Lil Wayne, Drake, Gucci Mane Get Personal In DJ Scoob Doo’s ‘Entourage’ DVD

DVD shows Gucc shooting scenes for ‘Steady Mobbin’ ‘ video, which will be featured on ‘Nino Brown Story, Pt. 3.’ By Shaheem Reid Lil Wayne Photo: MTV News Vincent Chase and Turtle can keep chasing girls in Hollywood. DJ Scoob Doo has his own crew of industry bigwigs he’s getting paper with in the upcoming DVD “Entourage: Fetti Holmes Edition.” “It’s the teaser for the ‘Nino Brown Story, Pt. 3’ that’s arriving this summer,” Scoob told MTV News last week. “We don’t have a date for that, but ‘Entourage’ is gonna help you wait for the ‘Nino Brown 3’ DVD.” The DVD features intimate segments with Jadakiss, the Birdman, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and Drake. “You’re gonna see a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff with Drake,” Scoob said of one portion of the DVD. “A lot of interaction with Lil Wayne. This is your front-row seat to what goes on in the game, kind of like what ESPN shows behind the sports or the ‘Entourage’ show on HBO shows behind the scenes of the movie industry; this ‘Entourage’ shows the behind the scenes in the hip-hop world. This is no acting going on. “I chose the title of ‘Entourage’ because this is — in my opinion — the heavy hitters of the game. It happens that I have personal relationships with them. It made sense not to sit on the footage, not to sit on the exclusive content. A lot of people are waiting for that ‘Nino Brown Story’ with Lil Wayne. But this is something you can watch to keep you in suspense and satisfy that hunger.” One of the highlights of the DVD shows Gucci Mane shooting scenes for the upcoming “Steady Mobbin’ ” music video; that video will be featured on “Nino Brown Story, Pt. 3.” “Hooking up with Gucci Mane fresh out of jail for the ‘Entourage’ DVD and the ‘Steady Mobbin’ ‘ video was historic,” the DJ/ video director said. “Gucci Mane has frenzy control around him. He has a lot of fans out there. Gucci is a star that’s about to be a shooting star. So it’s an honor for me to catch it while it’s turning into something different. I heard Miley Cyrus shouting out Gucci Mane . Gucci’s hot right now. We linked up on a Sunday on Memorial Day weekend in Miami. Gucci was already doing all his Miami stuff, Memorial Day stuff. He was winning in Miami. We had to take it to the next level with that ‘Steady Mobbin’ ‘ video. We started it in Miami, historic. He had the Bumble Bee Ferrari. The Ferrari is incredible. We took it to Atlanta to finish the ‘Steady Mobbin’ ‘ video. Gucci is introducing the ‘Steady Mobbin’ ‘ video for the people, and it’s a historic event right here.” Wayne shot his part for “Steady Mobbin’ ” — a single from the We Are Young Money LP — at his five-story mansion in Miami earlier this year about two hours before he boarded a private jet to start his prison sentence, while Gucci was already behind bars. Gucci, now out of prison, filmed his scenes last month. “Entourage: Fetti Holmes Edition” comes out this week. Are you looking forward to Wayne and Gucci’s “Steady Mobbin’ ” video? Lady Gaga Debuts New Song ‘You And I’ At Elton John Benefit

Video of Gaga performing new ‘rock-and-roll tune’ hits the Net. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga and Elton John (file) Photo: Kevin Kane/ WireImage We already know that Lady Gaga is pretty much finished with the follow-up to her smash full-length debut, The Fame. But now we finally have a peek at some of the material that might be on the album, thanks to footage of Gaga performing at Elton John ‘s White Tie and Tiara Ball last Thursday. “This is a brand-new record that no one’s ever heard before … ever,” she said while seated at one of her signature deconstructed pianos and wearing a bedazzled black bra and panties with black boots. “And I’ve never, ever played it live, ever.” On her Twitter , she described “You and I” as a “new song … written in NY on the piano I grew up on.” Sounding a tad hoarse, Gaga described the song to her audience as a bit of a “rock-and-roll tune,” predicting that for that reason it will not likely get used as a single, but that it is “very dear” to her heart. “It’s been a long time since I came around/ It’s been a long time, but I’m back in town/ And this time, I’m not leaving without you,” she sang, describing a whiskey-breathed lover for whom she’s pining. “He said, ‘Sit back down where you belong, in the corner of my bar with your high heels on,’ ” she continued, her voice rising and getting a bit more growly just before the band came in and provided a swaying backdrop to the bluesy rocker. ” ‘Sit back down on the couch where we made out the first time, and you said to me/ “Something, something about this place/ Something about lonely lights and my lipstick on your face.” ‘ ” She wasn’t kidding about the song having a rock edge, as the tune eschewed most of her dance flavor, right down to a rollicking barrelhouse piano solo, during which she stood up on the piano bench and bashed out some John-worthy runs on the black and whites. She finished the tune crouched on the bench, wailing, “You and I,” while pumping her fist, before giving it a big finish that included kicking a heel up on the keyboard and lying across the piano bench with her head on the ground. Gaga tweeted about her performance at the 12th annual fundraiser for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, writing, “What a brilliant evening with wonderful friends. