in tears as she wondered what would become of her. Even Miller herself is still shocked about the fact she will be spending a stretch behind bars. “I almost fell over when my sentence was announced,” Miller said at the premiere for E!’s Vanderpump Rules wannabe, The Abbey. She also claimed that she was planning to return the money she owed, but there has been nothing else said about it since. It’s crazy to think just how prominent Abby was on reality TV and now she’s showing up to premieres for some of the worst reality shows out there. Abby quit Dance Moms in sensational fashion earlier this year, with a statement that essentially trashed everyone associated with the production of the Lifetime hit. It reads as follows: The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS. Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to over a year in prison. But the irritating reality star refuses to slink away quietly. Shocking, right? Two weeks after a judge told Miller she would need to spend 366 days behind bars , due to her admitted role in a bankruptcy fraud scheme, the ex-Dance Moms host has come out firing against the new Dance Moms host. Back in March, Miller laid into producers of this long-running Lifetime hit, slamming them as cheap and chauvinistic and quitting her job as star of the popular show. Just days later, Cheryl Burke was hired to take over on Season 8, which is filming new episodes as we type. After initially expressing basic excitement over the gig in her first set of public comments since being hired, Burke turned her attention toward Miller herself several days ago. Speaking to reporters backstage at Dancing with the Stars, Burke said the following about the effect Miller’s sentencing has had on her former students: “The girls are so precious, and I feel like they are traumatized from what has happened with Abby, and it’s important for me to still be strict and do what I do.” Added Burke: “I expect nothing but the best from the girls, but it’s also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they are all beautiful and talented.” Naturally, these words got back to Miller, who did not miss out on an opportunity to stir up a new feud. “I think it’s a joke,” the 50-year-old choreographer tells Us Weekly , expounding: “In my studio, every single day, I had numerous producers, [choreographer] Gianna [Martello] and some type of child advocate service person who’s the tutor/social worker who is there, who watches … everything that’s said, everything that goes on. “So, how could any traumatizing be going on? That’s ridiculous.” That’s a weird response, isn’t it? Burke is simply saying that the girls are having some trouble dealing with the fact that their former instructor is going to prison. As they should be, right? As Miller likely would even want them to be, no? But Abby isn’t even focused with her ex-pupils in this case. She’s focused on the woman who is taking her place on Dance Moms and she’s taking Burke’s remarks very personally. “I think that’s a really rough statement and I would never say that about Cheryl,” Miller tells the aforementioned tabloid. “I think she needs to watch her mouth.” Or… what? Miller is going to an actual prison. She will soon be spending actual time behind bars. She isn’t really one to be making threats at the moment. In closing, the Pittsburgh native also claims that Burke doesn’t have enough experience for her new job. “Doing a show for three weeks is nothing like doing a show for seven seasons,” Miller says, perhaps forgettign that Burke has competed on 19 seasons of Dancing with the Stars. Specifically, Lonsdale admitted that he’s attracted to both men and women. “I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, and I like guys (yes),” wrote the 25-year old star, who you may also recognize as Uriah from the movie Allegiant. He added on Saturday, May 13: “I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I’m becoming. “Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different … which is just untrue.” Lonsdale included the following photo with his announcement and went on to explain that a “couple years ago” he was “able to accept” himself. Wrote the star: “It saved my life, but now I’ve gotten to a new road block and I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step and actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. “Not faking sh-t anymore, not apologizing for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I’ve become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared.” Good. We admire Lonsdale for fully embracing who he really is. Along with the aforementioned television and film role, the 25-year old has appeared on TV shows All Saints and Dance Academy, along with the movies Insurgent and The Finest Hours. He concluded in his Instagram post that no one should be ashamed about who they are. A few weeks ago, Abby Lee Miller resigned as host of Dance Moms. She is now free from the responsibilities of that Lifetime reality series. A few hours ago, however, Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to time behind bars for her admitted role in a bankruptcy scheme. Soon, she will no longer be a free woman. On Tuesday morning, a federal judge handed down a sentencing of one year and one day to the dancing instructor, following Miller’s official guilty plea last June. Miller had been indicted on 20 counts of fraud connected to hiding $755,000 in earnings from the government over the years. She filed for Chapter 11 in 2010 and then set up a hidden bank account, into which she deposited vast sums earned from television show appearances and merchandise sales. She did not disclose these deposits to the government, something she was legally required to do after claiming she was bankrupt. As a result of her guilty plea last year, Miller was convicted on one count of concealing assets and one count of not reporting an international transaction. During the sentencing hearing today, she took the stand and begged the judge for mercy, saying she had fallen victim to the sudden fame that came when Dance Moms took off. But Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti wasn’t really having it. He didn’t seem to care very much about the crying defendant in front of him, telling Miller and a packed courtroom: “You weren’t truthful, even when you knew you were supposed to tell everything, you still weren’t truthful. Somehow you got caught up in the world of fame and you lost your moral compass.” In addition to her time behind bars, Miller was fined $40,000 and ordered to pay $120,000 judgement. Following her jail stint, the ex-reality star will remain on supervised release for two years. “Throughout this case, Ms. Miller has taken both the allegations and the proceedings very seriously,” Miller’s lawyer, Robert Ridge, previously told People Magazine in a statement. “This has been a challenging time for Ms. Miller. She appreciates the words of encouragement and support from around the world.” Over the past few weeks, Miller has granted Entertainment Tonight a number of interviews. She’s avoided the topic of her impending sentencing, however, choosing to slam her former bosses at Lifetime instead. “They know how to push my buttons, but it’s gone beyond that, to the point where it is so offensive as a woman,” Miller said of the producers shortly after she quit, adding: “I think it’s detrimental to my health, to my mental health, to everything. It’s awful. There’s no privacy, there’s no respect.” Well… Abby better get used to a lack of privacy. She won’t exactly have it in jail, either. This is what Miller said about a year ago in court upon admitting her guilt: “Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students. “Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way.” While a year as an inmate and a six-figure fine may seem like a lot, Miller really ought to consider herself lucky. She could have been sentenced to five years and up to $5 million in fines. Sadly, we all know how this is going to end up, don’t we? Miller is going to jail for basically the same crime as committed by Teresa Giudice. And she emerged from prison with an even bigger paycheck then she was previously receiving from Bravo, as well as an integral role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey . We wish we could say that we’ve seen the last of Abby Lee Miller. But we highly doubt that’s the case.
Britney Spears is a wonderful creature and she’s showing her age by doing a channeling a sea animal that her crazy ass probably thinks she is – because she’s crazy – or this is a little PLANK on the beach, since PLANKING was the last trend that was relevant back when Britney was allowed to use the internet…before her family…the captors who put her under conservatorship locked that out…so she can’t cry for help, but can instead fill her days training for her Vegas dance show..and sometimes, if she’s a little tired from all the sedatives and demands they have on her to be their dancing monkey….like the golden egg she is….they let her go to Hawaii….where she can play on the beach…in her bikini…but you know her handlers with their leashes and cages aren’t too far away! That said, I know she’s doing a surf lessons, and not planking, but there’s no story in her having the independence to learn to surf, unless of course she takes that board out to the horizon and is never seen again…you know in a save yourself from the prison you live in kind of way.
