Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to over a year in prison. But the irritating reality star refuses to slink away quietly. Shocking, right? Two weeks after a judge told Miller she would need to spend 366 days behind bars , due to her admitted role in a bankruptcy fraud scheme, the ex-Dance Moms host has come out firing against the new Dance Moms host. Back in March, Miller laid into producers of this long-running Lifetime hit, slamming them as cheap and chauvinistic and quitting her job as star of the popular show. Just days later, Cheryl Burke was hired to take over on Season 8, which is filming new episodes as we type. After initially expressing basic excitement over the gig in her first set of public comments since being hired, Burke turned her attention toward Miller herself several days ago. Speaking to reporters backstage at Dancing with the Stars, Burke said the following about the effect Miller’s sentencing has had on her former students: “The girls are so precious, and I feel like they are traumatized from what has happened with Abby, and it’s important for me to still be strict and do what I do.” Added Burke: “I expect nothing but the best from the girls, but it’s also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they are all beautiful and talented.” Naturally, these words got back to Miller, who did not miss out on an opportunity to stir up a new feud. “I think it’s a joke,” the 50-year-old choreographer tells Us Weekly , expounding: “In my studio, every single day, I had numerous producers, [choreographer] Gianna [Martello] and some type of child advocate service person who’s the tutor/social worker who is there, who watches … everything that’s said, everything that goes on. “So, how could any traumatizing be going on? That’s ridiculous.” That’s a weird response, isn’t it? Burke is simply saying that the girls are having some trouble dealing with the fact that their former instructor is going to prison. As they should be, right? As Miller likely would even want them to be, no? But Abby isn’t even focused with her ex-pupils in this case. She’s focused on the woman who is taking her place on Dance Moms and she’s taking Burke’s remarks very personally. “I think that’s a really rough statement and I would never say that about Cheryl,” Miller tells the aforementioned tabloid. “I think she needs to watch her mouth.” Or… what? Miller is going to an actual prison. She will soon be spending actual time behind bars. She isn’t really one to be making threats at the moment. In closing, the Pittsburgh native also claims that Burke doesn’t have enough experience for her new job. “Doing a show for three weeks is nothing like doing a show for seven seasons,” Miller says, perhaps forgettign that Burke has competed on 19 seasons of Dancing with the Stars. Take your time. OK, now let’s get into the details. On April 1st, in Dusk Nightclub in Atlantic City, Jon will get on stage and strip down in a show called Untamed Male Revue. And we know all that because of this handy little poster he’s been sharing on Twitter: And we know, we know, all this is supposed to go down on April Fool’s Day. But, fittingly enough , April Fool’s Day is also Jon’s birthday — his 40th birthday, to be exact. So maybe he’s just choosing to celebrate his special day in a special way. It’s possible. Sources tell TMZ that Jon is actually friends with the people running the show, which is how he got involved . And, fortunately (or unfortunately? Depends on what you’re into, we guess), Jon won’t be getting totally nude on stage. He’ll be leaving his underwear on. Sources also said that Jon’s show will be more of a Magic Mike type of show, which apparently means more dancing and less “hump your face” action. Small miracles. In the weeks leading up to the show, he’s been doing a lot of rehearsing, and he’s even been working out, trying to get that old bod of his into decent shape for his big day. But while there’s all this information circulating about, and while people are insisting it’s not a joke, it seems important to note that in his Twitter post promoting the event, he wrote “Check it out, my big debut … ?” Not the most confident announcement ever, right? So there’s a chance that it still could be a joke, or maybe Jon is just doing another DJ gig for the real strippers to get down to. Or maybe all of our dreams/nightmares are coming true, and Jon Gosselin really is becoming a stripper. What a world. What. A. World.