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. What a magical stage.” Gaga also took the stage in a wheelchair with her chest covered in fake blood and accompanied by an oiled-up male dancer for a run through “Alejandro,” and she performed her ballad “Speechless.” During the latter, John came out and joined her for a dueling-pianos showdown, trading off verses on the tune dedicated to Gaga’s dad and then reprising their Grammys duet with a snippet of his hit “Your Song,” during which he improvised the line, “I hope you don’t mind that I wrote down in words/ How wonderful life is with Gaga in the world.” The gothic-themed event took place at a Windsor mansion owned by John and partner David Furnish and featured performance artists wearing straight jackets and dangling from fake trees and bandaged men in white coats serving cocktails in medicine bottles. According to reports, guests included Elizabeth Hurley, Kate Beckinsale, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Jon Bon Jovi and Kid Rock. What do you think of Gaga’s new song? Let us know in comments below. Networks Lauding ‘Brilliant’ Obama on Petraeus Move Are Skipping Over Ugly Anti-Surge Clips

While the television networks were doing an Obama Superiority Dance, proclaiming the president’s firing Gen. Stanley McChrystal and replacing him with Gen. David Petraeus was “brilliant,” something was missing in the coverage. That was a sense that if Petraeus is universally honored as the savior of Iraq, why do the networks all forget it was Obama and Biden who suggested Petraeus and his surge was a bad idea a few years ago? On NBC, Chuck Todd was promoting it as a “commander-in-chief moment.” Mr. Todd, please read a piece of this Meet the Press interview from September 7, 2008, with appreciation for fill-in host Tom Brokaw actually pushing new V.P. nominee Joe Biden about whether the surge and its architect deserved any credit for improvements in Iraq. Biden didn’t want to cry uncle: BROKAW: Here you were, just one year ago, on Meet the Press. This was your take on the surge at that time, so let’s listen to that, Senator. “I mean, the truth of the matter is this administration’s policy and the surge are a failure,” you said, “and that the surge, which was supposed to stop sectarian violence and – long enough to give political reconciliation, there has been no political reconciliation.” Then you went on to say earlier in the year, “General Petraeus believes that it is a good idea, the surge. He may be the only one who believes that. Virtually no one else believes it’s a good idea .” Well, at the time, John McCain did, and all the indications are the surge has worked up to a point. It’s not a victory, as Senator Lindsey Graham said the other night… BIDEN: Or as John McCain said. BROKAW: Or John McCain said, but the conditions are in place, and Anbar province, where you have been, where there had been so much difficulty, the Iraqis now have taken over that province. We have brigades that have Sunnis and Shia serving side by side… BIDEN: Not many. BROKAW: …fighting the terrorists. But it’s a process, and it’s beginning, and the surge made that possible, did it not? BIDEN: No. The surge helped make that–what made is possible in Anbar province is they did what I’d suggested two and a half years ago: gave local control. They turned over and they said to the Sunnis in Anbar province, “We promise you, don’t worry, you’re not going to have any Shia in here. There’s going to be no national forces in here. We’re going to train your forces to help you fight al-Qaeda.” And that you–what you had was the Awakening. The Awakening was not an awakening by us, it was an awakening of the Sunnis in Anbar province willing to fight. BROKAW: Cooperating with the Shia. BIDEN: Willing to fight. Cooperating with–no, they weren’t cooperating with Shiite. They didn’t cooperate with the Shiites. BROKAW: Once the Awakening got under way. BIDEN: No, no, no. No, they didn’t cooperate with the Shiites. It’s still–it’s a big problem, Tom. You got–we’re paying 300 bucks a month to each of those guys. Now the problem has been and the, and the promise was made by Maliki that they would be integrated into the overall military. That’s a process that is beginning in fits and starts now, but it’s far from over. Far from–look, the bottom line here is that it’s–let’s–the surge is over. Here’s the real point. Whether or not the surge worked is almost irrelevant now. We’re in a new deal. This is where the laugh track should have started. “Whether or not the surge worked is almost irrelevant now.” Except that you said Gen. Petraeus was a crazy lone wolf in arguing for it, and now Biden was looking silly. But he actually dug a bigger hole, crediting Obama and not Petraeus for successes in Iraq: BIDEN: What is the administration doing? They’re doing what Barack Obama has suggested over 14 months ago, turn responsibility over and draw down our troops. We’re about to get a deal from the president of the United States and Maliki, the head of the Iraqi government, that’s going to land on my desk as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee saying we’re going to set a timeline to draw down our forces. The only guy in America out of step is John McCain. John McCain’s saying no timeline. They’ve signed on to Barack Obama’s proposal. BROKAW: But the surge helped make that timeline possible, did it not? BIDEN: Well, it did help make it possible. It did help. But it’s not the reason. It can’t be that hard for Todd and NBC researchers to dig up their own footage and look at it again. Were Obama and Biden “brilliant” back then? Or do good reporters never remember what happened before last week?

CNN Conducts Sympathetic Interview of Another Homosexual Teen Activist

On Tuesday’s Newsroom, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin brought on another teenaged homosexual activist for a sympathetic interview to help promote their upcoming one-sided documentary , “Gary and Tony Have a Baby.” Baldwin prompted Constance McMillen to give advice to ” other teens who are suffering in silence .” The anchor also didn’t press McMillen on how she might have inconvenienced her classmates. Baldwin, who was substituting for Kyra Phillips, brought on McMillen just after bottom of the 10 am Eastern hour. The CNN anchor trumpeted how the Mississippi teen was meeting with President Obama later in the day and how she was going to be grand martial for New York’s annual homosexual prade, and first asked, “Would you trade that all in if you could have gone to the regular prom with the rest of your classmates?” After McMillen gave her initial answer, Baldwin continued by mentioning how a U.S. District Court ruled that Constance McMillen’s high school violated her rights when they cancelled their prom, but omitted that it didn’t force the school to reinstate the dance : “Now, we know that the court eventually ruled – they said, absolutely, that the school violated your constitutional rights. And I want you to explain, though, what happened, because you transferred schools, right, late in your senior year? Why did do you that?” Later in the interview, the anchor sympathized with the homosexual teen: “So you transferred schools, and I can only imagine- it’s the end of your senior year, where you can’t walk with the rest of your classmates, right? Maybe you wouldn’t have wanted to. But I understand that at graduation day, normally a happy day for a lot of us- it was pretty tearful for you. Why was that? ” Baldwin didn’t once mention how the teen’s former high school classmates might have been affected by her actions. A slanted CNN.com article from earlier on Tuesday about how McMillen and fellow homosexual teen Ceara Sturgis (whom Soledad O’Brien sympathized with during a June 15 report ) have found “support in each other” hinted at the classmates sentiment: “McMillen says despite the difficult times, she wants to return to Itawamba and begin studies at the local junior college. She wants to be near her high school girlfriend. She says it won’t be easy. ‘ My best friend — we had been friends for like seven years — has not spoken with me since the day they canceled prom ,’ she says.” The anchor closed out the interview by asking McMillen to give advice to other homosexual high school students: “Before I let you go, for people who are watching and watched your story the past few months, what message- what have you taken away from this, and what message might you have for- maybe, some other teens who are suffering in silence? ” CNN has given a full-court press to their upcoming “Gary and Tony” documentary by airing several reports which helped further homosexual activists’ agenda. Besides O’Brien’s June 15 report, the network aired a gushing two-part report on the two “powerhouse” lawyers who are leading the effort against California’s Proposition 8, and conducted two softball interviews of the two subjects of O’Brien’s documentary on Sunday and Monday. The full transcript of Brooke Baldwin’s interview of Constance McMillen from