There’s officially a new member of the One Direction Dads’ Club! Liam Payne took to Instagram moments ago to confirm that he and girlfriend Cheryl Cole have welcomed a baby boy. It’s the first child for both. Payne confirmed the news by posting the photo above along with a heartfelt message praising his loved ones and fans for their continued support: “My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! “I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. He added that the child does not yet have a name, writing: “We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.” Cole posted the same photo to her own social media accounts along with the following caption: “On Wednesday, 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. “Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.” She added: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.” Yes, tomorrow is Mother’s Day in the UK, and little As-Yet-Unnamed arrived just in time the make the occasion all the more special to Cheryl. The early days of their romance were marred by controversy, as it was widely rumored that Cole had left her husband for Payne, who’s ten years her junior. Rob Kardashian may be on the outs with more than just Kylie Jenner. As reported earlier today, the reality star made major headlines last night when he Tweeted Kylie’s phone number to his many millions of followers. Why would he do such a thing? Why would he screw over a member of his family? Because Kylie was planning a baby shower without inviting the woman who is actually carrying Rob’s baby, Blac Chyna. In response to this snub, Kardashian said Kylie must have “lost her damned mind,” releasing his sister’s digits for all to see and making sure to even tell the world that he wasn’t “hacked.” He really did release his sister’s number. Multiple outlets have confirmed it really is Kylie’s number in the Tweet and that she was forced to have it disconnected. Here. But there’s a lot more to it: An insider says that Kylie and some others were planning separate baby showers for Rob and Chyna because the couple has essentially broken up. They supposedly haven’t had any contact in weeks, last hanging out for dinner the night before Rob & Chyna premiered on E!. Simply put, TMZ writes, Kardashian and Chyna have “split.” And while those who watch Rob & Chyna online have seen plenty of arguments between its stars… and while the extended trailer for Season 1 (below) features nearly nothing but massive blow-outs between the two… this is not a planted story to drive up ratings. It’s been a rough few weeks for the swimming world’s most lovable dumbass, Ryan Lochte. Shortly after he was caught lying about being robbed at gunpoint at the Rio Olympics , Lochte made an unexpected career choice that’s done little to help mend his battered reputation. When rumors first began to circulate that Lochte would join the cast of Dancing With the Stars for the show’s 23rd season, many took it as a joke. Then the cast was officially announced, and Lochte confirmed that yet again, what seemed to ridiculous to be true was in fact a serious life decision that he made, presumably after careful consideration. Now, Lochte is proving his critics right and demonstrating that like the Little Mermaid and so many millions of hooked fish before him, Ryan was really better off in the water. On his very first episode, Lochte was rushed by protesters , who are now facing jail time. That’s hardly Lochte’s fault, but it’s the kind of idiocy you invite when you decide to weather the storm of an international scandal by doing competitive cha-cha’s on ABC. Anyway, it turns out Lochte is only slightly better at dancing than he is at lying his way out of tight spots. On tonight’s elimination show, he and Cheryl Burke are on the chopping block along with several other couples who all failed to earn immunity during last night’s competition . Marilu Henner and Derek Hough, Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Allison Holker, or Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber could all be sent packing. Of course, a bad attitude is often a deal-breaker on DWTS and thus far, two stars have allegedly been caught speaking ill about their show and their experiences in the race for the Mirrored Ball. Last week, sources claimed that Amber Rose griped that the show is “rigged.” Now, it seems Lochte is echoing her complaint . According to Radar Online, the Olympian is not happy about facing elimination, and he feels that the judges knew he would never win the competition before he ever set foot on the floor. “Ryan and Cheryl are pretty sure that they are going to be eliminated tonight,” a source tells the website. “Ryan was actually telling people that he thought the show was rigged and that everyone was out to sabotage him.” The 32-year-old also took issue with last night’s unorthodox head-to-head format: “He also said that it was unfair of them to put him and Cheryl up against James Hinchcliffe and his partner Sharna Burgess, because he said that they are both ‘really strong dancers.’” The insider adds that Lochte was visibly upset after Hinchcliffe and Burgess emerged victorious: “After they lost last night, Ryan was not even trying to hide his emotions,” the source says. “He was super upset and Cheryl was trying to console him, but he was not having any of it.” So could Lochte be facing yet another public humiliation?