Tuesday’s Newsroom: BALDWIN: Schoolwork, prom, graduation- you know, it’s the stuff most high school seniors think about, but 18-year-old Constance McMillan will be talking about it- oh, with- oh, the president of the United States. Why? Well, she sparked that national firestorm when she tried to take her girlfriend to prom, prompting her school to cancel the dance. She is joining us live this morning from Washington, and Constance, good morning to you. Listen, I appreciate you taking a little time and talking to me before your big night with the President. Good morning. CONSTANCE MCMILLEN: Good morning. BALDWIN: Let me first ask you, when you look at everything that’s happened since the story broke- it really broke- nationwide, you are meeting with the President. You’re going to be a grand marshal of the New York gay pride parade coming up. But would you trade that all in if you could have gone to the regular prom with the rest of your classmates? MCMILLEN: No, because if I had gone to the regular prom with the rest of my classmates, then I would not have been able to bring my girlfriend, and I wouldn’t have been able to be myself. So- and that was the whole point. Like, I wasn’t going to be able to go if I wasn’t going to be able to be myself. BALDWIN: Now, we know that the court eventually ruled – they said, absolutely, that the school violated your constitutional rights. And I want you to explain, though, what happened, because you transferred schools, right, late in your senior year? Why did do you that? MCMILLEN: Well, I started- like, doing my work from home because it was- like, it was really hard for me to go to that school because of how the people were treating me. It was just really hard for me to finish school there. So I- BALDWIN: What were they doing? What were they saying to you? MCMILLEN: I mean, it was- like, it was hostile all the time. There were rumors flying around about me. Every single day, I heard a new rumor and- like, it was just- it was really, really hard to concentrate in an environment where everybody ‘s like- being really mean. (laughs) So, I decided to do my work from home, but it got really hard because some of the work that I had to do, I couldn’t do if I wasn’t in the class. BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: So that’s why I transferred schools. BALDWIN: So you transferred schools, and I can only imagine- it’s the end of your senior year, where you can’t walk with the rest of your classmates, right? Maybe you wouldn’t have wanted to. But I understand that at graduation day, normally a happy day for a lot of us- it was pretty tearful for you. Why was that? MCMILLEN: Well, it was like- I mean, I really didn’t- I didn’t want to walk, but I did for my parents. But it was really hard because- like, after everything I’ve been through- like, it was just reminding me, really, that a lot of the people that I used to have that were good friends- like, I don’t have those friends anymore and- I mean, I was- I didn’t know most- I mean, the classmates- the school was wonderful. But- like, I didn’t know a lot of the people there- BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: And so, I was just kind of standing there. BALDWIN: Right. MCMILLEN: It was just- it was really hard because it wasn’t- BALDWIN: Constance- go ahead- finish your thought. MCMILLEN: It wasn’t how I pictured graduation, so it was just- like, a little hard. (laughs) BALDWIN: Well, I understand you’re going on to college. Before I let you go, for people who are watching and watched your story the past few months, what message- what have you taken away from this, and what message might you have for- maybe, some other teens who are suffering in silence? MCMILLEN: I’ve learned through all of this how important it is to be an activist and how important it is to- like, stand up for yourself, because that was never my intention to start with. But- like now that I’ve been around and met all these people, I’ve learned how important it is. I’ve heard so many horror stories- so many people that go through just terrible things just because they’re gay. And- you know, if you’re going through something like that, I think you should stand up for yourself because- like, it was hard for me. I’m not going to say it wasn’t hard because it was. But I went through it so that nobody else would have to go through it, and I think that if you can do something like that and change it for a lot of other people, even though it’s hard on you, I think you should do that. BALDWIN: Constance McMillen, thank you, ma’am, for sharing your story with us this morning. Hey, good luck with the President tonight. It’s a pretty nice house he’s got. MCMILLEN: Yeah. BALDWIN: And thanks for sharing your story. Good luck with college. MCMILLEN: All right.

Meet Kenny Wormald, Your New Footloose Lead
